TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present application relates to an assembled structure and a protector. BACKGROUND
[0002] Conventionally, a protector that assembles two assembly members and passes a wire harness body through a space inside thereof is known. The protector is provided with a locking mechanism for holding the two assembly members in an assembled completed position. The locking mechanism holds the two assembly members in the assembled completed position by causing a first locking portion provided to one assembly member to lock with a second locking portion provided to the other assembly member. With respect to the protector, for example, disclosed in Patent Documents 1 and 2 described below.

[0007] PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED BY THE INVENTION
[0008] However, as the locking mechanism, for example, there is also the protector of the above-described Patent Document 1 that hooks a claw portion, which is a tip of the second locking portion inserted into one of the two through holes, to a flexible portion provided between the two through holes as the first locking portion, thereby causing the first locking portion to lock with the second locking portion. In this locking mechanism, the first locking portion is flexed by the claw portion while the second locking portion is inserted into the one through hole, and the flexion deformation of the first locking portion is eliminated when the claw portion is stretched from the one through hole, whereby the claw portion is disposed at a position where it can be hooked to the first locking portion. The other through hole is provided as a retreat space of the first locking portion for allowing the flexion deformation of the first locking portion. In the protector of the above-described Patent Document 1, a cover plate for preventing erroneous insertion is covered on the other through hole so that the second locking portion does not erroneously enter the other through hole. However, in the locking mechanism, there are cases where the second locking portion is also made flexible, and in this case, the flexion-deformed second locking portion can be guided by the other through hole.
[0009] Therefore, an object of the present application is to provide an assembled structure and a protector that can contribute to preventing erroneous insertion of a locking mechanism.

The protrusion portion protrudes from the normal plane in the third peripheral edge portion on the second through-hole side with respect to the first through-hole and engages the distal end of the abutting wall when the second engagement portion is inserted into the second through-hole, thereby preventing the second assembly member from floating up when the second engagement portion is inserted into the first through-hole.
[0012] The present application relates to a protector including: a housing member that houses a wire harness body from an opening; a cover member that closes the opening assembled to the housing member; and a locking mechanism that holds the housing member and the cover member in an assembled completion position by interlocking a first locking portion provided to the housing member and a second locking portion provided to the cover member, the housing member including: a normal wall provided with a normal plane orthogonal to an assembling direction of the cover member; a through-hole provided to the normal wall; a partition wall that divides the through-hole into a first through-hole and a second through-hole; and a protrusion portion that protrudes from the normal plane, a peripheral edge portion of the through-hole in the normal wall including: a first peripheral edge portion that is arranged opposite to each other at intervals on the first through-hole side with respect to the partition wall; a second peripheral edge portion that is arranged opposite to each other at intervals on the second through-hole side with respect to the partition wall; a third peripheral edge portion that is connected to the first peripheral edge portion and the partition wall; and a fourth peripheral edge portion that is arranged opposite to each other at intervals with the third peripheral edge portion and is connected to the first peripheral edge portion and the partition wall, the first through-hole being formed in a rectangular shape surrounded by the first peripheral edge portion, the partition wall, the third peripheral edge portion, and the fourth peripheral edge portion, the cover member including: a main body that closes the opening; and an abutting wall that is provided vertically to the assembling direction from the main body with a tip end abutting against the normal plane of the first peripheral edge portion in the assembled completion position, the locking mechanism using the partition wall having flexibility as the first locking portion, the second locking portion including: a locking piece that protrudes in the assembling direction with the abutting wall side as a fixed end and is inserted into the first through-hole in the assembled completion position; and a locking claw that is provided to a free end of the locking piece that protrudes from the first through-hole in the assembled completion position and is hooked and locked to the first locking portion in the assembled completion position, the protrusion portion protruding from the normal plane in the third peripheral edge portion on the second through-hole side from the first through-hole, the protrusion portion locking the tip end of the abutting wall when the second locking portion is inserted into the second through-hole, the cover member floating up more than when the second locking portion is inserted into the first through-hole.
[0013] Inventive Effects
[0014] The protector (assembly structure) of the present invention, even if the second locking part is mistakenly inserted into an adjacent, incorrect second through hole of the first through hole, can cause the cover part (second assembly part) to float up through the protrusion of the receiving part (first assembly part), thereby making the operator aware of the incorrect insertion of the second locking part. Thus, the protector (assembly structure) of the present invention helps to suppress the incorrect insertion of the locking mechanism, and even if the second locking part is mistakenly inserted, it can guide the operator to re-insert the second locking part into the correct first through hole. Therefore, the protector (assembly structure) of the present invention can assemble the receiving part (first assembly part) and the cover part (second assembly part) in the correct position. [0049] Hereinafter, embodiments of the assembly structure and protector of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to these embodiments.
[0050] [Example]
[0051] based on Figures 1 to 7 This describes one embodiment of the assembly structure and protector of the present invention.
