Technical area
[0001] The present invention relates to a vehicle-mounted motor driving control board on which a circuit is formed for driving two power converter circuits each connected to two three-phase motors mounted on a vehicle, and a voltage step-up / step-down circuit for supplying electric power to the power converter circuits. Technical background
[0002] As shown in Patent Document 1, two three-phase motors, two power converter circuits respectively connected to the three-phase motors, and a voltage booster / decreaser circuit for supplying electric power to the power converter circuits are mounted in a conventional hybrid automobile. The voltage booster / decreaser circuit is formed by a chopper circuit and performs voltage boosting and voltage stepping-down on an input voltage supplied from a high-voltage battery, thereby generating a P-phase potential and an N-phase potential required for the power converter circuits. For example, one of the two three-phase motors is a wheel-driving motor, and the other is a regenerative power motor.
[0003] A control board, on which a circuit for driving the two power converter circuits and the voltage booster / decreaser circuit are formed, is further mounted in the conventional hybrid automobile. The control board is hereinafter referred to as the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board. This vehicle-mounted motor driver control board consists of a single circuit board and is connected to a semiconductor module containing two power converter circuits and a voltage booster / decreaser circuit.
[0004] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board includes two power converter circuit driver circuits, each of which is a circuit for driving the two power converter circuits, and a voltage boost / decrease driver circuit, which is a circuit for driving the voltage boost / decrease circuit.
[0005] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board further includes a power supply circuit for supplying a constant DC voltage to the two converter circuit driver circuits and the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit. This power supply circuit converts an input voltage supplied from a battery into a control voltage (output voltage) required by the two converter circuit driver circuits and the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit.
[0006] Patent Document 2 describes a power conversion circuit including parallel-connected pairs of a high-side switching element and a low-side switching element connected in series, high-side driver circuits for driving the high-side switching elements, low-side driver circuits for driving the low-side switching elements, and transformers for supplying voltages for driving the high-side switching elements and low-side switching elements to the high-side and low-side driver circuits. The high-side switching elements are mounted in a row along a first direction on a wiring board, and the low-side switching elements are mounted in a row along the first direction on the wiring board adjacent to the row of high-side switching elements. The transformers are mounted on the wiring board on the side of the row of high-side switching elements opposite the row of low-side switching elements. [0007] Generally, a conventional vehicle-mounted motor driver control board contains three power supply circuits, each corresponding to two converter circuit driver circuits and one voltage boost / decrease driver circuit. If one of the power supply circuits fails, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board containing the three power supply circuits can continue part of the operation of the two converter circuits, thus ensuring power supply redundancy.
[0008] However, there have recently been calls for further reductions in the size and cost of vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards. Furthermore, ensuring power supply redundancy is important for vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards. It is an object of the present invention to achieve reductions in the size and cost of a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board in a structure that enables the redundancy of a power supply to be ensured.
[0009] The object is achieved by a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board according to claim 1. Further developments of the invention are specified in the subclaims. Effects of the invention
[0010] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board according to the present invention achieves size and cost reductions in proportion to the omission of one power supply circuit compared to a conventional board including three power supply circuits. Furthermore, in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board, the two power supply circuits share the supply of electric power (DC voltages) to the plurality of circuit components constituting the voltage booster / decreaser driver circuit and the two power converter driver circuits. Thus, when a failure of one of the two power supply circuits occurs, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board is capable of implementing the function of continuing the operation of part of the two power converter circuits (power supply redundancy). Description of embodiments
[0011] A description will now be given of embodiments of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments to be described below are examples that implement the present invention and do not limit the technical scope of the present invention.
[0012] A vehicle-mounted motor driver control board according to each embodiment to be described below is mounted in an electric vehicle such as a hybrid automobile. First embodiment
[0013] Schematic structure of the vehicle-mounted motor driver device.
[0014] With reference to Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the schematic structure of a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 and a vehicle-mounted motor driver device including the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described. Two three-phase motors 9a and 9b, two power converter circuits 8a and 8b connected to the two three-phase motors 9a and 9b, respectively, and a voltage step-up / step-down circuit 7 for supplying electric power to the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b are also mounted in a vehicle in which the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is mounted.
[0015] In the present embodiment, a first three-phase motor 9a, which is one of the two three-phase motors 9a and 9b, is a motor for driving wheels. A second three-phase motor 9b, which is the other of the two three-phase motors 9a and 9b, is a regenerative electric power motor that regenerates electric power using rotational drive force transmitted from the wheels. Thus, the second three-phase motor 9b according to the present embodiment is also a three-phase AC generator.
