AI Technical Summary
Conventional curtain/blind fabric suspensions result in a large gap between the upper edge of the clamping plates and the lower edge of the head rail, leading to light leakage.
The translucent vertical blind employs a clamping base with a central plate and clamping and fixing portions, allowing clamping plates to be inserted and engaged directly into the clamping groove, eliminating the need for a clearance between the clamping plate and head rail, thereby reducing the gap and light leakage.
The new design enables the clamping plates to be assembled in the same space as the head rail, minimizing light leakage by ensuring the upper edge of the clamping plate is close to the lower edge of the head rail, thus enhancing operational efficiency and reducing light incidence.

Abstract
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a suspension system for a curtain / blind fabric. The invention particularly relates to a transparent vertical blind. 2. Description of the state of the art
[0002] A conventional suspension structure for a curtain / blind fabric is shown in the Fig. 1 to 4. Such a suspension structure is used with conventional vertical fabric slats and generally comprises a top or head rail 1. The head rail 1 is provided with a plurality of sliding supports 2, and each sliding support 2 is pivotally provided below it with a hanging portion 3 extending downwardly. Each hanging part 3 is provided with two hanging hooks 4, and each hanging hook 4 defines an upwardly directed opening. Furthermore, each sliding support 2 is configured to cooperate with a pair of elongated clamping plates 5. The upper edge of each clamping plate 5 is provided with a hanging hole 6, and each pair of clamping plates 5 is configured to be clamped to the two opposite sides of a fabric slat 7 or the overlapping portion of two adjacent fabric slats 7 and to be suspended from the hanging hooks 4 of the hanging part 3 of the corresponding sliding support 2.The operation and movement of the movable supports 2 is not what the present invention is intended to improve and will therefore not be described further.
[0003] This conventional structure provides the basic function of hanging fabric blinds, but still leaves much to be desired. Since the operation of the conventional structure requires hanging, each hanging part 3 must have a sufficient downward length so that the distance between the hanging holes 6 of each pair of clamping plates 5 and the bottom edge of the head rail 1 is large enough to allow the pair of clamping plates 5 to be moved upward beyond the top edges of the corresponding hanging hooks 4 and then moved downward to be hung on the corresponding hanging hooks 4. However, such a structure and operation results in a large gap between the top edge of each clamping plate 5 and the bottom edge of the head rail 1, as shown in Fig. 2, and the gap causes light loss along the top edge of the curtain / blind. CN217592513 U discloses a vertical hanging mechanism for curtains, for connecting to a track mechanism. The mechanism comprises a clamping piece, a first hanging assembly, and a second hanging assembly distributed in a forward-backward direction. The first hanging assembly is provided with a connecting part distributed in a forward-backward direction for penetrating the vertical curtain. The second hanging assembly is provided with a fitting part that conforms to the construction of a connecting part so that the vertical curtain can be attached between the first and second hanging assembly. A part of the clamping piece is provided outside the first and second hanging assembly to use the clamping piece to clamp the first and second hanging assembly. BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The main object of the present invention is to provide a transparent or translucent vertical blind that is easy to use and can reduce the amount of light entering.
[0005] To achieve the main object, the transparent vertical blind of the present invention comprises a plurality of sliding brackets provided in an elongated headrail, and each sliding bracket is provided thereunder with a clamping base comprising a central plate portion and two clamping and fixing portions. Each clamping and fixing member is connected at one end to the corresponding central plate member, and the opposite end extends from the headrail, so that a clamping groove with a downward opening is formed between each clamping and fixing member and the corresponding central plate member. Furthermore, each clamping and fixing member is provided with an engaging hook projecting toward the corresponding central plate member. Each slide carriage is configured to cooperate with two clamping plates. Each clamping plate has an inner side and an outer side. The inner side of each clamping plate is provided with a plurality of protruding coupling portions, and the outer side of each clamping plate is provided with an engagement groove extending from the outer side to the inner side of the clamping plate. Each clamping plate can be inserted into the corresponding clamping groove so that the corresponding engagement hook engages the engagement groove of the clamping plate.
[0006] Thanks to the above-mentioned structure, the transparent or translucent vertical blind structure of the present invention allows each clamp base and the corresponding clamp plates to be fitted together and use the same space, so that the distance between the top edge of each clamp plate and the bottom edge of the headrail can be shortened to reduce the light leakage along the top edge of the blind. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0007] First, the applicant wishes to point out that throughout this description, including the following explanation of an embodiment and the appended claims, all directional terms refer to the directions shown in the accompanying drawings. Furthermore, throughout the following embodiment and the drawings, identical or similar elements or structural features are designated by the same reference numerals. Furthermore, the directions indicated herein refer to the directions indicated in the drawings only for convenience of description and are not limiting.
[0008] With reference to the Fig. 5 to 10, the transparent or translucent vertical blind assembly of the present invention includes a head rail 10 and a plurality of slide carriages 20.
[0009] The head rail 10 has an elongated shape and is provided with two roller rails 11 which extend along the longitudinal direction of the head rail 10.
[0010] Each slide carriage 20 includes two rollers 21, each provided on one of two opposite sides of the slide carriage 20. The slide carriages 20 are provided in the headrail 10 and configured to be movable along the two guide rails 11 of the headrail 10. The headrail 10 and the slide carriages 20 may utilize the headrail and slide carriage structures of a conventional curtain / roller blind, and the manner in which the slide carriages 20 are moved may be controlled via a cord or by power transmission via a rotary shaft. The present invention has no limitation on the manner in which the slide carriages 20 are moved, and no further description will be given here for such conventional structures as the headrail 10 and the slide carriages 20.
