Description

The invention relates to a handling device for handling boards or other flat workpieces.Plywood products have increased in importance in recent decades and are nowadays also used as statically supporting elements in residential construction and also in municipal and industrial object construction.Nowadays, such board plywood is usually produced industrially from boards as raw material for the individual layers. These boards are joined together by means of adhesive bonding, a board plywood panel being constructed with board plies or single-layer panels oriented at right angles to one another. The board plywood panels made of narrow-side glued panels or of loosely folded slats are subsequently folded into transverse layers or into longitudinal layers and glued together in order to introduce the corresponding cut-outs, necessary for example for doors or windows, into the panel composite after the gluing process. The last-mentioned production method is substantially more cost-effective, for which reason preferably continuous slats are put together and the cut-outs required for doors or windows, for example, are sawn out subsequently with panel processing. If handling devices are used for placing the plate-shaped workpieces together, these handling devices can only lift transverse layers or longitudinal layers, wherein, with changing plate widths, the non-occupied grippers of the grippers which can be placed against the plates must be protected from glue. From DE 299 05 552 U1 a handling device is already known which is specifically designed as a sealing lid removal device. The previously known handling device has a double-acting cylinder, referred to as a control strip, with a rod, the rod ends of which can be pushed uniformly out of a cylinder body on both sides and which carries a preferably uneven number of cross beams on which suction devices spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the beam are provided. While the cylinder body is held stationary on the central cross beam, the rod ends projecting on both sides each engage one of the outer cross beams, wherein the intermediate inner cross beams are moved along relative to the cylinder body by means of a stop strip during the extension and retraction of the rod until the extension movement of these inner cross beams is limited by the hole end of an elongated hole in the stop strip controlling the movement along. Since the distance between the suction strips can be varied, it is possible to retract these suction strips in a relative position in a carton or similar packaging container which is approached to one another and to lift a layer of lids from the packaging container there by means of the suction devices provided on the suction strips, in order subsequently, after the suction strips have been lifted and left from the packaging container or the like, to be able to bring these suction strips back to a distance such that the lids held on the control devices no longer touch one another.A change of the relative position of the suction devices provided on one of the suction strips to one another and a variation of the distance of the suction strips which are held on the control strip and are adjacent to one another is neither possible nor necessary in the previously known handling device.DE 3 038 509 A1 discloses a plant for setting stone moldings, with the aid of which the stone moldings produced in a molding press and coming from this molding press can be deposited with predetermined stone formats on a setting platform according to a setting program. The previously known installation has for this purpose depositing tables for the preliminary reception of the stone moldings discharged from the molding press, wherein a transfer suction device, which can be moved in the belt longitudinal direction as far as above the conveyor belt, is provided between the depositing tables and a conveyor belt and has articulated suction heads, which can be moved down against the depositing tables, moved up and moved down against the conveyor belt and have suction plates which can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis and about a horizontal pivot axis. The transfer suction device is provided for transferring the stone moldings located on the depositing tables to the transport belt. The previously known installation also has a transfer setting device which is intended for transferring the stone moldings conveyed by the conveyor belt and lined up one after the other thereon according to the setting program to the following setting platform. This transfer setting device has suction bars which can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the belt and transversely thereto and on which suction plates are provided in each case, which suction plates can be adjusted in the longitudinal direction of the bar into setting positions selected according to the respective setting program. In this case, the suction beams are suspended, with the interposition of a lifting device, on a chassis which can be moved transversely to the longitudinal direction of the strip as far as beyond the setting platform. In the known installation, a variable change in distance between the adjacent suction beams is neither provided nor necessary. These suction bars themselves can also be moved in the longitudinal direction of the belt and transversely thereto by means of running gears, and the suction plates can be adjusted to the intended setting positions on each suction bar.AT 14 110 U1 provides a system and a device for controlled removal and deposition of sheet-like workpiece blanks which have been produced on a sawing installation from a raw sheet using a blank optimization program. The prior art device operated according to the system described above comprises a central data processing device which interacts with the CPU of a manipulator. The manipulator has a plurality of suction knobs and also means for changing the position and controlling individual suction knobs, these means for changing the position not being described in more detail in AT 14 110 U1. In a preferred embodiment of the apparatus described in AT 14 110 U1, the CPU of the manipulator has a stack construction module which determines the depositing sequence and the depositing location on the depositing device of the plate-shaped blanks and passes on the position information for each blank part to the central data processing device. The grippers are connected to the at least one carrier at least via a respective braking and / or locking means.DE 10 2013 105 383 B3 discloses a device for the pneumatic holding and lifting of glass plates, comprising: at least two