[0001] The present invention relates to a fitting for a sliding door with a threshold, on which a guide rail for rollers is provided on an underside of the sliding door, which is movable between a raised position and a lowered position, wherein the sliding door is movable in the raised position of the guide rail and is fixed to the threshold in the lowered position.

[1] Fitting for a sliding door (3) with a threshold (2) on which a guide rail (8) for rollers (6) is provided on an underside of the sliding door (3) which is movable between a raised position and a lowered position, wherein the sliding door (3) is movable in the raised position of the guide rail (8) and is fixed to the threshold (2) in the lowered position, characterized by that the running rail (8) in the lowered position is at least partially covered on its upper side by at least one strip-shaped cover element (10).
