[0026] Fig. 1A and Fig. 1B are perspective views of a display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0027] With reference to Fig. 1A and Fig. 1B, a display device 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a display part DP and a housing part HP.
[0028] The display part DP is configured to display images to a user. For example, display elements as well as display circuits, wiring, and components for operating the display elements may be arranged on the display part DP. In this case, because the display device 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is a rollable display device 100, the display part DP may be configured to be wound up or unwound. For example, the display part DP may include a display panel 120 that has flexibility to be wound up or unwound, and a plurality of rear strips 110. A more detailed description of the display part DP will be given below with reference to Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B.
[0029] The HP housing part is a housing capable of accommodating the DP indicator part. The DP indicator part can be wound up and accommodated within the HP housing part. The DP indicator part can be unwound and arranged outside the HP housing part.
[0030] The housing part HP has an opening portion HP0 through which the indicator part DP can move toward the exterior or interior of the housing part HP0. The indicator part DP can move in an up / down direction while passing through the opening portion HP0 of the housing part HP0.
[0031] Meanwhile, the display part DP of the display device 100 may change from a fully unwound state to a fully wound state or change from the fully wound state to the fully unwound state.
[0032] Fig. 1A illustrates that the display part DP of the display device 100 is in the fully unfolded state. The fully unfolded state is a state in which the display part DP of the display device 100 is located outside the housing part HP. That is, the fully unfolded state can be defined as a state in which the display part DP is maximally unfolded and located outside the housing part HP and cannot be further unfolded to allow a user to view the image on the display device 100.
[0033] Fig. 1B illustrates that the display part DP of the display device 100 is in the fully wound state. The fully wound state is a state in which the display part DP of the display device 100 is housed in the housing part HP and cannot be further wound. That is, the configuration in which the display part DP is not disposed outside the housing part HP is advantageous in terms of external appearance when the user does not see the image on the display device 100. Therefore, the fully wound state can be defined as a state in which the display part DP is wound and housed in the housing part HP. Moreover, in the state in which the display part DP is housed in the housing part HP, the volume of the display device 100 decreases, and the display device 100 can be easily transported. <anzeigeteil>
[0034] Fig. 2A is a plan view of the display part of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 2B is a rear view of the display part of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0035] With reference to Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B, the display part DP of the display device 100 includes the plurality of rear bars 110, the display panel 120, flexible films 130, and a circuit board 140.
[0036] The display panel 120 is a panel configured to display images to a user. The display panel 120 may include a display element configured to display images, a drive element configured to drive the display element, and lines configured to transmit various types of signals to the display element and the drive element.
[0037] Different display elements may be defined depending on the types of display panels 120. For example, in a case where the display panel 120 is an organic light-emitting display panel, the display element may be an organic light-emitting element including an anode, an organic light-emitting layer, and a cathode. For example, in a case where the display panel 120 is a liquid crystal display panel, the display element may be a liquid crystal display element. Furthermore, in a case where the display panel 120 is a light-emitting display panel including an LED, the display element may be the LED. Hereinafter, it is assumed that the display panel 120 is an organic light-emitting display panel. However, the display panel 120 is not limited to the organic light-emitting display panel.Furthermore, because the display device 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure is a rollable display device, the display panel 120 may be configured as a flexible display panel to be wound around or unwound from a rolling device part.
[0038] With reference to Fig. 2A, the display panel 120 has a display area AA and a non-display area NA.
[0039] The display area AA is an area of the display panel 120 in which images are displayed. The display area AA may include a plurality of subpixels constituting a plurality of pixels and a drive circuit configured to drive the plurality of subpixels. The plurality of subpixels are minimal units constituting the display area AA. The display element may be arranged in each of the plurality of subpixels. For example, the plurality of subpixels may each include the light-emitting element including the anode, a light-emitting layer, and a cathode. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Furthermore, the circuit configured to drive the plurality of subpixels may include drive elements, lines, and the like. For example, the circuit may include a thin-film transistor, a storage capacitor, a gate line, a data line, and the like. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0040] The non-display area NA is an area in which no image is displayed. The non-display area NA is arranged to surround an outer periphery of the display area AA. Various wiring and circuits for driving the organic light-emitting element in the display area AA are arranged in the non-display area NA. For example, the non-display area NA may include connection lines for transmitting signals to the plurality of subpixels and the circuit in the display area AA. The non-display area NA may include a driver IC such as a gate driver IC and a data driver IC. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0041] The flexible film 130 is a film having various types of components arranged on a flexible base film having flexibility. The flexible film 130 may have ductility. A portion of the flexible film 130 may be wound around the rolling device together with the display panel 120 or unwound therefrom. The flexible film 130 may supply signals to the plurality of subpixels and the circuit in the display area AA. The flexible film 130 may be electrically connected to the display panel 120. The flexible film 130 is arranged at one end of the display panel 120 and supplies a power voltage, a data voltage, and the like to the plurality of subpixels and the circuit in the display area AA. The number of flexible films 130 arranged in Fig. 2A is an example, and the number of flexible sheets 130 can be changed in various ways according to the design. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0042] Meanwhile, for example, the driver IC, such as the gate driver IC and the data driver IC, may also be arranged on the flexible film 130. A driver IC is a component configured to process data for displaying the image and a drive signal for processing the data. The driver IC may be arranged in ways such as a chip-on-glass (COG) method, a chip-on-film (COF) method, and a tape carrier package (TCP) method, depending on how the driver IC is mounted. However, for the convenience of description, the configuration in which the driver IC is mounted on the flexible film 130 using the chip-on-film method has been described. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0043] The circuit board 140 is arranged at one end of the flexible film 130 and connected to the flexible film 130. The circuit board 140 is a component for supplying a signal to the driver IC. The circuit board 140 supplies various signals, such as drive signals and data signals, to the driver IC. Various types of components can be arranged on the circuit board 140. For example, a timing device, a power source unit, and the like can be arranged on the circuit board 140. Fig. 2A illustrates a circuit board 140. However, the number of circuit boards 140 can be changed in various ways according to the design. The present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0044] However, although in Fig. 2A, an additional circuit board may be further arranged, which is connected to the circuit board 140. For example, the circuit board 140 may be referred to as a source circuit board (Source-PCB (S-PCB)) on which a data drive part is mounted. The additional circuit board connected to the circuit board 140 may be referred to as a control circuit board (Control-PCB (C-PCB)) on which the timing control device and the like are mounted. The additional circuit board may be arranged in the rolling device part. The additional circuit board may be provided outside the rolling device part and arranged within the housing part HP.
