Description

[0001] The invention relates to a door module for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle, comprising a door module carrier with at least one guide rail to which a cable pulley of a window lifter (cable window lifter) is fastened by means of a screw bolt penetrating the door module carrier and screwable into a screw nut. It further relates to a door assembly of a vehicle door of a motor vehicle, comprising a frame-like door inner part and a door module fastened or attachable thereto.

[0002] A vehicle door of a motor vehicle (motor vehicle door) typically comprises a generally frame-like inner door part, also referred to as the door shell, and an outer door panel forming the outer door skin, as well as, if appropriate, an inner door panel or inner door trim. The inner door part, or the door shell, connected to the outer door panel, typically comprises two spaced-apart, opposite side frame sections, a sill section connecting them, and, if appropriate, a lower frame section.

[0003] The parapet section oriented in the vehicle's longitudinal direction (X-direction in the vehicle coordinate system), together with the side frame sections oriented in the direction of the vehicle height (Z-direction in the vehicle coordinate system), and a frame section extending in the X-direction connecting these at the bottom of the door, defines a frame cutout of the door interior (door shell). When the vehicle door is assembled, this frame or module cutout is at least partially, preferably completely, covered by a plate-like or plate-shaped door module carrier of a door module. This is connected to the frame-like door interior (door shell), for example, also in the area of the parapet section, typically by means of a number of screw fasteners.

[0004] The door module carrier can also be screwed into the parapet area of the vehicle door, for example, using screws, threaded or screw bolts, and nuts that are inserted into the parapet section of the frame-like inner door part (door shell) of the door assembly. Various functional components of the vehicle door, in particular a window lifter or at least its respective guide rail, can be pre-assembled on the door module carrier. The pre-assembled door module carrier, also referred to as a door module, serves in particular to separate a wet space formed between the outer door panel and the door module from a dry space formed between the door module (door module carrier) and the inner door panel or the inner door panel of the vehicle door, in particular for moisture-sensitive functional components of the door module.

[0005] In a door module with guide rails (window lifter guide rails) mounted on its support plate (door module support), which extend upwards above the door module support in the Z direction with a rail overhang, the guide rails are usually screwed only to the door module or only in or on the frame-like door inner part (door shell). Screwing to the frame-like door inner part or the door shell typically occurs in the area of the upper parapet section by first threading the door module with the respective rail overhang of the guide rails (in the Y direction) behind the parapet section and thus on the wet room side.

[0006] During further assembly of the door module to the door shell, the guide rail, with a screw or bolt pre-mounted on the rail overhang, is guided to a corresponding screw opening (mounting hole) provided in an outer reinforcement area of the parapet section. An additional screw nut is then mounted and screwed into a mounting hole provided in an inner reinforcement area of the parapet section. Adjustment or positioning of the guide rail can also be performed in this area.

[0007] To ensure the required separation of wet and dry areas in the vehicle door, the mounting hole in the inner sill reinforcement must be sealed with a cover, adhesive tape, or similar material. Due to the necessity of the mounting hole and the required embossing in the sill section for the rail overhang (rail head) of the respective guide rail, the profile of the sill section of the inner door part (door shell) is interrupted or weakened, which is undesirable due to the required stability criteria of the inner door part, especially in the sill area.

[0008] In a door module with guide rails mounted on its support plate (door module support) without any rail overhang in the Z direction, these rails, or their screws or bolts, cannot be precisely threaded and installed (in the Y direction) behind the parapet section of the door interior (door shell). This makes it difficult to install the door module with attached guide rails without any rail overhang on the door interior.

[0009] The invention is based on the object of providing a suitably mountable door module with an adjustable (in the Y direction) guide rail for a window lifter, in particular a cable window lifter. Furthermore, a suitable door assembly for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle is to be provided. In particular, the aim is to facilitate the simplified installation of the door module or the door module carrier on the frame-like interior door part.

[0010] With regard to the door module, the stated object is achieved according to the invention with the features of claim 1 and with regard to the door assembly with the features of claim 8.

[0011] The door module for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle comprises a door module carrier with at least one guide rail of a window lifter arranged on a carrier front side (hereinafter also referred to as the wet room side), and a cable pulley that is or can be fastened to the guide rail by means of a screw bolt, in particular by means of a screw bolt having or encompassing a stepped bolt. The plate-shaped door module carrier of such a vehicle door (motor vehicle door) can be a plastic part or partially formed by an organic sheet. Such an organic sheet is typically a continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, for example, polyamide, wherein continuous fibers, for example made of glass or plastic fibers, are embedded in a plastic matrix.

