Abstract
Description
BackgroundTechnical area
[0001] The disclosure relates to a leg frame of an electric table, in particular to a support structure for a leg frame of an electric table. Description of the related field
[0002] To accommodate different body types, heights, and habits, fixed table designs have been replaced by users. Electric height-adjustable desks have become the mainstream and trend in modern design. By adjusting the height, the desks can be adjusted for comfort to users of different heights and body types.
[0003] Prior art leg frames for electric tables, such as the inventor's granted utility model patents TW M 486 995 U, TW M 504 506 U, and TW M 560 241 U, each include a support structure, a pair of telescopic columns, and a pair of side wings. The support structure is assembled by connecting two rectangular tubes at a distance, and a receiving recess is formed between the two rectangular tubes.
[0004] However, in order to ensure the leg frame has considerable strength, connecting the rectangular tubes to form the supporting structure not only requires complicated processes, but also results in the finished leg frame being heavy, which is detrimental to its movement or transportation. Furthermore, such a heavy weight prevents material costs from being effectively reduced and impacts economic profit.
[0005] US 2021 / 0 100 355 A1 describes a height-adjustable table frame with a tabletop and a frame comprising a longitudinally adjustable longitudinal member, two cross members, height-adjustable legs, and feet mounted thereon. The longitudinal member is divided into a central section and two longitudinally adjustable end sections. A motor unit integrated into the longitudinal member drives the legs synchronously via a telescopic drive shaft, with a locking pawl system enabling a tool-free connection between the frame and legs.
[0006] DE 20 2021 104 143 U1 describes a frame for an electric desk with a support structure, two telescopic columns, and two side components. The telescopic columns with integrated motors are attached to the support structure via positioning grooves and screw elements, and the side components stabilize the motors. A control unit can be inserted and removed without tools via a mounting opening.
[0007] WO 2015 / 180 724 A1 describes a frame for an electric desk with a support structure comprising a lower frame and two upper frames, two telescopic columns with motors and two side components, wherein metal sheet plates with a U-shaped cross-section are combined and electrical cables are hidden.
[0008] DE 10 2022 108 071 A1 describes a leg frame for an electric table, consisting of a lightweight support structure, a pair of telescopic supports with electric motors, and a pair of side wings. The support structure is constructed from a first frame and a second frame. The first frame is made of a metal plate and has upper plates, inner and outer side plates, and mounting plates, between which grooves are provided for sliding intermediate plates of the second frame. Summary
[0009] An object of the disclosure is to provide a support structure for a leg frame of an electric table that utilizes the arrangement of each frame to maintain stability and reduce weight to further reduce material costs.
[0010] To achieve the above object, the disclosure provides a support structure for a leg frame of an electric table, including a first frame and a second frame. The first frame includes an inner bottom plate, two inner side plates that are bent upward and extend from two sides of the inner bottom plate, and two inner embedding plates that are bent and extend from the inner side plates, respectively. The inner embedding plates are each formed on the outer side of the inner side plates. The inner embedding plate includes an exposed portion. The second frame is movably connected to the first frame. The second frame includes an outer bottom plate, two outer side plates that are bent upward and extend from two sides of the outer bottom plate, and two outer connecting plates that are bent outward and extend from the outer side plates, respectively. The inner bottom plate is formed over the outer bottom plate. The inner side plates are each formed on the inside of the outer side plates. The inner embedding plate is embedded in the outer connecting plate. The exposed portion is exposed from the outer connecting plate.
[0011] The disclosure further has the following features. Due to the coplanar nature of the platform of each inner embedding plate and the outer connecting plate, and the rigidity of the tabletop, the weight of the support structure can be effectively reduced. The inner embedding plates are each movably connected to the slots, so the disclosure can be widely applied to tabletops of various lengths and specifications. Due to the coplanar nature of the lower platform of the inner base plate and the outer base plate, the time and labor costs of on-site assembly can be saved when connecting each telescopic column to the support structure. Brief description of the drawings Fig. 1 is a schematic view of the support structure of the disclosure applied to a leg frame of an electric table and connected to a table top; Fig. 2 is an assembly view of the support structure of the disclosure applied to a leg frame of an electric table and connected to a table top; Fig. 3 is a schematic assembly view of the support structure of the disclosure; Fig. 4 is an exploded view of the support structure of the disclosure; Fig. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the support structure of the disclosure; and Fig. 6 is a partially assembled cross-sectional view of the inner embedding plate and the outer connecting plate of the disclosure.
