Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a measuring device for installation in a switchboard of a high- or medium-voltage system, comprising a housing for mounting in a mounting opening of the switchboard, wherein the housing has at least one support surface extending perpendicular to a mounting direction for resting on the switchboard in the edge region of the mounting opening, wherein the housing has at least one locking means movably arranged on the circumference, which is movably arranged relative to the housing in such a way that the locking means can be moved from a locked position to a released position and back, wherein the housing is clamped in the mounting opening (4) in the locked position and can be removed from the mounting opening (4) in the released position.
[0002] For the installation of measuring instruments of the aforementioned type in mounting openings of control panels, a precise fit and secure mounting position are of particular importance. Therefore, the device housing must be adapted to the mounting opening and the wall thickness of the control panel itself to achieve a seamless, preferably sealed, installation. This is especially crucial for applications exposed to dust and moisture. Measuring instruments known from the prior art typically use locking devices as a locking mechanism, clamping the control panel between the mounting surface and the locking device with a clamping force acting against the mounting direction. During maintenance, the measuring instruments are removed from the mounting opening using a tool that pushes back the locking devices that engage behind the control panel.Improper handling can damage the housing, potentially preventing the device from being reused after maintenance. Furthermore, wall thicknesses on control panels vary due to manufacturing tolerances and different manufacturers, which can lead to misalignment of the locking mechanisms or the housing itself, or to loose mounting in the opening.
[0003] From DE 20 2014 103 330 U1, a device is known in which the locking elements, designed as latching devices, are connected to the housing by means of connecting elements. An elastic design of the connecting elements allows the latching elements to be displaceable along the mounting direction. By means of elastic deformation of the latching elements, the mounting surface of the housing is pressed against the control panel, whereby the measuring instrument is locked in the mounting opening by the control panel being embedded between the latching elements and the mounting surface. To remove the measuring instrument, the latching element is moved into a release position by inserting a release tool into a gap extending in the mounting direction between the housing and the control panel and pressing the latching element perpendicular to the mounting direction into the mounting opening. This releases the control panel and allows the removal of the measuring instrument.Inserting the removal tool into the gap poses a potential risk of damage. Furthermore, this type of measuring device mounting requires considerable space, particularly around the circumference of the housing, leaving little room inside the device for any additional components. Another disadvantage of the known device is that it is designed for only one specific panel thickness, meaning that with varying panel thicknesses, the device cannot be mounted at all or only under considerable strain.
[0004] From DE 198 42 410 A1, an installation device for mounting in a mounting opening is known. This installation device interacts with expanding elements of the mounting opening; for example, the expanding elements are directly designed as an element of a mounting box. It is provided that, for mounting, the expanding elements are clamped against a device body of the installation device by means of a screw.
[0005] The invention is based on the objective of providing a measuring instrument of the type mentioned above with an alternative fastening mechanism which is able to overcome the disadvantages known from the prior art.
[0006] According to a first aspect, the problem is solved by the features of claim 1 in that the housing has a housing step extending in the mounting direction in the area of the locking means, which projects into the housing with a depth perpendicular to the mounting direction and forms a pocket, wherein the locking means is movably mounted in the pocket. By means of the housing step, the locking means is securely arranged on the housing, and the risk of the locking means becoming wedged during movement from the release position to the locking position or from the locking position to the release position is reduced.
[0007] According to the first aspect, by moving the locking device from the release position to the locking position, the receiving circumference of the housing is at least partially increased, so that in the mounted state the housing is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction against an inside of the mounting opening, and by moving the locking device from the locking position to the release position the receiving circumference of the housing is at least partially reduced.
[0008] “At least partially stressed” means, in the sense of the invention, that in particular further stresses can also occur, whereby, however, a stress perpendicular to the mounting direction is always exerted proportionally on an inside of the mounting opening.
[0009] By increasing the receiving area according to the first aspect of the invention, the housing can be mounted in the mounting opening with minimal assembly effort. Furthermore, the invention makes it possible to adapt the housing to different switchboards with varying wall thicknesses during its manufacture.
[0010] In the context of the invention, "in the assembled state" means that the housing is positioned in the mounting opening and the locking device is aligned in the latching position. "In the assembled state" refers in particular to the final state of assembly.
