Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a transport bag for a conveying device according to the preamble of claim 1, a conveying device, a method for opening a transport bag and a method for closing a transport bag.

[0002] A transport bag of this type is known, for example, from EP 2 130 968 B1. The transport bag described therein essentially consists of two bag walls that are connected to one another at an upper end via a bracket, on which a suspension device is used for hanging in a rail of a conveyor device. The lower ends of the bag walls are connected to one another via a coupling that can be actuated via an actuating mechanism arranged at the upper end of the bag walls in order to couple the lower ends of the bag walls together for transporting an object. When coupled to one another, a bag is thus formed. For unloading, the bag walls are separated from one another so that the object transported in the transport bag can fall out downwards.

[0003] From FR 2 430 363 A1 a shopping bag is known which has two strips which can be moved relative to one another for opening and closing the upper opening, wherein the strips can be brought into engagement in the manner of a bayonet closure by a relative movement in the longitudinal direction, a push-pull movement, and can be brought out of engagement by the reverse order of the relative movement, a push-pull movement.

[0004] DE 10 2018 201 676 A1 discloses a carrying device for receiving goods, comprising a carrying wall which has a front wall and a rear wall and can be arranged between a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the carrying volume for receiving the goods is at least partially limited to the front, bottom, and rear, and in the open state, the carrying volume is released downwards. The carrying device further comprises a closure device for releasably connecting the front wall to the rear wall in the closed state, and an actuating device connected to the closure device for releasing the connection between the front wall and the rear wall from the closed state, comprising an actuating means arranged at a distance from the closure device and a transmission means acting between the actuating means and the closure device, the transmission means being designed to be flexible in shape. The locking mechanism is a bolt that rotates around an axis, each end of which engages in undercut recesses. The interaction of the actuating mechanism and the locking mechanism requires a complex, elaborate, and therefore expensive design of the support device.

[0005] The own EP 3 442 884 A1 describes a transport bag for a conveyor device, comprising a first bag wall, a second bag wall, and a suspension device arranged at an upper end of one of the bag walls, wherein at a lower end of the bag walls remote from the suspension device, closing elements which can be reversibly coupled to one another are arranged, with which the lower ends of the bag walls can be connected to one another to form a bag bottom, wherein the closing elements are designed as locking strips aligned parallel to one another, which can be locked to one another, wherein the locking strips are designed in such a way that they can be pressed against one another in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking strips in order to assume a transport position which closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked to one another, wherein the locking strips are designed in such a way that they can be pressed against one another in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking strips in order to assume a transport position which closes the transport bag at the lower end,From the locked transport position, the locking bars can be moved against each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking bars into an unlocking position, where the locking bars can be detached from each other, to open the transport bag at the bottom. This type of bag closure is less complex, but relatively slow to open.

[0006] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a transport bag, a conveyor device, an unloading station, and a method for opening and unloading such a transport bag, as well as a closing station and a method for closing such a transport bag, which enables an even simpler and faster opening and closing of the transport bag at the bottom end. Furthermore, the opening and closing mechanism should be particularly simple and robust.

[0007] This object is achieved by a transport bag for a conveyor device having the features of claim 1, by a conveyor system having the features of claim 12, a method for opening a transport bag having the features of claim 15 and by a method for closing a transport bag having the features of claim 16 as well as an unloading station according to claim 17 and a closing station according to claim 18.

[0008] The transport bag according to the invention has a first bag wall, a second bag wall, and a suspension device arranged at an upper end of one of the bag walls. At a lower end of the bag walls remote from the suspension device, closing elements which can be reversibly coupled to one another are arranged, with which the lower ends of the bag walls can be connected to one another to form a bag base. According to the invention, the closing elements are designed as locking strips aligned parallel to one another, which can be locked together, wherein the locking strips are designed such that they can be locked against one another in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking strips in order to assume a transport position which closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked together. For this purpose, one locking bar has a locking pin extending in the direction of the longitudinal axis, and the other locking bar has locking receptacles that at least partially encompass the locking pin. The locking bars are designed such that they can be moved from the transport position, which closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked to one another, by relative movement of the locking pin and the locking receptacles to one another, into an unlocked open position, in which the locking bars can be detached from one another at the lower end to open the transport bag. The locking pin protrudes from the locking bar on both sides in the direction of the longitudinal axis.

