Description

The invention relates to a sanitary tub device having a sanitary tub and a support arrangement for the sanitary tub, wherein the sanitary tub has a tub edge which is C-shaped in cross section and has a bend. The sanitary tub is preferably a shower tub. Especially in sanitary and in particular shower trays made of a layer material, a bent edge is expedient for stability reasons. Starting from an approximately horizontal region, the C-shaped trough edge first merges with a first radius into a vertical section, wherein the undercut then adjoins via a second radius. It is precisely in the case of an enameled steel sheet that there is then also the advantage that the outer edge of the corresponding sheet metal blank is drawn inward with respect to the outer periphery of the sanitary trough and is thus protected. The risk of damage during a strike is thus reduced. In shower and bathtubs made of steel enamel, a C-shaped tub edge with a bend corresponds to the usual design. The height of the pan edge along the vertical section can be, for example, 32 mm. The undercut has a length of between 5 and 15 mm, for example.Sanitary trough devices of the generic type, in which the sanitary trough has the described edge geometry and is supported on a support arrangement, are known, for example, from DE 10 2009 037 904 B3 and DE 199 61 255 A1.Whereas a pedestal is provided as a support arrangement according to DE 10 2009 037 904 B3, a trough carrier made of polyurethane foam, which is integrally foamed on, is provided as a support arrangement according to DE 199 61 255 A1.While height adaptation is still possible in a pedestal, a trough carrier formed from plastic must be placed on a planar base. With respect to DE 199 61 255 A1, the disadvantage arises that the production process is relatively complicated. In particular, different shapes for foaming out the sanitary tub must also be kept ready for different tub sizes. From practice, one-piece tub supports made of plastic, in particular rigid foam, are also known, onto which the sanitary tub is placed during assembly. Here too, the tub support must be matched exactly to the size and shape of the associated sanitary tub. This also results in a comparatively large footprint, which can be disadvantageous with regard to sound insulation. Thus, DE 92 08 770 U1 and DE 86 25 437 U1 each show a sanitary tub device with a sanitary tub and a support arrangement for the sanitary tub, wherein the support arrangement is formed by a tub support. The sanitary tub has a tub edge which is C-shaped in cross section and has a bend, wherein side walls of the tub support formed from rigid foam carry the tub edge in the form of profile strips which are directly connected to one another. For this purpose, the sanitary tub can be placed from above onto the prefabricated tub support made of rigid foam.DE 101 55 021 B4 discloses a sanitary tub device with a sanitary tub and a support arrangement for the sanitary tub, wherein the sanitary tub has a tub edge which is merely bent straight downward. Mounting blocks are glued to the underside of the rim of the tub, by means of which mounting blocks the sanitary tub is supported on a tub support.Against this background, the object of the invention is to specify a sanitary tub device which can easily be formed in different sizes and has good functional properties, the invention and the object are achieved by a sanitary tub device according to patent claim 1.Proceeding from a sanitary tub device with a sanitary tub and a support arrangement for the sanitary tub, wherein the sanitary tub has a tub edge with a bent portion which is C-shaped in cross section, it is accordingly provided according to the invention that the support arrangement comprises a plurality of profile strips which are separate from one another and which are inserted into the C-shaped tub edge and are held there in a form-fitting manner.Such profiled strips can be formed cost-effectively from plastic, in particular rigid foam, and are easy to handle. By virtue of the positively locking receptacle in the C-shaped trough edge, incorrect positioning of the profiled strips can be avoided in a particularly simple manner. The advantage also results that the profile strips are held solely by a form fit, wherein optionally also an additional fixing by means of adhesive or the like is not excluded. In many cases, however, the form-fitting fixing is already sufficient to hold the profiled strips securely. The profile strips can be formed, for example, in a casting mold made of plastic, in particular a rigid foam. In order to then form profile strips of different lengths, it is merely necessary to adapt the casting mold accordingly. For example, a long casting mold can be provided with lateral boundaries or filler pieces in order to be able to form shorter profiled strips therein.Alternatively, an extruded profile can also be produced for the formation of the profiled strips, from which extruded profile strips are then cut to the desired length. Finally, it is also possible, starting from a prefabricated rectangular profile, to cut the profile strips into the desired cross-sectional shape.Regardless of the specific type of production, the profile strips can also be subsequently shortened as required. On the one hand, the profiled strips are inserted into the C-shaped trough edge and held there in a form-fitting manner. On the other hand, the profile strips extend downwards beyond the lower edge of the sanitary trough at the bend in order to be able to support and support the sanitary trough. The profiled strips can accordingly have an L-shape, one limb of the L-shape being inserted as an upper fastening section into the C-shaped trough edge and the other limb projecting as a foot section downwards beyond the bend.In order to ensure a particularly secure and reliable fixing of the profiled strips to the C-shaped trough edge, the upper fastening section, in the non-assembled state, according to the invention, has an oversized portion with respect to a receiving space formed by the C-shaped trough edge. The upper fastening section is then compressible in such a way that the profile strips can be inserted into the receiving space of the C-shaped trough edge against resistance. Within the scope of such a configuration, the positive connection caused by the complementary cross-sectional