[0011] According to the first aspect of the invention, the housing has at least one elastic, in particular tab-like, clamping arm in the area of the locking element. The clamping arm extends from a beginning integrally molded onto the housing against the mounting direction to an open end. The open end projects from the housing perpendicular to the mounting direction, with the clamping arm bearing against the locking element in the locked position. As the locking element moves from the released position to the locked position, the receiving circumference is increased, at least in the area of the open end, so that the open end is clamped at least partially perpendicular to the mounting direction against the inside of the mounting opening when installed.By moving the locking device from the locking position to the release position, the receiving circumference of the housing is reduced by an elastic re-deformation of the clamping arms, so that the housing can be removed from the mounting opening in the opposite direction to the mounting direction.
[0012] According to the first aspect of the invention, the locking device for fixing the housing's installation position spreads the clamping arm outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction, thereby increasing the receiving circumference. The locking device acts only indirectly on the mounting opening. Since the clamping arm extends between the inside of the mounting opening and the locking device, the risk of the locking device jamming or snagging is advantageously reduced. The elastic design of the clamping arm allows it to automatically return to its original shape when the locking device moves from the locked position to the released position. This reduces the receiving circumference back to its initial dimension, allowing the housing to be inserted into and removed from the mounting opening. A further advantage is that a tool extending in the mounting direction between the housing and the control panel is not necessary for a release tool.In particular, this design reduces the disassembly effort, e.g. during maintenance work, and the space required for tool access.
[0013] In an improved embodiment, the clamping arm has a detent step at its open end for contact with the inside of the control panel. The length of this detent step, in the mounting direction, is such that the distance between the detent step and the support surface allows the control panel to be inserted between the receiving surface and the detent step without play. Advantageously, the detent step creates a contact surface for the inside of the control panel which, in the locked position, prevents movement of the housing against the mounting direction, i.e., removal of the housing from the mounting opening. By moving the locking mechanism from the release position to the locked position, the open end of the clamping arm is clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction against the inside of the control panel.
[0014] To enable universal use of the measuring device, the clamping arm preferably has at least one second locking step at its open end. The length of each locking step in the mounting direction is designed such that the distance between the respective additional locking step and the mounting surface allows for the insertion of a thicker alternative control panel between the mounting surface and the additional locking step without any play.
[0015] According to another aspect, the invention relates to a measuring instrument according to claim 7. According to this aspect of the measuring instrument, an elastic clamping arm extends in the region of the locking means from a beginning integrally formed with the circumference of the housing in the mounting direction towards an open end in the mounting opening. Furthermore, the clamping arm extends from the bearing surface of the housing into the mounting opening. In the locked position, the clamping arm rests against the locking means, so that the receiving circumference is increased, at least in the region of a ramp section in the housing step, by means of the movement of the locking means from the released position to the locked position. For this embodiment, it is necessary that the depth of the housing step decreases along the path of the housing step in the mounting direction in a ramp section. When the locking device moves from the release position to the locking position, it slides along the ramp-like section and is guided outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction. In doing so, the locking device comes into contact with the elastic clamping arms and pushes them outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction. This means that, in the installed state, the clamping arm is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction against the inside of the mounting opening. As the locking device moves from the locking position to the release position, the circumference of the housing is reduced by the elastic deformation of the clamping arms, allowing the housing to be removed from the mounting opening in the opposite direction to the mounting direction.
[0016] In this embodiment, the same advantageous properties are realized as already described above for the elastic clamping arms, which, according to the first aspect of the invention, extend against the mounting direction. An additional advantage of this embodiment is that the risk of the clamping arms jamming at the mounting opening of the control panel when the housing is removed from the mounting opening is reduced. Even if the elastic properties of the clamping arms diminish, e.g., due to age or extreme temperatures, no tool is required to reshape the clamping arms and thereby reduce their circumference. In this case, when the housing is moved against the mounting direction, the clamping arms are pressed inwards through the mounting opening perpendicular to the mounting direction.
[0017] In a preferred embodiment of the measuring device, the locking device has elastic stop elements on a surface facing outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction. The stop elements are arranged such that, in the locked position, the control panel is positioned between the stop elements and the mounting surface. In this embodiment, the locking device, when mounted, is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction directly against the inside of the mounting opening. When the locking device moves from the released position to the locked position, it slides along the ramp-like profile of the ramp section and is guided outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction. This causes the stop elements to align themselves in an area which, viewed in the mounting direction, lies behind the mounting surface and within the mounting opening. In the assembled state, the control panel is thus embedded between the stop elements and the mounting surface, and movement of the housing against the mounting direction out of the mounting opening is prevented by the contact of the control panel against the stop elements. Advantageously, the stop elements are designed to be elastic, allowing them to adapt to different wall thicknesses of different mounting surfaces, so that the measuring device can be used universally with different control panels. An alternative in this regard is adjustable stop elements that are only adjusted on site. For this purpose, several stop elements are molded in a row onto the surface of the locking device. On site, the housing can be adapted to the actual control panel by removing individual stop elements, e.g., by cutting or filing them down.
