Abstract

This invention relates to the field of engine technology, providing a horizontally opposed two-cylinder integrated engine, a range extender assembly, and a vehicle. The horizontally opposed two-cylinder integrated engine includes two cylinders positioned opposite each other on either side of a crankshaft, with the piston centerlines of the two cylinders parallel and coplanar. The cylinder block and cylinder head of each cylinder are integrally formed. The cylinder blocks of the two cylinders are connected as a whole by bolts. This invention adopts a two-cylinder structure, solving the problems of large size and complex structure of existing horizontally opposed engines with multiple cylinders, facilitating the miniaturization and weight reduction of the powertrain. Moreover, the integrally formed cylinder block and cylinder head eliminate the need for separate cylinder head assembly, avoiding the installation errors accumulated from multiple positioning in separate structures, while also reducing the number of sealing joint surfaces, improving airtightness and structural reliability.