[0009] This allows for easy opening and closing of the transport bag using robust means. No complex mechanics or rods are required. Furthermore, the transport bag designed in this way can be opened while moving, meaning the bag is opened without stopping, thus increasing throughput.

[0010] In one embodiment, the locking pin engages with the projecting ends in locking receptacles on the other locking strip for locking and the locking strips are designed in such a way that they can be moved from the transport position, which closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked together, into an unlocked open position by moving the ends out of the locking receptacles.

[0011] In a preferred variant of the invention, the ends are designed to be retractable and extendable from the locking receptacles in the longitudinal direction of the locking bar via means arranged in the locking bar.

[0012] The means may comprise a gear wheel and racks, wherein the ends of the locking pin are arranged at the ends of the racks or are formed by them.

[0013] For example, the locking pin could comprise elongated racks whose facing teeth enclose a drive gear, allowing the ends of the locking pin to be retracted or extended by rotation. In the extended position, the ends of the locking pin engage cylindrical horizontal bores in the locking receptacles. The rotation of the drive gear could, in turn, be achieved by moving external magnets.

[0014] A locking pin part, preferably the "lower" locking pin (when viewed in the hanging orientation of the carrying case), can be Z-shaped to engage a locking receptacle that is at the same level as the one on the opposite side. The locking receptacle can thus be designed symmetrically.

[0015] In a likewise preferred variant of the invention, the locking receptacles each comprise a receptacle and a closure, wherein the closure at least partially encompasses the ends and the closure is designed to be liftable or lowerable by external means for releasing the ends.

[0016] The locking pin can be released by applying pressure from “above” and / or “below” (when the carrying case is in the hanging position) on the lock.

[0017] Additionally or alternatively, the lock can be designed to pivot using external means to release the locking pin. This allows the ends to be released by pivoting the locks (possibly coupled with a vertical displacement).

[0018] For this purpose, the lock can have upward and / or downward protruding thrust pieces or actuating lugs. This allows the locking pin to be pushed out of the hook part for release by moving the actuating lugs.

[0019] In another embodiment, the locking pin is continuous in the longitudinal direction, and the locking receptacles each comprise a closure, wherein the closure at least partially encompasses the locking pin when inserted into receptacles in which the locking pin is partially exposed. The locking pin is designed to be lowerable for release by external means.

[0020] In other words, the locking pin runs continuously through one locking bar and protrudes or protrudes laterally on both sides. The side facing the other locking bar features recesses into which the locking pin is partially exposed, allowing protruding locks to at least partially engage around the locking pin. To release or unlock, the entire locking pin is lowered.

[0021] A closure can be a hook, which engages with the locking pin (or its respective end) with its hook mouth and is possibly closed by a hook tip and / or a wall of the receptacle.

[0022] The receptacle can be designed as a funnel open at the front (when viewed in the hanging position of the carrying case). "Front" therefore refers to the front or rear end of the carrying case, in the direction of travel.

[0023] It is conceivable that the device could be driven via internal and / or external means. For example, an external electric motor with a magnetic coupling could be used as a drive. This would allow the internal gear wheel to be operated contactlessly.

[0024] The external means can be, for example, motors, magnets, slides, etc. Thus, the vertical displacement of the actuating lugs can be achieved by moving the carrying case with the locking bars through a slide acting laterally in the area of the locks.

[0025] The external means can therefore displace the actuating lug(s) or ends upon interaction in order to release the hook mouth.

[0026] The initial position of the locks can be easily reset if the locks have to be moved against a restoring spring force or gravity to release them.

[0027] The invention also relates to a conveyor system for conveying objects in transport bags designed according to the invention, which comprises an overhead conveyor with a conveyor chain movable in a conveying direction for conveying the transport bags, holding adapters for holding a transport bag to be conveyed, each of which is designed with a hanging device that can be hooked into the holding adapter, a bag closing station and an unloading station.

[0028] The unloading station has means for displacing the locking pin and / or the locking receiver to unlock the closures. This preferably occurs while the transport pockets are moving, i.e., without stopping.

