A safety retainer for double-track curtain cords is revealed. The safety retainer includes an outer base, an inner base, elastic members, a fixing base, and threaded parts. A through hole is disposed on each of two sides of the outer base and a separating pin is arranged between the through holes for separating space into and a first fixing hole and a second fixing hole that are mounted with a bead chain and a cord respectively. The inner base and the elastic member are mounted into the through hole of the outer base. The fixing base is covered over and connected to the outer base for stopping the elastic members. Then the inner base, outer and fixing bases are fastened on a wall surface by the threaded parts. Thereby the bead chain and the cord are positioned safely and children won't get tangled in them.

A device for protection of property against high winds comprising a flexible material of predetermined strength and stretch characteristics, and in the form of a panel or several panels, utilized to protect the side of a structure including its windows and doors from the strong winds and debris impacts occurring during a hurricane. The device includes first and second fixing members which each contain outer panels and fitting, elements which can be interconnected by an axle. The fitting elements are inserted into a cutout section on the edge of the displaceable element and interconnected. The fitting elements encompass a connection screw which can be connected to the guide device, the connection screw having a screw shaft with a screw head, a locking element and a thread. The fitting element of the first fixing member has a channel for receiving the screw shaft, the channel having channel walls, a trough for receiving the screw head and a cavity for receiving the securing element. The locking element can be stopped by a stop screw. The fitting element of the second fixing member has a recess for receiving the channel walls and an opening through which the screw head can be accessed. The assembled device can be adjusted by loosening the stop screws by a few turns and turning the connection screw until the displaceable element is set at the desired height. The stop screws are then re-tightened. The locking element is part of the connection screw and is encompassed in the device so that the top edge of the displaceable element can be drawn practically up to the rail.

In a spring-loaded curtain mount, the mount includes a pole interface at a proximal end, a compressive mechanism, and a head at a distal end. The pole interface is adapted to receive the end of a standard length adjustable pole or a painter's pole. The compression mechanism is disposed between the proximal end of the mount and the head. The disposable privacy curtain system includes a disposable curtain packaged and sold with novel pre-attached sliding carriers affixed to the top edge thereof that are adapted for rapid, snap-in engagement with existing ceiling tracks thereby allowing for rapid removal and replacement of the curtain system. A disposable hospital curtain in accordance with the present invention comprises sheet-like material formed as a generally rectangular panel with vertical fold lines that permit the panel to be drawn between to a compact stowed configuration wherein the curtain is disposed in a pleated and / or folded configuration, and an extended deployed configuration wherein the curtain is extended. In a preferred embodiment, the disposable hospital curtain is fabricated from non-woven polypropylene treated with an antimicrobial agent and a flame retardant.

A shade assembly includes a plurality of fastening blocks and a shade with a flexible frame. An electroplating rack includes a cathode flight bar from which depends an insulated rack bar over an acid bath. A clamp is fixed to the rack bar, and has a bridge electrically connected to the flight bar through a conducting core inside the insulated rack bar. Thus, electrical current can pass through the rack flight bar and conducting core, then through the bridge member, the spring clip and finally into the article to be electroplated. Once the rack is lowered to submerge the article into the acid bath, the latter will be electroplated with this current passing through the article.

Claimed and disclosed is a fastening device that can fasten itself to a sheet material and at the same time couples itself to an object, comprising a coupling means for slidably coupling the device to a substantially fixed object and an attachment means for attaching the sheet material to the device. The coupling means defines a receiving surface at a first portion, has an extended second portion thereof which is rotatably connected to an attachment means for attaching an object to the device. The coupling means further has a receiving means extending outwardly from the second portion of the coupling means to receive a material. The receiving means having a concavely-shaped first end and an enlarged second end to receive a material. The enlarged second end ensures the material stays securely in the concavely-shaped first end. The attachment means comprising two elongated outer members connected by a bridge, a first outer member comprising an extending member on its interior surface and extends toward a corresponding recess disposed on an interior surface of a second elongated outer member. The bridge of the attachment means defines a recess with a sleeve to receive the extended second portion of the coupling means to form the fastening device as claimed and disclosed in the present invention.

A window covering support rack includes an elongate rod having opposite ends mounted to and supported by end brackets that are fixed to a wall and an intermediate bracket fixed to the wall between the end brackets and supporting the rod. The intermediate bracket includes an L-shaped plate having an end section fixed to the wall and a horizontal section extending from the rod section and having a free end forming a recess for partially receiving and supporting the rod therein.