[0016] The two converter circuits 8a and 8b include a first converter circuit 8a connected to the first three-phase motor 9a and a second converter circuit 8b connected to the second three-phase motor 9b.
[0017] Fig. Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7, the first power converter circuit 8a, and the second power converter circuit 8b, which are circuits to be driven by the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10. In Fig. 2, reference symbol CP denotes a chopper circuit, P and N denote a P-phase and an N-phase of an output of the voltage step-up / step-down circuit 7, respectively, M denotes a motor, G denotes electric power regeneration (electricity generation), and U, V and W denote a U-phase, a V-phase and a W-phase of a three-phase alternating current, respectively.
[0018] The voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 is formed by chopper circuits and performs voltage boosting and voltage down-conversion of an input voltage supplied from a high-voltage battery 70, thereby generating a P-phase potential and an N-phase potential required for the first power converter circuit 8a and the second power converter circuit 8b. For this purpose, the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 includes an N-phase power switching element 71 that decreases the input voltage to generate the N-phase potential, and a P-phase power switching element 72 that increases the input voltage to generate the P-phase potential. An output voltage of the high-voltage battery 70 is, for example, not less than 100 V.
[0019] The N-phase power switching element 71 and the P-phase power switching element 72 both include an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) and a FWD (Free Wheeling Diode) connected in reverse parallel to the IGBT. The N-phase power switching element 71 and the P-phase power switching element 72 are connected in series to form a half-bridge. The FWD is a diode for commutating a load current.
[0020] A connection point of the N-phase power switching element 71 and the P-phase power switching element 72 is connected to a positive electrode end of the high-voltage battery 70 via a reactor 63. A first capacitor 61 for storing high-voltage electricity therein is connected in parallel to the high-voltage battery 70 with respect to a voltage supply line from the high-voltage battery 70 to the voltage step-up / step-down circuit 7.
[0021] A low-potential terminal of the N-phase power switching element 71 is a P-phase output end of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7, and is connected to a low-potential DC power supply line of the first power converter circuit 8a and the second power converter circuit 8b. On the other hand, a high-potential terminal of the P-phase power switching element 72 is a P-phase output end of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7, and is connected to a high-potential DC power supply line of the first power converter circuit 8a and the second power converter circuit 8b.
[0022] The voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 outputs a boosted DC voltage intermittently at a predetermined frequency according to a drive signal from a voltage boosting / decreasing drive circuit 2. Note that the structure and operation of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7, which is formed by chopper circuits, are well known.
[0023] The first power converter circuit 8a includes power switching elements 811 to 813 for the respective three phases on the N-phase side (lower arm side) and power switching elements 814 to 816 for the respective three phases on the P-phase side (upper arm side). The U-phase power switching element 811 on the N-phase side and the U-phase power switching element 814 on the P-phase side form a circuit identical to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7. The V-phase power switching element 812 on the N-phase side and the V-phase power switching element 815 on the P-phase side also form a circuit identical to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7. Further, the W-phase power switching element 813 on the N-phase side and the W-phase power switching element 816 on the P-phase side also form a circuit identical to the voltage step-up / step-down circuit 7.
[0024] The first converter circuit 8a outputs three-phase AC voltages (U-phase voltage, V-phase voltage and W-phase voltage) that are 120° out of phase with each other in accordance with a drive signal from a first converter drive circuit 1a.
[0025] On the other hand, the second power converter circuit 8b forms a circuit identical to the first power converter circuit 8a. Specifically, the second power converter circuit 8b includes a U-phase power switching element 821 on the N-phase side, a U-phase power switching element 824 on the P-phase side, a V-phase power switching element 822 on the N-phase side, a V-phase power switching element 825 on the P-phase side, a W-phase power switching element 823 on the N-phase side, and a W-phase power switching element 826 on the P-phase side.
[0026] However, the second converter circuit 8b converts three-phase AC voltages supplied from the second three-phase motor into a DC voltage according to a drive signal from a second converter drive circuit 1b, and stores the DC voltage in a second capacitor 62. The second capacitor 62 is connected in parallel with the second converter circuit 8b with respect to a power supply line from the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7. Note that the structure and operation of the first converter circuit 8a and the second converter circuit 8b, which are three-phase converter circuits, are well known. Structure of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board
[0027] Next, the structure of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 will be described with reference to Fig. 1, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 described.
[0028] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is formed of a single circuit board and is a board on which circuits for driving the first power converter circuit 8a, the second power converter circuit 8b, and the voltage step-up / step-down circuit 7 are formed.
