Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a spreading device for an agricultural spreading vehicle and to an agricultural spreading vehicle with at least one spreading device.
[0002] A spreading unit for an agricultural spreader vehicle, as well as an agricultural spreader vehicle with two such spreading units, is known, for example, from DE 198 17 742 A1. It comprises a spreading disc and spreading vanes. Perforations in the spreading disc are provided behind the spreading vanes in the working direction to reduce air turbulence behind the spreading vanes. The spreading vanes can be designed in two parts, thus allowing for variable length, or angle adjustment, to change the throwing distance and thus the working width.
[0003] The disadvantage of the conventional spreading system is that changing the length of the spreading vanes is complex and time-consuming, especially when changing multiple vanes simultaneously. This makes adaptation to changing conditions, both in terms of the material being spread and the agricultural area being cultivated, possible, but cumbersome and complex to operate.
[0004] The invention is based on the object of further improving the achievable throwing distance and thus also the achievable spreading width.
[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention by a spreading device according to claim 1, as well as by an agricultural spreading vehicle according to claim 10. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0006] The spreading device according to the invention for an agricultural spreader vehicle has at least one spreading disc and a plurality of spreading vanes, wherein the spreading vanes extend over a first surface of the spreading disc, which can be acted upon by spreading material. In other words, the spreading vanes protrude from the first side or surface of the spreading disc in the direction of the spreading material, e.g. upwards. According to the invention, at least one of the spreading vanes also extends onto a second surface of the spreading disc, which is substantially opposite the first surface, e.g. downwards. As a result, when the spreading disc is rotated, an air flow is generated on the second surface, e.g. underneath, towards an outer edge of the disc. This air flow can significantly increase the achievable throwing distance for very light spreading material, e.g. light compost or lime. For very heavy spreading material, e.g.However, with heavy stacked manure, the increase in size may be very small or even nonexistent due to the higher relative weight of the spreading material. This allows the achievable throwing distance and thus also the achievable spreading width to be easily improved depending on the spreading material.
[0007] Since at least one of the spreading vanes extends to the second surface of the spreading disc, only one of the spreading vanes can extend there, or several, or all of them. If all of them extend the same distance, a particularly consistent airflow can be achieved, maximizing the positive effect on the achievable spreading width. If only one or more of them extend there and / or by only partially equal amounts, a specific airflow can be achieved, depending on the design, which can result in a specifically advantageous spreading pattern for specific materials.
[0008] The term “throwing vane” should be understood here not only as a flat plate, but rather as any throwing geometry particularly suitable for throwing grit, which, particularly above the first surface, can correspond to all common or advantageous throwing vane shapes.
[0009] In an advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, at least one of the spreading vanes extends through a recess in the spreading plate, wherein the recess extends over the second spreading plate and the spreading vane extends through the recess. This enables an alignment of the spreading vanes that is both precise and easy to achieve. This makes it very easy to improve the throwing distance and thus also the achievable spreading width depending on the spreading material. In particular, an amount of extension above the first area can be adjusted. This allows the throwing distance and thus also the spreading width to be improved even more precisely depending on the spreading material, e.g. since a larger available spreading vane area can be used for heavy spreading material with a larger amount, and a smaller available spreading vane area can be advantageous for lighter spreading material.
[0010] In a further advantageous development of the inventive solution, an air guide plate is arranged below the second surface of the spreading plate. Particularly advantageously, the air guide plate can be designed to complement the shape of the spreading plate. This allows a particularly targeted air flow to be achieved through the defined available volume between the spreading plate and the air guide plate. The complementary shape makes it particularly easy to dimension the achievable air flow.
[0011] In a further advantageous development of the inventive solution, the air guide plate is coupled to the spreading plate in a rotationally fixed manner, but is adjustable relative to the spreading plate, so that a distance between the air guide plate and the spreading plate is adjustable. The term "rotationally fixed" should be understood here in particular that when the spreading plate is driven in the direction of rotation, the air guide plate rotates with it due to the coupling with an identical rotational movement, and conversely, when the air guide plate is driven in the direction of rotation, the coupling of the spreading plates sets it in an identical rotational movement. This allows the achievable air flow (which still depends on a possible speed) to be influenced in a particularly convenient and targeted manner.