telescopic transverse support beams each having at least two telescopic members which are displaceable relative to one another by a transverse support beam drive and to which a suction device is fastened in each case; and a telescopic longitudinal support beam having at least two telescopic members which are displaceable relative to one another by a longitudinal support beam drive and to which one of the transverse support beams is fastened in each case.EP 3 031 586 A1 discloses a flexible gripping device for a system for stacking parts, comprising a plurality of support arms and a plurality of gripping elements fastened to the support arms, wherein each gripping element comprises a respective suction cup and at least some of the gripping elements are movable with respect to the respective support arm. Each support arm comprises at least one guide rail and each movable gripping element comprises a carriage movable in the corresponding guide rail, wherein the static frictional force between each carriage and the corresponding guide rail is such that the movable gripping elements are held immovable with respect to the support arms during the parts stacking operation.CN12076814 A discloses a suction manipulator having a plurality of individual suction cups, wherein the suction manipulator has an interface for fastening to a handling robot. It is therefore the object in particular to provide a handling device of the type mentioned at the beginning which can put the boards loosely put together in transverse or longitudinal positions together, optionally also with cut-outs, and move them as a complete position and, for example, can be inserted into a press bed.The solution according to the invention to this object consists in the handling device of the type mentioned at the beginning in the features of the applicable patent claim 1.The handling device according to the invention is intended for handling boards, plates or other flat workpieces. For this purpose, the handling device according to the invention has at least one longitudinal beam, preferably at least two longitudinal beams or guides, on which transverse beams or guides can be moved in such a way that the distance between the transverse beams can be changed. If the distance between the cross beams is shortened, for example, the handling device according to the invention can thereby be adapted to a reduced width of the composite to be glued to one another. It is also possible to increase the distance between individual, adjacent cross beams in such a way that these cross beams cut out the cutout required for a door or window opening and the suction beams located on these adjacent cross beams cannot come into contact with glue. The suction bars carried by the cross bars and which can be placed on the plate-shaped workpieces can be moved on the cross bar assigned to them in such a way that the distance between the suction bars held on a cross bar can be changed. Thus, the suction bars can also be moved on the cross bars assigned to them in such a way that the suction bars can be placed against the workpieces in a region of the workpieces arranged outside the cut-outs required for window or door openings. In order to be able to put these slats or other plate-shaped workpieces against one another in the transverse position or longitudinal position as required, the suction beams are rotatably mounted on the transverse beams assigned to them.In this case, an embodiment is preferred in which the suction beams are rotatable approximately at the same angle relative to the transverse beams assigned to them. By a corresponding position of the rotary drives assigned to each individual suction bar or by a mechanical connection of the suction bars, for example, line by line, as well as a common control of the rotary drives assigned to the suction bars mechanically positively connected to each other in a rotationally movable manner, such a rotation of the suction bars at the same angle can be made possible. In order to enable an alignment of the suction beams to a plate assembly formed in the longitudinal position or transverse position in a simple manner, it is advantageous if the suction beams are rotatable between a first rotational position arranged in the longitudinal extension of the transverse beam assigned to them and a second rotational position arranged transversely to the longitudinal extension of the transverse beam assigned to them. The movement of the suction bars held on the cross bars assigned to them is facilitated and the control required for this can be simplified if the suction bars can be moved on the cross bars assigned to one another in lines or rows.Further developments according to the invention will become apparent from the following description in conjunction with the claims and the drawing. The invention is described in more detail below with reference to a preferred exemplary embodiment. It shows: FIG. 1 shows a top view of a handling device for handling boards or other flat workpieces, wherein the handling device has two longitudinal beams on which transverse beams can be moved in such a way that the distance between the transverse beams can be changed, wherein the transverse beams carry suction beams which can be placed on the workpieces and which can be moved on the transverse beams assigned to them in each case in such a way that the distance between the suction beams held on one of the transverse beams can be changed, and wherein the suction beams are rotatably mounted on the transverse beams assigned to them, FIG. 2 shows the handling device from FIG. 1 in a side view onto the longitudinal side of this handling device, FIG. 3 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 and 2 in a side view of the end face of this handling device, FIG. 4 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 3 in a plan view, wherein the suction bars rotatably held on the transverse bars are rotated in such a way that these transverse bars can grasp longitudinally aligned workpieces which loosely bear against one another, wherein the distance between the transverse bars is selected such that a comparatively long composite of workpieces can be accommodated by the handling device, FIG. 5 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 4 in a plan view, wherein the distance between the transverse beams and the suction beams respectively held on them is selected to be so short that the composite formed from the longitudinally oriented workpieces is configured comparatively short on the longitudinal and narrow sides, FIG. 6 shows a composite of boards and in particular of plywood formed from longitudinally oriented