Description

[0001] The invention relates to a lifting unit for lifting an electrochemical material processing device from a machine system, a machine system with a lifting unit and a method for lifting an electrochemical material processing device from a machine system.

[0002] In machine systems for the electrochemical processing of workpieces, various electrochemical material processing devices can be used to process different components.

[0003] Since such material processing devices are heavy and therefore cannot be lifted out of a machine system purely manually, a lifting mechanism is usually provided for changing the material processing devices. However, existing lifting mechanisms often have unfavorable leverage ratios, limiting the lifting force of the lifting mechanisms. Furthermore, a so-called slip / stick effect can occur during lifting, which significantly impacts the force ratios, making removal only possible with considerable effort. Furthermore, the presence of the electrolyte creates adhesion forces, making removal even more difficult.

[0004] EP 0 264 770 A2 discloses a lifting unit for lifting a die from a press table in order to remove the die from the press. For this purpose, the lifting unit comprises roller rails that are recessed into the table in a first position and raised above a support surface of the table in a second position by means of a hydraulic actuating device.

[0005] DE 10 2016 120 820 A1 describes a lifting device for a system for processing semiconductor components. A lifting device can be used to lift a plate on which a system module is mounted. For this purpose, vertically movable dies are mounted on a rail.

[0006] DE 42 33 082 A1 discloses a roller table for angular transfer of sheet materials with first roller rails and second roller rails. The second roller rails can be raised by means of lifting assemblies, each comprising a guide wedge and a support roller attached to the roller rail.

[0007] It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a lifting unit for lifting an electrochemical material processing device from a machine system, which enables simple lifting with little effort.

[0008] This object is achieved according to the invention by a lifting unit for lifting an electrochemical material processing device from a machine system, comprising a support surface on which the material processing device is mounted during operation of the machine system, and comprising at least one roller rail that is adjustable between an operating position, in which the roller rail is arranged below the support surface or flush with the support surface, and a lifting position, in which the roller rail projects beyond the support surface and lifts the material processing device. The at least one roller rail is pivotally mounted at one end for tilting the roller rail.

[0009] Such a lifting unit has the advantage that it enables particularly easy lifting of the electrochemical material processing device when the at least one roller rail is in the lift-out position. In this state, the material processing device can be pulled out of the machine system particularly easily and with little effort. The rollers of the roller rail, in particular, prevent the occurrence of a slip / stick effect. The insertion of a material processing device into a machine system can be carried out equally easily. In addition, vertical guidance, as is present in known lifting units, can be omitted because the material processing device is continuously supported by the at least one roller rail during lifting. The use of roller rails also has the advantage that tilting of the material processing device cannot occur when it is lifted out.In addition, a piston rod cylinder can be dispensed with, which also makes it possible to use aggressive media as electrolyte.

[0010] The other end of the roller track is preferably freestanding. This means that the non-articulated end of the roller track has greater freedom of movement than the articulated end. This means that the roller track does not necessarily have to be raised parallel to the support surface before reaching the lifting position; instead, the roller track can be tilted relative to the support surface in an intermediate position during lifting.

[0011] When the roller rail is in the operating position, the material processing device rests on the support surface over a large area, so that the material processing device is stably mounted.

[0012] In the lifted position, at least one roller rail runs parallel to the support surface and simultaneously parallel to the insertion or withdrawal direction when changing the material processing device. One rolling surface of the rails is preferably also parallel to the support surface. This means that the roller rail is not tilted in any direction relative to the support surface in the lifted position.

[0013] Preferably, at least two roller rails, in particular exactly two roller rails, are provided, which are spaced apart from one another in a direction transverse to the insertion or withdrawal direction.

[0014] In the raised position, the at least one roller rail is raised by, for example, 10 mm to 20 mm, in particular by 15 mm, relative to the operating position. In particular, it is sufficient if the roller rail protrudes slightly beyond the support surface over its entire length in the raised position, so that a material processing device can be moved on the roller rails without rubbing against the support surface.

