Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle transmission with a parking lock device.
[0002] Vehicle transmissions typically include a parking lock device designed to prevent the vehicle from rolling undesirably. Such parking lock devices typically comprise a parking gear that is non-rotatably connected to a transmission shaft, such as a drive shaft or output shaft of the transmission. When the parking gear is locked, rotation of the parking gear is prevented. This, in turn, prevents movement of the transmission and thus prevents the vehicle from rolling. A parking lock pawl is often used to lock the parking gear. The parking lock pawl can be moved from a released position, in which the parking lock pawl and the parking gear are disengaged, to a locked position, in which the parking lock pawl and the parking gear are engaged. The parking lock pawl is usually pivoted so that it can be moved from the locked position to the released position and vice versa by pivoting the parking lock pawl. The parking lock pawl is usually moved from the released position to the locked position using a parking rod, with the parking rod acting mechanically on the parking lock pawl to move the parking lock pawl into the locked position. For this purpose, a parking rod, for example, has a conical, cartridge-shaped element which, under the action of its beveled surface on the parking lock pawl, pushes it into the locked position. The parking lock pawl is usually returned from the locked position to the released position via the ejection force exerted by the parking gear and by means of a return spring which moves the parking lock pawl into the released position when the parking rod is retracted.
[0003] Vehicle transmissions with a parking lock device are well known in the art. [0005] The object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle transmission with a novel parking lock device.
[0006] This object is solved by the subject matter of independent patent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
[0007] The vehicle transmission according to the invention comprises a parking lock device. The vehicle transmission has a transmission housing, wherein the transmission housing has a first housing component and a second housing component that is preferably detachably connected to the first housing component. The parking lock device has a parking gear mounted in the transmission housing, a parking lock pawl, and an abutment sleeve. The parking lock pawl can be transferred from a released position, in which the parking lock pawl and the parking gear are disengaged, to a locked position, in which the parking lock pawl and the parking gear are engaged. The abutment sleeve has a recess on its circumferential surface for receiving the parking lock pawl in the released position. Preferably, the parking lock pawl is also at least partially received in the recess in the locked position. The recess serves in particular to secure the position of the parking lock pawl.It is provided that the abutment sleeve is arranged between the two housing components in such a way that the two housing components fix the abutment sleeve in an axial direction of the abutment sleeve, wherein the abutment sleeve has a fixing pin protruding in the axial direction and the first housing component has a receptacle corresponding to the fixing pin, wherein the fixing pin engages with the receptacle in such a way that a rotational fixing of the abutment sleeve is effected.
[0008] This design eliminates the need for separate fastening elements, such as screw connections, simplifying the installation of the abutment sleeve or the entire parking lock device. This also makes it possible to design the parking lock device, especially the abutment sleeve, in a particularly compact and space-saving manner, allowing it to be installed in areas that are difficult to access, especially where screw connections are not possible.
[0009] Furthermore, a return spring is provided that interacts with the parking lock pawl, whereby the parking lock pawl is transferred from the released position to the locked position counter to a restoring force of the return spring. In principle, it is conceivable for the return spring, in the case of a pivotable parking lock pawl, to be mounted on a pivot point of the parking lock pawl. For packaging and / or assembly reasons, such a mounting of the return spring is not always possible. Therefore, in the vehicle transmission according to the invention, the abutment sleeve forms a counterbearing for the return spring, whereby the return spring is designed as a torsion spring and is pushed onto the abutment sleeve. Such a design offers an alternative package and advantages during assembly.
[0010] In particular, it is provided that the fixing pin is inserted into the receptacle in the axial direction.
[0011] It is considered particularly advantageous if the assembly of the abutment sleeve in the first housing component is carried out as a pure plug-in assembly.
[0012] It is considered particularly advantageous if the fixing pin is designed as a cylindrical pin.
[0013] Preferably, the receptacle is designed as a blind hole.
[0014] Ideally, the mount accommodates the fixing pin with a certain amount of play. This makes insertion and thus installation easier.
[0015] Preferably, the parking gear is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a shaft of the transmission, for example a drive shaft or output shaft or intermediate shaft of the transmission.
[0016] In a preferred embodiment, the abutment sleeve is supported on the first housing component in the axial direction and on the second housing component in the direction opposite to the axial direction, preferably at the ends. It is considered particularly advantageous if the abutment sleeve is held between the two housing components without play in the axial direction.