[0018] To remove the measuring device, the locking mechanism is moved from the locked position to the released position. The person removing the device must move the locking mechanism relative to the housing against the mounting direction, overcoming a certain release force depending on the elastic design of the stop elements. Once this is achieved, the locking mechanism slides against the mounting direction along the ramped section and is guided inwards perpendicular to the mounting direction. This reduces the clamping circumference, allowing the housing to be safely removed from the mounting opening.
[0019] Further advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the following description of the figures and the dependent subclaims.

[0021] In the various figures of the drawing, identical parts are always labelled with the same reference symbols.
[0022] With regard to the following description, it is expressly claimed that the invention is not limited to all or several features of the described combinations of features; rather, each individual partial feature of the embodiment can also have an inventive significance in connection with the subject matter of claim 1, independently of all other partial features described in connection with it, both on its own and in combination with other features, as well as independently of the combinations of features and cross-references of the claims.
[0023] Fig. Figure 1 shows a housing 2 of a measuring device for installation in a switchboard 1 of a high- or medium-voltage system. The in Fig. The housing 2 shown is already in a mounted state in the control panel 1. Here, the housing 2 serves to mount the measuring instrument in a mounting opening 4 of the control panel 1.
[0024] Perpendicular to a mounting direction M, the housing 2 has at least one support surface 10 for resting on the control panel 1 in the edge region of the mounting opening 4. The support surface 10 prevents the housing 2 from being displaced too far into the mounting opening 4 in the mounting direction M by limiting the movement in the mounting direction M through its support on the control panel 1 in the edge region of the mounting opening 4. "At least one support surface 10" means that individual support surfaces 10 distributed around the circumference of the housing 2 also fulfill the same function.
[0025] As in the Fig. 3, Fig. 7 and Fig. As shown in Figure 10, the housing 2 has at least one locking element 12, 12a movably arranged on its circumference. The locking element 12, 12a is movably arranged relative to the housing 2 such that it can be moved from a locked position to a released position and back. In particular, the locking element 12, 12a can be moved from the released position to the locked position or back by movement in the mounting direction M or against the mounting direction M or by rotation about an axis of rotation of the locking element 12. In the locked position, the housing 2 is clamped in the mounting opening (4), and in the released position, it can be removed from the mounting opening (4).
[0026] According to a first aspect of the invention, the housing 2 has a housing step 24 extending in the mounting direction M in the area of the locking means 12, 12a. This step projects into the housing 2 with a depth T perpendicular to the mounting direction M and forms a pocket 26. The locking means 12, 12a is movably mounted in the pocket 26. If several locking means 12, 12a are provided, the housing 2 can have a housing step 24 for each locking means 12, 12a. Within the pocket 26, the locking means 12, 12a is protected from external environmental influences. Furthermore, the risk of the locking means 12, 12a becoming wedged during movement from the release position to the locking position or from the locking position to the release position is reduced.
[0027] In the Fig. In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 13, the locking means 12, 12a is arranged on the housing 2 in a manner movable for movement from the release position to the locking position, particularly in the assembly direction M, and is arranged on the housing 2 in a manner movable for movement from the locking position to the release position, particularly against the assembly direction M.
[0028] According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, not shown, the locking means 12 is designed as a rotatable eccentric with an axis of rotation longitudinally in the mounting direction M. For movement from the release position to the locking position and from the locking position to the release position, the rotatable eccentric is rotatably arranged about the axis of rotation on the housing 2.
[0029] According to the invention, the movement of the locking means 12, 12a from the release position to the locking position at least partially enlarges the receiving circumference of the housing 2. The locking position and the resulting increase in receiving circumference are shown in the detailed views according to the Fig. 3, Fig. 7 and Fig. As can be seen in Figure 10. By at least partially increasing the receiving circumference of the housing 2, the housing 2, in its assembled state, is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction M against an inner surface 16 of the mounting opening 4. In order to remove the housing 2 from the mounting opening 4, the receiving circumference of the housing 2 is at least partially reduced by moving the locking means 12, 12a from the locked position to the unlocked position.
