Description

Technical FieldThe present invention relates to a table cutting tool for cutting a cutting workpiece disposed on a table.General State of the ArtCutting tools of this type are provided with a positioning stop for positioning the cutting workpiece on the table. By abutting the cutting workpiece against a positioning surface of the positioning stopper, the cutting workpiece is positioned on the table. In many cases, the positioning stopper is disposed to the left and right of the cutting edge and has been improved such that the positioning surface reaches as close as possible to the cutting edge (cutting position) to enable stable cutting processing. However, cutting tools of this type are provided with functions that make it possible to turn the tool main body portion leftward or rightward and to make the cutting edge obliquely cut into the cutting workpiece or to turn the work table leftward or rightward and to make the cutting edge obliquely cut when viewed in plan view. In such oblique cutting, the position of the cutting edge relative to the positioning stop changes by being inclined to the left or right as viewed by the user. Therefore, in order to prevent interference with the cutting edge, a part of the positioning surface is usually provided movably in the positioning stopper and can be retracted in a direction away from the cutting edge. Techniques for such a movable positioning stopper are listed in the following prior art patents.Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2009-255273 discloses a technique in which a part of the positioning surface can be retracted by sliding in the transverse direction. Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2006-167885 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. H09-103913, a technique is disclosed in which a part of the positioning surface can be retracted by vertically rotating. In U.S. Pat. No. 5755148, a technique is disclosed in which a part of the positioning surface is slidable and another rotatable positioning surface is provided on the displacement receiving surface thereof.According to these conventional techniques, when the cutting edge is inclined approximately during the oblique cutting, a part of the positioning surface can be retracted to a position where the cutting edge is not obstructed, which enables positioning in close proximity to the positioning surface and thus more stable cutting processing when the cutting edge is positioned at right angles.Further table cutters with positioning stops are disclosed in US 2005 / 0 262 983 A1, US 7 757 593 B2, US 2009 0 235 797 A1 and DE 10 2005 031 062 A1.Brief SummaryProblem to be SolvedHowever, there is a need to even further approach the positioning surface of the positioning stopper in the perpendicular cutting when the cutting edge is positioned at the right angle, and in order to meet this need, the retraction structure is insufficient for the positioning surface of the related art, and there is a problem that a sufficient inclination angle of the cutting edge cannot be obtained. The present teachings have been made to solve the aforementioned problems of the prior art and it is its object to enable, on the one hand, a further approach of the positioning surface of the positioning stop to the cutting edge during right-angle cutting and, on the other hand, to enable the positioning surface to be partially or completely retracted during oblique cutting further than usual hitherto.means for achieving the objectThe object is achieved by a tabletop cutting device according to claim 1 or 3.The present teachings are a table cutting tool including a table for arranging a cutting workpiece, a tool main body portion supported on the table, and a positioning stopper that is brought into abutment with the cutting workpiece arranged on the table and performs positioning toward the table surface. In the present teachings, the positioning stop includes a base portion and first and second movable stops each slidable with respect to the base portion. In the present teachings, at least one of the base portion, the first movable stopper, and the second movable stopper includes a positioning surface that is brought into abutment with the cutting workpiece and performs positioning toward the table surface. In the present teachings, the movement of the first movable stopper and the second movable stopper is performed in a manner rotatable independently of each other.According to the present teachings, it is possible to select between a state in which only the first movable stopper has been rotationally operated and moved from a use position to a retraction position and a state in which the first and second movable stoppers have both been moved from the use position to the retraction position, to position the positioning stopper with respect to the cutting workpiece within an unobstructed range at a point of great approach and to perform the cutting processing. In the present teachings, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the second movable stopper is slidably supported leftward and rightward with respect to the base portion. In the present teachings, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the second movable stop is directly supported by the base portion. In the present teachings, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the second movable stop includes a positioning surface. According to this configuration, when the second movable stopper is placed in the use position, the cutting workpiece can be brought into abutment with the positioning surface and positioning in the table surface direction can be performed. In the present teachings, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the base portion includes a positioning surface. According to this configuration, the cutting workpiece can be brought into abutment with the positioning surface of the base portion and positioning in the table surface direction can be performed. In the present teachings, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the second movable stopper is supported on the upper part of the base portion. According to this configuration, the height of the positioning stopper can be changed. By reducing the height of the positioning stopper, interference with the cutter body can be prevented in the case of bevel cutting, whereby an increased inclination angle of the cutter body can be set.In the present teachings, in any one of the first to sixth aspects thereof, a indexable cutting tool is possible wherein the second movable stopper is slidable to a retraction position so as to be not higher than the first movable stopper.Brief Description of the FiguresFIG. 