[0045] With reference to Fig. 2B, the plurality of rear slats 110 may be disposed on a rear surface of the display panel 120. The plurality of rear slats 110 may support the display panel 120. When the display panel 120 is wound around or unwound from the rolling device, the bearing forces of the rear slats 110 may support the display panel 120 and prevent the display panel 120 from being scratched and damaged. The plurality of rear slats 110 may each be referred to as a skirt member. The plurality of rear slats 110 may be made of a plastic material. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. However, the plurality of rear slats 110 may be attached using a separate bonding layer or a foam tape.
[0046] The plurality of rear ledges 110 may be disposed on the rear surface of the display panel 120 and spaced apart from each other. Therefore, a portion of the rear surface of the display panel 120 may be exposed via spaced-apart gaps between the plurality of rear ledges 110. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. That is, the plurality of rear ledges 110 may be arranged to abut one another such that the rear surface of the display panel 120 is not exposed via the plurality of rear ledges 110.
[0047] Fig. 2A and Fig. 2B illustrates that the plurality of rear ledges 110 are arranged on the rear surface of the display panel 120. However, a rear cover having a plurality of opening portions may be additionally arranged between the display panel 120 and the plurality of rear ledges 110. Furthermore, only the rear cover may be used without the plurality of rear ledges 110. <AUFBAU DER ANZEIGEVORRICHTUNG>
[0048] Fig. 3A is a front perspective view of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 3B is a rear perspective view of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0049] With reference to Fig. 3A and Fig. 3B, the display device 100 comprises the display part DP, a roller part RP, a frame part FP, a band spring 161, a head bar 162 and a sliding part 163.
[0050] The rolling device part RP comprises a first rolling device (R1), a second rolling device (R2), a third rolling device (R3), a motor (MT) and a coil spring (SS).
[0051] The first rolling device R1 is configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Therefore, the first rolling device R1 can wind or unwind the display part DP. The first rolling device R1 may have a cylindrical shape. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0052] The second rolling device R2 is configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. Therefore, the second rolling device R2 can wind or unwind the ribbon spring 161. The second rolling device R2 can be arranged below the first rolling device R1. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. The second rolling device R2 is described below with reference to Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 are described.
[0053] The third rolling device R3 is configured to rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. The third rolling device R3 is arranged adjacent to the first rolling device R1. The third rolling device R3 can be arranged in a route in which the display part DP is wound or unwound. Therefore, the third rolling device R3 can guide the winding movement or unwinding movement of the display part DP.
[0054] The motor MT can be arranged at one end of the second rolling device R2 and connected to the second rolling device R2. The motor MT can rotate the first rolling device R1, the second rolling device R2, and the third rolling device R3 of the rolling device part RP clockwise or counterclockwise. The motor MT can be connected to and supplied with power from a power source part, such as a separate external power source, an embedded battery, or the like.
[0055] The coil spring SS may be arranged at the other end of the second rolling device R2 and connected to the second rolling device R2. The coil spring SS is a member having elastic force. When the coil spring SS is wound or unwound, the coil spring SS can maintain the display part DP in a flat state while applying tensile stress to the display part DP. Specifically, the coil spring SS can apply a force in a winding direction to the rolling device RP using tensile stress of the spring. That is, the elastic force stored in the coil spring SS can increase as the display part DP is wound. Therefore, when the display part DP is completely unwound, the tensile stress is applied to the display part DP such that the display part DP can be maintained flat. Furthermore, the display part DP can be wound more easily. In addition, the indicator part DP can be unwound more easily by means of the elastic force of the coil spring SS.
[0056] The frame part FP is coupled to the rolling device part RP and configured to support the rolling device part RP. The frame part FP includes a main frame MF and side frames SF, which are provided on two opposite sides of the main frame MF. The sliding part 163 is coupled to the main frame MF. The rolling device part RP is coupled to the side frames SF.
[0057] The frame part FP may include a first gear G1, a second gear G2, and a third gear G3 connected to the side frame SF. The first gear G1 may be connected to one end of the first rolling device R1 and configured to rotate together with the first rolling device R1. The second gear G2 may be connected to one end of the coil spring SS connected to the second rolling device R2, and the second gear G2 may be configured to rotate together with the second rolling device R2. The third gear G3 may be arranged between the first gear G1 and the second gear G2 and configured to mesh with the first gear G1 and the second gear G2. Therefore, the rotation of the motor MT can be sequentially transmitted to the second rolling device R2, the coil spring SS, the second gear G2, the third gear G3, and the first gear G1.Furthermore, the first rolling device R1 and the second rolling device R2 can be rotated together by means of the rotations of the second gear G2, the third gear G3 and the first gear G1.
[0058] The band spring 161 can move the display part DP in an up / down direction in cooperation with the operation of the rolling device part RP. The band spring 161 is arranged on a rear surface of the display part DP. An upper end of the band spring 161 is fixed to an upper end of the display panel 120, and a lower end of the band spring 161 is fixed to the second rolling device R2. Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound around or unwound from the second rolling device R2 and move the display part DP in the up / down direction in cooperation with the operation of the rolling device RP.
[0059] The ribbon spring 161 may be a bistable coiled composite (BRC) element. The ribbon spring 161 may be coiled or uncoiled in a column direction, i.e., a longitudinal direction of the ribbon spring 161, while being coiled or uncoiled in a row direction, i.e., a width direction of the ribbon spring 161. When the ribbon spring 161 is kept uncoiled (flat) in the row direction, the ribbon spring 161 is coiled in the column direction. In contrast, when the ribbon spring 161 is kept coiled in the row direction, the ribbon spring 161 has stiffness in the column direction and is therefore uncoiled in the longitudinal direction.
