Description

[0001] The invention relates to a holder for an item of equipment that can be carried on board vehicles, in particular motor vehicles. The holder consists of a holding part for the equipment that can be attached to the vehicle and a holding bracket that is pivotally connected to this holding part.

[0002] Motor vehicles must always carry equipment such as a first-aid kit, e.g., tools, spare parts, fire extinguishers, tire sealing systems, etc., in accordance with motor vehicle licensing regulations or for other reasons. These items should be stored as compactly as possible, but also as securely as possible, e.g., in the event of shocks or accidents. They should also be easily accessible and, if necessary, easily removable and reused.

[0003] Such holders are known. For example, DE 23 25 248 C2 shows a holder for a fire extinguisher consisting of a tub-shaped plastic receptacle with a hinged retaining bracket for securing the fire extinguisher and a clamping bracket that interacts with the clamping bracket. The clamping brackets are connected via a locking lever hinged to their free ends. The locking lever, made of plastic, is equipped with a leaf spring to secure this locking device; the retaining bracket and locking lever are made of spring steel.

[0004] DE 20 2011 000 400 U1 discloses the subject matter of the preamble of claim 1.

[0005] The invention is based on the object of creating a holder for equipment in vehicles, in particular in motor vehicles, which is of very simple and cost-effective construction and is intended to ensure space-saving and secure fastening with easy and quick removal and correspondingly easy and quick reinsertion.

[0006] This object is achieved according to claim 1.

[0007] In a preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, the holding part has a substantially trough-shaped receptacle partially enclosing an item of equipment, wherein the holding bracket with the hook cooperating with it is shaped so as to be fixable and enclose the item of equipment inserted into the receptacle.

[0008] The holding part with its trough-shaped holder can be designed as a lightweight component with cavities and supporting walls of largely uniform wall thickness.

[0009] The hook molded onto the holding part is L-shaped with a short L-shaped leg extending outward. The retaining bracket, molded onto the holding part via a film hinge, is frame-like with a central opening and features a substantially U-shaped locking hook at its free end. The opening of the U-shaped locking hook engages around the short L-shaped leg, preferably securing the inserted piece of equipment in the tub-shaped receptacle on the hook.

[0010] Features and advantages of the invention are explained in more detail in the following example description with reference to the drawing.

[0011] It shows: Fig. 1 a holder according to the invention with an item of equipment inserted; Fig. 2 a holder according to the invention with the retaining bracket opened and swung away for removal of the equipment item; Fig. 3 a section through a holder according to the invention with an item of equipment inserted into the holder; and Fig. 4 the subject matter of the invention (holder) in a further view according to Fig. 2.

[0012] With 1, the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 denotes a holder for a piece of equipment 2. In the exemplary embodiment, the piece of equipment is a tire sealing system. The holder 1 consists of a holding part 11, which can be secured to a part of the vehicle F, e.g., in the trunk, using screws, clips, or similar means.

[0013] In the exemplary embodiment, the holding part 11 is designed as a lightweight component (see Fig.3) with cavities 12 and a plurality of supporting walls 13.1, 13.2, 13.3, 13.4, 13.5 with largely uniform wall thickness, forming an approximately trough-shaped receptacle A. A retaining bracket 3, which is largely elastic due to its shape and choice of material, is integrally formed on the retaining part 11, which can be made of plastic. The retaining part 11, with its trough-shaped receptacle A, together with the retaining bracket 3, which grips the piece of equipment 2 and secures it, forms a holder with a high degree of security and easy, quick operation.

[0014] The connection between the retaining bracket 3 and the holding part 11 is formed by a so-called film hinge 31. The retaining bracket 3 is frame-like with a central opening 32 and with walls 33.1, 33.2, 33.3, and 33.4 of essentially the same thickness and width in order to achieve high holding force while maintaining elasticity.

[0015] The free end of the retaining bracket 3 is provided with a U-shaped locking hook 34, which cooperates with a suspension hook 14 integrally formed on the holding part 11 to secure the equipment item 2. The suspension hook 14 is essentially L-shaped, with the short L-leg 15 (base leg of the L) projecting outward. To secure the equipment item 2 in a secure position, the retaining bracket 3 is locked to the suspension hook 14 of the holding part 11 by means of its locking hook 34, which elastically engages the L-leg 15.

[0016] For the expert it is self-evident that in order to solve the task at hand the retaining bracket 3 as well as the locking hook 34 and the suspension hook 14 can be designed differently.
