Description

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION

[0001] This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. CN202322610967.9, filed with the State Intellectual Property Office of China on September 25, 2023, the entire disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONField of the invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a terminal and an electrical connection arrangement comprising the terminal. Description of the state of the art

[0003] In the prior art, it is sometimes necessary to install multiple terminals on a circuit board at the same time, and multiple mating connectors are designed so that they can each be inserted into multiple terminals to make electrical contact with multiple terminals. In order to insert multiple mating connectors into multiple terminals at the same time, the installation position error of each terminal should be small or zero, otherwise multiple mating connectors cannot be inserted into multiple terminals at the same time. However, in practice, errors in the installation position of the terminals always occur, so it is difficult to achieve high accuracy. This leads to the difficulty that multiple mating connectors can be inserted into a large number of terminals at the same time, which causes great difficulty in connecting the product. In order to reduce the difficulty of plugging in, it is therefore necessary, according to the state of the art, to improve the installation accuracy of the connectors, which, however, leads to a sharp increase in costs. [12] Electrical connection arrangement according to claim 11, wherein a hole (302) is formed in the circuit board (3) and a connecting pin (10a) is formed on the lower side edge of both the first rigid side plate (10) and the second rigid side plate (10'), wherein the connecting pin (10a) is inserted into the hole (302) on the circuit board (3) to fix and electrically connect the first rigid side plate (10) and the second rigid side plate (10') to the circuit board (3). [13] Electrical connection arrangement according to claim 11, wherein a slot (301) corresponding to the opening (101) on the rigid top plate (11) is formed in the circuit board (3) to allow the mating connector (2) inserted between the pair of elastic clamping arms (13) to pass through the circuit board (3) through the slot (301). [14] The electrical connection assembly of claim 11, further comprising: a mating connector (2) inserted between the pair of elastic clamping arms (13) of the terminal (1) to establish an electrical connection with the terminal (1). [15] Electrical connection arrangement according to claim 11, wherein the electrical connection arrangement comprises a plurality of terminals (1) arranged in an array on the printed circuit board (3); wherein the electrical connection arrangement comprises a plurality of mating connectors (2) which are designed such that they can each be inserted simultaneously into the plurality of terminals (1).