[0060] In this case, the stiffness of the band spring 161 in the column direction is related to the degree to which the band spring 161 is rolled in the row direction. That is, the degree to which the band spring 161 is rolled in the row direction can be appropriately selected depending on the stiffness required in the column direction for the display part DP.
[0061] In the display device 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the ribbon spring 161 is unwound or wound in the row direction such that the ribbon spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the column direction. Specifically, when the rolling device part RP is wound, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound around the second rolling device R2 while being wound in a column direction. In this case, the display panel 120 can be wound around the first rolling device R1 while moving together with the ribbon spring 161. Moreover, when the rolling device part RP is unwound, the ribbon spring 161 of the second rolling device R2 can be unwound while being unwound in the column direction. In this case, the display panel 120 can be unwound of the first rolling device R1 while moving together with the ribbon spring 161.
[0062] Furthermore, when the rolling device part RP performs the unwinding operation, the ribbon spring 161 unwound in the column direction can have rigidity in the column direction, thereby restricting sway and twisting of the unwound display panel 120. Therefore, the unwound display panel 120 can be kept flat by the rigidity of the ribbon spring 161 as long as other external forces act.
[0063] Meanwhile, the band spring 161 has a plurality of guide holes 161a. The plurality of guide holes 161a may be formed through the band spring 161. The plurality of guide holes 161a may be arranged in a longitudinal direction of the band spring 161. That is, the plurality of guide holes 161a may be arranged in the column direction of the band spring 161. The plurality of guide holes 161a may be formed to be spaced apart from each other at predetermined intervals. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this. Furthermore, the plurality of guide holes 161a may each have an elliptical shape. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this.
[0064] The plurality of guide holes 161a may correspond to a plurality of guide protrusions 151a of a ribbon spring drum 151, which will be described below. When the ribbon spring 161 is wound around the ribbon spring drum 151, the plurality of guide protrusions 151a may be inserted into the plurality of guide holes 161a. That is, the winding operation of the ribbon spring 161 around the ribbon spring drum 151 can be guided more smoothly by means of the plurality of guide holes 161a and the plurality of guide protrusions 151a. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring 161 when the ribbon spring 161 is wound around or unwound from the ribbon spring drum 151.
[0065] The header bar 162 may be arranged at an uppermost end of the display part DP. The header bar 162 is arranged to fix the display part DP and an upper end of the ribbon spring 161. The header bar 162 covers only a portion of a surface of the display part DP adjacent to an edge of the uppermost end of the display part DP so as not to obscure the image displayed on a front surface of the display part DP. For example, the display part DP and the header bar 162 may be fixed by a screw. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0066] The sliding part 163 is arranged on the rear surface of the display part DP. One end of the sliding part 163 may be fixed to the main frame MF, and the other end of the sliding part 163 may be fixed to the header bar 162. The sliding part 163 may be provided as a pair of sliding parts 163, which are arranged individually on two opposite sides of the band spring 161 in a respective manner. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this. For example, the sliding part 163 may slide to extend or contract through three stages. The sliding part 163, together with the band spring 161, may move the display part DP in the up / down direction. Furthermore, when the display part DP is unwound, the sliding part 163 can prevent the display part DP from swinging and support the display part DP. <AUFBAU DER ZWEITEN ROLLVORRICHTUNG>
[0067] Fig. 4 is a perspective view of the second scrolling device of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 5 is an exploded perspective view of the second scrolling device of the display device according to the embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0068] With reference to Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, the second rolling device R2 includes the band spring drum 151, a plurality of pivot pins 152, band spring side frames 153, a coupling part 154, a band spring guide device 155, and bearings 156.
[0069] The band spring drum 151 has a cylindrical shape, and one side of the band spring drum 151 can be connected to the motor MT. Therefore, the band spring drum 151 can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by the operation of the motor MT. One end of the band spring 161 is fixed to the band spring drum 151. When the band spring drum 151 is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by the motor MT, the band spring 161, which is fixed to the band spring drum 151, can be wound around or unwound from the band spring drum 151. That is, the band spring drum 151 can be configured to wind or unwind the band spring 161.
[0070] The band spring drum 151 has a plurality of guide protrusions 151a. The plurality of guide protrusions 151a may be arranged in the column direction along an outer peripheral surface of the band spring drum 151 around which the band spring 161 is wound. The plurality of guide protrusions 151a may be formed to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the band spring drum 151. The plurality of guide protrusions 151a may be formed to be spaced apart from each other at predetermined intervals. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this. Furthermore, the plurality of guide protrusions 151a may be formed in shapes corresponding to the plurality of guide holes 161a. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this.
[0071] The plurality of guide protrusions 151a can correspond to the plurality of guide holes 161a. The plurality of guide protrusions 151a can be inserted into the plurality of guide holes 161a when the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151. Therefore, as the band spring drum 151 rotates, the band spring 161 can be wound around or unwound from the band spring drum 151 to a predetermined extent. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap and slippage in the band spring.
[0072] The band spring drum 151 has a band spring drum extension portion 151b that extends outward. That is, the band spring drum extension portion 151b may be arranged in a shape that protrudes outward from the band spring drum 151. Further, the coil spring SS may be coupled to the band spring drum extension portion 151b. Therefore, when the coil spring SS is wound or unwound, the coil spring SS can maintain the indicator part DP in a flat state while exerting tensile stress on the indicator part DP.