[0011] The present invention is characterized by the following technical features.
[0012] Each slide carriage 20 is pivotally provided with a clamping base 30 extending downward, and each clamping base 30 comprises a central plate portion 31 and two clamping and fixing portions 32.
[0013] Each central plate portion 31 is in the shape of a plate and has two opposite sides, each provided with a plurality of anti-slip strips 311. The clamping and fixing portions 32 of each clamping base 30 extend outward from the two opposite sides of the corresponding central plate portion 31, with one end of each clamping and fixing portion 32 being connected to the corresponding central plate portion 31 and the other end of each clamping and fixing portion 32 extending away from the head rail 10, so that a clamping groove 33 with a downward opening is formed between each clamping and fixing portion 32 and the corresponding central plate portion 31. Each clamping and fixing portion 32 is provided with an engaging hook 34 projecting toward the corresponding central plate portion 31.Each engaging hook 34 has an inclined first inwardly directed guide surface 35, and the distal portion of each clamping and fastening portion 32 is bent outwardly to form a second inwardly directed guide surface 36.
[0014] Each sliding carriage 20 is configured to cooperate with two clamping plates 40. Each clamping plate 40 has an inner side 41 and an outer side 42. The upper edge of the inner side 41 of each clamping plate 40 is provided with a protruding stop wall 43 to facilitate the positioning of the fabric vane to be connected to the clamping plate 40. The inner side 41 of each clamping plate 40 is provided with a plurality of protruding coupling portions 44. The outer side 42 of each clamping plate 40 is provided with an engagement groove 45 extending from the outer side 42 to the inner side 41 of the clamping plate 40.The outer side 42 of each clamping plate 40 is further provided with two protruding guide walls 46, wherein the engagement groove 45 of the clamping plate 40 is arranged between the two protruding guide walls 46 and the distance between the two protruding guide walls 46 is greater than or equal to the width of the corresponding clamping and fastening section 32 so that the two protruding guide walls 46 exert a position limiting effect on the corresponding clamping and fastening section 32.
[0015] The above structures of the present invention enable the use of the invention in the following manner. As in a conventional product, the slide carriages 20 are installed in the head rail 10, and the inner sides 41 of each pair of clamping plates 40 are each connected to the upper edge of a fabric slat 7 such that the lower edge of the stop wall 43 of each clamping plate 40 is precisely in contact with the upper edge of the corresponding fabric slat 7. By bringing the lower edge of each stop wall 43 into precise contact with the upper edge of the corresponding fabric slat 7 during assembly, a positioning function is performed for each fabric slat 7, allowing all fabric slats 7 to be mounted at the same height.
[0016] Thereafter, each clamping plate 40, together with the corresponding fabric slat 7, is inserted upward into the corresponding clamping groove 33 of the corresponding clamping base 30. During the insertion process, each clamping plate 40 and the corresponding fabric slat 7 are moved along the corresponding second inward guide surface 36, thus pushing the corresponding clamping and fastening portion 32 outward to facilitate entry into the corresponding clamping groove 33. When each clamping plate 40 is pressed against the corresponding first inward guide surface 35, the corresponding clamping and fastening portion 32 is pushed slightly further outward. When the engagement groove 45 of each clamping plate 40 aligns in position with the corresponding engagement hook 34, the corresponding engagement hook 34 will engage the engagement groove 45 and thus cooperate with the corresponding central plate portion 31 to firmly clamp the clamping plate 40 and the corresponding fabric slat 7 in position, with the corresponding clamping and fastening portion 32 located between the two protruding guide walls 46 of the clamping plate 40. Thus, each clamping plate 40 utilizes its engagement groove 45 and two protruding guide walls 46 to firmly engage the corresponding clamping and fastening portion 32.
[0017] Another function of the second inwardly directed guide surfaces 36 is that their outwardly curved configuration allows a user to easily remove the clamping plates 40 and the fabric slats 7. A user who wishes to remove a clamping plate 40 and the corresponding fabric slat 7 only needs to push the corresponding second inwardly directed guide surface 36 outward to further separate the corresponding clamping and fixing portion 32 from the corresponding central plate portion 31, and the corresponding engaging hook 34 is disengaged from the engaging groove 45 of the clamping plate 40, allowing the clamping plate 40 and the corresponding fabric slat 7 to be removed.
[0018] The present invention is constructed such that each clamping plate 40 and the corresponding fabric slat 7 are directly connected to the corresponding clamping base 30 by an upward insertion and snap-in operation. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a clearance between the upper edge of each clamping plate 40 and the lower edge of the head rail 10, i.e., the downward extension length of each clamping base 30 can be greatly reduced. In addition, once a clamping plate 40 engages the corresponding clamping groove 33, the clamping plate 40 and the corresponding clamping and fixing portion 32 are of the same height; in other words, the upper edge of a clamping plate 40 inserted into the corresponding clamping base 30 can be as close as possible to the lower edge of the head rail 10. From a comparison between Fig. 2 and Fig.5, it can be seen that the gap between the lower edge of the head rail 1 and the upper edge of a clamping plate 5 in the conventional product has been eliminated in the present invention to effectively improve the problem of light incidence in the prior art and thereby achieve the object of the invention.