[0015] According to one embodiment, the lifting unit has a base plate on which the support surface is provided. The base plate is particularly stable and can reliably support the material processing device in the operating position, even over the long term.

[0016] A fluid connection for the electrolyte can be provided in the baseplate. This allows the electrolyte to be supplied to the material processing device via the baseplate. The fluid connection is, for example, a hole in the baseplate, with a line connected to the fluid connection on a side of the baseplate facing away from the material processing device.

[0017] At least one roller rail can be recessed into the base plate in its operating position. This means that in the operating position, the roller rail is not subjected to the weight of the material processing device. This allows the lifting unit to have a particularly long service life. Furthermore, the lifting unit does not interfere with the normal operation of the material processing device.

[0018] The lifting unit preferably has an actuating unit for moving the at least one roller rail from the operating position to the lifting position or from the lifting position to the operating position.

[0019] According to one embodiment, the actuating unit comprises a rotatably mounted camshaft or an eccentric, which is designed such that the roller rail can be moved from the operating position into the lifted position by a rotation of the camshaft or the eccentric.

[0020] When the camshaft or eccentric rotates, the roller rail can be moved upwards, particularly into the lifted position, if the roller rail was in the operating position before rotation. This is achieved, for example, by a cam being turned during the rotation of the camshaft so that the roller rail is pushed into the lifted position. Conversely, when the camshaft rotates, the roller rail can move back into the operating position if it was previously in the lifted position. In the case of an eccentric, the roller rail can similarly be pushed from the operating position into the lifted position by a control disc of the eccentric, the center of which lies outside a shaft axis of the eccentric.

[0021] For example, the camshaft or a shaft axis of the eccentric is arranged centrally relative to the roller rail.

[0022] According to one embodiment, the actuating unit comprises a lever, wherein the lever is operatively connected to the camshaft or the eccentric such that actuation of the lever causes the camshaft or the eccentric to rotate by a defined angle. The lever thus enables manual operation of the actuating unit.

[0023] The defined angle through which the camshaft rotates when the lever is actuated is preferably selected such that the cam of the camshaft extends toward the roller rail when the lever is actuated, thereby pushing the roller rail into the raised position, or such that the cam rests against a machine beam or other component of the machine system in such a way that the camshaft itself is raised, thereby pushing the roller rail into the raised position. The same applies analogously to the control disc of the eccentric.

[0024] Alternatively or in addition to the lever, the actuating unit can have at least one pneumatic element that is operatively connected to the camshaft or eccentric, such that actuation of the pneumatic element causes the camshaft or eccentric to rotate by a defined angle. This enables automatic operation of the lifting unit, making it even more convenient for the user. The pneumatic element is, for example, a so-called pneumatic muscle that can be contracted to rotate the camshaft or eccentric.

[0025] For example, the angle by which the camshaft or eccentric is rotated by actuating the lever and / or the pneumatic element is between 70° and 110°, preferably 90°.

[0026] The articulated mounting of the roller rail is achieved, for example, via an intermediate piece, with the intermediate piece being articulated to the roller rail. Because the articulated mounting is achieved via the intermediate piece, the roller rail can be tilted relative to the support surface during lifting, as well as aligned parallel to the support surface. This makes it particularly easy to lift the material processing device. Furthermore, the intermediate piece allows for a relatively large range of motion for the roller rail without the need for complex guides or joints.

[0027] To position the at least one roller rail in a defined lifted position, at least one stop element can be provided that limits movement of the roller rail, in particular movement beyond the lifted position. The stop element is, for example, attached to the at least one roller rail. For example, the stop element is a crosspiece that runs at a distance from the roller rail and transversely to a longitudinal extension of the roller rail.

[0028] The crossbar can be in contact with a machine element of the machine system when the roller rail is in the lifted position.