[0073] The plurality of pivot pins 152 are arranged along the outer peripheral surface of the band spring drum 151. The plurality of pivot pins 152 are arranged so that they are spaced apart from the band spring drum 151. The plurality of pivot pins 152 can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. In this case, the rotation axes of the plurality of pivot pins 152 and a rotation axis of the band spring drum 151 can be parallel to each other. However, because the plurality of pivot pins 152 are not connected to the motor MT, the rotations of the plurality of pivot pins 152 are not performed by the motor MT. The plurality of pivot pins 152 can be arranged outside a region in which the band spring 161 is wound. The plurality of pivot pins 152 can be arranged so that they surround the outer peripheral surface of the band spring drum 151.Therefore, even if the band spring 161 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 abut each other, friction between the band spring 161 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 can be minimized.
[0074] Specifically, when the band spring 161 is wound or unwound, the band spring 161 can be partially separated without being completely tightly fitted to the band spring drum 151 in the direction toward the band spring drum 151. In this case, because the plurality of pivot pins 152, which are rotatable, are arranged outside the band spring drum 151, the plurality of pivot pins 152 can also rotate in accordance with the movement of the band spring 161 even when the band spring 161 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 abut each other. Therefore, friction that may occur when the band spring 161 is wound or unwound can be suppressed, and the band spring 161 can be wound and unwound more stably.
[0075] The band spring side frames 153 are provided as a pair of band spring side frames 153 on two opposite sides of the band spring drum 151. The pair of band spring side frames 153 may cover side surfaces of the band spring drum 151, side surfaces of the plurality of pivot pins 152, and side surfaces of the band spring 161 wound around the band spring drum 151. The pair of band spring side frames 153 may be arranged so as to be opposite to each other.
[0076] The pair of band spring side frames 153 may be associated with two opposite ends of the band spring drum 151 and two opposite ends of the plurality of pivot pins 152, respectively. The pair of band spring side frames 153 may include a first hole 153a connected to one end of the band spring drum 151 and a plurality of second holes 153b connected to ends of the plurality of pivot pins 152, respectively. The plurality of second holes 153b may be spaced apart from each other to correspond to the plurality of pivot pins 152. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0077] The coupling part 154 is arranged above the band spring drum 151 and coupled to the pair of band spring side frames 153. That is, the coupling part 154 can be coupled to the pair of band spring side frames 153 and connect the pair of band spring side frames 153. Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 illustrate that the pair of band spring side frames 153 and the coupling part 154 are provided separately. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto. That is, the pair of band spring side frames 153 and the coupling part 154 may be integrally formed.
[0078] The band spring guide device 155 is arranged above the coupling part 154. The band spring guide device 155 can be connected to the coupling part 154 to correspond to a position of the band spring 161. Therefore, the band spring guide device 155 can guide the winding or unwinding movement of the band spring 161. Furthermore, the band spring guide device 155 can prevent the fluctuation of the band spring 161 and securely support the band spring 161.
[0079] The bearing 156 is arranged between the band spring drum 151 and the band spring side frame 153. The bearings 156 can be connected to two opposite sides of the band spring drum 151. The bearings 156 can support two opposite sides of the band spring drum 151, so that the band spring drum 151 can rotate relative to the band spring side frame 153. The rotation of the band spring drum 151 can be easily accomplished using the bearings 156. Fig. 4 and Fig. 5 illustrate that the second rolling device R2 includes the bearings 156. However, in some cases, the bearing 156 may be omitted.
[0080] However, although in Fig. 4 and Fig. 5, bearings may be arranged between the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the band spring side frames 153. The bearings may be coupled to the two opposite sides of the plurality of pivot pins 152 to allow the plurality of pivot pins 152 to easily rotate relative to the band spring side frames 153. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0081] Different operating environments may make it somewhat difficult for the ribbon spring to always be wound or unwound with the specified tension while the ribbon spring is wound around or unwound from the ribbon spring drum. For example, the outer diameter of the ribbon spring wound around the ribbon spring drum may decrease during the winding process and increase during the unwinding process. Therefore, a gap may be formed in the ribbon spring wound around the ribbon spring drum. For example, a separation space may be formed between a ribbon spring part that is first wound around the ribbon spring drum and a ribbon spring part that is second wound around the ribbon spring drum. The gap may cause slippage, which misaligns a position of the ribbon spring, which may even cause slippage between the ribbon spring and the indicator part. This may eventually lead to slippage, which partially changes the speed of the display part as the display part moves upward or downward, which may affect the quality of the display device. Furthermore, the gap may cause friction between the ribbon spring and the housing configured to accommodate the ribbon spring drum. That is, if the outer diameter of the ribbon spring wound around the ribbon spring drum increases, the ribbon spring may contact an inner surface of the housing, causing friction. This leads to unstable winding and unwinding of the ribbon spring and deteriorates the durability of the display device.
[0082] In the display device 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the ribbon spring 161 has the plurality of guide holes 161a, and the ribbon spring drum 151 has the plurality of guide projections 151a. When the ribbon spring 161 is wound around the ribbon spring drum 151, the plurality of guide projections 151a of the ribbon spring drum 151 can be inserted into the plurality of guide holes 161a of the ribbon spring 161. That is, the operation of winding the ribbon spring 161 around the ribbon spring drum 151 or unwinding the ribbon spring 161 from the ribbon spring drum 151 can be guided by the process of inserting the plurality of guide projections 151a into the plurality of guide holes 161a.
[0083] Specifically, when the ribbon spring drum 151 rotates, the ribbon spring 161 can physically move by a predetermined amount. In other words, a degree to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound or unwound can be maintained constant while the ribbon spring drum 151 rotates. Moreover, because the plurality of guide protrusions 151a are inserted into the plurality of guide holes 161a, the ribbon spring 161 can be stably kept wound around the ribbon spring drum 151. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap in the wound ribbon spring 161. Furthermore, because the occurrence of a gap is prevented, slippage between the ribbon spring 161 and the display part DP can be prevented. Therefore, the display part DP can be stably moved upward or downward by means of the ribbon spring 161, which can improve the quality of the display device 100.
