Description

The invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.WO 2006 / 070606 describes a grinding device with a pivotable and removable handle. The handle is connected to the grinding plate by means of a clip connection. The abrasive paper carrier, on the other hand, is constrained to the abrasive plate by means of latching means, wherein in a latching position a latching nose formed by the abrasive paper carrier engages in a latching recess formed by the abrasive plate.U.S. Pat. No. 4,885,876 A describes a grinding device with a handle that can be pivoted with respect to a base plate. The handle is secured to the grinding plate by means of latching means, wherein in a latching position a latching nose formed by the grinding plate engages in a latching recess formed by the handle body. An undesired displacement of the latching means out of their latching position is blocked by a slide which can be displaced in the horizontal direction.WO 2006 / 105637 A1 describes a grinding device with a handle and grinding bodies of different shapes, which can be clipped to one another in a kit-like manner.U.S. Pat. No. 6,296,558 B1 describes a multi-part grinding tool in which the handle part and the grinding body are connected to one another.US 4,779,385 describes a sander having a U-shaped handle.U.S. Pat. No. 5,007,206 describes a hand grinder in which dust extraction is to take place through the handle.Hand grinders with a handle and suction devices integrated in the handle are also described in U.S. Pat. No. 5,245,797 and U.S. Pat. No. 5,283,988.DE 199 33 887 A1 describes a hand grinder with a grinding pad and a grinding pad arranged underneath.A box-shaped grinding device with an integrated suction chamber is described in DE 297 06 298 U1.Starting from a grinding tool of the generic type, as disclosed in the aforementioned WO 2006 / 070606 and WO 2006 / 105637 A1, the invention is based on the object of developing the assignment of the handle to the grinding plate in a manner advantageous for use.According to the invention, a swivel latch is provided for locking a latching tab in a latching position with respect to a latching nose engaging in a latching recess. The base of a grinding paper carrier which forms a suction plate can be a materially uniform component of a trough forming side walls, wherein the side walls each form a step which is directed in the direction of the interior of the suction chamber, so that the edge of the cover rests thereon. The suction plate is preferably detachably fastened to the cover, so that the cover can form the grinding plate. For this purpose, a rubber plate is located below the cover, on which the grinding paper can rest if only the grinding plate forming the cover is to be used as a grinding device. This basic tool, which can preferably be combined with various types of handles, can be converted by simple means into a grinding device with a suction chamber. For this purpose, the suction plate, which is designed as a plastic trough, must be placed under the grinding plate. Between the bottom of the trough and the grinding plate there is a clearance space which forms the suction chamber. The suction opening is preferably located on a narrow longitudinal side. The suction plate also carries on its underside a rubber plate on which the abrasive paper rests. The abrasive paper is attached by clamping jaws to the abrasive plate forming the cover of the suction chamber. The abrasive paper, which spans the suction plate, holds the suction plate on the abrasive plate. In order to hold the grinding plate securely on the suction plate even when the grinding paper is removed, holding clips are provided. These are fastened to the suction plate and can be clipped over the edge of the grinding plate. The handle forms a fastening base which extends between two connection points. The fastening base can also be designed as a bracket, so that the two bracket ends are connected to the upper side of the grinding plate at the two fastening points. In a further embodiment of the handle, it is provided that it carries an in particular gimbal-mounted connection piece for a handle. One end of the mounting base may form a plug-in end that is inserted into a plug-in shaft on the top side of the grinding plate. The end opposite this insertion end can be connected to a latch on the grinding plate. The latch is preferably a swivel latch which blocks a latching tab in a latching position. The lateral dust suction opening can be connected to a suction nozzle which can be connected to a dust suction device by means of a connecting sleeve. The bottom of the suction chamber has a plurality of suction openings distributed substantially uniformly over the bottom surface. These suction openings are aligned with suction openings of the rubber plate which is located below the suction plate. The invention is explained below with reference to exemplary embodiments. The grinding plate 2 consists of a rectangular base plate with a reinforced longitudinal edge made of plastic. On the underside of the plastic plate there is a soft rubber plate 43. the soft rubber plate 43 extends over the entire underside of the grinding plate 2 and serves as a soft support for a grinding paper which can be tensioned under the rubber plate 43.The abrasive paper, not shown, can be constrained by means of two Klamm jaws 13. The clamping jaws 13 are held by two clamping jaw carriers 17 each. The clamping jaw carriers 17 are materially uniform extensions of the grinding plate 2 and protrude to the upper side. At their ends, bearing axles 18 are provided about which the clamping jaw 13 is pivotable. By means of a clamping jaw spring 19 formed by a leg spring, the clamping jaws 13 are held in the clamping position. In each case, connecting points 25, 29 for restraining a handle 10' or an actuating handle 10 are located in the vicinity of the clamping jaws 13, and a first fastening point is formed by a U-shaped insertion shaft 25, into which the insertion end 26 of the handle 10 or of the handle 10' can be inserted. The other fastening point is formed by a restraining projection 29 which can be inserted into an insertion opening 30 of the handle 10 or of the handle 10'. Projecting from the restraining projection 29 is a latching nose 36 