[0030] As the Fig. 2, Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the housing 2 has an interior space 2a. The invention advantageously makes it possible to design the interior space 2a of the housing 2 very generously, so that any measuring devices can be conveniently placed within the interior space 2a of the housing 2. This is achieved by ensuring that the locking means 12, 12a, in order to interact with the housing 2, require only a small amount of space within the housing 2, both for the movement from the released position to the locked position and, in particular, for the movement from the locked position to the released position.
[0031] According to the first aspect of the invention, the housing 2 has at least one elastic clamping arm 18a in the area of the locking means 12, 12a. This embodiment is described in the Fig. Figures 1 to 4 illustrate this. Alternatively, it is also possible to distribute several elastic clamping arms 18a around the circumference of the housing 2, as for example according to the second aspect, which is described in the Fig. The clamping arm 18a is carried out as shown in Figures 5 to 7. It extends from a beginning integrally formed with the housing 2, against the mounting direction M, to an open end 20a. The open end 20a is perpendicular to the mounting direction M and extends from the housing 2.
[0032] As in the Fig. 2 and Fig. As shown in Figure 3, the clamping arm 18a rests against the locking means 12, 12a in the locked position, so that the movement of the locking means 12, 12a from the released position to the locked position, particularly in the assembly direction M, increases the receiving circumference at least in the area of the open end 20a. As can be seen in the figures, the locking means 12, 12a generates a spreading effect on the clamping arm 18a, thereby producing the effect described above.
[0033] In the Fig. In the assembled state shown in Figures 1 to 4, the open end 20a is clamped at least partially perpendicular to the mounting direction M against the inner side 16 of the mounting opening 4. To enable the housing 2 to be removed from the mounting opening again from the assembled state, the circumference of the housing 2 is reduced again by means of an elastic re-deformation of the clamping arms 18a, achieved by moving the locking means 12, 12a from the locked position to the unlocked position. In this state, the housing 2 can be removed from the mounting opening 4 opposite to the mounting direction M, and easy removal or insertion of the housing 2 into or out of the mounting opening 4 is possible.
[0034] Preferably the clamping arm 18a has, as shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. 13 shows that at its open end 20a, at least one detent step 22 is provided for attachment to an inside of the switchboard 1, the length of which in the mounting direction M is designed such that the distance of the detent step 22 to the support surface 10 allows the switchboard 1 to be received between the receiving surface 10 and the detent step 22 without play.
[0035] The control panel 1 has a design-related wall thickness D. The detent step 22 has two surfaces: a first step surface and a second step surface. The first step surface extends parallel to the inner surface 16 of the mounting opening 4. The second step surface is perpendicular to the first step surface and extends from it. In the mounted state, the locking means 12, 12a clamp the first step surface perpendicular to the mounting direction M against the inner surface 16 of the mounting opening 4. Simultaneously, the second step surface is displaced perpendicular to the mounting direction M into an area behind the mounting opening 4, as viewed in the mounting direction M, by the increasing circumference of the housing 2.
[0036] According to an alternative embodiment not in accordance with the invention, the clamping arm 18a is designed such that the clamping arm 18a is not clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction M against the mounting opening 4, but is displaced by the enlargement of the receiving circumference of the housing 2 with an end face perpendicular to the mounting direction M into an area behind the mounting opening 4 viewed in the mounting direction M and thereby supports the housing 2 against the mounting direction M on the switchboard 1.
[0037] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the clamping arm 18a has at least one second detent step 22n at its open end 20a, the length of which in the mounting direction M is designed such that the distance of each further detent step 22n to the support surface 10 allows for the free insertion of a thicker alternative switchboard 1 between the receiving surface 10 and further detent steps 22n. This further detent step 22n is designed for a greater wall thickness Dn of an alternative switchboard. According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the clamping arm 18a, as shown in the Fig. 3 and Fig. Figure 13 shows two detent positions 22, 22n. In a further embodiment, the clamping arm 18a has three detent positions 22, 22n spaced preferably 1 mm apart, making the housing 2 particularly suitable for mounting in switchboards 1 with wall thicknesses D, Dn of 2 to 4 mm. The detent positions 22n following the first detent positions 22 are identical in terms of their first and second step surfaces and their function, with the sole difference being that each detent position 22, 22n is adapted to a different switchboard 1.