[0084] The display device 100 according to the embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of pivot pins 152 spaced apart from the ribbon spring drum 151 and arranged to surround the outer peripheral surface of the ribbon spring drum 151. In this case, the plurality of pivot pins 152 can rotate in cooperation with the movement of the ribbon spring 161. Specifically, when the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the wound or unwound ribbon spring 161 abut each other, the plurality of pivot pins 152 can be rotated clockwise or counterclockwise by the movement of the ribbon spring 161. Therefore, even when the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the ribbon spring 161 abut each other, the ribbon spring 161 can be smoothly wound or unwound by the plurality of rotatable pivot pins 152.Therefore, the friction between the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the ribbon spring 161 can be minimized, and the durability of the display device 100 can be improved. Furthermore, a separate housing for accommodating the ribbon spring drum 151 can be omitted, which can reduce the weight of the display device 100.
[0085] Fig. 6 is an exploded perspective view of a second scrolling device of a display device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 7 is a plan view of the second scrolling device of the display device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. Figure 8A is a cross-sectional view taken along line VIIIa-VIIIa' in Fig. 7 was recorded. Fig. Figure 8B is a cross-sectional view taken along line VIIIb-VIIIb' in Fig. 7. To simplify the description, Fig. 8A and Fig. 8B shows the band spring side frame 153, which is indicated by the dashed line. The display device in Fig. 6 to 8B is essentially identical to the display device 100 in Fig. 1 to 5, except for the second holes 653b, a plurality of sub-rollers 657, and a flat spring 658. Therefore, repeated description will be omitted.
[0086] With reference to Fig. 6 to 8B, the second rolling device R2 includes the band spring drum 151, the plurality of pivot pins 152, the band spring side frames 153, the coupling part 154, the band spring guide device 155, the bearings 156, the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657, and the flat spring 658.
[0087] The band spring side frames 153 are provided as a pair of band spring side frames 153 on the two opposite sides of the band spring drum 151. The pair of band spring side frames 153 may each have the second holes 653b coupled to the ends of the plurality of pivot pins 152. In this case, the second hole 653b may extend along an outer periphery of the band spring side frames 153.
[0088] The second hole 653b may include a first portion 653b1 and a plurality of second portions 653b2, which will be described below. The first portion 653b1 may be a portion extending along the outer periphery of the ribbon spring side frame 153. Moreover, the flat spring 658 may be disposed in the first portion 653b1. The plurality of second portions 653b2 may be portions protruding from the first portion 653b1 toward the first hole 153a. The plurality of second portions 653b2 may be configured to be spaced apart from each other and connected by the first portion 653b1. The plurality of pivot pins 152 may be inserted into the plurality of second portions 653b2 in a respective manner. In particular, the plurality of pivot pins 152 may be configured to move in the plurality of second portions 653b2 in a direction toward or away from the band spring drum 151. The first portion 653b1 and the second portion 653b2 are described below with reference to FIG. Fig. 9A to 10B are described.
[0089] The plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 are coupled in a respective manner to the plurality of pivot pins 152. The plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 may be arranged to abut the band spring 161 wound around the band spring drum 151. As shown in Fig. 7, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 may be arranged symmetrically on two opposite sides with respect to the plurality of guide projections 151a. Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 illustrate that two sub-rolling devices 657 are arranged on a pivot pin 152. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0090] The plurality of sub-rollers 657 can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise. The plurality of sub-rollers 657 can rotate in cooperation with the movement of the band spring 161. In particular, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 abutting the band spring 161 can be rotated by the movement of the band spring 161 while the band spring 161 is wound or unwound. Therefore, even when the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the band spring 161 abut against each other, the band spring 161 can be smoothly wound or unwound by the plurality of rotatable pivot pins 152. Meanwhile, a bearing can be arranged between the pivot pin 152 and the sub-roller 657 to allow the sub-roller 657 to rotate smoothly. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0091] The plurality of sub-rollers 657 may be configured to press the band spring 161 wound around the band spring drum 151 toward the band spring drum 151. That is, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 press the band spring 161 while abutting against the band spring 161, so that the band spring 161 can be wound in a state where the band spring 161 is tightly fitted to the band spring drum 151. Therefore, it is possible to suppress slippage that occurs when the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151.
[0092] Meanwhile, a force exerted by the plurality of sub-rollers 657 to press the ribbon spring 161 can be generated by the elasticity of the flat spring 658. The flat spring 658 can be configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151. In this case, because the plurality of sub-rollers 657 are coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can also be pressed toward the ribbon spring drum 151 by the flat spring 658. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring 161 when the ribbon spring 161 is wound or unwound.
[0093] The flat spring 658 may be provided as a pair of flat springs 658, which correspond in a respective manner to the pair of band spring side frames 153. The flat springs 658 are arranged to abut the plurality of pivot pins 152. Meanwhile, the flat spring 658 may be fixed to the plurality of pivot pins 152 in areas where the flat spring 658 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 are in contact with each other. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0094] The flat spring 658 is disposed in the second hole 653b of the band spring side frame 153. The flat spring 658 may be disposed in the second hole 653b and abut against the plurality of pivot pins 152. The flat spring 658 may be disposed in the second hole 653b and have a shape that extends along the second hole 653b. Furthermore, the flat spring 658 may protrude toward the second portions 653b2 or extend toward the first portion 653b1, depending on the degree to which the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151.
[0095] As in Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B, which will be described below, the flat spring 658 may have a shape that is bent so that it protrudes toward the plurality of pivot pins 152 in the areas where the flat spring 658 abuts against the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the flat spring 658 may be configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the band spring drum 151. Furthermore, the flat spring 658 may be made of a material that has elasticity so that a shape of the flat spring 658 can be changed by an external force. Therefore, as shown in Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B, which will be described below, the bent portions of the flat spring 658 are stretched toward the outside of the band spring drum 151 when the plurality of pivot pins 152 in the plurality of second sections 653b2 move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151. In this case, because the flat spring 658 has elasticity, the flat spring 658 has a force that returns the flat spring 658 to the original shape bent toward the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, even when the flat spring 658 is stretched, the flat spring 658 can continuously exert the force on the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the band spring drum 151.Therefore, the force exerted toward the ribbon spring drum 151 can be exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the plurality of sub-rollers 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, regardless of the shape of the flat spring 658.
