Seating arrangement of a motor vehicle

Abstract

The invention relates to a seating arrangement of a motor vehicle with several vehicle seats (2, 3, 4) arranged side by side and equipped with a seat section (6). In order to be able to simultaneously fix a child seat side by side on several vehicle seats (2, 3, 4), the seat sections (6) of at least some of the vehicle seats (2, 3, 4) of the seating arrangement are movable relative to each other into a non-use position in which the seat sections (6) of adjacent vehicle seats (2, 3, 4) enclose an enlarged gap (9). This gap (9) allows quick and easy access to the otherwise obstructed seat belt buckle, so that the respective belt tongue can be easily inserted into the seat belt buckle (8) even by a person standing outside the vehicle.