[0017] It is considered advantageous if the first housing component has a receiving pocket for the abutment sleeve. A receiving pocket is understood in particular to mean that when the abutment sleeve is inserted into the receiving pocket, side walls of the receiving pocket at least partially enclose the circumferential surface of the abutment sleeve, in particular in the load direction of the parking lock pawl. This achieves particularly stable mounting of the abutment sleeve and, in particular, prevents tilting of the abutment sleeve. Furthermore, assembly is facilitated because the receiving pocket forms a guide surface when inserting the abutment sleeve into the first housing component. In addition, radial fixation of the abutment sleeve is achieved.
[0018] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the torsion spring has a leg that projects radially inwards, and the abutment sleeve has a slot that extends from one axial end along the axial direction, the leg engaging with the slot and preferably passing through the slot. This makes it particularly easy to attach the torsion spring to the abutment sleeve. In particular, one axial end is the axial end facing the second housing component. Alternatively, instead of an axial slot, a radial through-opening, for example in the form of a bore, can be provided into which the leg is inserted. This design has the advantage that the leg is axially fixed in both directions.
[0019] In a particularly preferred embodiment, the abutment sleeve and the parking lock pawl are connected to each other via the torsion spring in such a way that an assembly unit that can be handled as a single unit is formed. This facilitates assembly and also allows for pre-assembly of the abutment sleeve, parking lock pawl, and torsion spring, thus facilitating the final assembly of the vehicle transmission.
[0020] It is considered particularly advantageous if the parking lock pawl can be pivoted about a pawl pin, preferably mounted in a stationary manner in the transmission housing, wherein the transfer of the parking lock pawl from the released position to the locked position and vice versa occurs by pivoting the parking lock pawl about the pawl pin. The pivot axis formed by the pawl pin can generally run parallel or perpendicular to the axial direction. Preferably, but not necessarily, the pivot axis formed by the pawl pin runs parallel to the axial direction. This design offers advantages with regard to assembly, particularly when using the aforementioned assembly unit. The parallel alignment of the pivot axis and the axial direction of the abutment sleeve offers the advantage that the assembly of the abutment sleeve and the insertion of the pawl pin take place in the same direction. In this context, it is considered particularly advantageous if the vehicle transmission, or more precisely the parking lock device, has a parking rod, wherein the parking rod is axially displaceable in the abutment sleeve for transferring the parking lock pawl from the released position to the locked position. Since the parking rod is also axially displaceable, this parking rod should also preferably be mounted axially, i.e., inserted axially into the abutment sleeve.
[0021] As an alternative to a movable parking rod, the parking rod can also be a rotary parking rod, for example a rotary parking rod with a cam contour.
[0022] Preferably, the parking rod acts mechanically on the parking lock pawl to transfer the parking lock pawl into the locked position. For this purpose, a parking rod, for example, has a conical cartridge-shaped element, which, under the action of the beveled surface on the parking lock pawl, forces it into the locked position.
[0023] It is considered particularly advantageous if the first housing component has a counter-bearing for the pawl bolt, wherein the counter-bearing has a first section and a second section which is spaced apart from the first section in the axial direction, wherein the parking lock pawl is arranged with an end receiving the pawl bolt between the first section and the second section, wherein the bolt passes through the end and engages with the first and the second section. This results in particularly good mounting of the parking lock pawl. In such an embodiment, it is considered particularly advantageous if, due to the restoring force of the torsion spring, when the pawl bolt is released, the end of the parking lock pawl is held between the two sections of the counter-bearing. In order to retain the counter-bearing sleeve orIn order to remove the assembly unit from the first housing component, it is therefore necessary to pivot the parking lock pawl relative to the counter bearing about the abutment sleeve. The rotational fixation of the abutment sleeve by means of the fixing pin enables this pivoting despite the coupling via the torsion spring. Due to the rotational fixation of the abutment sleeve, the distance between the two sections is preferably chosen to be at least wide enough that the abutment sleeve can be pulled out axially by the axial length of the fixing pin and then rotated. As soon as the end of the parking lock pawl has been pivoted out of the counter bearing, the abutment sleeve can be pulled out of the first housing component together with the parking lock pawl parallel to the axial direction. The assembly can be carried out in reverse. This design has the advantage that even when the second housing component is detached from the first housing component, unintentional removal or falling out of the abutment sleeve from the first housing component is prevented.