[0096] Hereinafter, the operations of the plurality of pivot pins 152, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 and the flat spring 658 in accordance with the winding movement or the unwinding movement of the ribbon spring 161 will be specifically explained with reference to Fig. 9A to 10B are described.
[0097] Fig. 9A to 10B are cross-sectional views for explaining the operation of the second scrolling device of the display device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 9A illustrates a state in which the ribbon spring 161 is wound approximately once around the ribbon spring drum 151 of the display device. Fig. Figure 9B is an enlarged view of area A in Fig. 9A. Fig. 10A illustrates a state in which the ribbon spring 161 is wound approximately three times around the ribbon spring drum 151 of the display device. Fig. Figure 10B is an enlarged view of area B in Fig. 10A. Meanwhile, Fig. 9A to 10B are cross-sectional views illustrating the second holes 653b of the band spring side frame 153 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the flat spring 658 disposed in the second holes 653b. However, for convenience of description, Fig. 9A to 10B illustrate the band spring 161, the band spring drum 151, the sub-roller 657, and the like.
[0098] First, with reference to Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound approximately once around the ribbon spring drum 151 by rotating the ribbon spring drum 151. In this case, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be arranged to abut the outer peripheral surface of the wound ribbon spring 161. Specifically, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the ribbon spring 161 toward the ribbon spring drum 151 with the aid of the flat spring 658. Therefore, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state where it is tightly fitted to the ribbon spring drum 151.
[0099] More precisely, as in Fig. 9B, the plurality of pivot pins 152 coupled to the plurality of sub-rollers 657 may be inserted into the second portions 653b2 of the plurality of second holes 653b. Furthermore, the flat spring 658 abutting the plurality of pivot pins 152 may be arranged to protrude from the first portion 653b1 of the second hole 653b toward the second portions 653b2 and urge the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the band spring drum 151. Specifically, the flat spring 658 may be configured to be bent toward the inner sides of the plurality of second portions 653b2 when the plurality of pivot pins 152 are arranged in the plurality of second portions 653b2.That is, the flat spring 658 is bent and exerts pressure on the plurality of pivot pins 152 such that a force for pressing the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the inner sides of the second portions 653b2 can be exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152. In this case, because the plurality of sub-rollers 657 are coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, a force for pressing the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be exerted on the plurality of sub-rollers 657 in the same direction as the force exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 toward the band spring drum 151.
[0100] Next, with reference to Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B, the band spring 161 can be wound around the band spring drum 151 approximately three times by means of the rotation of the band spring drum 151. The sum of a diameter of the band spring drum 151 and a diameter of the band spring 161 wound around the band spring drum 151 can increase as the extent to which the band spring 161 is wound increases. That is, the sum of the diameter of the band spring drum 151 and the diameter of the wound band spring 161 can be in the state in Fig. 9A and Fig. 9B be larger than in the state in Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B. In this case, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 may be arranged to abut against the outer peripheral surface of the wound ribbon spring 161.
[0101] Specifically, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151 as the diameter of the band spring drum 151 and the diameter of the wound band spring 161 increase. That is, a distance between the plurality of sub-rollers 657 and the band spring drum 151 can increase as the extent to which the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151 increases. In other words, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be pushed in the direction away from the band spring drum 151 as the extent to which the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151 increases. However, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 in the direction toward the band spring drum 151 by means of the elasticity of the flat spring 658, regardless of the distance between the plurality of sub-rollers 657 and the band spring drum 151.Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state in which it is tightly attached to the band spring drum 151.
[0102] More precisely, as in Fig. 10B, because the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151, the plurality of pivot pins 152 coupled to the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 also move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151. That is, a distance between the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the band spring drum 151 can increase as the extent to which the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151 increases. At the same time, the plurality of pivot pins 152 can move outward from the inner sides of the plurality of second sections 653b2. When the plurality of pivot pins 152 are arranged outside the plurality of second sections 653b2, the flat spring 658 bent in the plurality of second sections 653b2 can be stretched toward the outer side of the plurality of second sections 653b2.In other words, the bent flat spring 658 can be stretched as the extent to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound around the ribbon spring drum 151 increases. Furthermore, the flat spring 658 can be arranged such that, when the flat spring 658 is stretched, it fills two opposite portions of the first portion 653b1.
[0103] Meanwhile, even when the flat spring 658 is stretched, the flat spring 658 can exert a force on the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151. This is because the flat spring 658 is made of a material that has elasticity and thus has the property of returning to its original shape. That is, the flat spring 658 can have an elastic force to be bent toward the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the flat spring 658 can exert the force on the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the inner sides of the plurality of second portions 653b2. In this case, because the plurality of sub-rollers 657 are coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, a force for pressing the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be exerted on the plurality of sub-rollers 657 in the same direction as the force exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152.Therefore, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 in the direction toward the band spring drum 151.
[0104] Meanwhile, Fig. 10A and Fig. 10B illustrates that the plurality of pivot pins 152 are disposed at the outermost peripheral portions of the plurality of second portions 653b2 when the ribbon spring 161 is wound three times around the ribbon spring drum 151. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this. That is, depths of the plurality of second portions 653b2 may be variously changed in accordance with a design of the display device. Furthermore, although not shown, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 may be disposed to abut against the ribbon spring drum 151 in the state where the ribbon spring 161 is completely unwound. However, the present disclosure is not limited to this.
[0105] In the display device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, the ribbon spring 161 has the plurality of guide holes 161a, and the ribbon spring drum 151 has the plurality of guide protrusions 151a. When the ribbon spring drum 151 rotates, the ribbon spring 161 can physically move by a predetermined amount. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring 161.
