The present invention has the advantageous effect that the treatment of the laundry including washing, drying, smoothing out wrinkles, and keeping the laundry may be performed in one device.

According to one such embodiment, the method includes the acts of determining an initial value of a feedforward compensation parameter and commanding an initial movement of an actuator according to a test motion routine (wherein the initial value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator). Error associated with the initial movement is determined. A potential value of the feedforward compensation parameter is determined. A movement of the actuator is commanded according to the test motion routine (wherein the potential value of the parameter is used in the control of the actuator) and error associated with the movement is determined. The errors associated with the movements are compared and, based on the act of comparing the errors, one of the values is selected as a current best value. In a further embodiment, such acts are repeated until the current best value is an optimum value.

The invention discloses a drying and ironing integrated machine, comprising a support body, a vertical column position on the support body, a drying unit and an ironing unit. The methods and apparatuses enable the spreading step to be automated. Thus the whole process for cleaning dirty rectangular sheets of fabric is automated by this invention.

A method for controlling the drier, comprising: a heating drum; feeding the steam obtained from the steam generator to the drum; and feeding the hot air to the drum. The drier with the structure can effectively remove the wrinkle.

The present invention relates to a method of shaping a fibrous material and treatment compositions therefor. The method comprises providing a treatment composition comprising an active agent and a photocatalyst, applying the treatment composition to the fibrous material to form a treated fibrous material, mechanically shaping the treated fibrous material, and exposing the treated fibrous material to electromagnetic radiation. The treatment composition comprises an active agent, wherein the active agent comprises a high-polarity functional group, preferably selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl groups, carboxylic acid groups, and combinations thereof; and a photocatalyst.

Items of laundry are fed from an input machine to a mangle or some other laundry-treatment arrangement. Operating personnel are employed to feed the input machine with the items of laundry. This is costly in terms of time and personnel. The invention makes provision for determining surface profiles of the items of laundry by means of imaging installations. From these surface profiles a location for the automatic gripping of the item of laundry or of a corner of same, and preferably also the position of the location or corner, is determined by electronic image processing, whereby the location or corner of the item of laundry can be securely gripped in an automatic and targeted manner. In the technical scheme of the invention, a pre-pressing treatment process is performed on the fabric before finishing liquor performs a chemical action on the fabric, so that the fabric is kept in a relatively ideal flat state when the finishing liquor performs the chemical action on the fabric, the internal stress of the fabric is reduced and the final anti-wrinkle and non-ironing effects of the fabric are improved.
