Description

[0001] The invention relates to a sensor arrangement for an electric motor.

[0002] It is well known that an angle sensor used to detect the position of a shaft must support the torque.

[0003] From DE 10 2008 059 092 A1 an electric motor with an angle sensor is known, wherein a support part is provided as a torque support for the angle sensor, which support part is manufactured as a stamped and bent part and has a bent tab.

[0004] An electric motor with a multi-layer fan cover is known from DE 10 2009 024 690 A1.

[0005] From the subsequently published DE 10 2012 024 811 A1, an electric motor with a fan cover and sensor is known, wherein a torque support is also provided, which is designed as a stamped and bent part and has tab sections.

[0006] The invention is therefore based on the object of developing a sensor arrangement for an electric motor, wherein the torque is to be supported and an overall robust arrangement is to be achieved.

[0007] According to the invention, the object is achieved in the sensor arrangement for an electric motor according to the features specified in claim 1.

[0008] The advantage here is that axial vibrations can be dampened using the damping element. This damping element is preferably made of a material that provides high damping for mechanical vibrations. In contrast, the torque support element dampens such axial vibrations only slightly, as it is constructed of sheet metal and operates in the elastic range.

[0009] According to the invention, the ring section and the housing part are axially spaced apart. This is advantageous because the damping part can be interposed, thus allowing the transmission characteristic to be modified accordingly, particularly the damping component of the transmission characteristic.

[0010] According to the invention, the damping part is positively connected to the ring section, in particular by clipping. This is advantageous because a simple connection technique can be used. The damping part therefore only needs to be designed with a thickening bead and is thus secured after passing through a recess in the torque support part, as the bead, which is compressed during passage, expands after passing through.

[0011] According to the invention, the first tab section of the torque support part is bent in such a way that the torsional stiffness is higher than the stiffness of the torque support part in the axial direction. This has the advantage that the torque support function can be performed very precisely, since the torsional stiffness is very high during torque dissipation.

[0012] According to the invention, at least one nut is integrally connected to the second tab section, so that a screw can be passed through one of the grille openings of the fan cover and screw-connected to the nut, in particular with the fan cover grille being arranged between the screw head of the screw and the nut. This is advantageous because a simple, positive connection to the fan cover can be achieved.

[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, the first tab section is arranged in a curved manner such that the damping part presses against the housing part, in particular, a preload is present in the torque support part. Advantageously, the damping part is pressed against the housing part by the preloaded torque support part.

[0014] In an advantageous embodiment, the torque support part is made of metal and the damping part is made of an elastomer,

[0015] In particular, the damping of mechanical vibrations in the damping section is at least ten times greater than in the torque support section. The advantage here is that axial vibrations can be damped. In particular, the shock waves propagating in the axial direction that occur when an electromagnetic brake is applied, which slows down the motor rotor, can be effectively damped.

[0016] In an advantageous embodiment, the axial region covered by the damping part overlaps, in particular encompasses, the axial region covered by the first tab section. Advantageously, the damping part provides a second path for vibrations propagating in the axial direction, which, however, provides a high degree of damping.

[0017] According to the invention, the axial region covered by the second tab section is axially spaced from the axial region covered by the first tab section. Advantageously, the first tab section is bent from the ring section in the opposite direction to the second tab section.

[0018] Further advantages arise from the subclaims.

[0019] The invention will now be explained in more detail with the aid of illustrations: In the Fig. 1 shows an inventive sensor arrangement for an electric motor in an oblique view. In the Fig. 2 shows a corresponding top view.

[0020] As shown in the figures, the sensor for detecting the angular position of the rotor of an electric motor has a rotor shaft 5, which is mounted in a housing part 2 of the angle sensor. The housing part 2 also encloses the sensor's electronic components. An electrical connection device is also provided on the housing part 2.

[0021] A torque support part 7 is screwed onto the side of the sensor facing the motor. For this purpose, screws are guided through respective recesses in the torque support part 7 and screwed into a respective threaded hole in the housing part 2, so that the screw head of the respective screw presses the torque support part 7 against the housing part 2. Preferably, at least two screws are provided, or four in a further development to improve stability, each of which is spaced apart from the other in the circumferential direction.

[0022] On the torque support part 7, tab sections 8 are formed, in particular connected via an S-shaped bead. Nuts 4 having an internal thread are arranged on these tab sections 8 on the side of the respective tab section 8 facing the engine.

[0023] This enables a screw connection of the torque support part 7 to a fan cover of the motor arranged facing the sensor. For this purpose, the torque support part 7 is placed against the inside of the fan cover and connected from the outside with screws guided through respective grille openings, which are screwed into the nuts 4. The nuts 4 are preferably integrally connected to the respective tab sections 8, in particular welded thereto.

[0024] Further tab sections 3 are formed on the torque support part 7, in particular formed by punching, and arranged bent by approximately 180° from the base body of the torque support part 7. The base body is preferably designed in a ring shape, wherein the ring has a non-circular outer surface.

[0025] The additional tab sections 3 are bent in such a way that a high rigidity of the torque support part 7 is maintained in the circumferential direction. In the axial and radial directions, however, a much lower rigidity is present.

[0026] The torque support part 7 is manufactured as a sheet metal part, in particular as a sheet steel part, in particular as a stamped and bent part. In a preferred embodiment, the wall thickness is less than 2 mm.

[0027] If the motor has an electromagnetically actuated brake, shock loads are generated when the brake is applied. These loads also spread axially, for example. To dampen these shock loads, damping means 1 are provided which at least partially absorb shock loads acting in the axial direction. For this purpose, the damping means 1 are connected to the tab section or ring section of the torque support part 7 by being guided through a recess in the torque support part, and a bead that extends through it expands after being passed through the recess, creating a positive connection. This therefore constitutes a clip connection. At the other end region of the damping means 1, it is supported on the housing part 2. The damping means 1 are preferably dimensioned such that the bent-over further tab section 3 is prestressed.

[0028] The damping means 1 are preferably made of elastomer, such as rubber or the like.

[0029] Thus, for vibrations and shock waves directed in the axial direction, the respective curved further tab section 3 is permeable without special damping and can even be easily excited to vibrations, but the damping means 1 dampens these vibrations or shock waves.

[0030] By means of the further tab sections 3, a double-cardanic suspension of the housing part 2 on the motor housing, in particular on the fan cover, is achieved.

[0031] The damping achievable by the damping means 1 is at least five times, in particular ten times, stronger than without the use of the damping means.

[0032] Thus, the torque support part 7 is at least ten times more torsionally rigid than the stiffness in the axial direction.

[0033] In a further embodiment of the invention, the grille openings of the motor fan shroud are regularly spaced from one another. Thus, the nuts 4 are preferably spaced from one another by an integer multiple of the grille spacing.
