AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing gaskets are prone to misalignment and deformation during valve core rotation, leading to leakage. Furthermore, the peel strength between the rubber and the wear-resistant diaphragm is insufficient, affecting the service life of the switching valve.

Method used

A composite layer material is used to prepare the sealing gasket, which includes a wear-resistant diaphragm, a base adhesive pre-layer, a top adhesive pre-layer, and a rubber elastic pre-body. By controlling the coating thickness and material selection of the base adhesive and top adhesive, the peel strength is improved.

Benefits of technology

It improves the peel strength of the gasket, reduces the rotational resistance of the valve core, and extends the service life of the switching valve.

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of thermal management system technology, and more particularly to a sealing gasket for a coolant flow path switching valve. The sealing gasket is obtained by vulcanizing a composite layer material. The composite layer material includes: a wear-resistant diaphragm; a primer pre-layer formed on the upper surface of the wear-resistant diaphragm; a top adhesive pre-layer formed on the upper surface of the primer pre-layer; and a rubber elastic pre-formed body formed on the upper surface of the top adhesive pre-layer. The primer pre-layer is obtained by curing a primer solution. The primer solution includes a primer adhesive and a primer solvent. The primer adhesive is selected from at least one of ThinkBond11H, ThinkBond11HS, and ThinkBond10. The thickness of the primer pre-layer is 0.003–0.015 mm. The sealing gasket provided by this invention has superior peel strength.