[0012] In a further advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, at least one of the spreading vanes is firmly connected to the air guide plate and extends through the recess in the spreading plate. As a result, by adjusting the distance between the air guide plate and the spreading plate, not only can the air flow be conveniently influenced, but the extent of the extension of the spreading vane above the first surface can also be adjusted at the same time. With a greater distance between the air guide plate and the spreading plate, the extent of the extension of the spreading vane above the first surface is also reduced. For particularly light and crumbly spreading material, the short extension, i.e. the comparatively smaller available spreading vane surface, can achieve additional comminution of the crumbly spreading material and, at the same time, the greatest possible air flow can be achieved. For heavy spreading materials, such as heavy stacked manure, the smallest distance between the air deflector and the spreading disc, and thus the greatest extension of the spreading vane above the first area, allows the largest available spreading vane area to be utilized. This allows the greatest throwing distance to be achieved with the largest available spreading vane area for heavy spreading materials, where the influence of the air flow is negligible in comparison. This allows the throwing distance and thus the spreading width to be adjusted even more precisely, depending on the spreading material, both easily and conveniently.
[0013] In a further advantageous development of the inventive solution, the spreading disc is arranged in a housing that is designed to direct an air flow in a targeted manner, at least in sections. This allows the air flow to be used particularly easily and precisely, thus allowing the desired spreading pattern to be defined with particular precision.
[0014] In a further advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the first surface of the spreading plate, onto which spreading material can be applied, consists of segments which are arranged at an angle of less than 180° to one another. This should apply in particular to segments lying opposite one another on their first surface as seen around the axis of rotation, but alternatively or additionally also to two segments arranged next to one another. The angle is particularly preferably between less than 180° and more than 90°. In simple terms, this makes it very easy to achieve a conically shaped spreading plate. Such a design already influences the achievable throwing distance per se, but it can also achieve a particularly advantageous orientation of the air flow according to the invention towards the spreading material, which further significantly improves the throwing distance.
[0015] In a further advantageous development of the inventive solution, a drive train for a rotary movement of the spreading disc and the spreading vanes for controlling a speed comprises a hydrostatic, mechanical, or power-split transmission. A hydrostatic transmission enables particularly optimized weight distribution, a mechanical transmission a particularly robust design, and a power-split transmission a particularly advantageously usable speed range.
[0016] In a further advantageous development of the solution according to the invention, the distance between the air guide plate and the spreading plate and / or a speed of the rotational movement of the air guide plate and the throwing flights can be adjusted by a control device, in particular by means of an interface to a tramline system or other control logic. This not only makes it particularly easy and precise to adjust the achievable throwing distance and thus also the achievable spreading width, but also makes it particularly effective to adapt to changing conditions regarding the spreading material to be spread. In particular, the aforementioned interface also makes it particularly easy to incorporate conditions of the agricultural area to be cultivated, and the air flow and thus, in turn, the achievable spreading width can be adjusted particularly precisely.
[0017] The task is also solved by an agricultural spreader vehicle with at least one spreading device according to one of the preceding paragraphs. An agricultural spreader vehicle is understood not only to mean a self-propelled spreader vehicle, but also, in particular, a corresponding trailer or attachment.
[0018] An embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing and is described in more detail below. It shows: Fig. 1 a rear view of a schematically illustrated spreading device according to the invention on an agricultural spreading vehicle in partial section.
[0019] The only Fig. 1 shows a spreading device 2 according to the invention on a corresponding agricultural spreading vehicle 7 in a highly schematic rear view.
[0020] The spreading device 1 comprises a conical spreading plate 2 and a plurality of spreading vanes 3. The spreading vanes 3 extend over a first surface of the spreading plate 2 which can be loaded with spreading material, as shown in Fig. 1 is upwards. All spreading vanes 3 also extend onto a second surface of the spreading disc 2, which is essentially opposite the first surface. In the example according to Fig. 1, this is clearly visible downward. As a result, when the spreading disc 2 rotates, an air flow is generated on the second surface, on the underside of the spreading disc 2, toward an outer edge of the disc. This air flow acts on the material being spread by the spreading mechanism 1 (not shown) and can increase the achievable throwing distance, especially with lighter spreading material.
