Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a system for configuring a vehicle having a plurality of occupants, and to a vehicle having such a system.Man-machine interfaces in vehicles are conventionally used by a driver of the vehicle for vehicle guidance (steering, braking, acceleration). In an assisting manner, interfaces are typically also provided for subsystems such as the setting of an exterior vehicle lighting, a direction indicator or windscreen wiper. In modern vehicles, driver assistance systems and / or automatic driving control systems are typically additionally provided, which can generally be configured via certain parameters. Comfort functions in the vehicle, such as air conditioners, navigation systems, entertainment systems, interior lighting, and others, generally also have a large number of changeable parameters.Although individual settings are possible for several occupants of the vehicle, such as seat settings and different ventilation and temperature settings by means of zone climate control, human-machine interfaces known in the prior art have options for presettings, which are typically limited to the driver as a single person. This may possibly result in parameters in a subsystem of the vehicle that are adjustable by a respective human-machine interface that are suboptimal for some occupants of the vehicle, including unpleasant or improper ones. With increasing degree of automation in modern vehicles, the driver of the vehicle also increasingly assumes the role of a passenger. It is therefore an object of the invention to improve the handling of presets of vehicle subsystems of a multi-occupant vehicle. The invention results from the features of the independent claims. Advantageous refinements and refinements are the subject matter of the dependent claims.A first aspect of the invention relates to a system for automatically configuring a vehicle having a plurality of occupants, wherein the system is designed to configure parameters of a plurality of vehicle subsystems of the vehicle depending on individual preferences stored in association with potential individual occupants, and to identify current occupants, such that the preferences of the current occupants are known to the system, wherein the system is designed to use the preferences of a particular occupant in each case from the plurality of occupants for configuring the parameters of a respective one of the vehicle subsystems, and to determine the selection of the respective occupant for use of its preferences depending on a result of a comparison of the preferences of all occupants, wherein the comparison takes into account effects of a respective set parameter on a respective individual occupant. Thus, a system is advantageously provided in which a human-machine interface or a plurality of human-machine interfaces does not need / have to be extra operated, but rather are configured via presets that meet the individual requirements of a plurality of occupants in a vehicle.Several possibilities are possible here as to which individual occupant is used to configure a respective vehicle subsystem with his preferences. While certain individual occupants may be preferred, for example the driver / owner of the vehicle, which may be advantageous in commercial passenger transportation with rapidly changing further occupants, which may not be detected at all, in a vehicle such as a family car with recurring individual occupants it may be advantageous to select that occupant with the most critical preference.A critical preference is present in particular when an occupant reacts most sensitively relative to other occupants to the effects of a specific configuration of one of the vehicle subsystems, or when this respective occupant has defined the criticality (a value as critical its respective preference) even in a database of the system, or this value has been defined by another and stored in the database, or again alternatively, in particular, when the system has determined or determined this value itself by a machine learning model. If, for example, an occupant is injured, chronic diseases at joints, muscles or other body parts which lead to pain in the case of high accelerations, an automatic driving control system can be parameterized in such a way that the driving control is carried out with lower bandwidths, i.e. lower frequencies are present in the kinematic data, in particular high accelerations and high changes in accelerations are avoided. This can be achieved, for example, by running in curves with lower speed, reducing the acceleration to achieve higher speeds to a limit value which is below the physically possible one, braking it more early, etc.; dangerous situations must be taken into account by these configuration changes, since, for example, the physically maximum achievable deceleration is to be utilized in the case of emergency braking, and no consideration can be taken of the comfort in this case.By way of example, if an occupant also responds negatively to certain chassis settings, such as too soft or too hard chassis, then the chassis is set according to the preferences of this individual occupant. For example, if another occupant is very sensitive to high sound pressure levels, an audio system of the vehicle is limited in sound pressure level according to the preferences of that occupant. However, particular individual preferences can also be taken into account, for example if an occupant responds emotionally negatively to specific music styles, the music preferences of this occupant can be taken into account in order to avoid entries with unlieved music styles of a playback list. The preferences are preferably stored in a memory in the vehicle or in a cloud and can be used by the system after recognition of an individual occupant. This presupposes an identification of an individual occupant, which is preferably carried out by means of an occupant ID. Such an ID can be transmitted from a mobile terminal to the vehicle, but biometric recognition of an individual occupant can also take place, for example via a fingerprint sensor or via face recognition. If an individual occupant is detected, the preferences of this occupant stored in association are retrieved and compared with one another in the case of a plurality of occupants in the vehicle, so that individual occupant settings can be used for the configuration of vehicle subsystems. If a plurality of occupants have already stored their preferences together with their individual ascribableness in such a memory, it may also occur, for example, that some occupants have stored their preferences with respect to certain vehicle subsystems, but not for other vehicle subsystems. In such a case, the system preferably checks whether a plurality of occupants have already stored their preferences for a certain vehicle subsystem. If this is not the case, and only a single occupant has stored his preferences, these preferences can advantageously be used to configure the respective vehicle subsystem. If a plurality of occupants have stored their preferences for a certain vehicle subsystem, then a selection must be made (as explained above) in order to select the preferences of that occupant which are to be used in prioritised fashion in order to provide, in total, a driving experience which is as adequate as possible for all occupants.According to an advantageous embodiment, the plurality of vehicle subsystems has at least one of the following: driver assistance system, automatic driving control system, chassis setting, driving mode such as sport mode or comfort mode, navigation system with the setting possibility of a preferred route, entertainment system, brake assistant, automatic lane keeping system, volume setting of an audio system, ventilation system, temperature control system, window lifter position, interior lighting.