[0029] The object is further achieved according to the invention by a machine system with a lifting unit, which is designed as described above, wherein the machine system has at least one, in particular horizontally extending, machine beam, and wherein the lifting unit is mounted on the machine beam. In particular, the base plate of the lifting unit rests on the machine beam. The machine beam thus supports the lifting unit and also a material processing device used in the machine system.

[0030] Preferably, two machine beams running parallel to each other at the same height are provided in order to stably support the lifting unit and the material processing device.

[0031] According to one embodiment, a stop element of the lifting unit rests against one of the machine beams in the lifted position, in particular with the machine beam being arranged between the stop element and the roller rail. Due to its stability, the machine beam is particularly well suited as a counter-bearing for the stop element.

[0032] The lifting unit can comprise at least one alignment element, wherein the lifting unit, in particular the base plate and / or the roller rail, is aligned with the machine beams by means of the at least one alignment element. This allows the lifting unit to be positioned in a defined position within the machine system. For example, the lifting unit can also be used in different machine systems and aligned in a defined position by means of the at least one alignment element.

[0033] The intermediate piece of the lifting unit, which implements the articulated mounting of the roller rail, is preferably mounted in an articulated manner on the at least one machine beam and on the roller rail. Mounting the intermediate piece on the machine beam and not on the base plate provides the advantage that the roller rail can extend beyond the base plate on both sides in the lifted position. This provides particularly good support for the material processing device during lifting.

[0034] The object is further achieved according to the invention by a method for lifting an electrochemical material processing device from a machine system with a lifting unit as described above, wherein the at least one roller rail of the lifting unit is first tilted in order to lift the material processing device on one side from the support surface and only then is it brought into the final lifting position.

[0035] Due to the presence of the electrolyte, adhesion typically occurs between the material processing device and the support surface of the lifting unit. By tilting the roller rail or releasing the material processing device from the support surface on one side, these adhesion forces can be easily overcome without great effort.

[0036] In particular, the material processing device is not lifted purely parallel to the support surface. This optimizes the leverage during lifting and requires less lifting force.

[0037] In the tilted state, which is an intermediate position between the operating position and the lifted position, the roller rail is inclined to the support surface and extends at least a short distance beyond the support surface. The roller rail is pivoted about an axis that runs transversely to the longitudinal extent of the roller rail, particularly at the articulated end of the roller rail. Tilting about an axis parallel to the longitudinal extent of the roller rail is preferably avoided, as this would reduce the support surface of the material processing device on the roller rail.

[0038] In particular, the roller rail is tilted in such a way that the output end, particularly the non-articulated end, is at a greater distance from the support surface than the other end. As a result, the roller rail slopes backward when viewed from outside the machine system. This has the advantage that the material processing device cannot accidentally roll out of the machine system when being lifted.

[0039] For example, when the roller rail is tilted, the free end of the roller rail has a greater distance from the support surface than the articulated end.

[0040] By means of the lifting unit according to the invention and the method according to the invention, even devices weighing 150 kg or more can be changed without any problems.

[0041] Further advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description and the accompanying drawings, to which reference is made. [0042] The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 show a machine system 10 according to the invention, in which a box-like, electrochemical material processing device 12 is arranged, which can be exchanged for processing different workpieces.

[0043] The Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 the machine system 10 in a different state during an exchange of the material processing device 12.

[0044] During electrochemical machining of a workpiece, the workpiece is polarized as the anode and a corresponding tool as the cathode. To machine the workpiece, the presence of an electrolyte is required. Therefore, the material processing device 12 comprises a container 13 with a receiving space into which an electrolyte can be supplied and in which a workpiece can be electrochemically machined.

[0045] The material processing device 12 also comprises a fluid connection piece 14, via which an electrolyte can be supplied to the container 13.

[0046] A distribution system can be incorporated into a lower plate 15 of the material processing device 12, which forms a bottom of the container 13, to specifically distribute the electrolyte in the material processing device 12. The distribution system is not visible in the figures.

[0047] The machine system 10 typically has a housing 17 in which the material processing device 12 is housed during operation. This is shown in the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 is shown schematically.