which can enter a latching recess 39 of a latching tab 37 of the handle 10 or of the handle 10'. In front of the locking tab 37 there is a swivel latch 27, the swivel latch 27 being fastened by a rotation axis 38 to fastening blocks of the grinding plate 2. On its broad side pointing toward the restraining projection 29, the swivel latch 27 has a holding projection 32 which, in the locking position, is inserted in a holding recess 31 of a restraining projection 28 of the handle 10 or of the handle 10'. In its locking position, the swivel latch 27 blocks a displacement of the latching tab 37 from the latching position with respect to the latching nose 36.In the region of the restraining extension 28, which is formed by a bow leg in the handle 10', there are latching projections 40 pointing towards one another. The swivel latch 27 has associated latching shoulders 41, which in the locking position lie behind the latching projections 40. The latching shoulders 41 are clipped in there. In the locking position, the swivel latch 27 rests in planar contact on a side outer wall of the restraining extension 28. If the swivel latch 27 is swiveled away from this contact position, wherein the latching shoulders 41 must overcome the latching projections 40, a release position is reached. In this release position, the retaining projection 32 no longer lies in planar contact with the outer wall of the retaining recess 31. the latching tab 37 can now escape laterally, so that the latching nose 36 can emerge from the latching recess 39. The side of the handle 10 or of the handle 10' forming the restraining extension 28 can now be pulled off from the restraining projection 29. Subsequently, the insertion end 26 can be pulled out of the insertion shaft 25.The handle 10 has ball bearing blocks 34 approximately in the middle between the restraining extension 28 and the insertion end 26, between which blocks a cardan joint in the form of a bearing ball 33 is rotatably clamped. A connecting piece 35 for a shaft is fastened to the bearing ball 33.The handle 10 can be replaced by a handle 10' which has a bow-like shape. One bow end of the handle 10' forms the insertion end 26 and the other bow end forms the insertion opening 30, which can be plugged onto the restraining projection 29.A suction plate 1 can be clamped under the soft rubber plate 43 of the grinding plate 2. The suction plate 1 is in the form of a trough. It has a bottom 8 which has a plurality of substantially uniformly distributed suction openings 9. The bottom 8 is surrounded all around by side walls 4, 5, 6, 7. A longitudinal side wall 4 forms a dust extraction opening 14 which is connected to an extraction nozzle 15 which carries a connecting sleeve 16 at its end. A step 11 extends parallel to each of the four side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 approximately halfway along the height thereof. the step 11 lies on the side of the side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 facing the suction chamber 3.Approximately centrally, the longitudinal side walls 4, 5 have recesses in which retaining clips 20 are mounted so as to be pivotable about stub shafts 21. The retaining clips 20 form hook ends 23 which can be hooked over the edge reinforcements of the grinding plate 2 in order to firmly fasten the grinding plate 2 to the suction plate 1. In order to bring the retaining clips 20 into this latching position or to release them from the latching position, the retaining clips 20 have actuating tongues 24.On the underside of the suction plate 1 there is likewise a rubber plate 42 for placement on a strip of abrasive paper, the ends of which are held by the clamping jaws 13.The apparatus for grinding gypsum board walls is thus suitable for use as a grinding device with and without suction plate 1. The grinding plate 2 can optionally be combined with different handles 10', 10.The grinding tool consisting of a plurality of individual parts which can be combined with one another also includes, in addition, the rasp tool illustrated in FIGS. 11 and 12. This rasping tool 46, 47 can be combined optionally with the handle 10 or the handle 10'. The rasp tool comprises a rasp housing 46 made of plastic, which forms the insertion shaft 25 and the restraining projection 29 as well as the swivel latch 27, and a rasp plate 47 which is connected to the underside of the rasp housing 46. In the region of the insertion shaft 25 a cap 44 is also provided here, which when combined with a handle 10' lies in a rearward free space of the handle grip. To the grinding device illustrated in the exemplary embodiment, other grinding tools can be combined, for example, in order to grind inner angles or in order to grind rounded portions. In terms of construction, these additional grinding devices are similar to the rasp shown in FIGS. 11 and 12. The rasp plate 47 then has different grinding profiles, however.FIGS. 13 to 15 show a second exemplary embodiment which has a differently configured pivot latch 27 compared with the first exemplary embodiment. The swivel latch 27 now has at its free end an obliquely protruding grip tongue 48, The restraining extension 28 has a shaft-shaped recess 49 adapted to the grip tongue 48, in which recess the grip tongue 48 is located in the locking position. It can be seen from FIG. 13 that a section of the grip tongue 48 protrudes beyond the rear wall of the restraining extension 28. The user can grip this portion of the grip zone 48 with his fingers in order to lift the grip tongue 48 so that the latching shoulders 41 leave their position rearward of the latching projections 40. From the locking position shown in FIG. 13, the swivel latch 27 is brought into the open position shown in FIG. 14 by this actuation. In this position, as shown in FIG. 15, the mounting base 45 can be raised and separated from the grinding plate 2. Instead of the handle 10 formed with the connecting piece 35, a handle 10', as shown in FIG. 16, can then be placed on the grinding plate 2. The handle 10' shown in FIG. 16 in combination with a rail 41 has a recess 56 into which the gripping zone 48 projects so that its surface runs flush with the surface of the handle strap.FIG. 16 shows a ruler as a further combination part which can be combined with the handle 10'.
