Abstract

The subject of the solution is a device (7) for diagnosing a bearing placed on a linear bearing (1) and a method for diagnosing it. The linear bearing (1) includes a housing (2) with a chamber (5) with rolling elements (6) and a lid (4) for closing the chamber (5). The device (7) for diagnosing bearings includes a circuit containing at least one measuring loop (9). The circuit further includes a power supply (8) for supplying energy to the measuring loop (9) and the measuring loop (9) includes at least one sensor (10) for interrupting the measuring loop (9). The device (7) for diagnosing bearings further includes an output device (11) for signaling an interrupting the measuring loop (9). The output device (11) is connected to the sensor (10) for interrupting the measuring loop (9), with at least one measuring loop (9) being guided through the housing (2) and through the lid (4).