shape is still supported by the elastic restoring forces. The sanitary tub device according to the invention is provided in particular for flat shower tubs which are to be mounted with a low overall height. The sanitary tub device can be used, for example, during modernization or rehabilitation because of its small space requirement. In view of these requirements, the foot section of the profiled strips preferably has a height of between 3 mm and 15 mm.Within the scope of the invention, the advantage results that the support on the profile strips results in a small footprint, which leads to improved sound protection properties. However, in order to achieve sufficient stabilization precisely in the central region of the sanitary tub, a central support can also be provided there. If a trough outlet is located eccentrically, such a central support can be formed, for example, by a substantially round support body. In one embodiment of the sanitary tub with a central drain, on the other hand, the central support is U-shaped in order to be able to support the region around the drain. If the profiled strips according to a preferred embodiment are formed from plastic, in particular rigid foam, a certain sound-absorbing effect is already obtained. For an improvement of the sound protection, however, it is provided according to a further development of the invention that the profile strips have inserts made of a sound-absorbing material on their foot sections, which forms the lower contact surface of the foot sections. For example, strip-shaped or cylindrical buffer elements made of a special sound protection material can be provided, which for example during the manufacturing process are co-cast into the profile strips or alternatively are to be inserted later into the profile strips. Suitable materials are known, for example, under the trade name Regupol®.Starting from a usually rectangular base surface of the sanitary tub, exactly one profile strip can be provided on each side of the sanitary tub. This then results in the advantage that only four profile strips have to be mounted on the sanitary tub. Profile strips of different lengths can then be kept ready for different base areas. Alternatively, long profiled strips can also be provided, which must be shortened to the desired length.According to a variant of the invention, starting from a rectangular base area of the sanitary tub, a plurality of short profile strips are arranged on each side, so that then only the number of profile strips is to be adapted for different lengths. This then results in the advantage that short profile strips with a uniform length can be used.According to the invention, the profiled strips are first provided and mounted separately from one another. Starting from this, different design possibilities result for the support arrangement.According to a first development, the support arrangement has on the C-shaped trough edge only the profile strips which are produced and mounted separately from one another. Accordingly, the profile strips are not directly connected to one another even in the mounted state. Instead, free spaces remain between successive profile strips. This also results in that no sealing should take place in the region of the profiled strips. A seal during the assembly of the sanitary tub device can be effected, for example, with a sealing strip on the vertical section of the C-shaped tub edge. Correspondingly suitable sealing tapes and sealing elements are known, for example, from DE 299 05 152 U1.According to a second development, the support arrangement comprises additional corner pieces at corners of the sanitary tub, which are inserted into the C-shaped tub edge. The two legs of such a corner piece can correspond in cross section to the profile strips. In the case of a rectangular shower tray, 90° corner pieces are also used accordingly. These can be formed in a mold or also in a preceding working step can be formed from blanks of the profiled strips which are cut to miter. This results in the special feature that the corner pieces are also inserted into the C-shaped trough edge. It follows from this that the corner pieces on the underside of the sanitary tub must first be fed offset in the direction of the center of the sanitary tub and then pushed outwards into the corner of the sanitary tub.If, according to a preferred detailed configuration, the corner pieces are directly or at a small distance adjacent to the respective adjoining profiled strips, it is also clear that the corner pieces have to be mounted in front of the profiled strips, because otherwise there is not sufficient mounting space at the corners of the sanitary trough for lateral insertion. In particular, the corner pieces can be connected to the respective adjoining profile strips via connecting elements, for example connecting clamps. On the underside of the sanitary tub, a frame is then formed in a particularly advantageous manner from individual corner pieces and profiled strips, which frame can then be held positively as a whole frame and can also no longer be separated from the sanitary tub without dismantling the frame. The risk of faulty installation is thereby significantly reduced. In particular, there is no risk that the profiled strips will be accidentally removed or even disposed of.This also results in the advantage that identical corner pieces can be kept ready for different sizes of the sanitary tub and only the profile strips have to be selected in the suitable length or adapted in their length.Regardless of whether the profile strips are separated from one another by a distance in the assembled state or form a frame with additional corner pieces, the assembly height is predefined by the height of the profile strips. Unlike a pedestal, a continuous readjustment of the height is generally not provided. However, in order to be able to vary the mounting height at least in stages, separate plates or also substructure strips can be provided, on which the profile strips are then placed. For example, if the installation height is to be increased by a certain value, substructure strips with a corresponding height can be provided. It is also possible here for the profile strips and the substructure strips to have a tongue-and-groove connection for height adaptation. The optionally provided corner pieces and substructure