Abstract

The invention discloses a traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating alopecia areata and a preparation method of an oral medicine and an external tincture. The traditional Chinese medicine composition for treating alopecia areata comprises the following components: 10-15 parts of radix rehmanniae, 9-12 parts of radix paeoniae rubra, 9-12 parts of angelica sinensis, 3-6 parts of liquorice, 6-9 parts of radix angelicae, 6-9 parts of platycodon grandiflorum, 9-12 parts of fructus forsythiae, 6-9 parts of schizonepeta spike, 6-9 parts of fructus viticis and 3-6 parts of fructus xanthii. The traditional Chinese medicine composition can promote hair growth, greatly improve scalp microcirculation in an alopecia area, effectively relieve inflammation infiltration around hair follicles, further promote hair follicles in a rest period to enter a growth period, effectively shorten the time required for growth of new hair, and improve the hair growth rate. The hair regeneration rate is increased, alopecia spots are reduced or eliminated, and good news is brought to alopecia areata patients with different severity degrees such as single alopecia areata, multiple alopecia areata, even alopecia universalis and alopecia totalis, especially patients with slight itching or slight red scalp in the alopecia area edge hair loosening active period.

The traditional Chinese medicine for treating alopecia areata is mainly based on the treatment of "deficiency of liver and kidney", "deficiency of both qi and blood", "heat and dryness of blood", and "stagnant blood blocking collaterals", and there are many types of prescriptions. However, there are the following shortcomings: some prescriptions are not specifically designed for the core pathogenesis of alopecia areata such as wind-heat attacking the superficial aspect, blood deficiency and dryness, and stagnant blood blocking collaterals, and the complex or single composition leads to limited effect.

The test of therapeutic effect is as follows: 20 volunteers with symptoms of hair loss and alopecia areata were selected and randomly divided into two groups, with 10 people in each group. The drugs in Examples 1-3 and Comparative Examples 1-10 were used in the two groups, respectively. The specific test method is as follows: take the medicine 2 times a day, and apply the external tincture to the hair loss area 2-3 times a day. After one month, observe the hair condition of the volunteers, and the treatment effect evaluation standard is shown in Table 1. According to the effect evaluation, the number of people in each group is counted into the table, and the treatment effect and side effect reaction results are shown in Table 2.