[0029] A method according to the invention for opening a correspondingly designed transport bag is characterized by the following method steps: - Moving the transport bag along the overhead conveyor into the unloading station to the means for moving the locking pin and / or locking receiver, - Moving the carrying bag and the means relative to each other, whereby the locking pins can be moved out of the closures into an unlocked open position, so that the locking bars can be released from each other, for opening the carrying bag at the lower end.

[0030] A method according to the invention for closing a correspondingly designed transport bag is characterized by the following method steps: Moving the transport bag along the overhead conveyor into the bag closing station between means for displacing the closing bars in order to press the closing bars against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the closing bars to assume a transport position which closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked together.

[0031] The invention also encompasses a bag closing station for an open, corresponding transport bag, characterized by means designed to press the locking bars against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking bars to assume a transport position that closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked to one another, and to displace the locking pins if necessary. Thus, depending on the design of the closure, the transport bag can be closed simply by pressing the locking bars together. If necessary, the locking pin must also be displaced to engage laterally in the locking receptacle.

They show: Fig. 1 a schematic perspective view of an embodiment of a transport bag according to the invention in the open state; Fig. 2 a side view of the Fig. 1 transport bag shown; Fig. 3 a front view of the Fig. 1 transport bag shown; Fig. 4 a top view of the carrying bag Fig. 1 when closed in the direction of travel; Fig. 5 a side view of the carrying bag Fig. 4; Fig. 6A a front view of a variant of the locking strips in the locked state; Fig. 6B a perspective view of the locking strips Fig. 6A; Fig. 6C a view from below of the locking strips Fig. 6A in the open state; Fig. 7A a front view of another variant of the locking strips in the locked state; Fig. 7B a perspective view of the locking strips Fig. 7A; Fig. 7C a view from below of the locking strips Fig. 7A; Fig. 7D a view of the locking strips Fig. 7A in section along line CC; Fig. 8A a front view of another variant of the locking strips in the locked state; Fig. 8B a perspective view of the locking strips Fig. 8A; Fig. 8C a view from below of the locking strips Fig. 8A; Fig. 8D a view of the locking strips Fig. 8A in section along line BB; Fig. 9A a front view of another variant of the locking strips in the locked state; Fig. 9B a perspective view of the locking strips Fig. 9A in unlocked state; Fig. 9C a view from below of the locking strips Fig. 9B; Fig. 9D a view of the locking strips Fig. 9A in section along line DD; Fig. 10A, B a representation of an unloading station of an embodiment variant of a conveying device according to the invention, each in a side view and Fig. 11A, B show a side view of a pocket closing station of an embodiment variant of a conveying device according to the invention.

[0033] In the following description of the figures, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, rear, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the transport pocket, pocket wall, locking strip, locking elements, conveyor device, and the like chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as limiting; i.e., these references may change due to different working positions or the mirror-symmetrical design, etc.

[0034] In the figures, reference numeral 1 denotes a transport bag according to the invention as a whole. The transport bag 1 has a first pocket wall 2 and a second pocket wall 3.

[0035] Both bag walls 2, 3 are secured at an upper end, preferably to a rod 6. The rod 6 is preferably designed as a rectangular frame that forms a bag filling opening 16 through which the transport bag 1 can be filled with one or more objects to be transported.

[0036] To fill the transport bag, the rod 6, which is designed as a rectangular frame, is moved from a vertically aligned position, shown in the Fig. 4 or Fig. 5, one of the rod parts, to which one of the pocket walls 2, 3 is fixed, is pivoted into an angle to the vertical or horizontal position, as for example in the Fig. 1 or Fig. 2 shown.

[0037] At the upper end of one of the pocket walls 2, 3, in the embodiment according to Fig. 1. A suspension device 7 is arranged at the upper end of the second pocket wall 3. This suspension device 7 preferably encompasses a leg of the rod 6 to which the second pocket wall 3 is attached.

[0038] A holding adapter 18 is preferably connected to the suspension device 7, the head piece of which can be inserted into a rail profile 17 of a suspended conveyor device which is provided with a conveyor belt 18 which is arranged in a conveying direction x (see Fig. 10) movable conveyor chain, as is the case, for example, in Fig. 10 is shown.