[0106] In the display device according to another embodiment of the present disclosure, the second rolling device R2 further includes the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 and the flat spring 658. The plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 may be coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152. The plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 may be arranged to abut against the wound ribbon spring 161. The flat spring 658 may be arranged to abut against the plurality of pivot pins 152. Specifically, the flat spring 658 may have a shape bent to protrude toward the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the flat springs 658 may be configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151.Furthermore, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152 may also be configured to press the band spring 161 toward the band spring drum 151 with the aid of the flat spring 658. In this case, the flat spring 658 may be made of an elastic material and bent or stretched depending on the degree to which the band spring 161 is wound. Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state where it is tightly fitted to the band spring drum 151. Therefore, it is possible to more effectively prevent the occurrence of a gap and slippage in the band spring 161.
[0107] Fig. 11 is an exploded perspective view of a second scrolling device of a display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 12A and Fig. 12B are cross-sectional views for explaining an operation of the second scrolling device of the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure. The display device in Fig. 11 to 12B is essentially identical to the display device in Fig. 6 to 10B, except for the second holes 1153b and the flat springs 1158. Therefore, repeated description will be omitted.
[0108] First, with reference to Fig. 11, the plurality of second holes 1153b and the plurality of flat springs 1158 may be provided.
[0109] The plurality of second holes 1153b may be arranged along the outer periphery of the band spring side frame 153. The plurality of second holes 1153b may be arranged to be spaced apart from each other at predetermined intervals. The plurality of second holes 1153b may include a first portion 1153b1 and a second portion 1153b2. The first portions 1153b1 may be portions arranged along the outer periphery of the band spring side frame 153. The flat spring 1158 may be arranged in the first portion 1153b1. Therefore, the flat spring 1158 may be bent from the first portion 1153b1 toward the inner region of the second portion 1153b2 or stretched toward the outer region of the second portion 1153b2. The second portion 1153b2 may be a portion protruding from the first portion 1153b1 toward the first hole 153a.The pivot pin 152 may be inserted into the second portion 1153b2. Therefore, the plurality of pivot pins 152 may be configured to move in the plurality of second portions 1153b2 in the direction toward or away from the band spring drum 151.
[0110] With reference to Fig. 12A, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound approximately once around the ribbon spring drum 151 by rotating the ribbon spring drum 151. In this case, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be arranged to abut the outer peripheral surface of the wound ribbon spring 161. Specifically, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the ribbon spring 161 toward the ribbon spring drum 151 with the aid of the flat spring 1158.
[0111] Specifically, the plurality of pivot pins 152 may be positioned in the plurality of second sections 1153b2, and the plurality of flat springs 1158 may be arranged to be bent toward the inner portions of the plurality of second sections 1153b2. The plurality of flat springs 1158 are bent and exert pressure on the plurality of pivot pins 152 such that a force for pushing the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the inner portions of the second sections 1153b2 can be exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152. In this case, because the plurality of sub-rollers 657 are coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, a force for pushing the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be exerted on the plurality of sub-rollers 657 in the same direction as the force exerted on the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 in the direction toward the band spring drum 151.Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state in which it is tightly attached to the band spring drum 151.
[0112] With reference to Fig. 12B, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound approximately three times around the ribbon spring drum 151 by rotating the ribbon spring drum 151. A sum of a diameter of the ribbon spring drum 151 and a diameter of the ribbon spring 161 wound around the ribbon spring drum 151 can increase as the extent to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound increases. In this case, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can be arranged to abut the outer peripheral surface of the wound ribbon spring 161.
[0113] Specifically, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151 as the diameter of the band spring drum 151 and the diameter of the wound band spring 161 increase. However, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 in the direction toward the band spring drum 151 by means of the elasticity of the flat springs 1158, regardless of the distance between the plurality of sub-rollers 657 and the band spring drum 151.
[0114] In particular, as in Fig. 10B, when the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151, the plurality of pivot pins 152 coupled to the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 also move in the direction away from the band spring drum 151. That is, a distance between the plurality of pivot pins 152 and the band spring drum 151 may increase as the extent to which the band spring 161 is wound around the band spring drum 151 increases. At the same time, the plurality of pivot pins 152 may move outward from the inner regions of the plurality of second sections 1153b2. When the plurality of pivot pins 152 are arranged outside the plurality of second sections 1153b2, the plurality of bent flat springs 1158 may be stretched toward the outer regions of the plurality of second sections 1153b2.In other words, the plurality of bent flat springs 1158 can be stretched as the extent to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound around the ribbon spring drum 151 increases. Furthermore, when the plurality of flat springs 1158 are stretched, the plurality of flat springs 1158 can be arranged in the first portions 1153b1 to fill two opposite ends of the first portions 1153b1.
[0115] Meanwhile, even when the plurality of flat springs 1158 are stretched, the plurality of flat springs 1158 can exert the force on the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151. Specifically, because the plurality of flat springs 1158 are made of a material having elasticity, the plurality of flat springs 1158 can have an elastic force to initially bend toward the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the plurality of flat springs 1158 can exert the force on the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the inner portions of the plurality of second portions 1153b2. In this case, because the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 are coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, a force for pressing the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 can be applied to the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 in the same direction as the force applied to the plurality of pivot pins 152.Therefore, the plurality of sub-rollers 657 can press the band spring 161 toward the band spring drum 151. Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state where it is tightly attached to the band spring drum 151.
[0116] In the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, the ribbon spring 161 has the plurality of guide holes 161a, and the ribbon spring drum 151 has the plurality of guide protrusions 151a. When the ribbon spring drum 151 rotates, the ribbon spring 161 can physically move by a predetermined amount. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring 161.
[0117] In the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, the second rolling device R2 includes the plurality of pivot pins 152, the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, and the plurality of flat springs 1158 configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151. Furthermore, the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152 may also be configured to press the ribbon spring 161 toward the ribbon spring drum 151 with the aid of the plurality of flat springs 1158. Therefore, the ribbon spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state where it is tightly fitted to the ribbon spring drum 151.Therefore, it is possible to more effectively prevent the occurrence of a gap and slippage in the band spring 161.
