Description

[0001] The invention relates to a clip profile for the invisible or concealed fastening of a facade panel or facade cladding to a substructure that is fixed to a wall, masonry, wooden or steel structure, or ceiling. The invention further relates to a system comprising such a clip profile and a clip.

[0002] Clip systems with a clip and a clip profile are known for the concealed installation of facade panels, particularly for ventilated facades (VHF). The clip is firmly connected to the facade panel. The clip profile is firmly connected to a vertical profile, which is attached to a wall via wall supports. The clip profile can be fixed directly to profiles on the wall or to a wooden or steel substructure, or to any material. The clip, with the attached facade panel, is then hung on the clip profile. After this step, the facade panels are correctly aligned, for example, with adjusting screws, and fixed in position.

[0003] When installing facade panels, precise work is required, as the individual elements required for hanging the facade panels must be carefully fastened and aligned. The facade panels can be aligned by adjusting the clip profiles. However, the facade panels can also be adjusted, especially finely, using the clips. However, the better the alignment of the clip profiles, the less time-consuming fine adjustments using adjusting screws on the clips are required.

[0004] The object of the present invention is therefore to overcome the problems of the prior art. A further object of the invention can be seen in providing a cost-effective and time-efficient method for fastening facade panels. A further object of the invention can be to increase safety before, during, and / or after hanging the facade panel.

[0005] These and other problems are solved by an agraffe profile according to claim 1.

[0006] A clip profile according to the invention for fastening a facade panel to a wall support or to a wall comprises a substantially flat base leg designed for fastening to the wall support. Furthermore, a clip profile according to the invention comprises two profile legs extending substantially orthogonally from the base leg for a positive connection to a clip arranged on a facade panel, wherein an interior space is formed by the profile legs, wherein a groove is located in the interior space of the clip profile at both ends of the base leg.

[0007] Recesses in the form of pre-drilled holes can be arranged at predetermined locations on the agraffe profile to accommodate fastening devices such as screws or rivets. The recesses are preferably located on the flat base leg.

[0008] Such recesses in the agraffe profile are preferably circular, but can also be triangular, square, hexagonal, octagonal, oval, or elongated. If necessary, the recesses can also be threaded. The shape and design of the recesses may depend on the fastener used.

[0009] To create a positive connection between the clip profile and the clip, the clip is hooked into the clip profile. "Positive connection" means that one element engages with another, with movement restricted in at least one direction.

[0010] The interior space formed by the profile legs includes the space between the base legs and the profile legs. However, the interior space does not form a closed space.

[0011] According to the invention, a web can be provided that connects the lower profile leg and the base leg, thus forming a cavity in the interior of the clip profile. The cavity formed by the web increases the rigidity, in particular the torsional rigidity, of the clip profile without significantly increasing the weight of the clip profile.

[0012] According to the invention, the upper profile leg can be designed as a substantially Z-shaped angle profile and includes a short bent end, wherein the short bent end is substantially parallel to the base surface. The shape of the angle profile of the upper profile leg enables a positive connection between the clip profile and a clip. Due to the Z-shape of the angle profile, an upper retaining leg of a clip can encompass the upper profile leg.

[0013] According to the invention, the lower profile leg can be designed as an angle profile, with the angle profile forming a bent end. The shape of the lower profile leg enables a positive connection between the clip profile and parts of the clip.

[0014] According to the invention, the bent end of the lower profile leg can be designed as a wedge profile with a tapered cross-section, so that the thickness of the wedge profile decreases towards its end. This embodiment has proven advantageous in practice, as it creates a better clamping effect between the clip profile and a matching clip, even if the clip is not fully inserted into the clip profile. This clamping effect prevents the clip, along with the facade panel, from tipping or falling off the clip profile if the clip is not fully inserted.

[0015] According to the invention, the surface of the wedge profile facing the base leg can be substantially parallel to the base leg. This embodiment has proven advantageous in practice.

[0016] According to the invention, the wedge profile can be designed to taper at an angle α, wherein the angle α is between 1° and 10°, in particular substantially approximately 5°. This angle achieves an improved clamping effect.

[0017] According to the invention, projections are provided on the upper profile leg and on the web to form the grooves, and the grooves are designed to face each other. According to the invention, the grooves form a guide for the positive reception of an insert element, which is suitable for forming a positive plug-in connection between two identically constructed clip profiles.

[0018] The facing grooves allow an insert element to be used to connect two clip profiles at the end. This facilitates the alignment of the clip profiles and thus also the subsequent alignment of the facade panels.

[0019] According to the invention, the insert element can be a substantially plate-shaped flat metal element, but it can also be made of plastic. The flat metal element generally has a square or rectangular basic shape, so that it fits snugly into the guide formed by the grooves.