[0024] In a particularly preferred embodiment, it is provided that the abutment sleeve has a circular-cylindrical outer contour, wherein the fixing pin is formed radially offset to a central axis of the abutment sleeve.
[0025] The transmission may be a multi-speed transmission. However, it is also entirely conceivable that the transmission is designed as a single-speed transmission, especially if the motor vehicle is electric or partially electric.
[0026] The vehicle transmission with parking lock device according to the invention has the advantage that the assembly of the abutment sleeve is simplified, in particular, a simple plug-in assembly can be provided. The design according to the invention makes it possible to dispense with a separate screw connection for the abutment sleeve or additional components for securing the abutment sleeve.
[0027] The first housing component can be a housing base or lower housing part, and the second housing component can be a housing cover closing the housing base or a housing upper part closing the housing base, or conversely, the second housing component can be a housing base or lower housing part, and the first housing component can be a housing cover closing the housing base or a housing upper part closing the housing base. The housing components can, in particular, be housing halves.
[0028] The following figures illustrate the invention in more detail using an exemplary embodiment, without being limited to this embodiment. They show: Fig. 1 a vehicle transmission with a parking lock device in an interior view with the parking lock device in a locking position, Fig. 2 the vehicle transmission according to Fig. 1 in a sectional view with the parking lock device in a released position, Fig. 3 a partial area of the vehicle transmission in an interior view with the parking lock device in the released position, Fig. 4 the sub-area according to Fig. 3, with individual components hidden.
[0029] The Fig. 1 to 4 each show partial areas of a vehicle transmission with a parking lock device, wherein the parking lock device has a parking gear 1, wherein this parking gear 1 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to a drive shaft 2 of the vehicle transmission. The parking lock device further comprises a parking lock pawl 3, which is pivotable about a pawl pin 4. The parking lock pawl 3 can be transferred from a released position, in which the parking lock pawl 3 and the parking gear 1 are disengaged, into a locked position, in which the parking lock pawl 3 is engaged with the parking gear 1, namely by pivoting the parking lock pawl 3 about the pawl pin 4. The Fig. 1 shows the parking lock pawl 3 in the locked position. Fig. 2 and Fig. 3, however, the parking lock pawl 3 is shown in the released position.
[0030] The parking lock device has an abutment sleeve 5, wherein the abutment sleeve 5 receives the end of the parking lock pawl 3 facing away from the pawl pin 4 in the released position. For this purpose, the abutment sleeve 5 has a recess 6 on its circumferential surface, into which the parking lock pawl 3 pivots in the released position with an end facing away from the pawl pin 4. In the area of this end, the parking lock pawl 3 has a tooth 7 protruding toward the parking gear 1, wherein this tooth 7 engages with the teeth of the parking gear 1 in the locked position to lock it.
[0031] In order to effect the pivoting of the parking lock pawl 3, the parking lock device has a parking rod 8 which is displaceable in the axial direction in the abutment sleeve 5. The parking rod 8 is movable from a first axial position which is in the Fig. 2, into a second axial position in which the parking rod 8 is pushed further into the abutment sleeve 5. When the parking rod 8 is moved from the first position to the second position, a conical element 9 displaceably mounted on the parking rod 8 acts mechanically on the parking lock pawl 3 and urges it from the released position into the locked position. The conical element 9 and the parking rod 8 are coupled to one another via a compression spring 10 pushed onto the parking rod 8. This coupling ensures that the parking rod 8 can be moved even if the tooth 7 cannot engage the parking gear 1 due to the rotational position of the parking gear 1. In such a case, the compression spring 10 is tensioned when the parking rod 8 is retracted. As soon as the parking gear 1 in this state moves into a rotational position in which it is possible for the tooth 7 to engage the parking gear 1, the conical element 9 is displaced along the parking rod 8 by the spring force and presses the parking lock pawl 3 into the locking position.
[0032] The abutment sleeve 5 is fixed in the gearbox housing without separate connecting means, such as screws or other separately installed components. The gearbox housing has two housing components 11, 12, namely a first housing half 11 and a second housing half 12. Fig. 1 only the second housing half 12 is shown, whereas in the Fig.2 to 4, both the first housing half 11 and the second housing half 12 are shown in a connected state. The two housing halves 11, 12 can be connected to each other mechanically, for example, in particular by means of screws.
