[0167] The following examples do not limit this application but merely illustrate how to implement this application.

[0168] Example 1:

[0169] In this example, EC 1-5 was prepared from raw materials in the amounts shown in Table 1 below:

[0170] 1. Add the solvents DMA and S-150ND to the reactor;

[0171] 2. Add carbosulfan and acetamiprid technology to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0172] 3. Gradually add the emulsifiers DYYL 60 / E and Termul 5500 to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0173] 4. Add triethylamine to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear.

[0174] 5. When discharging from the reactor, filter the solution (5μm).

[0175] Table 1: ECs 1-5

[0176]

[0177] The pH of the above-prepared EC 1-5 was tested as follows: First, obtain a diluted composition by diluting the original composition with water at a ratio of 99 g of water to 1 g of the original composition; second, test the pH of the diluted composition. The results are shown in Table 2.

[0178] The stability of the above-prepared EC 1-5 was tested by storing it at 54°C for 14 days. The initial pH value and initial content of carbosulfan, as well as the final pH value and final content of carbosulfan, are shown in Table 2. The degradation of carbosulfan was calculated as: (Initial content of carbosulfan - Final content of carbosulfan) / Initial content of carbosulfan.

[0179] Table 2: Test of Thermal Stability

[0180]

[0181]

[0182] As can be seen from Table 2, although no water was added as a component in EC1, the content of carbosulfan decreased by 1.29% after storage at 54 °C for 14 days. Surprisingly, it was found from Table 2 that the addition of triethylamine in the liquid compositions EC 2-5 significantly reduced the degradation of carbosulfan under high temperature storage, even when the initial carbosulfan content was as high as about 40% by weight, and thus improved the stability of EC.

[0183] Example 2:

[0184] In this example, EC 6-8 was prepared from raw materials in the amounts shown in Table 3 below:

[0185] 1. Add the solvents Genagen NBP and DMSO to the reactor;

[0186] 2. Add carbosulfan and acetamiprid to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0187] 3. Gradually add the surfactants Ninate 70B and SURFOM R 540 to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0188] 4. Add triethylamine to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0189] 5. Add ALTAPYNE M-28B to the reactor and mix until the solution is clear;

[0190] 6. When discharging from the reactor, filter the solution (5 μm).

[0191] Table 3: EC 6-8

[0192]

[0193]

[0194] Example 3:

[0195] The EC 6-8 prepared above was tested for its efficacy in controlling pests on whole plants.

[0196] 1. Pest: Aphis gossypii

[0197] 2. Plant host: Cucumber plants grown for 21 days.

[0198] 3. Plant growth conditions: Preferred temperature range 18 ± 2 °C, relative humidity 75 ± 5%. Sowing pot size 7x7x6 cm.

[0199] 4. Measurement method:

[0200] 4.1 Sample preparation:

[0201] 4.1.1 Preparation of the stock solution of EC 6’-8’ (equivalent to 100% field rate) from EC 6-8 by dissolving 267 μl of EC 6-8 (equivalent to 1.33 g AI / l) separately in 100 ml of water as shown in Table 4 below:

[0202] On the day of testing, crystalline precipitates were observed in EC 7-8. For EC 7, the precipitate could be dissolved by regular vortex mixing, while for EC 8 it could not. EC 8 was placed in a hot water bath (50 - 55 °C) for 5 - 10 minutes and then vortex mixed to obtain a homogeneous solution.

[0203] Table 4

[0204]

[0205] *Total AI concentration [g / l]: Carbosulfan 400 g / l + Acetamiprid 100 g / l

[0206] **100% labeled field rate [g AI / Ha]: 160 grams of carbosulfan + 40 grams of acetamiprid

[0207] 4.1.2 Preparation of the final treatment composition by diluting the above stock solution EC 6’-8’ with water to a 0.3% field rate (total AI concentration of 0.6 g / Ha).

[0208] 4.2 Application: Apply the above-prepared final treatment composition to the plants using a crawler sprayer at an application rate of 150 L / Ha (equivalent to a sprayer speed of 2.56 km / h at a shelf height of 65 cm). After application, transfer the plants to a chemical hood for drying.

[0209] 4.3 Determination setup: Set up separate insect cages. In 4.2, place a 150-mm paper disk under the cotyledons of the treated cucumber plants and place the plants in separate insect cages for infestation.

[0210] 4.4 Infestation:

[0211] Select a cucumber leaf with an existing insect population from a common insect rearing cage, transfer it under a microscope, and remove mature aphids (dark green or yellow bid aphids). Cut the leaf into 2 x 2 cm pieces and place 2 - 3 infested pieces on each treated leaf. One treated leaf represents one replicate, and at least 4 replicates are used for each treatment. After infestation, enclose the individual insect cages with a net.

[0212] 4.5 Hatching:

[0213] After infestation, transfer all cages to the insect shelf (constant temperature 22 - 24 °C), and then incubate on the shelf until the end of the determination.

[0214] 5. Determination duration:

[0215] From sowing to infestation: 21 days.

[0216] From infestation to the last manifestation: 5 days.

[0217] 6. Determination evaluation:

[0218] Count the number of surviving nymphs and dead nymphs on each leaf under a microscope. The mortality rate is calculated as follows:

[0219] Mortality rate % = Number of dead nymphs / Total number of nymphs

[0220] Total number of nymphs = Number of surviving nymphs + Number of dead nymphs

[0221] The mortality rate of EC 6 - 8 is listed in Table 5.

[0222] Table 5: Mortality rate results

[0223]

[0224]

[0225] Control 1 : Tap water

[0226] As can be seen from Table 5, compared with EC6, the addition of the adhesive significantly increases the efficacy of the liquid insecticidal composition of EC 7 - 8. Unexpectedly, EC8 with a higher adhesive content has a lower mortality rate than EC7. It is speculated that during the sample preparation of EC8, heating in hot water led to the degradation of heat - intolerant carbosulfan, reducing its actual content and thus impairing the efficacy of EC8.

[0227] Although the present application has been shown and described with reference to the preferred embodiments thereof, those skilled in the art will understand that many alternatives, modifications, and changes can be made to the present application without departing from the spirit and scope of the present application. Therefore, it is intended to include all such alternatives, modifications, and changes that fall within the spirit and broad scope of the appended claims.