[0029] As in Fig. 1, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 includes the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 2, the first power converter driver circuit 1a, the second power converter driver circuit 1b, a first power supply circuit 3a, and a second power supply circuit 3b. Voltage boost / decrease driver circuit
[0030] The voltage increase / decrease driver circuit 2 is a circuit for driving the voltage increase / decrease circuit 7. As shown in Fig. 4, the voltage boost / down drive circuit 2 includes an N-phase voltage boost / down drive circuit 201 for outputting a drive signal to the N-phase power switching element 71 of the voltage boost / down circuit 7 and a P-phase voltage boost / down drive circuit 202 for outputting a drive signal to the P-phase power switching element 72 of the voltage boost / down circuit 7.
[0031] The N-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 201 outputs a gate voltage (drive signal) between the gate and emitter of the IGBT of the N-phase power switching device 71. Similarly, the P-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 202 outputs a gate voltage (drive signal) between the gate and emitter of the IGBT of the P-phase power switching device 72. The N-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 201 and the P-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 202 are examples of circuit components 200 of the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 2. Power converter driver circuits
[0032] The first power converter driver circuit 1a is a circuit for driving the first power converter circuit 8a. As shown in Fig. 4, the first power converter driving circuit 1a includes a first N-phase power converter driving circuit 111 and a first P-phase power converter driving circuit 112. The first N-phase power converter driving circuit 111 is a circuit for outputting a driving signal to the power switching elements 811 to 813 for the respective three phases on the N-phase side (lower arm side) in the first power converter circuit 8a. The first P-phase power converter driving circuit 112, on the other hand, is a circuit for outputting a driving signal to the power switching elements 814 to 816 for the respective three phases on the P-phase side (upper arm side) in the first power converter circuit 8a. The first N-phase power converter driving circuit 111 and the first P-phase power converter driving circuit 112 are examples of circuit components 110 of the first power converter driving circuit 1a.
[0033] The second power converter driver circuit 1b, on the other hand, is a circuit for driving the second power converter circuit 8b. As shown in Fig. 4, the second converter driving circuit 1b includes, similarly to the first converter driving circuit 1a, a second N-phase converter driving circuit 121 and a second P-phase converter driving circuit 122. The second N-phase converter driving circuit 121 is a circuit for outputting a driving signal to the power switching elements 821 to 823 for the respective three phases on the N-phase side in the second converter circuit 8b. On the other hand, the second P-phase converter driving circuit 122 is a circuit for outputting a driving signal to the power switching elements 824 to 826 for the respective three phases on the P-phase side in the second converter circuit 8b. The driving signals are gate voltage signals of the IGBTs arranged in the two converter circuits 8a and 8b.The second N-phase converter driver circuit 121 and the second P-phase converter driver circuit 122 are examples of circuit components 120 of the second converter driver circuit 1b. Power supply circuits
[0034] The first power supply circuit 3a is a circuit for supplying DC power to some of the plurality of circuit components 200, 110, and 120 that constitute the voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 2, the first power converter driver circuit 1a, and the second power converter driver circuit 1b. Similarly, the second power supply circuit 3b is a circuit for supplying electric power to the rest of the plurality of circuit components 200, 110, and 120 that constitute the voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 2, the first power converter driver circuit 1a, and the second power converter driver circuit 1b.
[0035] That is, the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b share the supply of DC control voltages to the plurality of circuit components 200, 110, and 120 constituting the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 2 and the two power converter driver circuits 1a and 1b.
[0036] Fig. Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of a DC / DC converter, which is an example of the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b. The DC / DC converter includes a power transformer 31, an inverter circuit 32, rectifier circuits 33, and an output voltage stabilizing circuit 34.
[0037] The power transformer 31 includes a primary coil 310 and a plurality of secondary coils 311 to 316. In the following description, the four outer edge portions of the power transformer 31 are as follows. An outer edge portion of the power transformer 31 where the primary coil 310 is disposed is referred to as a first outer edge portion F1; an outer edge portion thereof adjacent to the first outer edge portion F1 is referred to as a second outer edge portion F2; an outer edge portion thereof on the opposite side to the first outer edge portion F1 is referred to as a third outer edge portion F3; and an outer edge portion thereof on the opposite side to the second outer edge portion F2 is referred to as a fourth outer edge portion F4.
[0038] More specifically, the power transformer 31 includes the primary coil 310 and the secondary coils 316 and 315 arranged along the first outer edge portion F1, and the secondary coils 311 to 314 arranged along the third outer edge portion F3.
