Thus, while enriching the pet's food rations, it increases the fun and sense of achievement of the pet owner, and further enhances the relationship between the pet and the owner.

[0031] Figure 1 It is a cross - sectional view of a pet food of a method for flavor - enhancing processing of pet food according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 It is a cross - sectional view of a pet food processed food 1 of a method for flavor - enhancing processing of pet food according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. As Figure 1 and Figure 2 shown, the pet food processed food 1 includes a pet food raw material 10 and a flavor - enhancing layer 20. The flavor - enhancing layer 20 adheres to the outside of the pet food raw material 10. Preferably, the flavor - enhancing layer 20 evenly wraps the outside of the pet food raw material 10.

[0032] Particularly, in the embodiments of the present application, the material of the pet food raw material 10 is not limited by the present application. The pet food raw material 10 can be implemented as traditional commercially available cat food or dog food. Those of ordinary skill in the art should know that based on the differences in pet species and individuals, they have different preferences for the pet food raw material 10 of different materials. In this regard, the pet owner can choose a suitable pet food raw material 10 to prepare the pet food processed food 1.

[0033] The pet food raw material 10 can be an extruded food, a baked food, an air - dried food, a freeze - dried food, etc. according to its preparation process. Extruded food is made by first grinding the raw materials into powder and then putting them into an extruder to be extruded and formed through a high - temperature extrusion process. No fresh meat is added during the process, and generally meat powder is added, and starch is also added to facilitate forming. Finally, oil and some nutrients are sprayed to ensure the nutritional needs of pets.

[0034] Baked food first crushes the raw materials, and under low temperature and low pressure, the raw materials are pressed into shape and slowly baked. The baking process is not affected by high temperature, generally no starch is added, and the nutrition of the raw materials is basically not lost.

[0035] Air-dried pet food is made by simulating the natural environment and drying the food through a drying process. After slicing the raw materials, they are dried at a certain temperature. It is mainly made of fresh meat, and the temperature is not too high, so the nutrients in the ingredients themselves are basically not lost. Generally, air-dried pet food is made by drying fresh meat to improve palatability.

[0036] Freeze-dried pet food is processed by low-temperature freezing and vacuum drying of raw materials. Freeze-drying generally includes three main processes: pre-freezing, sublimation drying, and desorption drying. Among them, sublimation and desorption drying are carried out under vacuum conditions. Freeze-drying is carried out at a low temperature and in a high-vacuum state, so it is particularly suitable for many heat-sensitive substances, such as proteins, aromatic amino acids that constitute the natural flavor of meat, and vitamins, etc., which will not denature or lose their biological activity. Some easily oxidized substances are protected, and the color, aroma, taste, and nutritional components of fresh food are retained.

[0037] The raw materials of pet food ingredient 10 can be pet foods produced by brand manufacturers including but not limited to Royal Canin, Purina, Pedigree, Pro Plan, Bil-Jac, Myfoodie, Orijen, Whiskas, Solid Gold, etc. The forms of pet food ingredient 10 include but are not limited to flakes, blocks, strips, spheres, etc., and its shapes include but are not limited to round, square, triangular, hexagonal, plum blossom-shaped, etc.

[0038] Specifically, in the embodiments of the present application, in order to solve the problem that traditional pet food often fails to meet the needs of some pets in terms of taste, the pet food processed product 1 in the embodiments of the present application adopts an optimized processing method, which is suitable for pet owners or administrators of pet management centers to prepare pet food with enhanced flavor, rich taste, and nutrition on the basis of pet food ingredient 10 by themselves.

[0039] Figure 3 It is a block diagram schematic of the pet food flavor-enhancing processing method according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the pet food flavor-enhancing processing method includes: preparing a flavor-enhancing material; bringing the flavor-enhancing material into contact with the surface of pet food ingredient 10 to form the flavor-enhancing layer 20; and curing the flavor-enhancing layer 20 so that it adheres to the surface of the pet food to obtain the pet food processed product 1.

[0040] In the step of preparing the flavor-enhancing material, more specifically, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is formed on the surface of the pet food ingredient 10 through a flavor-enhancing material and then subjected to a curing treatment. Among them, the flavor-enhancing material can be implemented as a liquid, a paste, a solid, or a gas.

[0041] In the process of preparing the flavoring material, the method for preparing the flavoring material includes, but is not limited to, forming the flavoring material by crushing flavoring raw materials and adding water to make a pulp; forming the flavoring material by crushing flavoring raw materials and adding water to extract juice; forming the flavoring material by cutting and grinding the flavoring raw materials into a powdery form or forming the flavoring material by collecting the smell of the flavoring raw materials. For example, when the flavoring raw material is meat, the flavoring material is formed by collecting the meat aroma.

[0042] The selection of the material of the flavoring raw material may include, but is not limited to, meat, vegetables, fruits or dairy products. Preferably, tendons of meat or stems and roots of vegetables need to be removed to facilitate the formation of a pulp. In one possible implementation of the crushing and pulping method, the meat is first cleaned and cut into small pieces, crushed by a meat grinding device configured in the processing equipment of the present invention, and after adding an appropriate amount of clear water, it is stirred evenly by a stirring device to form a meat pulp.

[0043] It can be understood that meat includes, but is not limited to, pork, beef, mutton, chicken, duck, goose, fish, shrimp, crab, shellfish, etc. Vegetables include, but are not limited to, pumpkin, potato, sweet potato, etc. Green leafy vegetables can be juiced and added to the meat pulp to increase the flavor. Fruits include, but are not limited to, apples, oranges, bananas, etc. Dairy products include, but are not limited to, milk powder, milk, cheese and condensed milk, etc.

