Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a production chassis arrangement for a motor vehicle, which has at least a frame arrangement with a wheel chassis, which has at least wheel suspensions and wheel arrangements connected thereto, as well as a steering arrangement and a brake arrangement.
[0002] Such production chassis arrangements for motor vehicles are known from the prior art. These production chassis arrangements are also known as "rolling chassis" in motor vehicle production and are considered particularly flexible conveying systems that ensure a continuous production flow with reduced waiting times. Examples of such production chassis arrangements can be found in German patent applications DE 10 2006 054 010 A1 and DE 10 2004 020 221 A1. However, due to the fixed design of the respective chassis arrangement, adjustments to the working height and thus ergonomic working conditions are not possible.
[0003] The object of the present invention is therefore to avoid the aforementioned disadvantage in a simple and cost-effective manner.
[0004] This problem is solved according to the invention by designing the respective wheel arrangement in the production process as a production wheel arrangement with a working height adjustment device. In this way, it is possible to use a standard chassis as a conveying device in a simple manner and still enable ergonomic working and assembly.
[0005] In an advantageous embodiment, a drive assembly is provided for the wheeled chassis. This allows the production chassis assembly to be easily self-propelled. Since each production wheel assembly has an internal interface for electrical contact with the drive assembly, simple connection during the production process is possible. Advantageously, the drive assembly can be designed as an electric drive system with a battery system.
[0006] To ensure easy access to the wheel arch during the production process, production wheels of the respective production wheel arrangements have a significantly smaller diameter, < 70%, than customer wheels of customer wheel arrangements.
[0007] In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the production wheel assemblies and customer wheel assemblies have standardized fastening means for attachment to the respective wheel suspensions. This makes it possible to easily exchange the production wheel assemblies for customer wheel assemblies and vice versa.
[0008] The fact that the working height adjustment device has electrically adjustable telescopic arms provides a particularly compact working height adjustment device.
[0009] To ensure easy operation of the working height adjustment device, the production wheel assembly can have an external interface for electrical contact with the working height adjustment device.
[0010] The invention is explained in more detail with reference to a drawing. This drawing shows: Fig. 1. A perspective view of a production chassis arrangement, and Fig. 2 A schematically simplified side view of a production wheel arrangement.
[0011] Fig. Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a production chassis assembly 2, which is known per se. In the present embodiment, the production chassis assembly 2 has a frame assembly 4 with a wheel chassis 6. The wheel chassis 6 has, schematically depicted, wheel suspensions 8 and wheel assemblies 10 connected thereto. A steering assembly and a brake assembly (not shown) are also provided. In the present embodiment, a schematically depicted electric drive assembly 12 with a battery system 14 and a drive system 16 is also provided, whereby the production chassis assembly 2 is configured as a self-propelled conveying device. In the illustrated embodiment, the wheel assemblies 10 are designed as conventional customer wheel assemblies 18.Such customer wheel arrangements 18 with a customer wheel 19 consisting of a rim 20 and tires 22 arranged on it allow the assembly of a motor vehicle to be completed only at a working height specified by the customer wheel arrangement 18.
[0012] To ensure easy adjustment of the working height of the production chassis assembly 2 and thus ergonomic working conditions for the fitter, the invention provides that, in the production process, the wheel assembly 10 is designed as a production wheel assembly 24 with a working height adjustment device 26 instead of a customer wheel assembly 18. Such a production wheel assembly 24 is shown in a side view in Fig. Figure 2 shows that the production wheel assembly 24 also features a production wheel 28 in a known manner, consisting of a production rim 30 and a production tire 32. The production wheel 28 has a significantly smaller diameter than the customer wheel 19 in Figure 2. Fig.1. This provides significantly improved accessibility during the assembly of a body (not shown). Furthermore, the production tire 32 is designed as a wear-resistant solid rubber tire. Each production wheel assembly 24 has a standardized connecting element 34, which corresponds to a connecting element (not shown) of the customer's wheel assembly 18 and can be connected to the wheel suspension 8 in a known manner. The working height adjustment device 26 has adjustable telescopic arms 36, 38. Reference numeral 40 indicates an inner interface for electrical contact with the drive assembly 12 with a dashed line. Reference numeral 42 designates an outer interface for electrical contact with the working height adjustment device 26, which allows the assembler to easily adjust the working height of the production chassis assembly 2.