[0039] In the Fig. 3, the power transformer 31 includes the primary coil 310, a sixth secondary coil 316, and a fifth secondary coil 315, which are arranged in order from the second outer edge portion F2 along the first outer edge portion F1. Fig. The power transformer 31 shown in Figure 3 further includes a first secondary coil 311, a second secondary coil 312, a third secondary coil 313, and a fourth secondary coil 314, which are arranged in order from the second outer edge portion F2 side along the third outer edge portion F3. This means that the power transformer 31 in the Fig. 3 which contains a primary coil 310 and the six secondary coils 311 to 316.
[0040] Of the six secondary coils 311 to 316, the sixth secondary coil 316, located adjacent to the primary coil 310, is connected to the output voltage stabilizing circuit 34 via one of the rectifier circuits 33. Each of the five remaining secondary coils, that is, the first secondary coil 311 to the fifth secondary coil 315, is connected via one of the rectifier circuits 33 to any one of the plurality of circuit components 100, 110, and 120 constituting the voltage boost / decrease driving circuit 2, the first power converter driving circuit 1a, and the second power converter driving circuit 1b formed on the vehicle-mounted motor driving control board 10.
[0041] The inverter circuit 32 converts a DC input voltage input from a low-voltage battery 30 into an AC voltage to supply the AC voltage to the primary coil 310. Note that the low-voltage battery 30 is a battery for outputting a relatively low voltage, for example, 12 V or 24 V.
[0042] The rectifier circuits 33 are connected to the plurality of secondary coils 311 to 316 and convert an AC voltage generated in each of the secondary coils 311 to 316 into a DC voltage. Accordingly, the Fig. 3, the DC / DC converter 3 includes six rectifier circuits 33. Output ends of the five rectifier circuits 33, which are respectively connected to the five secondary coils, ie, the first secondary coil 311 to the fifth secondary coil 315, are ends for outputting the control voltage.
[0043] The use of the Fig. 3 as the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b achieves the power supply circuits capable of stably supplying electric power.
[0044] By improving the insulation properties of the secondary coils connected to the circuit components 200 of the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 2 from the secondary coils of the DC / DC converter 3, the reliability of the power supply circuits is improved.
[0045] The output voltage stabilization circuit 34 performs control of the inverter circuit 32 according to a difference between an output voltage and a target voltage of the sixth secondary coil 316 to cause the output voltages of the respective secondary coils 311 to 316 to be fixed at the target value. The control is, for example, PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) control of the control signal output to a MOS transistor (not shown) included in the inverter circuit 32.
[0046] Fig. Fig. 4 is a diagram showing a supply system for the control voltages in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10. When the Fig. 3 is used as the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b, it is considered that the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b supply the control voltages to the voltage increase / decrease driving circuit 2, the first power converter driving circuit 1a and the second power converter driving circuit 1b according to the circuit shown in Fig. 4 system shown.
[0047] In the Fig. In the example shown in Figure 4, the first power supply circuit 3a supplies electric power (control voltage) to the N-phase voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 201, which is part of the voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 2, and to the first N-phase converter driver circuit 111 and the first P-phase converter driver circuit 112, all of which are circuit components 110 constituting the first converter driver circuit. The second power supply circuit 3b supplies electric power (control voltage) to the remaining circuits, that is, to the P-phase voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 202, which is part of the voltage boosting / decreasing driver circuit 2, and to the second N-phase converter driver circuit 121 and the second P-phase converter driver circuit 122, all of which are circuit components 120 constituting the second converter driver circuit 1b.
[0048] Considering that reducing the number of component types further reduces costs, it is desirable that the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b be circuits having identical specifications to each other. "Circuits having identical specifications" means that the circuits are identical in the components that constitute the circuits and in the structure for connecting the components to each other. Redundancy of power supply
[0049] When the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b supply the control voltages according to the Fig. 4, the operation of a part of the two-converter circuits 8a and 8b can be continued to ensure the redundancy of the power supply when a failure of one of the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b occurs.
[0050] Fig. Fig. 5 is a diagram schematically showing an operating state of circuits to be driven when a failure of the first power supply circuit 3a occurs. In Fig. 5, circuits marked with crosses are circuits whose operation is terminated by the failure of the first power supply circuit 3a.