[0012] The screw bolt penetrates the door module support via a through-hole or support opening and is screwed into a screw nut located on the rear side of the support, also referred to below as the dry room side. In a pre-assembled state, a bolt section of the screw bolt provides a joining distance between the guide rail and the door module support, which can be adjusted using the screw nut. In other words, the bolt section of the screw bolt defines a (joining) distance between the guide rail and the door module support, preferably for the (Y-)prepositioning of at least one guide rail placed on the door module support, in particular for mounting the door module on a door interior part or door shell of a door assembly.

[0013] A stepped bolt is advantageously provided, which secures the cable or pulley to the guide rail and has an internal thread. A threaded portion of the screw bolt can be adjusted in the Y direction by means of the screw bolt to adjust the guide rail relative to a vehicle coordinate system. The threaded bolt preferably has a support collar adjacent to the guide rail. The bolt portion is connected to this collar, and optionally also in the longitudinal direction of the bolt on the opposite collar side, the threaded portion of the screw bolt meshing or screwing with the internal thread of the stepped bolt.

[0014] The joint distance between the guide rail and the door module carrier can be adjusted by actuating (twisting) the screw nut.

[0015] Particularly advantageous is the fact that the joint distance between the guide rail and the door module support can be reduced by actuating the screw nut to create a joint connection (screw connection) with a frame part or parapet section of a door shell.

[0016] The guide rail is conveniently adjustable in the Y direction using the screw bolt (relative to the vehicle coordinate system). The screw nut is suitably attached to the door module support on the rear side of the support (dry room side). Additionally or alternatively, a spring element is provided between the guide rail and the door module support. The spring element can be molded onto the guide rail, for example, as a spring tab cut out of it. Alternatively, the spring element can be molded (injected) onto the door module support or attached to it.

[0017] The spring element pre-positions the guide rail in the Y direction during pre-assembly. In other words, the spring element prevents the guide rail from accidentally contacting the door module support during pre-assembly. Furthermore, the spring element enables the desired (mechanical) pre-tensioning of the guide rail, which is pre-mounted on the door module support in the area of the cable pulley using the screw bolt. Using such a spring element, there is no need to attach or retain the screw nut on the rear side (dry room side) of the door module support.

[0018] The door assembly of a vehicle door of a motor vehicle comprises a frame-like inner door part with a parapet section (as a frame part). Suitably, the inner door part, in particular as a door shell, comprises a frame cutout delimited by lateral frame sections and the parapet section connecting them. The parapet section has a joining groove open in the assembly direction for inserting the bolt section of the screw bolt. The bolt section of the screw bolt pre-assembled with the guide rail on the door module carrier is inserted or can be inserted into this groove by actuating the screw nut, in particular also for the assembly state of the door module on the inner door part.

[0019] In an advantageous embodiment, the parapet section has at least one fastening tab extending into the frame cutout of the door inner part, with a joining groove incorporated therein. Suitably, the joining groove, preferably V- or U-shaped and in particular open on one side, has a slotted opening through which the bolt portion of the screw bolt is inserted or can be inserted into the joining groove.

[0020] The advantages achieved by the invention consist in particular in the fact that by means of a screw nut positioned in the XY direction on the door module, the screw bolt - and thus the rail head of the guide rail pre-assembled with the threaded bolt on the door module support - is held at a defined Y distance from the door module. On the door shell (inner door part), the fastening point for the screw bolt is open in the assembly direction, with the corresponding joining groove forming an insertion slot open downwards in the Z direction for the bolt section of the screw bolt. A connection of the screw bolt to a stepped bolt with an internal thread, which mounts the cable or deflection pulley on the guide rail and is fixed to it, e.g. by forming, enables a particularly advantageous adjustment of the guide rail on the screw bolt in the Y direction.

[0021] Such pre-assembly and final assembly of the door module can be provided on the door inner part (door shell), also on the rail base of the guide rail and in the area of a lower frame section of the frame-like door inner part.

[0022] Pre-positioning (Y-prepositioning or pre-positioning in the Y direction) using the screw bolt, forming the bolt section between the guide rail and the door module support, ensures that the guide rails can be threaded in the Z direction on the wet room side during assembly, and the bolt section of the screw bolt can be inserted into the joining groove on the door shell side. The (pre-)positioned screw nut allows a window lifter with the guide rail to be screwed directly onto the door module, eliminating the need for an additional cover to separate the wet and dry rooms.

