[0001] The present invention relates to the field of seat armrests and in particular a multidirectionally adjustable armrest by which the position of the backrest can be adjusted according to the arm of the user.
[0002] Most existing seat armrests can only be adjusted to forward, backward, left, and right positions. However, the position of the arm (elbow) varies for many users depending on the type of work and sitting posture. Therefore, the functionality of an armrest that only allows adjustment to forward, backward, left, and right positions is too limited and cannot meet users' needs. Developing a more user-friendly armrest with more adjustment options is currently a key area of research.
