Description

[0001] The invention relates to a load conveying device according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0002] A load-carrying device of the type mentioned above is known, for example, from patent document DE 10 2015 012 678 B4. This load-carrying device consists of a heavy load to be transported (not shown separately in the figures there) and frame parts for supporting the load, with a wheel provided on each side of the frame parts for tilting and rolling the load. In this solution, the wheels on both sides, and this can also be the case in the solution according to the invention, which will be explained below, are designed as so-called star wheels, so that transport up and down stairs is particularly easy. "Heavy" in this context and in the following refers to loads that an average person cannot or does not want to easily carry or transport by hand, i.e., typically loads weighing more than 20 kg.

[0003] The invention is based on the objective of improving a load-carrying device of the type mentioned above. In particular, a load-carrying device that is itself particularly easy to transport is to be created.

[0004] This problem is solved with a load conveying device of the type mentioned at the outset by the features listed in the characterizing portion of claim 1.

[0005] According to the invention, the load itself is designed as a load-bearing connecting element (but not as an ordinary component of such a load transport device [for example, a metal strut]) between a wheeled frame part arranged on one side of the load and a wheeled frame part arranged on the opposite side of the load, wherein an opening is provided on the load for receiving a pin arranged on the frame part.

[0006] In other words, the solution according to the invention is characterized by the fact that the load itself forms part of the load transport device, meaning that the device is only functional together with the load or can be used like a hand truck. Preferably, prior to the connection with the load, there are only two side parts, each consisting of a frame part and a wheel, which can be easily transported separately after being detached from the load.

[0007] Furthermore, it is particularly advantageous that a heating appliance, such as a boiler, especially one using gaseous or liquid fuels, constitutes the load. In other words, a heating installer keeps the two side panels in case they need to transport such an appliance. To do this, they attach the side panels to the load, as will be explained in more detail below, transport it to the desired location, and then remove the side panels, which, on their own, do not constitute a load-carrying device. Since the side panels are relatively small and light compared to a standard hand truck, they can be easily stored, for example, in a delivery vehicle.

[0008] Other advantageous embodiments of the load conveying device according to the invention are set out in the dependent claims.

[0009] For the sake of completeness, reference is also made to load transport devices, as can be found on Wikipedia: See https: / / de.wikipedia.org / w / index.php?title=Sackkarre&oldid=209031104.

[0010] Reference is also made to the patent documents US 6 575 481 B1, US 5 232 233 A and WO 1991 / 012983 A1.

[0011] The load conveying device according to the invention, including its advantageous further developments according to the dependent claims, is explained in more detail below with reference to the graphic representation of a preferred embodiment.

[0012] It shows Fig. 1. The load transport device according to the invention, not yet fully assembled, in perspective; Fig. 2. From a perspective view, the attachment of the frame part to the load in the area of the (not shown) wheel; Fig. 3. From a perspective, a frame part without load and without wheel; Fig. 4. In perspective, a frame part and a wheel aligned with the axis but not mounted; Fig. 5 in side view the load transport device according to the invention with two wheels in use; and Fig. 6. In perspective, the load transport device according to the invention with two star wheels is in use.

[0013] The load transport device shown in the figures initially consists in a known manner of a heavy load 1 to be transported and frame parts 2 for supporting the load 1, wherein a wheel 3 is provided on each side of the load 1 on the frame parts 2 for tilting and for rolling transport of the load 1.

[0014] Essential for the load transport device according to the invention is that the load 1 itself is designed as a load-bearing connecting element between a frame part 2 arranged on one side of the load 1 and equipped with a wheel 3, and a frame part 2 arranged on the opposite side of the load 1 and also equipped with a wheel 3.

[0015] Furthermore, an opening 1.1 is provided on the load 1 for receiving a pin arranged on the frame part 2.

[0016] Additionally, it is preferred that an axle 4, extending horizontally during normal use of the load-carrying device, is arranged to attach the wheel 3 to the frame part 2. The axle 4 is preferably designed to project from the frame part 2 not only in the direction of the wheel, but also in the direction of the load 1, see [reference]. Fig. 2. It is also preferred that the axis 4 partially forms the (mentioned) pin.

[0017] Furthermore, it is preferred that the frame part 2 is designed as a straight support, with a handle 2.1 at one end of the support and the wheel 3 at the other end of the support, see Fig. 1. Furthermore, it is preferred that the load 1 and the frame parts 2 are designed to be connectable to each other at several connection points 5, see Fig. 1 and Fig. 3. It is preferred that a first connection device 6, designed as a screw connection, is provided at a connection point 5. This enables a particularly stable fastening of the load 1 to the frame parts 2. Furthermore, it is preferred that the screw connection is formed from a fixing screw 6.1, a through-hole 6.2 in the frame part 2 and a threaded bore 6.3 in the load 1, see Fig. 2, wherein the fixing screw 6.1 is preferably designed to be tool-free and manually operable. It is also preferred that several connection points 5, in particular through-openings 6.2, are arranged distributed on the frame part 2 to accommodate different load sizes 1. Additionally, it is preferred that at least one screw connection is provided on both the wheel side and the handle side of each frame part 2.

[0018] Furthermore, it is preferred that a second connection device 7, designed as a plug connection, is provided at another connection point 5. Such a plug connection enables a particularly simple and quick connection of the load 1 to the frame parts 2. The plug connection preferably includes the axle 4 of the wheel 3, see figure. Fig. 2 and Fig. 4. It is also preferred that the axes 4 of the two frame parts 2 are arranged lying on a line when the load transport device is used as intended.

[0019] Additionally, it is preferred that the load 1 is optionally designed in a cuboid shape and / or that the load 1 is designed as a heating device.

[0020] Finally, it is also preferred that both wheels 3 are designed as star wheels, see Fig. 6. This has the advantage that the load transport device according to the invention enables particularly convenient transport of the load 1 via stairs.

[0021] The assembly and disassembly of the load conveying device according to the invention, in a preferred embodiment, works as follows: In this example, the cuboid load 1 has openings 1.1 at its rear lower edge. A transporter first tilts the load 1 slightly forward over its front lower edge. Next, the two frame parts 2 are inserted into the corresponding opening 1.1 of the load 1, with the side of the axle 4 facing away from the wheel 3 in place. The frame parts 2 are then rotated within the openings 1.1 about their axes 4 so that one of the through-holes 6.2 aligns with a threaded hole 6.3 on the load 1. Finally, a fixing screw is inserted through the through-holes 6.2 into the corresponding threaded hole 6.3 and tightened by hand.

[0022] In this state, the transporter can now grasp the handles 2.1 of the load transport device, tilt the device backwards around the axes 4 and drive off with it.

[0023] Once the transporter has reached the destination, he can, in principle, reverse the process described above to disassemble the load handling device and set down the load 1. Due to their relatively low weight, he can then easily pick up the frame parts 2 and, due to their comparatively small volume, store them in a space-saving manner.

[0024] As can be clearly seen from this, the load transport device according to the invention is therefore designed to be very space-saving and lightweight, yet easy to assemble and use.