[0023] In the following, exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. In the drawings: Fig. 1 schematically shows a door assembly with a frame-shaped door inner part (door shell) and with a door module attached to it with (pre-) mounted window lifter, Fig. 2 in a plan view of a support back (dry room side) of a plate-like door module support, a rail head-side mounting point with (pre-)positioned screw nut, Fig. 3 section of the mounting point with positioned nut and screwed-in bolt, Fig. 4 in a dry room side plan view of the frame-shaped door inner part (door shell) with a fastening point arranged on an (upper) parapet section with a joining groove for receiving the screw bolt, Fig. 5 the fastening point with the joint groove in an enlarged view, Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 a partial perspective side view of the pre-assembled door module in a mounting position of the screw bolt - in the mounting direction - in front of or in the door shell side joining groove, Fig. 8 partially in a representation according to Fig. 7 the pre-assembled door module in an insertion position of a bolt section of the screw bolt in the door shell side joining groove, Fig. 9 in a representation according to Fig. 8 the door module in an assembly state screwed by means of the screw nut, Fig. 10a to 10c in a representation according to Fig. 9 the pre-assembled door module with spring-loaded guide rail of two variants in a plug-in position or in the screwed final assembly state.

[0024] Corresponding parts and sizes are provided with the same reference numerals in all figures.

[0025] The following information is provided regarding the spatial directions in a motor vehicle coordinate system (vehicle coordinate system) with respect to the typical position or orientation of a vehicle door (side door) relative to its body. The abscissa axis (X-axis) is oriented along the vehicle's longitudinal direction, the ordinate axis (Y-axis) along the vehicle's transverse direction, and the applicate axis (Z-axis) along the vehicle's height.

[0026] Fig. 1 schematically shows a door assembly 1 with a frame-shaped inner door part (door shell) 2 and with a door module 3 attached thereto. The door assembly 1 is intended for a vehicle door of a motor vehicle, in particular a frameless one. The door module 2 has a plate-shaped door module carrier 4. Functional elements of a window lifter, which in the exemplary embodiment is two-stranded and here has two parallel guide rails 5, are mounted on the door module carrier 4. These are mounted on the door module carrier 4 on a wet room side 4a of the door module 3 or the door assembly 1, referred to below as the carrier front side, together with (upper and lower) cable pulleys provided at the rail end as deflection elements 6, 7. A driver 8 is guided on the respective guide rail 5 so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the rail.

[0027] A window pane (not shown) is attached or can be attached to the respective driver 8, which window pane is adjustable between an open position and a closed position. For this purpose, a preferably electric actuator 9 is provided, the electric motor 10 of which drives a cable drum 11, in particular via a gear. A pull cable 12 is wound onto this drum with several turns, which is guided over the deflection elements 6, 7 and connected to the drivers 8. Depending on the drive direction of the actuator 9, one of the pull cable sections of the pull cable 12 is wound up and the other pull cable section is unwound, whereby the window pane held by the drivers 8 is adjusted between the open position and the closed position. The actuator 9 is mounted on the drying room side 4b (hereinafter referred to as the rear side of the support). Fig. 2) of the door module 3 is mounted on this or on the door module carrier 4.

[0028] As in connection with the Fig. 4 and Fig. As can be seen comparatively clearly in Figure 5, the frame-shaped door inner part 2, also referred to below as the door shell, has an upper frame part (frame section), referred to below as the parapet section 2a. The parapet section 2a as the upper frame part and lateral frame sections 2b, as well as a (lower) frame section 2c connecting them, delimit a frame cutout 13, which, when the door assembly 1 is assembled, is covered by the door module 3 mounted on the door shell 2.

[0029] The parapet section 2a has a joining groove 14. The joining groove 14 defines a fastening point on the door shell 2 for pre-positioning, in particular in the Y direction (Y pre-positioning), of the respective guide rail 5 for mounting the door module 3 on the door shell 2. The joining groove 14, which is preferably provided in a fastening tab 15 projecting into the frame cutout 13 of the door inner part 2, is V- or U-shaped and has a slot opening or an insertion slot 14a. In other words, the joining groove 14 is open on one side and is accessible from the frame cutout 13—in the mounting direction M.

[0030] The Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 shows the plate-shaped door module support 4 viewed from its dry room or support rear side 4b. A screw nut 16 is arranged at a position corresponding to the fastening point of the door shell 2. This screw nut is held on or at the door module support 4, preferably positioned in the X and Y directions by means of support elements 17 (XY pre-positioning).

[0031] The Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 show the door module 3 pre-assembled with one of the guide rails 5 and one of the upper pulleys 6. As in connection with the Fig. 8 and Fig. 9, the screw nut 16 is already screwed onto a screw bolt 18. In the pre-assembled state, the screw bolt 18 screwed into the screw nut 16 penetrates the respective, in the embodiment the upper cable pulley 6 and the guide rail 5 in the area of its rail head as well as a support or through-hole 19 ( Fig. 7) of the door module carrier 4 at the fastening point.

