A handle and light assembly for use on a barbecue grill. The assembly is inclusive of handle and at least one source of illumination for illuminating a cooking surface inside a hollow cooking chamber of the barbecue grill. The handle may function both as a means for opening a lid to access the cooking surface and also as a compartment for retaining the energy used to power the source of illumination. The lid includes at least one channel for the appropriate wiring to extend from the energy compartment to the illumination source. Accordingly, the handle may be located on the outside of the grill lid, and the source of illumination may be located inside the hollow cooking chamber.

A method and apparatus for tuning a feedforward compensation parameter in a motion control system is provided. According to one such embodiment, the method includes the acts of determining an initial value of a feedforward compensation parameter and commanding an initial movement of an actuator according to a test motion routine (wherein the initial value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator). Error associated with the initial movement is determined. A potential value of the feedforward compensation parameter is determined. A movement of the actuator is commanded according to the test motion routine (wherein the potential value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator) and error associated with the movement is determined. The errors associated with the movements are compared and, based on the act of comparing the errors, one of the values is selected as a current best value. In a further embodiment, such acts are repeated until the current best value is an optimum value.

A clothes drying cabinet is provided with an internal compartment for receiving clothes and having a plurality of air inlet nozzles. An air plenum provides air to the cabinet through the nozzles. The methods and apparatuses enable the spreading step to be automated. Thus the whole process for cleaning dirty rectangular sheets of fabric is automated by this invention.

The present invention relates to a multifunction machine for laundries, which comprises a body or frame (11) defining a treatment chamber (12) hermetically closed and equipped with means (15) for hanging elements (14), such as bed linen, clothes and garments, to be treated; means for removing stains, a wash and rinse; means for drying; and means for ironing said elements while they are hanging and stretched out in said treatment chamber.

The invention discloses a drier, comprising: a selective rotary drum for holding the object for drying; a steam supply unit connecting to a steam generator on one side, and to the drum on its other side; a swirler building into the steam supply unit at a set position, to swirl the steam flowing through it. A method for controlling the drier, comprising: a heating drum; feeding the steam obtained from the steam generator to the drum; and feeding the hot air to the drum. The drier with the structure can effectively remove the wrinkle.

The packaging machine can automatically fold, iron and package the garment.

Two paths parallel paths feed a common path. A clamp removes separate articles in each parallel path. Each path positions articles on opposite sides of a surface, such as a conveyor. In a back and forth motion, another clamp sequentially clamps the articles of laundry from the opposite sides and places each article on the surface. The present invention relates to a method of shaping a fibrous material and treatment compositions therefor. The method comprises providing a treatment composition comprising an active agent and a photocatalyst, applying the treatment composition to the fibrous material to form a treated fibrous material, mechanically shaping the treated fibrous material, and exposing the treated fibrous material to electromagnetic radiation. The treatment composition comprises an active agent, wherein the active agent comprises a high-polarity functional group, preferably selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl groups, carboxylic acid groups, and combinations thereof; and a photocatalyst.

Items of laundry are fed from an input machine to a mangle or some other laundry-treatment arrangement. Operating personnel are employed to feed the input machine with the items of laundry. This is costly in terms of time and personnel. The invention makes provision for determining surface profiles of the items of laundry by means of imaging installations. In the technical scheme of the invention, a pre-pressing treatment process is performed on the fabric before finishing liquor performs a chemical action on the fabric, so that the fabric is kept in a relatively ideal flat state when the finishing liquor performs the chemical action on the fabric, the internal stress of the fabric is reduced and the final anti-wrinkle and non-ironing effects of the fabric are improved.