workpieces, the cut-outs required for door and window openings already being provided in this composite, FIG. 7 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 6, wherein the transverse beams that can be moved along the longitudinal beams and the suction beams that can be moved on the transverse beams are aligned and adjusted in their distance from one another in such a way that the handling device can grasp the composite of workpieces shown in FIG. 6, wherein individual non-required transverse beams are mounted with their suction beams outside the composite of workpieces, FIG. 8 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 7 with the transverse beams movable on the longitudinal beams and carrying the suction beams, wherein the suction beams rotatably held on the transverse beam assigned to them are aligned in such a way that the handling device is set for removing transversely aligned workpieces, FIG. 9 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 8, wherein the distance of the cross beams from one another and the distance of the suction beams movable on the cross beams is selected to be so small that the handling device can also accommodate a workpiece composite having comparatively small external dimensions compared to FIG. 8, FIG. 10 shows a composite formed from transversely oriented workpieces which loosely abut one another, the cut-outs required for door and window openings already being kept free in this composite workpiece, and FIG. 11 shows the handling device from FIGS. 1 to 10 in a plan view, wherein the transverse beams that can be moved on the longitudinal beams and the suction beams that can be moved on the transverse beam assigned to them are arranged and aligned at a distance from one another in such a way that the handling device can also receive the workpiece composite shown in FIG. 10, and wherein the transverse beams that are not required for receiving this workpiece composite are mounted with their suction beams outside the region of the handling device formed by the workpiece composite.FIGS. 1 to 11 show a handling device 1 for handling boards, slats or other flat workpieces. The handling device 1 has at least two longitudinal beams or guides 2, 3 on which transverse beams or guides 4 can be moved in such a way that the distance between the transverse beams 4 can be changed. While the cross beams in FIGS. 4 and 8 have the greatest possible distance from one another, the cross beams that can be moved on the longitudinal beams 2, 3 are arranged in FIGS. 5 and 9 at the smallest distance in comparison therewith. It is clear from a comparison of FIG. 1 and of FIGS. 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11 that the cross beams 4 carry suction beams which can be placed on the workpieces 5 and which can be moved on the cross beam 4 assigned to them in such a way that the distance between the suction beams 6 held on one of the cross beams 4 can be varied. While the distance between the suction bars 6 which can be moved on their associated cross bars 4 is selected to be comparatively large in FIGS. 4 and 8, the distance between these suction bars 6 is kept to a minimum in contrast in FIGS. 5 and 9.It is clear from a comparison in particular of FIGS. 4 and 8 that the suction beams 6 are rotatably mounted on the cross beam 4 assigned to them. The suction beams 6 can thus be rotated between the first rotational position shown in FIG. 4 and arranged in the longitudinal extent of the cross beam 4 assigned to them and the second rotational position shown in FIG. 8 and arranged here transversely to the longitudinal extent of the cross beam 4 assigned to them. It is clear from a comparison of FIGS. 4 and 7 on the one hand and FIGS. 8 and 11 on the other hand that the suction beams 6 can thus be aligned in their longitudinal extent in such a way that the handling device 1 can be used selectively for receiving longitudinally or also transversely aligned workpieces 5. Whereas the handling device 1 in FIGS. 4, 5 and 7 is set for receiving longitudinally oriented workpieces 5, the handling device 1 in FIGS. 8, 9 and 11 is set, in contrast, for receiving transversely oriented workpieces 5.As is clear from a comparison of FIGS. 6 and 7 or 10 and 11, the distance between the cross beams 4 can be shortened in such a way that the handling device 1 is thereby adapted to a reduced width of the composite of workpieces to be glued to one another. It is also possible to increase the distance between individual cross beams 4 adjacent to one another in such a way that these cross beams 4 cut out the cutout 7, 8 required for a door or window opening and the suction beams 6 located on these adjacent cross beams 4 do not come into contact with glue. The suction bars 6 supported by the cross bars 4 and which can be placed on the workpieces 5 can be moved on the cross bars 4 assigned to them in such a way that the distance between the suction bars 6 held on one of the cross bars 4 can be changed. The suction bars 6 can thus also be moved to the cross bars 4 assigned to them in such a way that these suction bars 6 can be placed against the workpieces 5 in a cutout 7, 8 required outside the window openings or door openings. From a review together, in particular of FIGS. 4, 5, 7 on the one hand and of FIGS. 8, 9, 11 on the other hand, it becomes clear that the suction beams 6 can be moved on the transverse beams 4 in lines or rows 9 assigned to one another. In FIGS. 4, 5, 8, 9 it is shown that the cross beams 4 can be moved on the longitudinal beams 2, 3 in such a way that the distance between the cross beams 4 can be changed uniformly. With the aid of the handling device 1 shown here, the slats loosely folded in the transverse or also in the longitudinal position can optionally also be assembled with the cut-outs 7, 8 required for window or door openings or the like and inserted into a press bed as a complete position. Since the handling device 1 illustrated here thus permits the assembly of a composite of workpieces arranged in the transverse position or the longitudinal position, and since this composite can also have cut-outs 7, 8 without these cut-outs 7, 8 having to be sawn out only subsequently by panel processing, a time-saving and material-saving production of a workpiece composite glued together from slats, boards, board plywood panels or other flat workpieces is substantially facilitated.List of reference characters1 Handling device 2 Longitudinal beam or guide 3 Longitudinal beam or guide 4 Transverse beam or guide 5 Workpiece 6 Suction beam 7 Cutout for door opening 8 Cutout for window opening 9 Row or row of suction beams 6 held on the transverse beam 4