[0038] Preferably, the resting steps 22, 22n are stair-like, as in the Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 13, the first locking step 22 is arranged at the open end 20a of the clamping arm 18a. The first locking step 22, arranged foremost in the mounting direction M, is designed for the smallest wall thickness D, with each subsequent locking step 22n, arranged in a step-like fashion in the mounting direction M, being designed for a next larger wall thickness. In particular, the locking steps 22 and 22n transition directly into one another, thereby reducing the longitudinal extent of the entire step arrangement in the mounting direction M. For this purpose, the second step surface is connected to the first step surface of the subsequent locking step 22n in the mounting direction M. This compact, step-like arrangement is shown in the figure in Figure 13. Fig. 3 and Fig. The design shown in section 13 has been implemented.
[0039] In a measuring device according to a second aspect of the invention, the depth T of the housing step 24 decreases over the course of the housing step 24 in the mounting direction M in a ramp section 28 (see. Fig. 7 and Fig. 10). This causes the locking means 12, 12a to be guided outwards along the ramp-like course of the ramp section 28 perpendicular to the assembly direction M when moving from the release position to the locking position. It is also fundamentally possible that the first embodiment of the invention, which is described in the Fig. Figures 1 to 4, shown without a ramp section 28, are to be further optimized with a ramp section 28 in order to increase the spreading effect on the clamping arms 18a. In particular, the housing step 24 and the ramp section 28 are necessary to implement the invention according to its second aspect.
[0040] In a second aspect of the invention, which, as already described above, comprises a housing step 24 with a ramp section 28 and a locking means 12, 12a movable in and against the mounting direction M, at least one elastic clamping arm 18b extends in the area of the locking means 12, 12a from an end integrally formed with the circumference of the housing 2 in the mounting direction M into the mounting opening 4 to an open end 20b. In the area described above, the clamping arm 18b extends from an end integrally formed with the circumference of the housing 2 in the mounting direction M to an open end 20b. Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figures 5 to 7, the housing 2 has two clamping arms 18b, one of which is similar to the clamping arm 18b shown in the Fig. This is possible as illustrated in the embodiment shown in Figures 1 to 4. Likewise, it may be necessary or advantageous if more than two, for example three or four, clamping arms 18b, each with a housing step 24, are arranged distributed around the circumference of the housing 2.
[0041] According to the second aspect of the invention, the clamping arm 18b rests against the locking means 12, 12a in the locked position. By moving the locking means 12, 12a from the released position to the locked position, the receiving circumference is increased at least in the area of the ramp section 28 of the housing step 24. As shown in the Fig. 6 and Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the respective ramp section 28 corresponds to the locking means 12, 12a such that the clamping arm 18b, in the assembled state, is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the assembly direction M against the inside 16 of the assembly opening 4. This assembled state, as described in the second aspect, is shown in the Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 shown.
[0042] To remove the housing 2 from the mounting opening 4, starting from the mounted state, the receiving circumference of the housing 2 is reduced by means of an elastic re-deformation of the clamping arms 18b by moving the locking means 12, 12a from the locking position to the release position, so that the housing 2 can be removed from the mounting opening 4 in the opposite direction to the mounting direction M.
[0043] In the second aspect, the movement of the locking means 12, 12a from the release position to the locking position corresponds to a movement of the locking means 12, 12a relative to the housing in the assembly direction M. On the other hand, the movement of the locking means 12, 12a from the locking position to the release position corresponds to a movement of the locking means 12, 12a relative to the housing opposite to the assembly direction M.
[0044] In a further embodiment of the invention, which, as already described above, has a housing step 24 with a ramp section 28 and a locking means 12, 12a movable in and against the mounting direction M, the locking means 12, 12a has elastic stop elements 30 on a surface pointing outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction M. The further embodiment is described in the Fig. 8 to 10 are shown.
[0045] The elastic stop elements 30 are arranged such that, in the latching position, the switchboard 1 is positioned between the stop elements 30 and the support surface 10. This described latching position in the assembled state is shown in the Fig. 9 and Fig. 10 can be seen. In this case, the locking device 12, in a mounted state, is at least partially clamped perpendicular to the mounting direction M directly against the inside 16 of the mounting opening 4.
[0046] Similar to what has already been explained regarding the first and second aspects of the invention, the number and distribution of the locking means 12 around the circumference of the housing 2 is variable and can be taken into account depending on the installation conditions in the manufacturing process of the measuring device or the housing 2.