strips are also expediently formed from plastic, in particular a rigid foam. Preferred foams here are those based on polystyrene, such as expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS).The height of the profiled strips is preferably between 20 mm and 50 mm, while a range between 30 mm and 70 mm is expedient for the width. The profiled strips can optionally be pre-assembled or can be mounted only when the sanitary tub device is installed, pre-assembly at the factory being preferred. The invention is explained below with reference to a drawing which merely represents an exemplary embodiment. The following are shown: FIG. 1 shows a sanitary tub device in a view from below, FIG. 2 shows a sectional illustration through an edge of the sanitary trough device according to FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows an alternative embodiment of the sanitary tub device with additional sound protection elements, FIG. 4 shows the sanitary tub device according to FIG. 3 in a view according to FIG. 2, FIG. 5 shows a further alternative embodiment of the sanitary tub device, FIG. 6 shows a sectional illustration through an edge of the sanitary trough device according to FIG. 5.FIG. 1 shows a sanitary tub device in a view from below. The sanitary tub device comprises, on the one hand, a sanitary tub 1 in the form of a shower tub and a support arrangement comprising profile strips 2 which are separated from one another and which support and support the sanitary tub 1 in the mounted state.Further details of the sanitary tub device according to the invention are given in FIG. 2, and accordingly the sanitary tub 1 has a tub edge 3 which is C-shaped in cross section. Starting from an approximately horizontal mirror section 4, a vertical section 5 is connected via a first radius. The vertical section 5 then merges into a second radius into a bend 6. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this sanitary trough 1 is formed from steel enamel. The C-shaped configuration of the tray edge 3 results in the advantage that the edge of the sheet metal blank is pulled inward by the lower edge 6 and is thus protected in an optimum manner. For stability reasons too, the C-shaped structure of the pan edge 3 is advantageous. The profiled strips 2 already illustrated in FIG. 1 are inserted according to FIG. 2 into the C-shaped trough edge 6 and held there in a form-fitting manner. For this purpose, the profiled strips have an L-shape in the widest sense. The profiled strips 2 formed substantially from plastic, in particular a rigid foam, each comprise an upper fastening portion 7 which is inserted into the C-shaped trough edge and a foot portion 8 which projects downward beyond the bend 6.According to the invention, the upper fastening section 7 in the unmounted state is oversized relative to a receiving space formed by the C-shaped trough edge 3. When the profiled strip 2 is inserted into the C-shaped trough edge 3, the upper fastening section 7 is also elastically compressed to a certain extent, so that the resulting positive fit is additionally supported by elastic restoring forces. It is evident from FIG. 1 that a central support 9 can additionally also be provided as a component of the support arrangement.FIGS. 3 and 4 relate to a development of the invention in which, starting from an otherwise identical configuration, additional elements made of a sound-absorbing material 10 are provided. Corresponding elements of a sound-absorbing material 10 can be integrated, for example, directly during the production of the profiled strip 2 or the central support 9. In particular, the elements of the sound-absorbing material 10 can be co-cast during the production process. The sound-absorbing material 10 then forms the only contact surfaces, so that optimum sound decoupling results.FIG. 5 shows a further embodiment of the sanitary tub device, wherein additional corner pieces 11 are provided at corners of the sanitary tub 1, which pieces insert the C-shaped tub edge 3 in a positive-locking manner. The corner pieces 11 each comprise two limbs arranged at right angles to one another, wherein the cross-sectional shape of the limbs corresponds to the cross-sectional shape of the profiled strips 2.In the assembled state, each profile strip assigned to a longitudinal side of the sanitary trough 1 adjoins a corner piece 11 at two ends thereof.Preferably, the corner pieces 11 and the profile strips 2 are matched to one another such that in the assembled state a closed or substantially closed frame results. Since both the profiled strips 2 and the corner pieces 11 are inserted into the C-shaped trough edge 3 with the undercut 6, a predetermined sequence must be observed during assembly. Accordingly, the corner pieces 11 must first be inserted, these then being additionally fixed in their position by the mounting of the profiled strips 2. If the profiled strips 2 extend, according to a preferred embodiment, in the assembled state as far as the corner pieces, the corner pieces 11 can no longer be moved inward and removed. The corner pieces 11 and the profiled strips 2 can be connected, for example, by suitable connecting elements 12, in particular connecting clamps, so that the support structure formed in this way is then secured against loss under all circumstances. The embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 5 shows that the support arrangement on the C-shaped trough edge 3 can either have only profile strips 2 or can have a frame composed of different elements.Regardless of these design variants, FIG. 5 also shows a possibility for adjusting the height of the support arrangement. In order optionally to provide an alternative installation height, substructure strips 13 are provided, which are to be arranged under the profile strips 2. The substructure strips 13 can already be provided in the desired length or alternatively cut to size. With regard to the substructure strips 13 as well, it is optionally possible to form a frame closed around the circumference. Corner pieces, not shown in detail, can also be provided for the substructure strips 13.FIG. 6 finally shows that the substructure strips 13 and the profile strips 2 can have a tongue-and-groove connection. If substructure strips 13 are present, a corresponding substructure 14 must of course also be provided for the central support 9.