[0039] In the lower area of the carrying bag 1, the bag walls 2, 3 are preferably connected by side walls 4, 5. Both the bag walls 2, 3 and the side walls 4, 5 are made at least partially of a textile. It is also conceivable to form a portion of the first or second bag wall 2, 3 in a dimensionally stable manner, as shown in Fig. 1 is shown.

[0040] Instead of a separate pocket bottom, at the lower end of the pocket walls 2, 3 remote from the suspension device 7, there are arranged closing elements which can be reversibly coupled to one another, with which the lower ends of the pocket walls 2, 3 can be connected to one another to form a pocket bottom.

[0041] In general, the locking elements are designed as locking strips 8, 9 that are aligned parallel to one another and can be locked together.

[0042] The locking strips 8, 9 are designed in such a way that they can be locked against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis I of the locking strips 8, 9 in order to assume a transport position that closes the transport bag 1 at the lower end and is locked together. The locking strips 8, 9 thus enable simple locking by pressing the locking strips 8, 9 together in a bag closing station 27, as is the case, for example, in Fig. 11, so that the transport bag 1 can be closed again after emptying by bringing the bag walls 2, 3 together.

[0043] For this purpose, as for example in the Fig. 4 to 8, for which purpose a locking bar 9 has locking pin ends 12a, b projecting laterally in the direction of the longitudinal axis I on both sides, which engage in locking receptacles 13 on the other locking bar 8. In an alternative version according to Fig. 9, the locking pin 10 is partially encompassed by locks 14 in receptacles 19 of the same locking bar. The protruding locking pin ends 12a, b serve for unlocking.

[0044] The locking strips 8, 9 are also designed in such a way that they can be moved from the transport position, which closes the transport bag 1 at the lower end and is locked together, into an unlocked open position by moving the locking pin ends 12a, b or the locking pin 10 out of the locking receptacles 13, in which the locking strips 8, 9 can be released from one another in order to open the transport bag 1 at the lower end.

[0045] In the Fig. 6A-C shows an embodiment in which the locking pin 10 comprises locking pin ends 12a,b arranged at the ends of racks 11a,b which extend at least partially over the longitudinal direction I.

[0046] The racks 11a,b engage with their mutually facing teeth in a centrally arranged drive gear 12c, so that the locking pin ends 12a,b can be extended or retracted by rotating the drive gear 12c. In the extended position, the ends of the locking pin ends 12a,b engage in partially cylindrical recesses 13a,b of the locking receptacles 13. The rotation of the drive gear 12c is carried out by moving external magnets (not shown).

[0047] The "lower" rack 11b (viewed in the hanging orientation of the carrying case) is Z-shaped, so that the end 12b thus formed can engage in a locking receptacle 13b that is at the same level as the locking receptacle 13a on the opposite side. The locking receptacle 13 can thus be designed symmetrically.

[0048] It is understood that the toothed racks 11a,b run concealed in the locking bar 9 and only for reasons of visibility the corresponding cover of the locking bar 9 is missing or not shown in the figures.

[0049] In the Fig. 7A-D shows an embodiment in which the locking pin ends 12a,b dip into lateral locking receptacles 13, which are designed as funnels open to the front.

[0050] The locking receptacles also comprise a closure 14, which at least partially surrounds the ends 12a,b in partially cylindrical recesses 13a,b and is designed to be lowered by external means to release the ends. The closure 14 is designed as a hook, which, with its hook mouth 14a and hook tip 14b, surrounds the locking pin 10 or its respective end 12a,b.

[0051] The hook 14 has, above the hook mouth 14a, a wall 14c on the “shaft” which runs obliquely upwards in the direction of the opening, so that the respective end 12a,b is pressed out of the receptacle 13 when pressure is applied from above on the hook 14 or on an upwardly projecting actuating projection 15.

[0052] Thus, by applying pressure from above (when the carrying case is in a hanging position) on the closure 14, the ends 12a,b or the locking pin can be released. It is understood that a return spring may be provided to urge the closure 14 into the closed, upper position.

[0053] In the Fig. 8A-D shows an embodiment in which the locking pin ends 12a,b dip into lateral locking receptacles 13 at the ends, wherein the closure is designed as a hook 14 open “downwards” and pivotable about a pivot point 16 by external means for releasing the locking pin.