[0047] When the locking device 12 moves from the release position to the locking position, it slides along the ramp-like path of the ramp section 28 and is guided outwards perpendicular to the mounting direction M. This causes the stop elements 30 to align themselves in an area which, viewed in the mounting direction M, lies perpendicular to the mounting direction M behind the mounting opening 4. In the mounted state, the switchboard 1 is thus embedded between the stop elements 30 and the support surface 10, and movement of the housing against the mounting direction M out of the mounting opening 4 is prevented.
[0048] The stop elements 30 are advantageously designed to be elastic, allowing them to adapt to different wall thicknesses D, Dn of different switchboards 1, thus making the measuring device universally applicable to different switchboards 1. An alternative in this regard are adjustable stop elements 30, which are adjusted only at the installation site. For this purpose, several stop elements 30 are arranged in a row, as in the Fig. 9 and Fig. Figure 10 is shown, molded onto the surface of the locking element 12. At the mounting location, the housing 2 can be adapted to the actual wall thickness D, Dn of the switchboard 1 by removing individual stop elements 30, e.g. by cutting or filing.
[0049] In this embodiment, to disassemble the measuring device, the locking device 12 is moved from the locked position to the released position. The person disassembling must move the locking device 12 relative to the housing 2 against the mounting direction M, overcoming a specific release force depending on the elastic design of the stop elements 30. Once this has occurred, the locking device 12 slides against the mounting direction M along the ramp-like section 28 and is guided inwards perpendicular to the mounting direction M. This reduces the required circumference, allowing the housing 2 to be safely removed from the mounting opening 4.
[0050] In particular, in the described embodiments, the locking means 12 is designed as a wedge 12a. As in the Fig. 3 and Fig. As shown in Figure 13, the wedge 12a has a flat side 32 pointing inwards perpendicular to the mounting direction M and a wedge side 34 opposite the flat side 32. In the Fig. 3 and Fig. Figure 13 shows how, in the assembled state, the wedge side 34 rests against the clamping arm 18a and, in particular, presses it outwards perpendicular to the assembly direction M. The flat side 32 rests against the housing step 24 as shown. When the wedge 12a moves in or against the assembly direction, the wedge 12a slides with its flat side 32 over the housing step 24 and rests with the wedge side 24 against the clamping arm 18a. The wedge side 34 has a first ramp-shaped transition piece 36 in the region of the end of the wedge 12a pointing towards the assembly direction M, at which the wedge side 34 and the flat side 32 meet. The first transition piece 36 advantageously facilitates the insertion of the wedge 12a into the pocket 26. Furthermore, the ramp shape at the end of the wedge 12a prevents the wedge 12a from becoming wedged relative to the housing 2 during movement in the assembly direction M. Another advantage of the ramp shape at the end of the wedge 12a is that the spreading parameters, e.g.B. the spreading path perpendicular to the mounting axis of the clamping arm 18a can be adjusted depending on the movement of the wedge 12a in the mounting direction M of a clamping arm 18a.
[0051] Preferably, the wedge side 34 has a second ramp-shaped transition piece 38. This results in the wedge 12a having a height H1 measured perpendicular to the mounting direction M after the second transition piece 38, which is less than the height H2 of the wedge 12a measured perpendicular to the mounting direction M before the second transition piece 38. Advantageously, the stiffness of the wedge 12a can be adjusted along its length in the mounting direction M. In particular, if a ramp section 28 is arranged in the housing step 24, the wedge 12a can be adjusted elastically so that it can adapt optimally during its movement from the release position to the locking position and vice versa. Advantageously, the wedge 12a has a stiff section before the second transition piece 38, which preferably projects at least partially out of the housing 2 against the mounting direction M when in the locking position. This section can preferably be used to move the wedge 12a manually or with a tool in or against the assembly direction M.
[0052] Preferably, the wedge 12a has, as in Fig. Figure 11 shows two parallel side walls 40 extending in the assembly direction M. These side walls 40 connect the flat side 32 and the wedge side 34 and each have an elastic barb 42 at the end of the wedge 12a pointing in the assembly direction M. Preferably, these barbs project from the respective side wall 40 in the direction of assembly M. Fig. Figure 12 shows a housing 2 in a side view with a wedge 12a in the locked position, which has barbs 42 on its side surfaces 40. The barbs 42 provide the wedge 12a with a locking mechanism to prevent it from being lost. Because the barbs 42 bear against the support surface 10 of the housing 2 in the released position, the wedge 12a is held in the pocket 26 and cannot detach from the measuring instrument even when disassembled. This practically simplifies the assembly and manufacturing process to such an extent that the locking device 12, 12a, in particular the wedge 12a, can be manufactured separately from other housing parts. For delivery or at the installation site, the wedge 12a is attached to the housing 2 and movably mounted in its intended position by the barbs 42 as described above.
