METHOD OF SETTING ACCESS TO A DATA CONNECTION FROM AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE

Abstract

A method implemented by an electronic processor for monitoring and limiting access to a data connection by an electronic device, the electronic device comprising means for selectively activating / deactivating the data connection, comprising the steps of: a) detecting the start and end times of each data connection access during a predetermined time interval; b) progressively measuring the total duration of data connection accesses during said predetermined time interval; and c) if the total duration of data connection accesses reaches a value equal to a predetermined maximum duration value before the end of said predetermined time interval, activating said means.
