Abstract

The disclosure relates to a box (300) for transporting and storing equipment comprising an inner frame (100) substantially corresponding to a cuboid frame, wherein the inner frame (100) defines an interior (101) of the box (300); a bottom panel (250) disposed on the outside of the inner frame (100); a top panel (210) disposed on the outside of the inner frame (100) on a face of the inner frame (100) opposite the bottom panel (250); at least two side panels (220, 230, 240) disposed on the outside of the inner frame (100); and at least one detachable side panel (260) configured to be releasably secured to a face of the inner frame (100). Upon removal of said detachable side panel (260) from the box (300), an opening (102) in the inner frame (100) is accessible between the exterior environment (103) and the interior of the box (101).Once the removable side panel (260) is secured to the inner frame (100), a hermetic seal is formed between said removable side panel (260) and the inner frame (100), thereby closing said opening (102) in the inner frame (100).