[0032] The screw bolt 18 has a bolt section 20, which, in the pre-assembled state, provides a defined or predetermined joining distance a between the guide rail 5 and the door module support 4. The joining distance a can be adjusted using the screw nut 16, which is accessible from the dry room side 4b. For this purpose, the screw nut 16 or the screw bolt 18 can be actuated (turned) using an appropriate tool.

[0033] The screw bolt 18 cooperates with or encompasses a stepped bolt 18a having an internal thread and supporting the cable pulley 6 on the guide rail 5. The stepped bolt 18a passes through a corresponding opening in the guide rail 5 and is fixed thereto, in particular by deformation in the area of the opening. The screw bolt 18 has a shaft or threaded portion 21, which is screwed to the stepped bolt 18a or passes through the guide rail 5 and the cable or deflection pulley 6.

[0034] The screw bolt 18 has a support collar 22, which rests on the rear side of the guide rail 6 facing the door module support 4. Adjoining the support collar 22 is a threaded section encompassing the wet-room-side bolt section 20, which at its end passes through the support-side through-opening 19 and carries the screw nut 16 on the dry-room side. A tool holder 18b in or on the end face of the dry-room-side bolt end of the screw bolt 18, which carries the screw nut 16, enables adjustment of the guide rail 5 in the Y direction by rotating the bolt.

[0035] The Fig. 6 to 9 illustrate the pre-positioning or assembly of the door module 3 with attached guide rail 5 on the door shell 2 in different execution steps. The joining distance a formed between the guide rail 5 and the door module support 4 enables the pre-assembled door module 3 to be pre-assembled by inserting the bolt section 20 of the screw bolt 18 into the joining groove 14 provided on the door shell 2 in the assembly direction M and then fixed by screwing using the screw nut 16. In other words, the bolt section 20 of the screw bolt 18 pre-assembled with the guide rail 5 on the door module support 4 ( Fig. 9) for pre-positioning or mounting the door module 3 on the door inner part or door shell 2 by actuating the screw nut 16 ( Fig. 6 and Fig. 7).

[0036] Subsequently, the screw nut 16 or the screw bolt 18 is actuated by turning it using a tool and thus the guide rail 5 is pressed against the door module carrier 4 while reducing the joining distance a, in particular to a = 0 ( Fig. 8). In the desired position, the door module 3 can be finally mounted on the door shell 2, for example using screws or bayonet-type pivot bolts.

[0037] The Fig. 10a to 10c show a design with a spring element 23 provided between the guide rail 5 and the door module support 4. In the design according to 10a, this spring element is designed as a spring tab notched from the guide rail 5. In the design according to 10b, the spring element 23 is molded (injected) onto the door module support 4 as a spring tab or spring tongue.

[0038] The spring element 23 pre-positions the guide rail 5 in the pre-assembled state – in the Y direction. The spring element 23 prevents the guide rail 5 from accidentally contacting the door module carrier 4 or from an unintentional reduction of the joint distance a in the pre-assembled state. The spring element 23 also enables (mechanical) pre-tensioning of the guide rail 5, which is pre-assembled on the door module carrier 4 in the area of the deflection or cable pulley 6 by means of the screw bolt 18.

[0039] By means of the screw nut 16 positioned in the XY direction on the door module 3 and the defined bolt section 20 of the screw bolt 18, the guide rail 5 is held at a defined distance a from the door module 3 in the Y direction. The fastening point provided on the door inner part 2 with the joining groove 14 for the screw bolt 18, which is open in the assembly direction M, enables simple and error-free threading or insertion of the bolt section 20 and thus simple pre-positioning of the door module 3 on the door shell 2 for the production or assembly of the door assembly 1.

[0040] In summary, the invention relates to a door module 3 with a door module support 4 and with a cable pulley 6 fastened to a window lifter guide rail 5 by means of a screw bolt 18, wherein the screw bolt 18 is screwed into a screw nut 16 arranged on the support rear side 4b, and wherein in a pre-assembled state a bolt section 20 of the screw bolt 18 provides a joining distance a between the guide rail 5 and the door module support 4, which joining distance a can be adjusted by means of the screw nut 16.

[0041] A door assembly 1 of a vehicle door of a motor vehicle has a frame-like inner door part (door shell) 2 and the door module 3, wherein a parapet section 20 of the inner door part 2 has a joining groove 14 which is open in the assembly direction and in which the bolt section 20 of the screw bolt 18 connected to the door module carrier 4 or door module 3 in the pre-assembled state is seated for pre-positioning and / or assembly (screw fastening) of the door module 3 on the inner door part 2.

[0042] The invention is not limited to the exemplary embodiments described above. Rather, other variants of the invention can also be derived therefrom by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, all individual features described in connection with the exemplary embodiment can also be combined with one another in other ways without departing from the scope of the invention.
