Abstract
This invention discloses a method for rapidly adjusting the furnace conditions of a lean-burn electric arc furnace, belonging to the field of pyrometallurgical nickel smelting technology. The method includes: measuring the height of the frozen layer inside the lean-burn electric arc furnace; when the frozen layer height is greater than 650 mm, simultaneously implementing coordinated control operations to reduce the slag oxidation depth (making the converter slag magnetic iron content <25%) and increase the reducing agent addition rate of the lean-burn electric arc furnace; after adjustment, measuring again, if the frozen layer height is less than 600 mm, restoring to normal process parameters; otherwise, repeating the adjustment until the target is met. This invention establishes a rapid response and upstream-downstream coordination mechanism based on the frozen layer as a criterion, which can effectively reduce the magnetic iron content in the slag, quickly eliminate excessively thick frozen layers, significantly improve slag fluidity, and ensure the stable and efficient operation of the lean-burn electric arc furnace system.