[0051] When a failure of the first power supply circuit 3a occurs, the N-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 201 of the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 2 and the first power converter driver circuit 1a are in a state of stopped operation. Thus, the operation of the IGBTs in the N-phase power switching element 71 of the voltage boost / decrease circuit 7 and in the entire first power converter circuit 8a is stopped.
[0052] On the other hand, the P-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 202 of the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 2 and the second power recovery converter circuit 8b operate normally, and the N-phase side FWD in the voltage boost / decrease circuit 7 operates normally. Thus, these circuits operate normally, and the choke coil 63 (inductance) forms a voltage-decreasing chopper circuit, which in turn decreases the voltage of the second capacitor 62 and charges the first capacitor 61.
[0053] As described above, when the failure of the first power supply circuit 3a occurs but the second power supply circuit 3b is normal, the second power recovery converter circuit 8b is able to continue the operation of storing electricity in the first capacitor 61. Furthermore, the above-mentioned voltage reduction chopper circuit reduces the bus voltage to produce the effect of preventing an excessive increase in the bus voltage from damaging the device.
[0054] Similarly, when a failure of the second power supply circuit 3b occurs but the first power supply circuit 3a is normal, the N-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 201 of the voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 2 and the first converter circuit 8a operate normally, and the P-phase side FWD in the voltage boost / decrease circuit 7 operate normally. Thus, these circuits operate normally, and the reactor 63 forms a voltage boost chopper circuit, which in turn increases the voltage of the second capacitor 62. Thus, the first converter circuit 8a operates normally due to the supply of electric power from the second capacitor 62 and the control signal from the first converter driver circuit 1a, enabling it to drive the first three-phase motor 9a.
[0055] When a failure of the second power supply circuit 3b occurs but the first power supply circuit 3a is normal, the first converter circuit 8a is capable of continuing to drive the first three-phase motor 9a as described above. Circuit layout
[0056] Next, with reference to Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 describes a circuit layout in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10. Fig. 6 is a diagram showing a schematic circuit layout and a supply system for control voltages in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10. Fig. 7 is a schematic perspective view of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 and a semiconductor module 6 connected thereto. Fig. The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 shown in Fig. 6 includes the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b, which are controlled by the Fig. 3 shown DC / DC converter 3, and the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b supply the control voltages according to the Fig. 4. In the following description, the power transformer 31 of the first power supply circuit 3a is referred to as the first power transformer 31a, and the power transformer 31 of the second power supply circuit 3b is referred to as the second power transformer 31b.
[0057] As in Fig. 6, the first power transformer 31a and the second power transformer 31b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 are arranged so that the fourth outer edge portions F4 in the first power transformer 31a and the second power transformer 31b are in an opposing relationship to each other.
[0058] In addition, a circuit component 110 constituting a part of the first power converter driving circuit 1a, a circuit component 200 constituting a part of the voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 2, and a circuit component 120 constituting a part of the second power converter driving circuit 1b are arranged in order from the second outer peripheral portion F2 side of the first power transformer 31a in a first area A1 on the side where the third outer peripheral portion F3 of the first power transistor 31a and the first outer peripheral portion F1 of the second power transformer 31b are arranged.
[0059] More specifically, the first P-phase converter driving circuit 112, the N-voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 201, and the second N-phase converter driving circuit 121 are arranged in the first area A1 in order from the second outer peripheral portion F2 side of the first power transformer 31a.
[0060] Each of the circuit components arranged in the first region A1 is connected to one of the following: the secondary coils 311 to 314 arranged on the third outer edge portion F3 side in the first power transformer 31a, and the secondary coil 315 arranged on the first outer edge portion F1 side in the second power transformer 31b.
[0061] More specifically, the first P-phase converter driver circuit 112 is connected to the first secondary coil 311, the second secondary coil 312, and the third secondary coil 313 in the first power transformer 31. The N-phase voltage boost / decrease driver circuit 201 is connected to the fourth secondary coil 314 in the first power transformer 31a. The second N-phase converter driver circuit 121 is connected to the fifth secondary coil 315 in the second power transistor 31b.
[0062] Also, a circuit component 110 constituting the remainder of the first power converter driving circuit 1a, a circuit component 200 constituting the remainder of the voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 2, and a circuit component 120 constituting the remainder of the second power converter driving circuit 1b are arranged in order from the side of the second outer peripheral portion F2 of the first power transformer 31a in a second area A2 on the side where the first outer peripheral portion F1 in the first power transformer 31a and the third outer peripheral portion F3 in the second power transformer 31b are arranged.