[0053] Preferably the barbs 42 have, as shown in Fig. Figure 11 shows an angled insertion section 44 at the end of the wedge 12a pointing in the assembly direction M. In this section, the distance between the two opposing barbs 42 in the assembly direction M decreases. Preferably, the insertion sections 44 of the two opposing barbs 42 are aligned at an angle α of 140° to 10°, preferably 100° to 20°, and most preferably 70° to 40° to each other. The insertion sections 44 simplify assembly and reduce the risk of the wedge 12a becoming jammed during its movement in or against the assembly direction M.
[0054] Preferably, the side walls 40, viewed in the assembly direction M, point directly in front of the barbs 42, as shown in Fig. Figure 11 shows recesses 46. The barbs 42 project at least partially beyond the recesses 46 in the direction of assembly M, and are elastically designed such that they can be elastically deformed into the recesses 46 by an external force. This elastic deformation of the barbs 42 into the recesses 46 reduces the projected cross-section perpendicular to the assembly direction of the wedge 12a in the area of the barbs 42, thus facilitating the positioning of the wedge 12a on the housing 2.
[0055] Fig. Figure 13 shows a preferred embodiment of the wedge 12a, in which a locking seam 48 is formed on the flat side 32. Here, the locking seam 48, together with a corresponding locking groove 50 in the housing 2, locks the wedge 12a in the locked position. In the locked position, the locking seam 48 lies in the locking groove 50, and to move the wedge 12a from the locked position to the released position, for example, to disassemble the measuring device, the person disassembling it must move the wedge 12a against the assembly direction M relative to the housing 2, whereby a certain release force must be overcome, depending on the design of the locking seam 48 and the locking groove 50, in particular their geometric and elastic characteristics. Once this has happened, the wedge 12a slides with its flat side 32 against the mounting direction M over the housing step 24 from the locking position to the release position.
[0056] To limit the travel of the wedge 12a in the mounting direction M and to ensure that the wedge 12a assumes a defined and repeatably identical locking position, the wedge 12a preferably has support arms with support surfaces at its end facing away from the mounting direction M. These support surfaces face in the mounting direction M and extend perpendicular to the side walls 40. The support surfaces are preferably designed such that, in the locking position, they rest on at least one surface 56 of the housing 2 facing away from the mounting direction M.
[0057] In a further embodiment of the measuring device, the locking means 12 is designed as a rotatable eccentric with an axis of rotation extending longitudinally in the mounting direction M. This eccentric is rotatably arranged on the housing 2 about the axis of rotation for movement from the released position to the locked position and from the locked position to the released position. The rotatable eccentric has an eccentric element that projects into the mounting opening 4 when mounted. Preferably, the circumference of the receiving area is at least partially increased by the rotation of the eccentric. The eccentric element itself can be designed such that it is clamped against the inner side 16 of the mounting opening 4, or it can have a clamping arm integrally molded onto the housing 2. This clamping arm can be designed, in particular, in the manner described above in relation to the first and second aspects of the invention. It is advantageous if the rotatable eccentric is arranged in the area of a housing step 24 without a ramp section 28 on the housing 2.
[0058] In a preferred embodiment of the further embodiment, an elastic clamping arm extends in the region of the rotatable eccentric from a beginning integrally formed with the circumference of the housing 2 in the mounting direction M towards an open end or against the mounting direction M towards an open end. The direction of extension of the clamping arm in the further embodiment can therefore be designed according to the first and second aspects. In this case, the clamping arm rests against the eccentric element in the locked position and, in a mounted state, is clamped at least partially perpendicular to the mounting direction M against an inner surface 16 of the mounting opening 4.