[0021] As in Fig. 1, the spreading vanes 3 extend through a recess in the spreading plate 2 from the first surface to the second surface (in Fig. 1 not separately designated. An amount of extension above the first surface of the spreading plate 2 is adjustable in the present example. For this purpose, an air guide plate 4 is arranged below the second surface of the spreading plate 2. The air guide plate 4 is designed to complement the shape of the spreading plate 2. The air guide plate 4 is coupled to the spreading plate 2 in a rotationally fixed manner, but is adjustable relative to the spreading plate 2 so that a distance between the air guide plate 4 and the spreading plate 2 is adjustable. The spreading vanes 3 are firmly connected to the air guide plate 4 and extend through the recess in the spreading plate 2. The firm connection of the spreading vanes 3 to the air guide plate 4 is achieved in the present example by screw connections (not shown). As a result, by adjusting the distance between the air guide plate 4 and the spreading plate 2, the air flow can be conveniently influenced and, at the same time, the extent of the extension of the spreading vane 3 above the first surface can be adjusted. With a greater distance between the air guide plate 4 and the spreading plate 2, the extent of the extension of the spreading vane 3 above the first surface is also reduced. For particularly light and crumbly spreading material, the small extension, i.e. the comparatively smaller available spreading vane area, can achieve additional comminution of the crumbly spreading material and, at the same time, it can be thrown particularly far thanks to the greatest possible air flow. In this way, the throwing distance and therefore also the spreading width can be improved just as easily and conveniently even more precisely depending on the spreading material.
[0022] The spreading disc 2, like the air guide disc 4, is arranged in a housing 5, which is designed to direct an air flow in at least some sections, as schematically indicated in the upper right-hand area of the housing 5. This allows the air flow to be used particularly easily and precisely, thus allowing a desired spreading pattern to be defined with particular precision.
[0023] The agricultural spreading vehicle 7 comprises according to Fig. 1 precisely one spreading unit 1 with one spreading disc 2. However, an agricultural spreading vehicle 7 can also comprise a spreading unit 1 with two or more spreading discs 2, e.g., two arranged side by side. A possible configuration with two, four, or six spreading discs 2 (and also two, four, or six air deflectors 4, etc.) in a common housing 5 should also be considered a spreading unit 1 with two, four, or six spreading discs 2.
[0024] The first surface of the spreading disc 2, which can be subjected to spreading material, consists of segments 6, which are arranged at an angle of less than 180° and more than 90° to one another. In this case, both segments 6 which are opposite one another around the axis of rotation with their first surface in this angular range to one another, as well as two segments 6 arranged next to one another, are located. In the present example, this results in the conical shape of the spreading disc 2. The axis of rotation is in Fig. 1 is shown as a dot-dash line, is located centrally in the spreading unit 1 and runs vertically.
[0025] As in Fig. 1, a drive train for a rotary movement of the spreading disc 2 and the spreading vanes 3 for controlling a speed comprises a gearbox, in the example shown a hydrostatic gearbox. This allows the speed to be specifically adjusted in a particularly convenient manner. However, other variable drive systems can be used, e.g. a mechanical gearbox with variable ratio or a mechanical-hydraulic power-split gearbox. The distance between the air guide plate 4 and the spreading disc 2 and the speed of the rotary movement of the spreading disc 2 and the spreading vanes 3 can be adjusted by a control device which is located in Fig. 1 is connected to the transmission and to a distance adjustment device via data lines shown in dashed lines. The distance adjustment device can be implemented directly or indirectly by electromechanical or electrohydraulic systems (not specifically shown here).
[0026] This makes it easy to adapt to changing conditions both in terms of the spreading material to be spread and in terms of the agricultural area to be cultivated, and the achievable throwing distance and thus also the achievable spreading width can be significantly improved in a convenient way.
