A specific embodiment of the method comprises the following steps: determining whether a power battery of a vehicle is in a thermal runaway state according to a battery parameter of the power battery and a vehicle image collected by a vehicle-mounted camera; in the case where it is determined that the power battery is in a thermal runaway state, controlling a radar arranged on a power battery guard to scan a region near the power battery; in the case where no obstacle is detected in the region near the power battery, disconnecting a power supply circuit of the power battery and switching to a power supply circuit of a backup battery; cutting off a connection harness of the power battery and the vehicle, and ejecting the power battery to the ground, so that the power battery is separated from the vehicle body; and acquiring road condition information through the vehicle-mounted camera and the vehicle-mounted radar, and controlling the vehicle to drive to an emergency parking point. The embodiment can actively prevent and realize vehicle safety, and effectively reduce vehicle loss.