[0048] Furthermore, the machine system 10 comprises two, in particular horizontally extending, machine beams 16 and a lifting unit 18, wherein the lifting unit 18 is mounted on the machine beams 16. The lifting unit 18 serves to lift the material processing device 12 in order to replace it.

[0049] For a detailed description of the lifting unit 18, see Fig. 3, which shows the lifting unit 18 and the machine beams 16 of the machine system 10 in a perspective view.

[0050] The lifting unit 18 has a support surface 20 on which the material processing device 12, in particular the plate 15, rests during operation of the machine system 10. In particular, the support surface 20 is formed on a base plate 22.

[0051] The base plate 22 has a central bore 23 which serves as a fluid connection. This means that the fluid flow is provided via the bore 23 and the Fig. An electrolyte can be supplied to the material processing device 12 via the fluid connection piece 14 shown in Figure 1.

[0052] In addition, the lifting unit 18 comprises two roller rails 24, each of which can be moved from an operating position which is Fig. 3, and a lifting position, which for example in Fig. 2 is illustrated, are adjustable.

[0053] In the operating position, the roller rails 24 are arranged below the support surface 20 or flush with the support surface 20. In particular, the roller rails 24 are recessed into the base plate 22 in the operating position. For this purpose, the base plate 22 has recesses 25, which extend, in particular, over the entire length of the base plate 22.

[0054] However, the roller rails 24 are not completely accommodated in the base plate 22, but rather they extend beyond the base plate 22 on both sides when viewed in the longitudinal direction.

[0055] In the lifting position, the roller rails 24 extend beyond the support surface 20 and lift the material processing device 12.

[0056] Each of the roller rails 24 is formed by two lateral rails 27, between which several rollers are rotatably mounted.

[0057] The roller rails 24 are articulated, in particular pivotably mounted, at one end, by means of an intermediate piece 28.

[0058] For this purpose, the intermediate piece 28 is pivotally attached to the roller rail 24 at one end. The other end of the intermediate piece 28 is pivotally mounted to the machine beam 16. For example, a pivot joint is provided at each end of the intermediate piece 28.

[0059] In addition, the lifting unit 18 has a lever-like actuating unit 26 by means of which the roller rails 24 can be moved from the operating position into the lifting position.

[0060] The actuating unit 26 has, for example, a rotatably mounted camshaft 29 which is designed such that the roller rails 24 can be moved from the operating position into the lifted position by a rotation of the camshaft 29.

[0061] The camshaft 29 preferably runs transversely to the roller rails 24, in particular perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the roller rails 24.

[0062] The camshaft 29 is received in the base plate 22, more precisely in a groove 31 which extends in particular transversely to the longitudinal extent of the roller rails 24 in the base plate 22.

[0063] Instead of a camshaft 29, the actuating unit 26 can also have an eccentric.

[0064] The actuating unit 26 also has a lever 30 that is operatively connected to the camshaft 29, such that the camshaft 29 is rotated by a defined angle upon actuation of the lever 30. In particular, the lever 30 is firmly fixed to the camshaft 29.

[0065] Two stop elements 32 are provided on each of the roller rails 24, which limit a movement of the roller rails 24, in particular a movement beyond the lifted position.

[0066] The stop elements 32 are realized by a transverse web 34 which runs at a distance from the roller rail 24 and transversely to a longitudinal extension of the roller rail 24.

[0067] In particular, the stop elements 32 run below the machine beams 16 or the machine beams 16 run between the roller rails 24 and the stop elements 32. This means that in the lifted-out position, the crossbars 34 of the stop elements 32 rest on an underside of the machine beams 16.

[0068] For fastening the crosspieces 34, two holding arms 35 extend from the roller rails 24 per crosspiece 34 in the direction of the machine beam 16 and beyond it, wherein the crosspiece 34 is fastened between the two holding arms 35, for example by means of a screw connection.