[0020] According to the invention, the edges of the clip profile can be chamfered or rounded. This allows for easier sliding along the clip profile and prevents the two components from interlocking in an undesirable manner.

[0021] According to the invention, it can be provided that the agraffe profile is formed from a metal or a metal alloy, preferably from aluminum or an aluminum alloy, in particular from aluminum EN-AW 6063 T66, and the agraffe profile has a weight between 0.6 and 0.75 kg per running meter, in particular of approximately 0.685 kg per running meter.

[0022] According to the invention, the clip profile can be provided with a coating that increases its sliding properties, such as a powder coating or anodizing. This allows for easier sliding on the clip profile and prevents the two components from becoming undesirably entangled.

[0023] The invention further extends to a system comprising a clip profile and a clip with a substantially flat back leg, wherein the clip and the clip profile can be connected or are connected in a form-fitting manner. When the clip and the clip profile are connected, they are connected in such a way that the clip can only be pushed out laterally or lifted out vertically upwards.

[0024] Optionally, the upper profile leg has an extension of length x1, and the clip has an upper holding leg with an extension of length x2, where x1 is smaller than x2, so that the upper holding leg is designed to encompass or encompass the upper profile leg. This embodiment allows the upper holding leg to encompass the upper profile leg, so that the clip can only be pushed out sideways or lifted vertically upwards.

[0025] If necessary, a lower retaining leg of the clip may form a downward-facing engagement groove, with the wedge profile being insertable into the engagement groove with a positive fit. This design ensures a particularly secure connection between the clip profile and the clip.

[0026] The engagement groove can be defined by a clamping tab on the clasp that tapers downwards, so that the engagement groove has a conical cross-section that widens toward the end of the spine. This achieves a better clamping effect between the clasp profile and the clasp.

[0027] Optionally, it is provided that a flexible insert element is provided for insertion between the agraffe and the facade panel, wherein the flexible insert element comprises recesses for receiving undercut anchors and / or blind fasteners, wherein the area of the flexible insert element is preferably smaller than or equal to the area of a back leg of the agraffe.

[0028] The flexible insert element can compensate for unevenness caused by undercut anchors and / or blind fasteners, or by unevenness on the back of the facade panel, allowing the facade panel to be flush-mounted to the clip despite unevenness. The insert element also serves as an elastic coupling between a brittle facade panel and the clip profile, acting as a compression spring and dampening noise that can occur due to vibrations or movements, such as wind.

[0029] Further features of the invention will become apparent from the claims, the drawings, and the description of the figures. The invention is explained below using an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1a shows a schematic cross-sectional view of an agraffe profile according to the invention; Fig. 1b shows a schematic oblique view of an agraffe profile according to the invention; Fig. 2a shows a schematic cross-sectional view of a clip according to the invention; Fig. Figure 2b shows a schematic oblique view of a clip according to the invention; Fig. 3 shows a cross-sectional view of an agraffe system according to the invention.

[0030] Fig. 1a and Fig. 1b shows a schematic cross-sectional view and a schematic oblique view of an agraffe profile 7 according to the invention. The agraffe profile 7 is designed to be detachably attached to the exterior wall of a building, to a wall support 3 attached thereto, or to a supporting profile attached thereto, or directly to the wall or to a wooden or steel structure. In conjunction with individual agraffes 1 attached to facade panels 2, the agraffe profile 7 enables the invisible, external attachment of ventilated facade panels 2 to a wall or a supporting structure.

[0031] In this exemplary embodiment, the agraffe profile 7 has a length of approximately 3 m and a weight of approximately 0.685 kg per linear meter. Longer or shorter agraffe profiles 7 are provided in other embodiments of the invention. It is made of aluminum EN-AW 6063 T66, although embodiments with other materials are also possible.

[0032] The clip profile 7 has a base leg 16 with a substantially flat base surface. The clip profile 7 is attached, for example, by screwing, to the base leg 16 to the exterior wall of a building, a wall support 3 attached thereto, or a support profile attached thereto.

[0033] On both sides of the base leg 16, a profile leg 17, 18 extends substantially orthogonally to the base leg 16. The upper profile leg 17 is substantially C-shaped and has a short bent end which runs parallel to the base leg 16.

[0034] A part of the lower profile leg 18 runs essentially orthogonal to the base leg 16.

[0035] The lower profile leg 18 also has a bent end formed as a wedge profile 19, the inward-facing surface of which runs parallel to the base leg 16. The wedge profile 19 has a conical cross-section, so that the cross-sectional area decreases toward the end. For this purpose, the outward-facing surface of the wedge profile 19 is inclined at an angle α of approximately 5° relative to the inward-facing surface of the wedge profile 19.