[0059] In Fig. Figure 4 shows a particularly advantageous embodiment of the housing 2, which is equally applicable to the described embodiments. At least one bearing groove 58, comprising a bearing base 60, a first support wall 62 extending perpendicular to the bearing base 60, and a second retaining wall 64 extending parallel to the support wall 62 are formed on the circumference of the housing 2. The bearing base 60 connects the support wall 62 and the retaining wall 64. The support wall 62 extends, as shown, in the same plane as the bearing surface 10 of the housing 2. The retaining wall 64 is arranged opposite the support wall 62 at a distance such that, in the assembled state, the control panel 1 is arranged in the bearing groove 58 between the support wall 62 and the retaining wall 64 and bears against at least the support wall 62 and the bearing base 60. This embodiment conveniently provides a mounting for the housing 2 on the control panel 1.This makes it possible to determine the number of locking devices required, as in the . Fig. 1 to 4 shown, to reduce to a locking means 12, 12a and thereby in particular to make the interior 2a of the housing 2 very generously designed, so that any measuring devices can be conveniently placed in the interior 2a of the housing 2.
[0060] For universal applicability of the housing 2, the support wall 62, measured perpendicular to the bearing base 60, is preferably located further away from the bearing base 60 and has a larger surface area than the retaining wall 64. This increases the contact area 62, allowing the housing 2 to be positioned more securely in the mounting opening 4. In particular, the distance between the support wall 62 and the retaining wall 64 is preferably greater than or equal to the greatest wall thickness D, Dn of a switchboard 1 that could potentially be mounted. It has been found that a distance of 6 mm to 1 mm, and especially 4 mm to 2 mm, is preferable.
[0061] In all embodiments, the housing 2 preferably has a through-hole 66 extending in the mounting direction M in the area of the locking means 12, 12a arranged on the circumference of the housing 2 (see figure). Fig. 7 and Fig. 10), which passes through or divides the support surface 10. In this embodiment, the locking means 12, 12a projects through the opening 66 into the mounting opening 4. To prevent the ingress of dirt and foreign matter, the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the mounting direction M of the locking means 12, 12a in the area of the support surface 10 corresponds, at least in the locked position, to an area perpendicular to the mounting direction M of the opening 66.
[0062] This embodiment can be particularly advantageously combined with a wedge 12a having elastic barbs 42. When the wedge 12a is inserted in the assembly direction M through the opening 66 into the assembly opening 4, the barbs 42 are deformed by the opening 66 and preferably pressed into the recesses 46. Once the wedge 12a has been moved in the assembly direction M relative to the housing 2 to such an extent that the barbs 42, viewed in the assembly direction M, lie behind the opening 66 and the bearing surface 10, the barbs 42 elastically deform back. This increases the projected cross-sectional area perpendicular to the assembly direction M of the wedge 12a in the area of the barbs 42, and the wedge 12a is held securely against the housing 2.
[0063] "Loss-proof" means that the wedge 12a cannot detach completely from the housing 2 on its own. External forces can compress the barbs 42, thereby reducing the projected cross-sectional area perpendicular to the mounting direction M of the wedge 12a, to a maximum area equal to the cross-sectional area perpendicular to the mounting direction M of the opening 66.
[0064] In all embodiments, the locking means 12, 12a preferably has a release point 68 at its end facing away from the mounting direction M. Preferably, this is designed as a groove or an opening perpendicular to the mounting direction M for a release tool, in particular a screwdriver. In particular, the one described in Fig. The solution attack 68 shown in Figure 11 is designed as a breakthrough, whereas Fig.Figure 13 shows a release lever 68 designed as a groove. For proper function and ease of use, it is important that the release lever 68 is easily accessible from an area outside the mounting opening 4 and preferably protrudes from the housing 2 in the opposite direction to the mounting direction M. This allows the installer to easily engage their release tool and reduces the risk of damaging the housing 2 or the control panel 1.
[0065] Alternatively, rotatable locking devices can also have a release engagement 68 in the form of a tool engagement. Examples include an external or internal hexagonal profile or a cross or slotted profile.
[0066] To facilitate disassembly, the contact surfaces 10 of the first to fourth embodiments are preferably interrupted at at least one point on the circumference of the housing 2. In particular, the contact surface 10 is interrupted in the area of the locking means 12, 12a. The interrupted area forms a recessed engagement groove 70, which is preferably recessed such that a gap for a release tool, especially a screwdriver, is formed between the engagement groove 70 and the control panel 1. In practice, it frequently occurs that the housing 2 becomes stuck in the mounting opening 4, or that the person disassembling it has difficulty gripping the housing 2 and moving it against the mounting direction M due to the design of the measuring instrument. Therefore, it is advantageous if the person disassembling it can insert a release tool into the gap at the recessed engagement groove 70 in order to easily pry the measuring instrument or the housing 2 out of the mounting opening 4.
