Abstract

Arrangement comprising: a sensor (11900) comprising an extension (11902), a flag (11904) and a neck (11906) connecting the extension (11902) and the flag (11904); wherein: - the extension (11902) has a first end (11908a), a second end (11908b) opposite the first end (11908a), a tower (11910) at or near the second end (11908b), and an enzyme configured to assist analyte monitoring; - the tower (11910) extends vertically upward from a point where the neck (11906) connects the extension (11902) and the flag (11904); - the tower (11910) defines a projection (11912) extending laterally therefrom; - the extension (11902) is configured to be received transcutaneously beneath the skin of a user; - the flag (11904) has a substantially flat surface having a plurality of sensor contacts (11914) arranged thereon;- the neck (11906) defines a depression (11916) extending between the flag (11904) and the extension (11902); and a connecting element arrangement (12000, 12100) comprising: -- a plurality of compliant metal contacts (12104) configured to be attached against the sensor (11900) and to be in contact with the plurality of sensor contacts (11914) of the flag (11904); and -- a connecting element (12002, 12102) comprising a plurality of recesses (12108) configured to receive the plurality of compliant metal contacts (12104).