[0036] In cross-section, the agraffe profile 7 with the base leg 16, the two profile legs 17, 18 and the bent ends forms an approximately C-shape and is suitable for connection with an agraffe 1. The edges of the agraffe profile 7 are chamfered or rounded.

[0037] To stiffen and reinforce the agraffe profile 7, an L-shaped web 20 with a rounded corner connects the lower profile leg 18 and the base leg 16, creating a cavity 21 in the interior of the agraffe profile 7. The weight of the agraffe profile 7 is only slightly increased by the web 20.

[0038] At both ends of the base leg 16, there is a groove 22 in the interior of the agraffe profile 7. To form the grooves 22, inwardly facing projections 23 are provided on the upper profile leg 17 and on the web 20. The two grooves 22 face each other and form a guide for the positive reception of a Fig. 1b shown insert element 24. In this embodiment, the insert element 24 is a plate-shaped flat metal, but it can also be made of plastic.

[0039] The insert element 24 is designed to form a positive plug-in connection between two identically constructed agraffe profiles 7. This allows the agraffe profiles 7 to be easily lined up, plugged together, and adjusted. They can also be easily separated from each other, as long as they are not firmly screwed to the wall support 3. This allows for easier alignment of the agraffe profiles 7.

[0040] Fig. 2a and Fig. 2b show a schematic cross-sectional view and a schematic oblique view of a clip 1 according to the invention. The clip 1 is designed such that it can engage and be suspended in a clip profile 7 according to the invention. Furthermore, the clip 1 is designed such that it can be connected to a facade panel 2 (not shown) in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner.

[0041] Such a facade panel 2 has at least one recess, for example, an undercut, for accommodating an undercut anchor 10 and / or a blind fastener. The facade panel 2 can comprise, among other materials, aluminum composite material, fiber cement, porcelain stoneware, glass fiber reinforced concrete, glass panels, green facades, HPL (high-pressure laminate), ceramic, natural stone, laminated glass, solid aluminum or solid steel panels or cassettes, photovoltaic panels, plasterboard, aluminum / steel siding, terracotta, and / or brick.

[0042] In this embodiment, the clip 1 is made of EN-AW 6063 T66 aluminum, but in other embodiments, it can be of different lengths and made of other materials. The weight of the clip 1 is approximately 42 g.

[0043] The clip 1 has a substantially C-shaped cross-section with a substantially flat back leg 4 having a rectangular longitudinal surface, and two holding legs 5, 6 running at least partially orthogonal to the back leg 4. The upper holding leg 5 is designed as a C-shaped angle profile, so that a bent end is formed. The bent end runs parallel to the back leg 4 of the clip 1 and has a length of approximately 5 mm. The upper holding leg 5 extends sufficiently far to be able to encompass the upper profile leg 17 of the clip profile 7 when hooked in from above. The extension x2 of the upper holding leg 5 is therefore at least as large as the extension x1 of the upper profile leg 17 of the clip profile 7. The edges of the clip 1 are rounded or chamfered.

[0044] The upper retaining leg 5 has three equally spaced radial leg bores 11, 11a, 11b on the part of the angle profile perpendicular to the back leg 4. The middle leg bore 11a has a diameter suitable for accommodating an adjusting screw 13 (not shown).

[0045] In this exemplary embodiment, the adjusting screw 13 is a metric screw according to ISO 7380 M6x14. This allows the height of the clip 1 to be adjusted relative to the clip profile 7. In addition, the adjusting screw 13 has a length that is less than the length x of the bent end of the upper holding leg 5. When the adjusting screw 13 is screwed in as far as it will go, this ensures that the bent end of the clip 1 suspended in the clip profile 7 engages around the upper profile leg 17 of the clip profile 7, since the length x is greater than the length of the adjusting screw 13. This prevents the clip 1 from falling out of the clip profile 7, even when the adjusting screw 13 is screwed in as far as it will go.

[0046] After adjusting the height of the clip 1 relative to the clip profile 7 using the adjusting screw 13, a fixing screw (not shown) can be inserted into at least one of the two outer leg holes 11b. The fixing screw is a self-drilling screw. The diameter of the two outer leg holes 11b is selected in this embodiment so that a self-drilling screw with a diameter of 4.8 mm and a length of 20 mm can be used. The clip 1 and the clip profile 7 can be positively connected using the self-drilling screw.

