Abstract

Fuel cell control method comprising the steps of: calculating a quantity of water in a humidifier by subtracting an output quantity of saturated steam from a production quantity of water at a cathode of a fuel cell, and subsequently adding an output quantity of water at an anode; assessing the humidity of air in the fuel cell stack; and controlling / regulating the quantity of water in the humidifier using the humidity of the air in the fuel cell stack.