[0052] Figures 1 to 4 Reference numeral 1 in the accompanying drawings indicates the assembly structure of this embodiment. The assembly structure 1 includes: a first assembly component 10; a second assembly component 20 assembled to the first assembly component 10; and a locking mechanism 30 that holds the first assembly component 10 and the second assembly component 20 in the assembled position.Figures 1 to 4 As an assembly structure 1, for example, a protector 1A can be provided that houses a portion of the wire harness body (not shown) indoors and protects it from the surrounding environment. Figures 1 to 4 The protector 1A includes: a receiving member 10A as a first assembly member 10, which receives the main body of the wire harness through an opening 10a; and a cover member 20A as a second assembly member 20, which is assembled to the receiving member 10A to close the opening 10a. Figures 1 to 4 Furthermore, the protector 1A includes a locking mechanism 30A that holds the receiving component 10A and the cover component 20A in the assembled position. Figures 1 to 4 ).
[0053] The receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10) has an orthogonal wall 11, which is provided with an orthogonal plane 11a orthogonal to the assembly direction of the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20). Figures 1 to 4 Furthermore, the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10) has: a through hole 12 disposed on the orthogonal wall 11; a partition wall 13 dividing the through hole 12 into a first through hole 12a and a second through hole 12b; and a protrusion 14 protruding from the orthogonal plane 11a of the orthogonal wall 11. Figures 1 to 4 The partition wall 13 is formed into a flexible straight shape that can flex and deform toward the first through hole 12a side and the second through hole 12b side.
[0054] For example, housing component 10A has a bottom wall 15 and a pair of side walls 16 forming a housing chamber 10b along the wiring path of the wire harness body. Figure 5 The pair of sidewalls 16 are cantilevered walls that are spaced apart from each other and vertically arranged from the bottom wall 15. In the receiving member 10A, the free ends of the pair of sidewalls 16 form an opening 10a of the receiving chamber 10b. In the receiving member 10A, an orthogonal wall 11 having an orthogonal plane 11a orthogonal to the vertical direction of the sidewalls 16 is provided in a manner connected to the free end of one of the sidewalls 16. Figure 5 ).
[0055] The peripheral portion 17 of the through hole 12 in the orthogonal wall 11 has: a first peripheral portion 17a, which is disposed opposite to the spacer wall 13 at a distance from the first through hole 12a side; a second peripheral portion 17b, which is disposed opposite to the spacer wall 13 at a distance from the second through hole 12b side; a third peripheral portion 17c, which is connected to the first peripheral portion 17a and the spacer wall 13; and a fourth peripheral portion 17d, which is disposed opposite to the third peripheral portion 17c at a distance from the first peripheral portion 17a and connected to the first peripheral portion 17a and the spacer wall 13. Figures 1 to 4 ).
[0056] In the orthogonal wall 11, the first peripheral portion 17a and the second peripheral portion 17b are formed into a straight line shape parallel to the straight-shaped partition wall 13. Figure 4 Furthermore, in this orthogonal wall 11, the third peripheral portion 17c and the fourth peripheral portion 17d are formed in a straight line shape in a manner orthogonal to the first peripheral portion 17a, the second peripheral portion 17b and the spacer wall 13. Figure 4 Therefore, the first through hole 12a is formed into a rectangular shape surrounded by the first peripheral portion 17a, the partition wall 13, the third peripheral portion 17c, and the fourth peripheral portion 17d.
[0057] Additionally, the third peripheral portion 17c shown here is provided at the free end of one sidewall 16 of the receiving member 10A. Furthermore, the peripheral portion 17 of the through hole 12 shown here has a fifth peripheral portion 17e, which obliquely connects the second peripheral portion 17b and the fourth peripheral portion 17d. Figure 1 , Figure 2 and Figure 4 ).
[0058] The cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) has: a main body 21; and an abutment wall 22, which is arranged perpendicularly from the main body 21 in the assembly direction relative to the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10), such that its end abuts against the orthogonal plane 11a of the first peripheral portion 17a at the assembled position with the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10). Figures 1 to 4 In the cover member 20A, the opening 10a of the receiving member 10A is blocked by the main body 21.
[0059] The main body 21 has a flat plate portion 21a that is parallel to the orthogonal wall 11 at least around the periphery of the orthogonal wall 11 when in the assembled position. Figures 1 to 4 The abutment wall 22 protrudes from the flat plate portion 21a in a flat plate shape with a uniform protrusion.
[0060] The locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) is provided in the protector 1A (assembly structure 1) as one of a variety of locking mechanisms in one or more of the same type of locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) in multiple locations. This locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) includes a first locking portion 31 provided on the receiving member 10A (first assembly member 10) and a second locking portion 32 provided on the cover member 20A (second assembly member 20). Figures 1 to 4 The locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) engages with each other through the first locking part 31 and the second locking part 32, thereby holding the receiving part 10A (first assembly part 10) and the cover part 20A (second assembly part 20) in the assembled position.
[0061] The locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) uses a flexible spacer wall 13 as the first locking part 31.