[0047] The lower retaining leg 6 has a substantially Z-shaped cross-section and additionally has a bent end that runs parallel to the back leg 4 of the clip 1. The lower retaining leg 6 runs substantially parallel to the back leg 4 of the clip 1 and, together with the back leg 4, forms a downward-facing, tapered engagement groove 12 with a conical cross-section. When the clip 1 is hooked into the clip profile 7, this engagement groove 12 allows the clip 1 to accommodate the wedge profile 19 of the lower profile leg 18 of the clip profile 7. The back leg 4 of the clip 1 thus forms a downwardly tapered clamping tab 14 in the area of the engagement groove 12.

[0048] The length of the clamping tab 14 is selected so that it extends further downward than the lower retaining leg 6. This facilitates hooking into the clip profile 7. The clamping tab 14 has a conical cross-section and tapers towards its tip such that it runs at an angle α of approximately 5° to the back leg 4. As a result, the thickness of the profile of the clamping tab 14 is smaller at the lower end than at the upper end. This facilitates hooking the clip 1 into the clip profile 7 and also results in the wedge profile 19 of the lower profile leg 18 being pressed against the clamping tab 14.

[0049] The combination of clamping tab 14, engagement groove 12, and lower retaining leg 6 makes it possible, during installation, to temporarily place and clamp the facade panel 2 onto the lower profile leg 18 of the clip profile 7 without the clip 1 and the facade panel 2 attached to it falling off. This is particularly advantageous for heavy facade panels 2, as the facade panel 2 with the clips 1 can be briefly placed onto the wedge profile 19 of the lower profile leg 18 of the clip profile 7 before the clip 1 is fully hung.

[0050] After the first placement of the clip 1 on the clip profile 7, the clip profile, including the facade panel 2, only needs to be briefly lifted and pushed to fully engage the facade panel 2. The rounded or chamfered edges of the clip 1 further facilitate sliding along and engaging the clip profile 7. This minimizes the risk of accidents due to incorrect or incomplete hanging.

[0051] The clip 1 has a longitudinal groove 8 on its back leg 4, which comprises three equally spaced, radial recesses 9 that have essentially the same diameter. However, the recesses 9 can also have different diameters. The recesses 9 are designed to accommodate undercut anchors 10 or blind fasteners from different manufacturers. This allows the clip 1 to be fixed to facade panels 2 using different undercut anchors 10 or blind fasteners.

[0052] The longitudinal groove 8 on the back leg 4 is designed such that, for example, the clamping wedge of the Keil undercut anchor 10 from Keil can be arranged in a form-fitting and non-rotatable manner in the longitudinal groove 8, so that the undercut anchor 10 can be easily tightened.

[0053] Fig. Figure 3 shows a cross-sectional view of a clip system according to the invention. The clip profile 7 and the clip 1 are as shown in the Fig. 1a - 2b have been formed and the agraffe 1 has already been hung on the agraffe profile 7. The agraffe profile 7 is connected to the wall via a wall support 3 attached to the wall and a support profile attached to the wall support 3. In this embodiment, the agraffe profile 7 is screwed to the support profile with fixing screws not shown.

[0054] The adjusting screw 13 for adjusting the height of the bracket 1 is located in the center leg hole 11a of the upper retaining leg 5. It is screwed in to a specific height to align the facade panel 2 with at least one other facade panel 2. The length of the adjusting screw 13 is shorter than the length x of the bent end of the upper retaining leg 5.

[0055] Alternatively, no adjusting screw 13 may be provided. Thus, the retaining legs 5, 6 would rest completely on the profile legs 17, 18. In this case, the bent end of the lower profile leg 18 would engage flush with the engagement groove 12 of the clip 1. Furthermore, the clamping tab 14 of the suspended clip 1 would protrude beyond the clip profile 7.

[0056] Self-drilling screws (not shown) are located in the other two leg holes 11b of the upper retaining leg 5. The clip 1 and the clip profile 7 are firmly connected to each other by the self-drilling screws drilled through the upper profile leg 17, so that the facade panel 2 can no longer be moved. At least one tightened undercut anchor or blind fastener 10 is located in the recesses 9 of the longitudinal groove 8 of the clip 1, firmly connecting the facade panel 2 to the clip 1.

[0057] A flexible insert element 15, namely a foam rubber disc with recesses, is provided between the back leg 4 of the clip 1 and the facade panel 2. The dimensions and placement of the recesses and the thickness of the insert element 15 depend on the undercut anchor 10 used. The insert element 15 prevents cavities between the clip 1 and the facade panel 2.

[0058] When mounting the clip 1 on a facade panel 2, the undercut anchors or blind fasteners 10 fixed to the facade panel 2 are force-fitted to the insert element 15 and the clips 1. In this embodiment, the insert element 15 is rectangular and its surface area is smaller than the surface area of the back leg 4 of the clip 1.
