Abstract

This invention includes a stump grinder used as an attachment for an excavator or other digging machine or a forestry harvester for grinding stumps of felled trees at ground level. The stump grinder includes interconnected and interacting assemblies including a hydraulic motor assembly on the implement side of the machine including a hydraulic motor housing, a hydraulic system necessary for controlling the hydraulic motor mounted on the hydraulic motor housing, a gearbox connected to the hydraulic motor and attached to the gearbox housing, a flange attached to the lower end of which is attached to which a stump grinder blade holder is attached together with stump grinder blades.