[0062] The second locking portion 32 has a locking piece 32a, which protrudes towards the assembly direction of the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) with its fixed end on the side abutting the wall 22. It is inserted into the first through hole 12a at the completed assembly position of the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10) and the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20). Figures 1 to 4 The locking piece 32a is formed as a cantilever beam shape with the outer wall surface of the abutment wall 22 as the fixed end, and as a flat plate shape parallel to the abutment wall 22, protruding beyond the end of the abutment wall 22. The locking piece 32a has its free end protruding from the first through hole 12a in the assembled position.
[0063] The second locking part 32 has a locking claw 32b, which is disposed at the free end of the locking piece 32a extending from the first through hole 12a when the assembly is completed, and hooks and locks onto the first locking part 31 when the assembly is completed. Figure 1 as well as Figure 4 The locking claw 32b protrudes from the plane of the free end of the locking piece 32a.
[0064] In the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), when the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) is assembled to the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10), the second locking portion 32 is inserted from the free end of the locking piece 32a into the first through hole 12a, and the locking claw 32b at its free end causes the first locking portion 31 to flex toward the second through hole 12b. Furthermore, in the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), when the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) reaches the assembled position relative to the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10), the free end of the locking piece 32a and the locking claw 32b together extend from the first through hole 12a, and the flexural deformation of the first locking portion 31 is eliminated. Thus, in the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), when the second locking portion 32 extends from the first through hole 12a, the locking claw 32b hooks onto the first locking portion 31. Therefore, the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) is able to hold the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10) and the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) in the assembled position.
[0065] Here, in the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), a second through hole 12b is provided adjacent to the first through hole 12a to allow the first locking part 31 to flex and deform as the second locking part 32 is inserted into the first through hole 12a. Therefore, in the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), there is a possibility that the second locking part 32 may be mistakenly inserted into the second through hole 12b. The protrusion 14 is provided to suppress the mistaken insertion of the second locking part 32.
[0066] The protrusion 14 protrudes from the orthogonal plane 11a in the third peripheral portion 17c, which is closer to the second through hole 12b than the first through hole 12a. Figures 1 to 4 When the second locking part 32 is inserted into the second through hole 12b, the protrusion 14 will lock against the end of the wall 22, causing the cover part 20A (second assembly part 20) to float up compared to when the second locking part 32 is inserted into the first through hole 12a. Figure 6 and Figure 7 Therefore, the protrusion 14 protrudes from the portion adjacent to the partition wall 13 to the portion located at the periphery of the second through hole 12b in the orthogonal plane 11a of the third peripheral portion 17c.
[0067] For example, when assembling the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) into the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10), the operator can visually confirm the lifting of the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20), thereby detecting the situation where the second locking part 32 in the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30) is incorrectly inserted into the second through hole 12b. Therefore, the protrusion 14 protrudes to a height at which the lifting of the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20) can be visually confirmed when the end of the abutment wall 22 is locked. For example, the protrusion 14 protrudes to a height at which a large gap is created between the orthogonal plane 11a of the orthogonal wall 11 of the receiving component 10A (first assembly component 10) and the cover component 20A (second assembly component 20).
[0068] Furthermore, when the second locking portion 32 is mistakenly inserted, it is positioned in the second through hole 12b with a gap relative to the periphery (spacer wall 13, second periphery 17b, third periphery 17c, and fourth periphery 17d). Therefore, the protrusion 14 and the abutment wall 22 need to be adjusted in shape and position so that they can lock into each other regardless of where the second locking portion 32 is inserted into the second through hole 12b. Therefore, the protrusion 14 extends along the third periphery 17c so that the end of the abutment wall 22 is locked regardless of where the second locking portion 32 is inserted into the second through hole 12b. And the abutment wall 22 extends along the main body 21 so that the end of the second locking portion 32 is locked into the protrusion 14 regardless of where the second locking portion 32 is inserted into the second through hole 12b.
[0069] As shown above, even if the second locking part 32 is inserted into an incorrect second through hole 12b adjacent to the first through hole 12a, the protector 1A (assembly structure 1) of this embodiment can lift the cover part 20A (second assembly part 20) by the protrusion 14 of the receiving part 10A (first assembly part 10), thereby making the operator aware of the incorrect insertion of the second locking part 32. Thus, the protector 1A (assembly structure 1) of this embodiment helps to suppress the incorrect insertion of the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30), and even if the second locking part 32 is incorrectly inserted, it can guide the operator to reinsert the second locking part 32 into the correct first through hole 12a. Therefore, the protector 1A (assembly structure 1) of this embodiment can assemble the receiving part 10A (first assembly part 10) and the cover part 20A (second assembly part 20) into the correct position. In addition, the protector 1A (assembly structure 1) of this embodiment can make the operator aware of the situation during the process of the second locking part 32 being mistakenly inserted, so as to avoid the situation of the second locking part 32 being continuously pressed into the wrong second through hole 12b, and can suppress the reduction of the durability of the locking mechanism 30A (locking mechanism 30).
