Abstract

This utility model relates to the technical field of automobile manufacturing, and more specifically, to an end effector switching device, comprising a base, a control system, a drive mechanism, and a traveling bracket for mounting a single end effector. Both the drive mechanism and the traveling bracket are provided in at least two sets. The drive mechanism and the traveling bracket are communicatively connected to the control system. The drive mechanism is mounted on the base, and its output end is connected to the traveling bracket. Each set of drive mechanisms independently drives the traveling bracket to move laterally along the base. In this utility model, at least two different sets of traveling brackets are independently driven by different drive mechanisms, and the movements of the traveling brackets do not interfere with each other. During end effector switching, they can be staggered to avoid collisions between the end effectors.