[0063] More specifically, the first N-phase converter driving circuit 111, the P-phase voltage increasing / decreasing driving circuit 202, and the second P-phase converter driving circuit 122 are arranged in the second area A2 in order from the second outer peripheral portion F2 side of the first power transformer 31a.
[0064] Each of the circuit components arranged in the second area A2 is connected to one of the following: the secondary coil 315 arranged on the first outer edge portion F1 side in the first power transformer 31a, and the secondary coils 311 to 314 arranged on the third outer edge portion F3 side in the second power transformer 31b.
[0065] More specifically, the first N-phase converter driver circuit 111 is connected to the fifth secondary coil 315 in the first power transformer 31a. The P-phase voltage increase / decrease driver circuit 202 is connected to the fourth secondary coil 214 in the second power transformer 31b. The second P-phase converter driver circuit 122 is connected to the third secondary coil 313, the second secondary coil 312, and the first secondary coil 311 in the second power transformer 31b.
[0066] Even if the circuit components have the Fig. 3 are connected to the secondary coils, other circuits constituting the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b are used as the power transformers 31 in Fig. 6 not shown.
[0067] The use of the Fig. The circuit layout shown in Figure 6 achieves very short electrical power supply lines between the first and second power transformers 31a and 31b and the two power converter driver circuits 1a, 1b and the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit. 2.
[0068] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 7, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is provided with a plurality of connection terminals 1p connected to the semiconductor module 6, which includes the voltage booster / decreaser circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b. These connection terminals 1p establish electrical connections between the two power converter driver circuits 1a, 1b and the voltage booster / decreaser driver circuit 2 in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 and the two power converter circuits 8a, 8b and the voltage booster / decreaser circuit 7 in the semiconductor module 6 to transmit the drive signals.
[0069] The Fig. The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 shown in Figure 6 is provided with the connection terminals 1p arranged in a row on the back of the first area and with the connection terminals 1p arranged in a row on the back of the second area A2. Specifically, the connection terminals 1p for supplying the drive signals to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 are arranged on the back of the circuits that supply the respective drive signals. Fig. The circuit layout shown in Figure 6 is suitable for arranging the connection terminals 1p in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 in two rows. Effects
[0070] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 described above achieves a reduction in size and cost, compared to a conventional board including three power supply circuits, in proportion to the omission of one power supply circuit. Furthermore, in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10, the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b share the supply of electric power (DC voltages) to the plurality of circuit components 200, 110, and 120 constituting the voltage boosting / decreasing drive circuit and the two power converter drive circuits. Thus, when a failure of one of the power supply circuits occurs, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is capable of implementing the function of continuing the operation of part of the two power converter circuits (power supply redundancy).
[0071] For example, the first power supply circuit 3a as shown in Fig. 4, the second power supply circuit 3b supplies electric power to the N-phase voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 201 and all circuit components 110 of the first power converter driving circuit 1a, and the second power supply circuit 3b supplies electric power to the P-phase voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 202 and all circuit components 120 of the second power converter driving circuit 1b. This allows some of the functions, such as the function of storing electricity in the first capacitor 61, to be continued by the second power converter circuit 8b for electric power regeneration when a failure occurs in one of the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b.
[0072] When the position and connection destination of the N-phase voltage increase / decrease driver circuit 201 and the position and connection destination of the P-phase voltage increase / decrease driver circuit 202 are in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 6 shown structures are replaced, similar effects as in the Fig. 4 and Fig. 6. In this case, the P-phase voltage increase / decrease driving circuit 202 receives the supply of electric power (control voltage) from the fourth secondary coil 314 of the first power transformer 31a in the first power supply circuit 3a, and the N-phase voltage increase / decrease driving circuit 201 receives the supply of electric power from the fourth secondary coil 314 of the second power transformer 31b in the second power supply circuit 3b.
[0073] Further, when the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 are circuits having identical specifications to each other, a further reduction in cost is achieved.
[0074] If the connection terminals 1p in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 are arranged in two rows and the Fig. By using the circuit layout shown in Figure 6, the path for supplying electrical power from the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b to the driver circuits is shortened. This achieves a more stable supply of electrical power. Furthermore, the path for supplying drive signals from the driver circuits to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b is shortened. This achieves a more stable supply of drive signals. Second embodiment.
[0075] Next, a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 8 and Fig. 9 described. Fig. 8 is a diagram showing a schematic circuit layout and a supply system for control voltages in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A. Fig. 9 is a schematic perspective view of the vehicle-mounted motor control driver board 10A and the semiconductor module 6 connected thereto.