1 is a left side view of a table cutting tool of the present embodiment in its entirety. The positioning stopper 50 will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 10 ff. The positioning stopper 50 has a part disposed leftward with respect to the saw blade 12 and a part disposed rightward with respect thereto. These parts will be referred to as right stopper 50R and left stopper 50L hereinafter for differentiation. The right stopper 50R has a fixing stopper 55. The left stopper 50L includes a base portion 53, a first movable member 51, and a second movable member 52. The fixing stopper 55 of the right stopper 50R and the base portion 53 of the left stopper 50L are coupled to each other via a semicircular coupling arm 54. A front surface of the fixing stopper 55 of the right stopper 50R is a positioning surface 55 a, on the entire surface of which the back surface of a cutting workpiece W is abutted and positioned. The positioning surface 55a is made high in precision in flatness and perpendicularity with respect to the surface of the table 20.The positioning stopper 50 of the present embodiment has an important feature with respect to the left stopper 50L. The base portion 53 is formed lower than the fixing stopper 55 of the right stopper 50R. A right end portion 53 bof the base portion 53 (saw blade side end portion) is inclined at an angle of more than 45°. Meanwhile, a left end portion 55 b(blade side end portion) of the fixing stopper 55 of the right stopper 50R is inclined only at a small angle (for example, 10°). That is, as for the inclination angle of the tool main body portion 10 to the left or right, a large inclination angle to the left is permitted. In the present embodiment, the positioning surface 53 afor placing and positioning the cutting workpiece W is provided on the entire front surface of the base portion 53.Along the top of the base portion 53, the second movable stopper 52 is supported. The second movable stopper 52 has a transversely elongated and vertically narrow front surface and is supported slidably in the left and right directions. As shown in FIG. 11, a guide protrusion 52 bis provided on the lower side of the second movable stopper 52 in the longitudinal direction. The guide protrusion 52 bis inserted into a guide groove 53 cprovided on the upper surface of the base portion 53 so that the second movable stopper 52 is slidably supported on the upper surface of the base portion 53 in the left and right directions. The displacement position of the second movable stopper 52 can be fixed as desired by tightening a rotation screw 56. In the present embodiment, the entire front surface of the second movable stopper 52 is also a positioning surface 52 a.The first movable stop 51 is supported on the second movable stop 52. As shown in FIGS. 13, 15 and 17, a support arm portion 51 dis integrally provided on the first movable stopper 51. The first movable stopper 51 is supported at the rear of the second movable stopper 52 in a state of being rotatable up and down via a support shaft 57. The support shaft 57 is inserted into a long-groove-shaped support hole 51b provided at the left end portion (on the rotatable base portion side) on the support arm portion 51d. The first movable stopper 51 can be displaced leftward and rightward in the support bore 51 bwithin the range in which the support shaft 57 is relatively displaceable. The first movable stopper 51 can be laterally displaced between a use position shown in FIGS. 12 and 13 and an unlock position shown in FIGS. 14 and 15. As shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, when the first movable stopper 51 is placed in the use position, a state is obtained in which the front surface thereof is placed in a plane with the right side of the positioning surface 52 aof the second movable stopper 52 and the positioning surface 53 aof the base portion 53. In the present embodiment, the front surface of the first movable stopper 51 is also a positioning surface 51 aon which the cutting workpiece W is abutted. By the positioning surfaces 51 a, 52 aof the first and second movable stoppers 51, 52 and the positioning surface 53 aof the base portion 53, a wide positioning surface having approximately the same area as the right stopper 50R is formed. The thickness of the support arm portion 51 dis set so as not to protrude beyond the upper end of the second movable stopper 52 when the first movable stopper 51 is disposed in the use position and the unlock position. On the side where the rotational movement of the support arm portion 51d of the first movable stopper 51 terminates in the longitudinal direction, an engaging recess 51c is provided. The engaging recess 51c is elongated and formed in the same direction as the support hole 51b. In FIGS. 13, 15 and 17, the engaging recess 51 cis opened downward. On the rear side of the second movable stopper 52, in turn, an engaging shaft portion 58 is provided. The engaging shaft portion 58 is provided so as to protrude rearward. When the first movable stopper 51 is rotated downward and is placed in the use position (position of FIG. 13 ) and the unlock position (position of FIG. 15 ), the engagement shaft portion 58 enters the engagement recess 51 c. When the first movable stopper 51 is moved to the unlocking position of FIG. 15, the engaging shaft portion 58 is relatively displaced over the opening of the engaging recess 51 cand comes into a state of being able to relatively come out downward. Therefore, the first movable stopper 51 is rotatable upward in the unlocking position. As shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the first movable stopper 51 can be turned by 180 degrees left and right around the support shaft 57. As shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, in the left-hand-turned state of the first movable stopper 51, by loosening the rotation screw 56, the second movable stopper 52 can be slid leftward and moved to the return position. By moving the second movable stopper 52 to the retraction position, the height of the left stopper 50L of the positioning stopper 50 can be reduced to the height of the base portion 53.In addition, on the front surface of the swing support portion 45 supporting the tool main body portion 10, an illumination device 60 is provided that illuminates the part to be cut to