[0054] Thus, by pivoting the hook, the ends 12a,b can be released in the respective hook mouth 14a. For this purpose, the closure has a downwardly projecting actuating projection 15, which causes the pivoting for release upon contact with a guide, etc. This pivots the hook 14 so that the respective end 12a,b is no longer held in the hook mouth 14a by the hook tip 14b in the partially cylindrical recess 13a,b.

[0055] In the Fig. 9A-D, the locking pin 10 is formed continuously in the longitudinal direction I in an elongated hole groove in the locking bar 8 and the locking receptacles of the other locking bar 9 each comprise a closure 14 which at least partially encompasses the locking pin 10 when it is inserted into receptacles 19 of the locking bar 8, in which the locking pin 10 is partially exposed.

[0056] The closure 14 is hook-shaped with a partially cylindrical recess 13c into which the locking pin 10 is pressed upwards by a spring 20.

[0057] To release the locking pin 10, the laterally projecting ends 12a,b are lowered by external means against the spring force.

[0058] By unlocking the locking bars 8, 9, the transport bag 1 can be opened so that its contents fall out downwards.

[0059] A section of a conveyor device according to the invention with a discharge station 29 is shown in Fig. 10 shown.

[0060] Transport bags 1 arriving at this unloading station 29 in a rail profile 17, which are filled with an object to be transported, are emptied here, whereby the closing bars 8, 9 are moved from their locked to the open position for emptying.

[0061] For this purpose, the unloading station 29 has a downwardly leading inlet 21 in a frame 22, after which the transport pockets 1 are driven, stabilized and aligned by belt conveyors 23 acting from above on their upper edge and running parallel.

[0062] Below, approximately at the level of the closing strips 8, 9, five pairs of foldable unloading gates 25 are arranged, each spaced apart in the conveying direction X, which can be folded in a controlled manner between an active unloading position and a rest position. Thus, transport bags 1 can be unloaded in a targeted manner by controlling the foldable unloading gates 25 to open a transport bag 1 by unlocking it, so that its contents slide downwards onto a chute 24 and from there onto a discharge conveyor 31. It is understood that the number of unloading gates 25 is arbitrary and that a shaft and / or a receiving container, such as a box, etc., can also be placed instead of a chute 24.

[0063] The controllable unloading gates 25 of a pair are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction I so that they can assume the active position with a gate lever 26 in order to contact the actuating lugs 15 or the ends 12a, b on the sides of the pocket and thus to displace them in order to carry out the unlocking.

[0064] The rocker arms 26 can be designed to act on the actuating lugs 15 or ends 12a, b either from below or from above.

[0065] The action can be actively carried out by a sensor when passing or when a transport bag 1 is present on an unloading link 25, so that the link lever 26 acts on the actuating lugs 15 or ends 12a, b during the movement when assuming the active position.

[0066] It is also possible to allow the rocker arm 26 to act passively by previously moving it into the active position, so that the transport bag 1 moves with the actuating lugs 15 or ends 12a, b against the rocker arm 26 while passing by in the movement without stopping.

[0067] The subsequent reclosure of the transport bag 1 preferably takes place in a bag closing station 27 following in the conveying direction x, as shown in Fig. 11 is shown as an example.

[0068] The bag closing station 27 has two pressure plates 28 which can be moved towards one another approximately perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal axis I of the closing strips 8, 9 and between which the transport bag 1 can be positioned.

[0069] The pressure plates 28 are movable from a position accommodating the mutually separated locking bars 8, 9 between them into a closing position pressing the locking bars 8, 9 together perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal axis I of the locking bars 8, 9 and thereby locking them together.

[0070] In the embodiment of the pocket closing station 27 shown here, the pressure plates 28 can be pivoted by adjusting rods 33 about a pivot axis 32 running parallel to the longitudinal axis I of the closing strips 8, 9.

[0071] If necessary, the locking pin ends must be relocated in order to engage laterally in the locking receptacle 13a,b (cf. Fig. 6). For this purpose, an electric motor equipped with a magnetic clutch can be provided (not shown).

[0072] It is understood that several transport pockets 1 can also be grouped and positioned between the pressure plates 28 and closed together. For example, five pockets can be closed simultaneously.