[0033] To hold the abutment sleeve 5 in position in the axial direction, the abutment sleeve 5 is arranged between the two housing halves 11, 12 and is supported in the axial direction on the first housing half 11 and in the opposite axial direction on the second housing half 12. Accordingly, the first housing half 11 and the second housing half 12 each form an end stop for the abutment sleeve 5, so that the abutment sleeve 5 is fixed in the axial direction of the abutment sleeve 5 via the two housing halves 11, 12.
[0034] For rotationally fixing the abutment sleeve 5 in the housing, thus preventing rotation of the abutment sleeve 5 about an axis of the abutment sleeve 5 formed in the axial direction, the abutment sleeve 5 has a fixing pin 13 protruding in the axial direction, said fixing pin 13 being radially offset from a central axis of the abutment sleeve 5. In this case, the fixing pin 13 is designed as a cylindrical pin which is permanently connected to the abutment sleeve 5 via a press fit. The abutment sleeve 5 is inserted into a substantially hollow-cylindrical receiving pocket 14 formed in the first housing half 11, said receiving pocket 14 having a blind hole 15 in the region of its base which corresponds to the fixing pin 13, said fixing pin 13 being inserted into the blind hole 15 with slight play. The fixing pin 13, which is inserted into the blind hole 15 and connected to the abutment sleeve 5, ensures rotational fixation of the abutment sleeve 5 in the first housing half 11. Accordingly, it is not necessary to attach the abutment sleeve 5 separately; rather, a simple plug-in assembly of the abutment sleeve 5 in the gear housing is realized.
[0035] The parking lock device has a torsion spring 16 which interacts with the parking lock pawl 3 and is pushed onto the abutment sleeve 5 in the axial direction. In this case, the torsion spring 16 and the abutment sleeve 5 are arranged coaxially, and the torsion spring 16 circumferentially encloses the abutment sleeve 5. The torsion spring 16 engages both the parking lock pawl 3 and the abutment sleeve 5, so that the parking lock pawl 3 pivots relative to the abutment sleeve 5 against a restoring force of the torsion spring 16. The torsion spring 16 is preloaded in the released position, so that the parking lock pawl 3 pivots from the released position into the locked position against the restoring force of the torsion spring 16. A free end of the torsion spring 16 is hooked into a receiving hole in the parking lock pawl 3. To fix the torsion spring 16 to the abutment sleeve 5, the torsion spring 16 has a leg 17 projecting radially inwards. The abutment sleeve 5 has a slot 18 extending from an end facing the second housing half 12 toward the first housing half 11, with the leg 17 being inserted into the slot 18. The torsion spring 16 can accordingly be mounted on the abutment sleeve 5 by sliding the torsion spring 16 onto the abutment sleeve 5 from the side of the abutment sleeve 5 facing the second housing half 12, with the free leg 17 being inserted into the slot 18 during this sliding operation.
[0036] In the embodiment shown in the figures, the first housing half 11 has a counterbearing for the pawl pin 4. The counterbearing has a first section 19a and a second section spaced apart in the axial direction. The parking lock pawl 3 is arranged with an end receiving the pawl pin 4 between the first section 19a and the second section. The pawl pin 4 passes through the end of the parking lock pawl 3 and engages with the first section 19a and the second section. The parking lock pawl 3 is arranged with a certain amount of play in the axial direction between the two sections 19a. When the second housing half 12 is detached from the first housing half 11 and when the pawl bolt 4 is released, the parking lock pawl 3 is held by the torsion spring 16 between the first section 19a and the second section, thereby preventing the abutment sleeve 5 from falling out of the first housing half 11.To dismantle the parking lock device, the parking lock pawl 3 must first be deflected accordingly.
[0037] In the present embodiment, the parking lock pawl 3, the abutment sleeve 5, and the torsion spring 16 are pre-assembled and can be handled as an assembly unit. This assembly unit can be assembled between the housing halves 11, 12 by first inserting the assembly unit into the first housing half 11. For this purpose, the parking lock pawl 3 is pivoted relative to the abutment sleeve 5 in order to guide it past the first section 19a and, after passing it, pivot it into the area between the two sections 19a. This pivoting is assisted by the restoring force of the torsion spring 16, so that the parking lock pawl 3 is held in position by the restoring force of the torsion spring 16. The pawl bolt 4 can then be inserted to secure this end of the parking lock pawl 3 in the first housing half 11 and form the pivot axis of the parking lock pawl 3.Subsequently, the second housing half 12 can be connected to the first housing half 11, whereby the abutment sleeve 5 is fixed in its axial position on the second housing half 12.