[0076] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A differs only in its circuit layout from the vehicle-mounted motor control board 10, which is shown in Fig. 1 to 7. The same reference numbers and letters are used to identify components in Fig. 8 and Fig. 9, which is related to the Fig. 1 to 7 are identical. Only differences of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A from the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 are described below.
[0077] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A includes the first power supply circuit 3a and the second power supply circuit 3b, which are controlled by the Fig. 3 shown DC / DC converter 3, and these two power supply circuits 3a and 3b supply the control voltages according to the Fig. 4 shown system.
[0078] As in Fig. 8, the first power transformer 31a and the second power transformer 31b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A are arranged so that the third outer edge portions F3 in the first power transformer 31a and the second power transformer 31b are in an opposing relationship to each other.
[0079] Also, a circuit component 110 constituting a part of the first converter driving circuit 1a, a circuit component 110 constituting the remainder of the first converter driving circuit 1a, and a circuit component 200 constituting a part of the voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 2 are arranged in order from the first outer edge portion F1 side of the first power transformer 31a in a first area A3 including an area opposite the second outer end portion F2 of the first power transformer 31a. Specifically, the first N-phase converter driving circuit 111, the first P-phase converter driving circuit 112, and the N-phase voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 201 are arranged in the first area A3 in order from the first outer edge portion F1 side of the first power transformer 31a.
[0080] Each of the circuit components arranged in the first region A3 is connected to one of the following: the secondary coils 311 to 315 in the first power transformer 31a.
[0081] Specifically, the first N-phase inverter driver circuit 111 is connected to the fifth secondary coil 315 in the first power transformer 31a. The first P-phase converter driver circuit 112 is connected to the first secondary coil 311, the second secondary coil 312, and the third secondary coil 313 in the first power transformer 31a. The N-phase voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 201 is connected to the fourth secondary coil 314 in the first power transformer 31a.
[0082] Also, a circuit component 120 constituting a part of the second power converter driver circuit 1b, a circuit component 120 constituting the remainder of the second power converter driver circuit 1b, and a circuit component 200 constituting the remainder of the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 2 are arranged in order from the side of the first outer edge portion F1 of the second power transistor 31b in a second region 4 including a region opposite the second outer edge portion F4 in the second power transformer 31b. As shown in Fig. 8, the second area A4 is an area adjacent to the first area A3.
[0083] More specifically, the second N-phase converter driving circuit 121, the second P-phase converter driving circuit 122, and the P-phase voltage increasing / decreasing driving circuit 202 are arranged in the second area A4 in order from the side of the first outer peripheral portion F1 of the second power transformer 31b.
[0084] Each of the circuit components arranged in the second region A4 is connected to one of the following: the secondary coils 311 to 315 in the second power transformer 31b.
[0085] More specifically, the second N-phase inverter driver circuit 121 is connected to the fifth secondary coil 315 in the second power transformer 31b. The second P-phase inverter driver circuit 122 is connected to the second secondary coil 312, the third secondary coil 313, and the fourth secondary coil 314 in the second power transformer 31b. The P-phase voltage increase / decrease driver circuit 202 is connected to the first secondary coil 311 in the second power transformer 31b.
[0086] Even if the circuit components have the Fig. 3 are connected to the secondary coils, other circuits constituting the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b, except for the two power transformers 31 in Fig. 8 not shown.
[0087] The use of the Fig. The circuit layout shown in Fig. 8 achieves short electric power supply lines between the first and second power transformers 31a and 31b and the two power converter driving circuits 1a, 1b and the voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 2 in such a state that the circuit components 110 and 120 of the two power converter driving circuits 1a and 1b and the circuit components 200 of the voltage step-up / step-down driving circuit 2 are arranged in a series.
[0088] As in Fig. As shown in Figure 9, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A is provided with a plurality of connection terminals 1p connected to the semiconductor module 6. These connection terminals 1p establish electrical connections between the two power converter drive circuits 1a, 1b and the voltage boost / decrease drive circuit 2 in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b and the voltage boost / decrease circuit 7 in the semiconductor module 6 to transmit the drive signals.
[0089] The Fig. The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A shown in Figure 8 is provided with the connection terminals 1p arranged in a row on the back of the first area A3 and the second area A4. Specifically, the connection terminals 1p for supplying the drive signals to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and to the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A are arranged on the back of the circuits that generate the corresponding drive signals. Fig. The circuit layout shown in Figure 8 is suitable for arranging the connection terminals 1p in a row in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A. Effects
[0090] When the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A is used, similar effects to those achieved when the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is used are produced.