[0044] Based on this, by adding the flavoring layer 20 outside the pet food raw material 10, the pet food processing method can increase the nutritional components in the pet food processed food 1, such as protein, fat, minerals, vitamins, etc. In addition, the addition of the flavoring layer 20 not only increases the flavor, but also can improve the taste of the pet food processed food 1, making it more crispy or tender, and adjusted according to the preferences of different pets.

[0045] It is worth mentioning that when the material of the flavoring raw material is selected as meat, through the crushing and adding water to make a pulp treatment, the formed flavoring material has a relatively high viscosity, which is beneficial to the coating of the flavoring material on the surface of the pet food raw material 10, so that the flavoring material can be evenly wrapped outside the pet food raw material 10. When the material of the flavoring raw material is selected as vegetables, through the crushing and pulping treatment, the formed flavoring material has a relatively low viscosity. In the process of preparing the flavoring material and the pet food raw material 10, food-grade gelatin, starch, lecithin or a combination thereof and other ingredients that help adhesion can also be selected. This increases the viscosity of the flavoring material, which is beneficial to the flavoring material being evenly wrapped outside the pet food raw material 10. In addition, the viscosity of the flavoring material can also be increased by mixing meat and vegetable flavoring raw materials.

[0046] Next, in forming the flavor-enhancing layer 20 on the surface of the pet food with the flavor-enhancing material, here, the forming method of the flavor-enhancing layer 20 may include but is not limited to spraying, soaking, brushing, stirring, vibrating or rolling.

[0047] For example, in a possible implementation, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by soaking. Specifically, by placing the pet food raw material 10 in a hollow mold, the pet food raw material 10 and the hollow mold are jointly immersed in a container storing the flavor-enhancing material. After being immersed for a predetermined time, the pet food raw material 10 and the hollow mold are taken out. At this moment, the flavor-enhancing material is evenly wrapped outside the pet food raw material 10. Finally, the excess flavor-enhancing material is collected and put back into the container, and thus the step of coating the flavor-enhancing material on the surface of the pet food raw material 10 to form the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is completed. Among them, the coating method of soaking is applicable to pet food raw materials 10 of various shapes. For example, for the bone-shaped pet food raw material 10 required by pet dogs, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be evenly coated on the pet food raw material 10 by the coating method of soaking. When the flavor-enhancing material is a liquid or a paste, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by soaking.

[0048] Also, for example, in another possible implementation, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by spraying. Specifically, the pet food raw materials 10 are neatly arranged in the positioning holes of a positioning mold, the flavor-enhancing material is filled into a spray gun, and the flavor-enhancing material is evenly sprayed onto the outer surface of the pet food raw material 10 through the spray gun to form the flavor-enhancing layer 20. It is worth mentioning that when the flavor-enhancing material is a gas, a liquid or a paste, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by spraying.

[0049] In another possible implementation, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by brushing. Specifically, the pet food raw materials 10 are neatly arranged in the positioning holes of a positioning mold, and the flavor-enhancing material is evenly brushed onto the outer surface of the pet food raw material 10 through a brush to form the flavor-enhancing layer 20. When the flavor-enhancing material is a liquid or a paste, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by brushing. Among them, the coating methods of spraying and brushing are applicable to pet food raw materials 10 of various shapes, such as round, square or long strip, etc.

[0050] For another example, in another possible implementation, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by rolling. Specifically, the pet food raw material 10 is placed into a rolling device, and the flavoring material is evenly infused into the rolling device. Through the rolling in the rolling device, the flavoring material is evenly adsorbed onto the outer surface of the pet food raw material 10 by rolling to form the flavor-enhancing layer 20. The rolling coating method has a high degree of automation and is convenient for pet owners to operate. When the flavoring material is a solid, liquid or paste, the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be coated on the pet food raw material 10 by rolling.

[0051] In addition, in the step of drying and curing the flavor-enhancing layer 20 to make it adhere to the surface of the pet food raw material 10 to obtain a processed pet food 1, here, the drying and curing treatment can be carried out by using a device such as an oven, so that the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is further cooked and fixed on the surface of the pet food raw material 10. In this regard, those skilled in the art should understand that the drying and curing treatment method of the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is not a limitation of the present invention.

[0052] In the embodiment of the present application, the temperature for drying and curing the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is set to 50°C to 80°C, and the duration is 10 to 30 minutes. This ensures that the flavor-enhancing layer 20 can be evenly fixed on the outside of the pet food raw material 10. By selecting appropriate temperature and time for drying and curing, the loss of nutrients and moisture in the processed pet food 1 can be avoided, and the processed pet food 1 can achieve the best flavor, improve the taste of the pet food, and make it more crispy or tender.

[0053] In addition, in the embodiment of the present application, preferably, the thickness of the flavor-enhancing layer 20 is 0.1 to 5 millimeters. The flavor-enhancing layer 20 with a suitable size makes the overall size of the processed pet food 1 meet the actual requirements. It can ensure a suitable ratio between the flavor-enhancing layer 20 and the pet food raw material 10, thereby ensuring that pets ingest balanced nutrition. On the other hand, an appropriate thickness of the flavor-enhancing layer 20 helps to control production costs, can meet the taste requirements of pets, and will not increase unnecessary costs due to excessive flavoring agents.

[0054] In summary, the processed pet food 1 produced by the pet food flavor-enhancing processing method has better taste and flavor compared with the traditional pet food raw material 10. It can better meet the taste requirements of pets, stimulate the sense of smell and taste of pets, thereby increasing the appetite of pets, especially having a positive effect on those picky or anorectic pets. At the same time, by adding the flavor-enhancing layer 20 outside the pet food raw material 10, the nutrient content in the processed pet food 1 can be increased, making the pet healthier.
