Description

[0001] The invention comprises a bath / shower tray support foot device for supporting and aligning baths and shower trays.

[0002] The invention lies in the technical field of the assembly of bathtubs and shower trays and the corresponding accessories.

[0003] Shower tray feet provide support for shower trays made of steel, acrylic, or mineral cast and are used for alignment and adjustment, ensuring consistent water drainage and compensating for tilted surfaces. This compensates for uneven floors and ensures optimal stability at all times.

[0004] Bath and shower tray feet also serve to insulate against sound.

[0005] Height-adjustable bathtub feet consist of a foot section and a support section. To adjust the height, the relative distance between the foot section and support section is changed.

[0006] To install the shower or bathtub, the appropriate bathtub or shower tray feet are positioned under the base. Then, the height adjustment is used to align and adjust the height to create a precise slope. Once the final alignment is complete, accidental height adjustment is no longer possible. If readjustment is necessary for maintenance or repair, this can be very cumbersome.

[0007] Six, eight, or even more feet are used to level large showers or bathtubs. The mounting feet are preferably installed at the edge or underneath the shower surface. Mounting frames are sometimes used, where the individual feet are connected by cross braces. There are also models with a surrounding frame that rests on the floor above the feet.

[0008] Such systems are used in both new construction and renovation projects for the installation of bathtubs in various installation situations.

[0009] Systems are known in which the base part and the bearing part are locked into each other so that the individual components are arranged so that they can move relative to each other, allowing them to be rotated and pivoted at the same time.

[0010] Also known are systems for supporting and securing bathtubs and shower trays, which are designed in multiple parts and feature a threaded rod as a connecting element. This rod is clamped or screwed to the profile using a slotted nut, a nut, or a groove in the threaded rod. However, this solution has the disadvantage that the individual components can unscrew from the thread during adjustment and become detached from the overall system, thus no longer guaranteeing secure installation.

[0011] The present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a bath / shower tray support foot device for supporting and aligning baths and shower trays, which can ensure that the individual parts do not become detached from one another.

[0012] The object is achieved by a bath / shower tray support base device for supporting and aligning baths and shower trays having the features of independent claim 1. Advantageous embodiments form the subject matter of the associated subclaims.

[0013] The invention comprises a bathtub / shower tray support base assembly for supporting and aligning bathtubs and shower trays, comprising at least a first segment with a first connecting portion and a second segment with a second connecting portion for establishing a detachable connection with the first connecting portion to prevent movement in a first direction. This ensures that the connection between the first and second segments does not become accidentally released.

[0014] Advantageously, the first segment comprises recesses along its circumference, and the second segment comprises a locking element with a locking element arranged thereon, which is designed to be complementary to the recesses and to be received in one of the recesses to prevent movement in a first direction. This ensures that a positive connection is established between the locking element and the recess.

[0015] According to a preferred aspect, the second segment comprises a locking element with a latching element arranged thereon, which is designed to be received at least partially in the second connecting section to prevent movement in a first direction. This represents a structural simplification of the segments because fewer recesses are required.

[0016] An advantageous aspect provides that the bathtub / shower tray support leg assembly comprises at least a third segment comprising a third connecting section for establishing a detachable connection with the first connecting section and a fourth connecting section for establishing a detachable connection with the second connecting section. The third segment comprises the locking element with the locking element arranged thereon on the upper side and the recesses on the lower side. This ensures that the segments can be flexibly combined with one another.

[0017] It is particularly advantageous if the bathtub / shower tray support base assembly further comprises at least a third segment. The third segment comprises a third connecting section for establishing a detachable connection with the first connecting section and a fourth connecting section for establishing a detachable connection with the second connecting section, wherein the third segment comprises the locking element with the locking element arranged thereon on its upper side. This allows any number of segments of different heights to be combined with one another, thus optimally aligning a corresponding bathtub or walk-through tub.

[0018] An advantageous aspect provides for the connecting sections to be designed as threads or bayonet locks. This allows the segments to be connected to each other easily and securely.

[0019] It is particularly advantageous if the recesses are arranged along the entire circumference of the first segment and / or the third segment. This allows the segments to be connected to each other in any desired position.

[0020] According to a preferred aspect, the locking element is movably mounted on the second segment and / or third segment in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, so that upon actuation of the locking element, the locking element arranged thereon is released from the recess. This prevents the segments from being accidentally unscrewed.

[0021] According to an advantageous aspect, the locking element is resiliently mounted on the second segment and / or third segment. This allows the locking element to be removed from the recess as needed, and the connection between the segments can be released.

[0022] It is particularly advantageous if the locking element and the latching element are formed as a single piece. This enables particularly cost-effective production of the bathtub / shower tray support leg assembly.

[0023] Advantageously, the locking element and the locking element are constructed in multiple parts. This allows for flexible selection of the materials for the individual components.

[0024] It has proven advantageous if the locking element and the recesses are designed in a prism shape. This ensures that the recess can be arranged in a space-saving manner.

[0025] An advantageous aspect provides for the locking element and the recesses to be cuboid-shaped. This allows the locking elements to exhibit improved dimensional stability.

[0026] It is particularly advantageous if a bath and shower tray support system includes at least three bath / shower tray support legs. This allows for the secure storage and alignment of particularly large baths and shower trays.

[0027] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing.
