Mounting systems for mounting solar panels to a surface are disclosed and can include panel clamp assemblies and rail clamp assemblies. Panel clamp assemblies can comprise a panel clamp having a base and arms extending from edges of the base, the base having an aperture, a rail clamp having a central portion with an aperture and two flexible tabs extending from the central portion on opposing sides of the aperture and a fastener threaded through the apertures such that that flexible tabs contact a head of the fastener and the arms extend in an opposite direction from the flexible tabs. Rail clamp assemblies can comprise a base member having a bottom and two side walls, the bottom having at least one aperture and each side wall having an elongated aperture, two clamping members and a fastener, wherein the side walls of the base member are positioned such that the opening is of sufficient size to receive the rail.

Mounting assembly for traffic cameras and other traffic control devices

A mounting assembly for supporting a traffic camera or other traffic control device high above traffic. The assembly includes a conventional camera bracket, a vertical pole of at least two inches in diameter, an adapter for attaching the camera bracket to the top of the pole, and a mounting bracket for attaching the pole to the mast arm or other support. The bracket includes an adapter plate by which the pole can be rotated relative to the support so the camera can be mounted on either a vertical or a horizontal support structure. The bracket also includes a clamp that attaches to the support structure by a three point attachment. This versatile mounting assembly can support a traffic control device 10-15 feet above the mast arm or other support, without significant movement of the pole relative to the bracket or of the bracket relative to the support.

The solar panel comprises a plurality of solar modules and a plurality of splices for coupling the plurality of solar modules together. The plurality of splices provide a way to make the connected modules mechanically rigid both during transport to the roof and after mounting for the lifetime of the system, provide wiring connections between modules, provide an electrical grounding path for the modules, provide a way to add modules to the panel, and provide a way to remove or change a defective module. Connector mount assemblies are provided on the sides of the modules to simplify the electrical assembly of modules when the modules are connected together with splices and to simplify the final connection of external wiring to the module.

A mounting apparatus is provided for mounting a computer server in a server rack structure. The server rack defines a first and second mounting apertures. A slide is provided having a bracket mounted to one end thereof. The bracket includes a first wall abutting the rack, and a second wall transverse to the first wall. A portion of the bracket extends into the first mounting aperture. A latch is mounted on the second wall of the bracket. The latch is movable between a first position wherein the latch extends into the second mounting aperture, and a second position wherein the latch does not extend into the mounting aperture. The latch cooperates with the portion of the bracket extending into the first mounting aperture to limit vertical movement of the bracket with respect to the rack.

A flame simulating device includes a substantially translucent shell having a hollow interior, a plurality of colored light sources, positioned within the hollow interior of said shell and a light source driving device for selectively activating each of said plurality of light sources. Each of the light sources are alternately and individually activated to have active periods and such that the surface of said shell is illuminated to produce an animated flame effect.