facilitate the cutting work in the night or in the dark. Details of this lighting device 60 are shown in FIG. 20. As shown in FIG. 3, the lighting device 60 is mounted on a side that is further right than the saw blade 12 in front view and is the right front surface of the swing support portion 45. Thus, the lighting device 60 is disposed below the pivot point (pivot shaft 47) of the tool main body portion 10. The illumination device 60 illuminates the part to be cut (the cutting edge). As shown in FIG. 20, the lighting device 60 includes three LEDs 62 to 62 (light emitting diodes) as a light source. The three LEDs 62 to 62 are mounted on a control board 61. The three LEDs 62 to 62 are arranged in a circle at approximately equal intervals. In addition, the three LEDs 62 to 62 are arranged adjacently such that their emission directions are parallel to each other.Three LEDs 62 to 62 are accommodated inside the lighting case 63. On the front side of the lighting case 63, a transparent cover 64 is attached. The transparent cover 64 faces straight forward (toward the user). However, the transparent cover 64 faces slightly downward. As shown in FIG. 20, the emission direction of the three LEDs 62 to 62 is inclined downward as viewed from the side. The emission direction of the three LEDs 62 to 62 is inclined to the left in plan view. Therefore, in FIG. 20 (viewed from the right), the back side of the control board 61 is seen. Thus, by mounting the lighting device 60 offset rightward with respect to the saw blade 12 when viewed from the front and accommodating the three LEDs 62 to 62 in a position in which the emission direction thereof is inclined downward when viewed from the side and leftward when viewed from the front, the cutting edge of the saw blade 12 (the part to be cut) is illuminated with high efficiency. In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 6, in a state in which the tool main body portion 10 has been moved down to the lowest lowering end, assuming an imaginary horizontal plane V passing through the lower surface of the reduction gear portion 16, the emission direction of the three LEDs 62 to 62 is set to illuminate the cutting edge in an area S that is below the imaginary horizontal plane V and above the surface of the table 20.In the table cutting tool 1 having the above-described configuration, the positioning stopper 50 for positioning the cutting workpiece W on the table 20 includes the two movable stoppers 51 and 52 that can be moved between the use position and the retraction position. The first movable stopper 51 is provided rotatably up and down, while the second movable stopper 52 is provided slidably leftward and rightward. As shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, in the case of square cutting, when the saw blade 12 is disposed at a right angle with respect to the table surface, the first and second movable stoppers 51 and 52 can be respectively disposed at the use position. By disposing the first and second movable stoppers 51 and 52 in the use position, respectively, the left and right stoppers 50L, 50R can approach the saw blade 12 to the maximum, thereby enabling secure positioning of the cutting workpiece W and also enabling backward stiebling of saw chips and the like to be effectively prevented. As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, when the first movable stopper 51 is slightly slid to the right and moved to the unlocking position, the engagement shaft portion 58 relatively slides in the engagement recess 51 cvia the opening, whereby the first movable stopper 51 becomes an upwardly rotatable state.By rotating the first movable stopper 51 upward around the support shaft 57 and turning it left and right as shown in FIGS. 16 and 17, the first movable stopper 51 can be moved to the retraction position. By moving the first movable stopper 51 to the retraction position in this manner, the saw blade 12 can perform a bevel cutting operation by being tilted leftward by, for example, 45°. The oblique cutting operation can be carried out while the second movable stop 52 is arranged in the position of use.Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 18 and 19, after the first movable stopper 51 is moved to the return position, the second movable stopper 52 can be slid leftward and moved to the return position. By moving the second movable stopper 52 to the retraction position, the height of the left stopper 50R can be substantially reduced to the height of the base portion 53. In this state, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the tool main body 10 can be moved leftward with an even greater inclination to perform the bevel cutting operation. In this way, the first movable stopper 51 can be moved to the retraction position in a state where the second movable stopper 52 is disposed in the use position. Thus, between a state in which only the first movable stopper 51 has been rotated upward and moved from the use position to the retraction position and a state in which both the first and second movable stoppers 51, 52 have been moved from the use position to the retraction position, it is possible to select such that the positioning surface is located at a position in close proximity to the saw blade 12 within a range in which no interference with the saw blade 12 or the tool main body portion 10 takes place, to perform the cutting processing.Various changes may be made to the above-described embodiments. In addition to the first and second movable stoppers 51, 52, for example, a configuration has been described in which a positioning surface 53 ais also provided on the base portion 53, but the positioning surface 53 aon the base portion 53 may be omitted. Also, one of the positioning surfaces 51 a, 52 aof the first and second movable stoppers 51, 52 may be omitted. As a function of the positioning stopper 50, in addition to the function of positioning the cutting workpiece W, a chip removing function is also conceivable for preventing chips or cut pieces from sting rearward, wherein a positioning surface is set on the front surface of the first or second movable stopper 51, 52 or the base portion 53, and otherwise a configuration for the above-mentioned chip removing function can be realized. As for the left stopper 50L, a configuration including the first and second movable stoppers 51, 52 has been described by way of example, but this configuration is also possible for the right stopper 50R, and the exemplary movable stoppers may be provided on both.