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is designed to perform the individual identification of the respective occupant by means of a mobile terminal carried by the respective occupant or by biometric recognition of the respective occupant.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is configured to compare the pre-stored preferences of all individually identified occupants with respect to each vehicle subsystem and to use the preference of that occupant having the highest sensitivity of the occupant to the sequences of the set parameter.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is designed to use the preference of the occupant with the highest sensitivity of the occupant to negative consequences of the set parameter.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is designed to determine the highest sensitivity from weighted preferences and to determine the weighting of the preferences depending on the seat position of the respective occupant. The weights may be determined, for example, according to whether passengers are seated in the front row or the rear seat bank. For example, the driver may be given the highest weight, the passenger may be given the second highest weight, etc;According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is designed to predict preferences of an individual occupant by transmitted personal data or by data detected sensorially in the vehicle about the occupant. In particular, machine learning models are applied to predict preferences. These may be pre-trained, but may also be further improved during their product life cycle.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system is designed to predict preferences of an individual occupant only if no preferences for the individual occupant are stored.According to a further advantageous embodiment, the system provides an authorized person, such as the driver or owner of the vehicle, with a setting possibility that can limit the automatic use of preferences for configuring vehicle subsystems to a specific category of vehicle subsystems.A further aspect of the invention relates to a vehicle having a system as described above and below.Advantages and preferred refinements of the proposed vehicle result from an analogous and analogous transfer of the explanations given above in connection with the proposed system.Further advantages, features and details are evident from the following description, in which--possibly with reference to the drawing--at least one exemplary embodiment is described in detail. Identical, similar and / or functionally identical parts are provided with the same reference numerals. It shows: FIG. 1 : A system for configuring a vehicle with a plurality of occupants taking into account the individual interests according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention. The representations in the figure are schematic and not to scale.FIG. 1 schematically shows a situation in a vehicle 1 with a plurality of occupants 5. a modern vehicle 1 with a plurality of driver assistance systems 3 is in the case of manual operation and with optionally activatable automatic driving modes of a self-driving driving control system 3, in which intervention by the driver is generally not necessary. These driver assistance systems 3 and driving control systems 3 can be configured. For this purpose, the vehicle 1 has such a system that it is not only possible for the driver of the vehicle 1 to perform a configuration with the responsibility of the vehicle guidance, but it is also possible, depending on the preferences of further occupants 5 of the vehicle 1, to configure these driving control systems 3 and driver assistance systems 3 with their parameters. While this may be done by manual adjustment at a man-machine interface, the manual adjustment may also be done by automatic preselection by the system. For example, guided under ID- 3, the passenger 5 can react most intensively to highly dynamic driving styles at the front right, so that the system, because of this passenger 5, reduces the lateral acceleration in curves to a respective limit value by reducing the curve speed and the acceleration in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The system therefore, after identification of the individual occupants 5 in the vehicle 1, uses their IDs and associated preferences to use the best possible configuration for a plurality of further vehicle subsystems 3, for example the preferred route to a destination as preferred by occupant 5 with ID-2. Furthermore, in the system of the vehicle 1, a setting possibility is provided which in particular allows the driver 5 with the ID-1 of the vehicle 1 to reduce the automatic selection of preferences to categories of vehicle subsystems 3, for example chassis settings or parameters of an automatic driving control in the presence of imminent travel nausea of the occupant 5 with the ID-4 in the vehicle 1. The system has a database containing a list of ordinary occupants 5 with their respective ID (e.g., ID-1, ID-2, etc.). Preferences are stored in this database and these preferences, again mapped into quantified parameters, are stored for the configuration of the vehicle subsystems 3. As soon as an occupant 5 has been identified by the system, parameter values for configuring a vehicle subsystem 3 can be established according to their preferences. Since there are a plurality of occupants 5 in the vehicle, the preferences are compared for criticality, i.e. for self-defined negative reactions of the occupants 5 to the parameter values. In each case, the occupant 5 is selected which would have the most negative response with respect to a parameter of a configuration of a vehicle subsystem 3 compared to the other occupants 5 in a specific parameter range; a parameter range is therefore selected for the respective configuration of a specific vehicle subsystem 3 in order to avoid this particular negative experience of this specific occupant 5. Likewise, the critical preferences may include particular desires, for example if a passenger 5 desires a particular route as explained above, a particular volume, a particular air conditioning system setting, etc.; the criticality is also stored in the database of the system, so that the system can make a distinction from occupants 5 depending on the critical preferences.Although the invention has been illustrated and explained in more detail by preferred exemplary embodiments, the invention is not restricted by the disclosed examples and other variations can be derived therefrom by the person skilled in the art without departing from the scope of protection of the invention. It is therefore clear that a large number of possible variations exist. It is also clear that embodiments mentioned by way of example represent only examples which are not to be understood in any way as limiting, for example, the scope of protection, the possible applications or the configuration of the invention. Rather, the preceding description and the description of the figures enable the person skilled in the art to implement the exemplary embodiments in concrete terms, wherein the person skilled in the art, knowing the disclosed inventive concept, can make various changes, for example with regard to the function or the arrangement of individual elements mentioned in an exemplary embodiment, without departing from the scope of protection defined by the claims and their legal equivalents, such as further explanations in the description.List of reference characters1 Vehicle 3 Vehicle Subsystem 5 Occupant