[0118] The plurality of flat springs 1158 can be arranged to correspond to the plurality of pivot pins 152, respectively. Furthermore, all of the plurality of flat springs 1158 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 can be arranged in the plurality of second holes 1153b spaced apart from each other. Therefore, the plurality of flat springs 1158 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 can be easily connected to the band spring side frames 153. Therefore, the plurality of flat springs 1158 and the plurality of pivot pins 152 can operate more smoothly, and the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the band spring 161 can be more effectively prevented.
[0119] Fig. 13 is an exploded perspective view of a second scrolling device of a display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure. Fig. 14 is a cross-sectional view of the second scrolling device of the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure. The display device in Fig. 13 and Fig. 14 is essentially identical to the display device in Fig. 11 to 12B, except for a sensor hole 1354a and a photosensor PS. Therefore, repeated description will be omitted.
[0120] With reference to Fig. 13 and Fig. 14, the coupling part 154 has the sensor hole 1354a formed through the coupling part 154. In this case, the sensor hole 1354a may be located on one side of a route along which the ribbon spring 161 moves. Furthermore, the photosensor PS may be configured on two opposite sides with respect to the sensor hole 1354a. Specifically, the photosensor PS may include a light-emitting part PS1 located on one side with respect to the sensor hole 1354a and a light-receiving part PS2 located on the other side with respect to the sensor hole 1354a. Light emitted from the light-emitting part PS1 may pass through the sensor hole 1354a and be transmitted to the light-receiving part PS2. The light emitting part PS1 and the light receiving part PS2 can be fixed by means of at least one of the components of the rolling device part RP or the frame part FP.However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0121] In a case where the sensor hole 1354a and one of the plurality of guide holes 161a of the ribbon spring 161 are positioned on a straight line, the light emitted from the light-emitting part PS1 can pass through the sensor hole 1354a and the guide hole 161a and be transmitted to the light-emitting part PS2. In a case where the sensor hole 1354a and one of the plurality of guide holes 161a of the ribbon spring 161 are not positioned on a straight line, the light emitted from the light-emitting part PS1 is obscured by the ribbon spring 161 without being transmitted to the light-receiving part PS2.
[0122] Meanwhile, the display device may further include a winding device control device. The winding device control device may be connected to the photosensor PS and the motor MT. The winding device control device may determine the degree to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound or unwound based on a detection result of the photosensor PS. That is, the winding device control device may transmit a signal to the light emitting part PS1 to allow the light emitting part PS1 to emit light. Furthermore, in a case where the emitted light is transmitted to the light emitting part PS2, the light emitting part PS2 may transmit a detection signal to the winding device control device. Furthermore, the winding device control device may control the rotation of the motor MT based on the degree to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound or unwound. That is, the rotations of the first rolling device R1 and the second rolling device R2 can be controlled by the rolling device control device. The rolling device control device can be arranged on the circuit board 140. However, the present disclosure is not limited thereto.
[0123] The number of signals detected by the light receiving part PS2 may correspond to the number of guide holes 161a formed through the photosensor PS. Therefore, the degree to which the ribbon spring 161 is wound or unwound can be determined based on the number of guide holes 161a formed through the photosensor PS. Furthermore, the rolling device control device may store a length of the ribbon spring 161, distances between the plurality of guide holes 161a, a length of the indicator part DP, and the like. Therefore, the rolling device control device may determine a length of the wound or unwound ribbon spring 161 and a length of the wound or unwound indicator part DP based on a detection result of the light receiving part PS2.Therefore, in a case where a user intends to wind or unwind the display part DP by a certain amount, the winding device control device can control a rotational speed of the motor based on the detection result of the photo sensor PS. Therefore, the amount by which the display device is wound and unwound can be controlled more precisely.
[0124] Generally, the amount by which the display device winds and unwinds can be controlled by controlling the motor speed. However, even if the motor speed is controlled, the amount of movement of the ribbon spring may not be accurately controlled due to the elasticity of the ribbon spring, the friction between the ribbon spring and other components, and the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring. This may ultimately lead to a movement error of the display part, which may affect the quality of the display device.
[0125] In the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, the movement amount of the ribbon spring 161 can be precisely controlled by means of the photosensor PS and the roller control device. Specifically, the coupling part 154 of the second roller R2 includes the sensor hole 1354a configured to transmit and receive the light emitted from the photosensor PS. The light-emitting part PS1 and the light-receiving part PS2 of the photosensor PS can be arranged on one side and the other side of the sensor hole 1354a, respectively, in a case where the sensor hole 1354a and the guide hole 161a of the ribbon spring 161 are arranged on a straight line, the light emitted from the light-emitting part PS1 can be received by the light-receiving part PS2.The rolling device control device can measure the number of moved guide holes 161a and determine the length of the wound or unwound ribbon spring 161 based on the detection result of the light receiving part PS2. Therefore, it is possible to more accurately measure the movement amount of the ribbon spring 161 and more precisely control the movement amount of the indicator part.
[0126] In the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, the ribbon spring 161 has the plurality of guide holes 161a, and the ribbon spring drum 151 has the plurality of guide protrusions 151a. When the ribbon spring drum 151 rotates, the ribbon spring 161 can physically move by a predetermined amount. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of a gap or slippage in the ribbon spring 161.
[0127] In the display device according to yet another embodiment of the present disclosure, the second rolling device R2 includes the plurality of pivot pins 152, the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152, and the plurality of flat springs 1158 configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152. Therefore, the plurality of flat springs 1158 may be configured to press the plurality of pivot pins 152 toward the ribbon spring drum 151. Furthermore, the plurality of sub-rolling devices 657 coupled to the plurality of pivot pins 152 may also be configured to press the ribbon spring 161 toward the ribbon spring drum 151 with the aid of the plurality of flat springs 1158. Therefore, the band spring 161 can be wound or unwound in the state in which it is tightly attached to the band spring drum 151.Therefore, it is possible to more effectively prevent the occurrence of a gap and slippage in the band spring 161.
