Abstract
The system for the vacuum conveying of bulk material, preferably plastic granules, has at least two sources and at least two consumers, which are connected to each other via feed lines and receiver lines. A manifold and a distribution line are located between the feed lines and the receiver lines. The feed lines have a rising section and a falling section, and the falling section is connected to the manifold, and the receiver lines are connected to the distribution line. The manifold is equipped with a vacuum relief valve located upstream of the feed lines in the direction of flow of the bulk material. When open, this valve draws ambient air into the manifold. Valves are provided on both the source and receiver sides to control the conveying paths of the bulk material. The system has at least one vacuum source.To ensure that the system and the process enable reliable cleaning of the pipes, the collecting pipe is located in a lower area of the system, and the transmitter-side valves are located in an upper area of the riser sections.