[0069] The support arms 35 are preferably formed integrally with the rails 27. For example, two support arms 35 are provided on each rail 27, spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction.

[0070] The Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 show the lifting unit 18 and the machine beams 16 from Fig. 3 in a sectional view along the line AA in Fig. 3. The roller rails 24 are in Fig. 4 shown in the operating position and in Fig. 5 in the lifted position, i.e. in the raised state.

[0071] In the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 also shows a cam 36 of the camshaft 29. When the actuating unit 26 is not actuated and the roller rails 24 are in the operating position, the cam 36, i.e., its projecting portion, extends in a direction parallel to the longitudinal extent of the roller rail 24. When the actuating unit 26 is actuated and the roller rails 24 are in the raised position, the cam 36 extends in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the roller rail.

[0072] In addition, in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 illustrates the position of the camshaft 29 in detail. The camshaft 29 is mounted, in particular, between the machine beams 16 and the roller rails 24, such that the camshaft 29 is in contact with, or can come into contact with, both the machine beams 16 and the roller rails 24.

[0073] The groove 31, which is formed in the base plate 22 for receiving the camshaft 29, is widened for this purpose in the region of the roller rails 24 and extends over the entire height of the base plate 22. This means that the base plate 22 has a continuous recess 38 in an area where the roller rails 24 and the camshaft 29 intersect.

[0074] A longitudinal axis of the camshaft 29 preferably runs approximately centrally, in particular exactly centrally, to the roller rails 24.

[0075] The lifting unit 18 further comprises a plurality of alignment elements 40, 42, which serve to align the lifting unit 18 in the machine system 10, more precisely on the machine beams 16.

[0076] The alignment elements 40, 42 are each attached at one end to the lifting unit 18 and guided at the other end in a guide 44 on the machine beams 16.

[0077] For example, an alignment element 40 is attached to the base plate 22.

[0078] A further alignment element 42 is attached, for example, to an insert 46, which serves to support the intermediate piece 28 and is accommodated in the machine beam 16. This alignment element 42 is indirectly coupled to the roller rail 24 and therefore serves to align the roller rail 24.

[0079] The base plate 22 and the roller rails 24 can therefore be aligned independently of each other.

[0080] The Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 show the lifting unit 18 in a further sectional view, along the line BB in Fig. 3. The roller rails 24 are in Fig. 6 shown in the operating position and in Fig. 7 in the lifted position, i.e. in the raised state.

[0081] In the Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 it can be seen that the actuating unit 26 has, in addition to the lever 30, a pneumatic element 48. This can be accommodated in a housing 50 which is arranged below the base plate 22 (see also Fig. 3).

[0082] The pneumatic element 48 enables automatic actuation of the actuating unit 26.

[0083] The pneumatic element 48, like the lever 30, can be operatively connected to the camshaft 29 such that, upon actuation of the pneumatic element 48, the camshaft 29 is rotated by a defined angle, for example, by 90°. In the illustrated embodiment, the pneumatic element 48 is connected to the camshaft 29 via an additional joint 52.

[0084] The pneumatic element 48 is attached to the housing 50 with its end facing away from the camshaft 29.

[0085] The pneumatic element 48 is, for example, a pneumatic muscle which is stretched in the unactuated state and contracted in the actuated state, as shown in Fig. 7. To contract the pneumatic element 48, it is subjected to a pressure, for example, a pressure of 5 bar to 7 bar.

[0086] When the pneumatic element 48 is contracted in length, its diameter increases simultaneously. This allows the housing 50 to serve as a stop for the pneumatic element 48. This means that when the maximum desired contraction of the pneumatic element 48 and thus the maximum desired rotation of the camshaft 29 is reached, the pneumatic element 48 rests against at least two opposite walls of the housing 50, as shown in Fig. 7. This prevents the camshaft 29 from rotating too far when the pneumatic element 48 is actuated. This prevents the roller rails 24 from being pushed back into their home position by the weight of the material processing device 12 and the stretching force of the pneumatic element 48 when the pneumatic element 48 is depressurized.