[0091] If the connection terminals 1p in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10A are arranged in a row and the Fig. By using the circuit layout shown in Figure 8, the path for supplying electric power from the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b to the driver circuits is shortened. This achieves a more stable supply of electric power. Furthermore, the path for supplying drive signals from the driver circuits to the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b is shortened. This achieves a more stable supply of drive signals. Third embodiment
[0092] Next, a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B according to a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Fig. 10 described. Fig. 10 is a diagram showing a control voltage supply system in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B.
[0093] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B differs from the one in Fig. 1 to 7 in the supply system for electric power (control voltages) from the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b to the driver circuits. The same reference numerals and letters are used to identify components in Fig. 10, which are identical to those in Fig. 1 to 7. Only differences of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B from the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 will be described below.
[0094] In the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B, the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b supply the control voltages to the circuit components of the driver circuits according to the Fig. 10 shown system.
[0095] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 10, the first power supply circuit 3a in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B supplies electric power (control voltages) to the N-phase voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 201 and the P-phase voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 202 constituting the voltage step-up / step-down driver circuit 2, to the first N-phase converter driver circuit 111 constituting a part of the first converter driver circuit 1a, and to the second N-phase converter driver circuit 121 constituting a part of the second converter driver circuit 1b.
[0096] The second power supply circuit 3b in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B, on the other hand, supplies electric power (control voltages) to the first P-phase converter driver circuit 112 constituting the remainder of the first converter driver circuit 1a and to the second P-phase converter driver circuit 122 constituting the remainder of the second converter driver circuit 1b. Effects
[0097] When the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10B is used, the effects of reductions in size and cost are produced in corresponding relation to the omission of a power supply circuit as in the cases where the vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards 10 and 10A are used.
[0098] Various patterns in addition to those in Fig. 4, Fig. 6 and Fig. 8 can be regarded as patterns of supplying control voltages from the two power supply circuits 3a and 3b to the circuit components of the driver circuits. Fourth embodiment
[0099] Next, with reference to Fig. 11, a vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C according to a fourth embodiment of the present invention is described. Fig. 11 is a schematic block diagram of a vehicle-mounted motor driving device including the vehicle-mounted motor driving control board 10C.
[0100] The vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C is compared to any of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards 10, 10A and 10B shown in Fig. 1 to 10 are constructed so that a protection circuit 4 is added. The same reference numerals and letters are used to identify components in Fig. 11, which are identical to those in Fig. 1 to 10. Only differences of the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C from the vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards 10, 10A, and 10B are described below.
[0101] As in Fig. As shown in Fig. 11, the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C further includes the protection circuit 4 in addition to the components included in the vehicle-mounted motor driver control boards 10, 10A, and 10B.
[0102] A status signal indicating the state of each of the voltage booster / decreaser circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b is input to the protection circuit 4 from each of the voltage booster / decreaser circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b. The status signal is, for example, a detection signal from a sensor provided in each circuit. The sensor provided in each circuit includes, for example, one or more of the following: a voltage sensor, a current sensor, and a temperature sensor.
[0103] When a predetermined abnormal condition is met based on the status signal obtained from each of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b, the protection circuit 4 changes a drive signal to be output to a circuit of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b corresponding to the abnormal condition to a predetermined fail-safe signal (safety-side control signal). Needless to say, the drive signal is a signal output from each of the voltage boosting / decreasing drive circuit 2 and the power converter drive circuits 1a and 1b to a corresponding signal output from the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b.
[0104] For example, when the status signal obtained from any one of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b satisfies the predetermined abnormal condition, the protection circuit 4 changes the drive signal to be output to the circuit from which the status signal was input to the predetermined fail-safe signal. That is, when the abnormal condition is satisfied based on the input status signal, the protection circuit 4 changes the drive signal to be output to any one of the voltage boosting / decreasing circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b corresponding to the satisfied abnormal condition to the fail-safe signal.
[0105] The fail-safe signal is a signal for turning off the IGBT of a power switching device corresponding to the met abnormal condition. The abnormal condition is a condition for determining, for example, that an overvoltage, overcurrent, or excessively high temperature is occurring based on the status signal. Effects
[0106] When the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C is used, effects similar to those obtained when the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10 is used are produced.
[0107] Furthermore, when the vehicle-mounted motor driver control board 10C is used, damage to the power switching elements in the voltage booster / decreaser circuit 7 and the two power converter circuits 8a and 8b is avoided. This improves the reliability of the device.
