Abstract

Valve base assembly (20) for an inner tube of a tire, in particular for an inner tube of a bicycle tire, comprising a valve base (24) that can be connected to an inner tube (12), a tubular valve stem (22) that is connected to the valve base (24), wherein the valve stem is inserted into a through-opening of the valve base (24), wherein the valve stem (22) is made of metal, wherein the valve base (24) has an outer part (26) with a dome-shaped attachment (28) and a plate-shaped fastening part (30) for fastening to the inner tube (12), and wherein a reinforcing sleeve (32) is arranged in the dome-shaped attachment (28) that defines the through-opening of the valve base (24) for inserting the valve stem (22), characterized in that the valve stem (22) has a circumferential projection (34).which rests on an upper surface of the dome-shaped attachment (28) and that a sealing ring (38) is arranged between an underside of the circumferential projection (34) and the upper surface of the dome-shaped attachment (28).