[0087] In an alternative embodiment of the lifting unit 18, the actuating unit 26 can only Fig. 3 to 5 or only the pneumatic element 48.

[0088] The following is based on the Fig. 1 to 7 describe the changing of a material processing device 12 and the operation of the lifting unit 18.

[0089] Before removing or changing the material processing device 12, the electrolyte present in the material processing device 12 is preferably first drained via the fluid connection.

[0090] The actuating unit 26 is then actuated, in particular by manually pivoting the lever 30 or by contracting the pneumatic element 48. In particular, the actuating unit 26 can be operated either automatically or manually.

[0091] The camshaft 29 is rotated by a defined angle, namely from the Fig. 4 shown position into the Fig. 5 shown position or from the one in Fig. 6 shown position into the Fig. Position shown in Figure 7. For example, camshaft 29 is rotated by 90°.

[0092] The cam 36 of the camshaft 29 is brought into a position in which it is supported on the machine beam 16 and thereby lifts the camshaft 29 from the machine beam 16, as shown in Fig. 4. This raises the roller rails 24.

[0093] Alternatively, the cam 36 can be moved into a position where it directly lifts the roller rail 24. In this case, the camshaft 29 is supported on the machine beams 16.

[0094] The Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 and 6 and 7 respectively illustrate an end position of the roller rails 24, more precisely the operating position and the lifting position.

[0095] In order to enable the material processing device 12 to be changed as easily as possible, it is also relevant how the roller rails 24 are raised.

[0096] In particular, the roller rails 24 of the lifting unit 18 are initially tilted according to the invention in order to lift the material processing device 12 from the support surface 20 on one side. Only then are the roller rails 24 brought into the final lifting position. This intermediate position of the roller rails 24 is in Fig. 1 illustrates.

[0097] By tilting the roller rails 24, the material processing device 12 can be released from the support surface 20 more easily than if the roller rails 24 were raised purely in parallel.

[0098] Between the support surface 20 and the material processing device 12, or more precisely between the support surface 20 and the plate 15 of the material processing device 12, there is usually a thin liquid film, which is created by a small amount of electrolyte creeping between the base plate 22 and the plate 15 during operation. This liquid film causes adhesion forces that make it difficult to lift the material processing device 12 from the support surface 20. These adhesion forces can be easily overcome by lifting the material processing device 12 from one side.

[0099] The tilting of the roller rails 24 is achieved, for example, in that the center of gravity of the material processing device 12 is arranged off-center in the operating position with respect to a center point of the roller rails 24, in particular in front of the center point of the roller rails 24 when viewed in a pull-out direction.

[0100] The tilting of the roller rails 24 is possible in particular due to the articulated mounting of the roller rails 24.

[0101] Preferably, the roller rails 24 are tilted in such a way that the front end of the roller rails 24 in the pull-out direction, i.e. the output-side end, in the tilted state of the roller rails 24 always projects further beyond the support surface 20 than the rear end of the roller rails 24 in the pull-out direction. This prevents the material processing device 12 from rolling out of the machine system 10 on its own.

[0102] When the roller rails 24 reach the lifted position, the stop elements 32 abut the machine beams 16. This prevents the roller rails 24 from being raised beyond a desired lifted position.

[0103] For example, the stop elements 32 are positioned such that they rest with the crosspieces 34 on the machine beams 16 shortly before the highest point, i.e., shortly before the roller rails 24 reach the lifted position. Further pulling of the lever 30 or further contracting of the pneumatic element 48 beyond the dead center ensures that the roller rails remain in the lifted position.

[0104] When the roller rails 24 are in the lifting position, the material processing device 12 can be pulled out of the machine system 10 on the roller rails 24 particularly easily and without great effort, as shown in Fig. 2 illustrates.

[0105] In this way, even particularly heavy material processing devices 12, in particular devices weighing 150 kg or more, can be changed without any problem.
