Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a motor vehicle, in particular the headrest of a seat for a motor vehicle, according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0002] A headrest for a motor vehicle seat is already known from DE 10 2012 004 377 A1. The headrest has a cushioned body made of foam or the like, which is covered with a cover. The headrest is an independent component that can be attached to the backrest of a vehicle seat via two column supports in a height-adjustable manner. A power supply can be fed via the column supports to an (axial) fan arranged in a cavity of the cushioned body. An intake duct is formed on a side bolster of the headrest. The fan draws air from the passenger compartment into the headrest via the intake duct. The drawn-in air is conveyed via the fan to several heating mats. The heating mats have different surface-related heating outputs. The air heated by the heating mats flows out at the front of the headrest at an upper head contact surface and at a point at the level of a person's neck.
[0003] From DE 10 2009 058 890 A1 a motor vehicle with a vehicle seat is known which has a seat cushion, a backrest and a headrest arranged on the backrest, wherein the headrest has a cushion body which is covered with a cover, wherein a fan is arranged in a hollow space of the cushion body of the headrest, wherein an electric heating device is arranged downstream of the fan in the air conveying direction, so that air heated in the air conveying direction via the heating device exits from a front side of the cushion body, wherein a through opening is formed in the cushion body of the headrest, which through opening extends from a rear side of the cushion body to a front side of the cushion body, and wherein a cavity is formed in the through opening at a distance from the rear side and at a distance from the front side of the cushion body, in which cavity at least one fan is arranged.
[0004] The object of the invention is to provide a headrest for a seat of a motor vehicle, by means of which the heating of a head and adjoining body regions of a seat occupant sitting on the motor vehicle seat is improved by outflowing and heated air.
[0005] This problem is solved by the features of claim 1.
[0006] In a motor vehicle according to the invention, a vehicle seat is provided with a seat cushion, a backrest, and a headrest arranged on the backrest. The headrest has a cushioned body covered with a cover. A fan is arranged in a cavity of the cushioned body of the headrest. An electric heating device is arranged behind the fan in the air flow direction, so that air heated by the heating device exits from a front side of the cushioned body in the air flow direction.
[0007] A through-opening is formed in the cushion body of the headrest, extending from a rear side of the cushion body to a front side of the cushion body. A cavity is formed in the through-opening, spaced apart from the rear side of the cushion body and spaced apart from the front side of the cushion body, in which at least one fan is arranged.
[0008] According to the invention, a rear, air-permeable, electrically operated heating mat is provided on the back of the cushion body to heat the drawn-in air. The preheated air is further heated by the front, air-permeable, electrically operated heating mat located on the front of the cushion body.
[0009] In an advantageous embodiment, the rear electric heating mat located on the back of the upholstery body is arranged in a rear layer structure.
[0010] The rear layer structure advantageously comprises an air-permeable, insulating layer arranged on the inside of the cover. The rear electric heating mat adjoins the air-permeable, insulating layer in the direction of the fan. A spacer fabric is attached to the rear electric heating mat, which is adjacent to the fan.
[0011] In an advantageous embodiment, the front electric heating mat located on the front side of the upholstery body is arranged in a front layer structure.
[0012] Advantageously, in the front layer structure, a spacer fabric is arranged adjacent to the fan on the front side of the upholstery body. Adjacent to the spacer fabric toward the front side is a front electric heating mat, which is arranged on the inside of the cover.
[0013] In an advantageous embodiment, the front layer structure covers the through-opening on the front side of the cushion body and the rear layer structure covers the through-opening on the back side of the cushion body.
[0014] The fan is preferably an axial fan or a radial fan.
[0015] Advantageously, a control device or a regulating device is provided by which the heating power of the respective heating mat and the flow rate of the fan and thus the temperature of the outflowing air and the outflowing air quantity can be adjusted.
[0016] In an advantageous embodiment, the cover consists of an air-permeable and / or an air-impermeable material.
[0017] The cover on the back of the upholstery body and the cover on the front of the upholstery body are advantageously provided with through openings.
[0018] An embodiment of the invention is described below by way of example with reference to a single figure. The figure shows a sectional view of a schematically illustrated headrest 3. The headrest 3 is arranged on a backrest 5 of a motor vehicle seat 2 (not shown in detail) of a motor vehicle 1.
[0019] The headrest 3 can be attached to the backrest 5 of the motor vehicle seat 2 via two height-adjustable column supports 4. The headrest 3 has a cushion body 6 made of a foam or the like.
[0020] In the embodiment shown, the cushion body 6 has a through-opening 7. A fan 9 is arranged in a cavity 10 in a central region 8 of the cushion body 6. The fan 9 can be, for example, an axial fan or a radial fan. The cavity 10 is formed within the through-opening 7.
[0021] On a rear side 12 of the cushion body 6, the through-opening 7 is covered by a layered structure 11. On the front side 13 of the cushion body 6, opposite the rear side 12, the through-opening 7 is covered by another layered structure 14. A cover 15 is arranged around the cushion body 6. The cover 15 is provided with through-openings 16, 17 on the rear side 12 and the front side 13 of the cushion body 6.
[0022] The rear layer structure 11 on the back side 12 of the upholstery body 6 has, adjacent to the cover 15, an air-permeable layer 18, which, on the one hand, allows the air 19 drawn in by the fan to pass through and, on the other hand, provides thermal insulation. The air-permeable layer 18 can be made of an open-pore material or fibers, for example. In another embodiment, air permeability is created by perforating a non-air-permeable insulation material. The air flow direction and air conveyance direction of the drawn-in air 19 are symbolically represented by arrows.
[0023] An electric heating mat 20 is arranged adjacent to the air-permeable layer 18. In the embodiment shown, the electric heating mat 20 is followed by an air-permeable spacer fabric 21. The spacer fabric 21 exhibits elastic compressibility similar to that of a foam. In another embodiment, an air-permeable foam is used instead of the spacer fabric 21.
[0024] The front layer structure 14 on the front side 13 of the upholstery body 6 has a second electrical and air-permeable or perforated heating mat 25 following the cover 15. In the embodiment shown, the second electrical and air-permeable or perforated front heating mat 25 is followed by a spacer fabric 23. In another embodiment, an air-permeable foam is used instead of the spacer fabric 23. The air flow direction and air conveyance direction of the outflowing and heated air 27 are symbolically represented by arrows.
[0025] The fan 9 and the two electric heating mats 20 and 25 are supplied with power by lines 26 which, for example, are led from a seat cable harness through the backrest 5 and the column supports 4 into the upholstery body 6.
[0026] Furthermore, in one embodiment, a control device or regulating device (not shown) is provided, by means of which the heating power of the respective heating mat and the conveying power of the fan and thus the temperature of the outflowing air and the outflowing air quantity can be adjusted.
