Abstract
Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a soap stand for holding a solid soap for cleaning the hands of a person (male / female / diverse). The invention also relates to a soap stand set comprising such a soap stand and a matching solid soap. The invention also relates to a solid soap suitable for use with such a soap stand.
[0002] Solid soaps used to clean hands are superficially moist after use and tend to contaminate and stick to the surface on which they are placed after use. To remedy this, soap dishes are available. These are placed on the surface and contain the solid soap. As long as the person returns the solid soap to the dish after use, the surface is protected from contamination by the solid soap. However, the solid soap can now stick to the dish. There is also the additional disadvantage that the solid soap remains in the dish for a long time in residual liquid and thus becomes softened, which leads to premature wear of the solid soap. To remedy this, soap dishes are available that have a drip tray onto which the solid soap is placed. This allows the solid soap to dry quickly after use. However, the solid soap may then stick to the draining rack.
[0003] The sticking of the solid soap creates sticky spots on the solid soap, which alter the surface of the solid soap after it dries. In particular, this can cause edges to form on the surface. This also changes the feel of the solid soap during use, which is often perceived as disadvantageous. The aforementioned risks associated with the use of solid soap—contamination of a storage area, sticking to the storage area, and impaired feel—all of which adversely affect the handling of the solid soap.
[0004] The present invention addresses the problem of remedying the disadvantages described above. In particular, the handling of the solid soap is to be improved.
[0005] This problem is solved according to the invention by the subject matter of the independent claims. Advantageous embodiments are the subject matter of the dependent claims.
[0006] The invention is based on the general idea of providing a soap stand for holding a solid soap. This stand remains attached to the solid soap during use and can be used to place the solid soap on a surface. This prevents direct contact between the solid soap and the surface in question, thus preventing contamination of the surface and also preventing sticking to the surface. In particular, this ensures that the solid soap retains its pleasant feel for a long time.
[0007] A soap stand according to the invention comprises a tray which defines a support surface on its underside for placing the soap stand on a flat surface, as well as a cylindrical rod which extends at an angle to the support surface and is attached directly or indirectly to an upper side of the tray in a central region of the tray. The rod thus projects upwards from the tray. Furthermore, the soap stand is equipped with an end piece which is arranged at an end of the rod remote from the tray. In order to hold the respective solid soap on the soap stand, it is now provided that the rod penetrates the solid soap such that the solid soap held on the soap stand is arranged between the tray and the end piece on the rod. The soap stand thus holds the solid soap in such a way that it can be used by a person without having to remove it from the soap stand.
[0008] The rod attached to the tray can expediently extend at an angle of 75° to 90° relative to the support plane. A preferred configuration is one in which the rod extends perpendicular to the support plane.
[0009] In the present context, a ‘configuration’ is synonymous with a ‘design’, so that the phrase ‘configured so that’ is synonymous with the phrase ‘designed so that’.
[0010] According to one embodiment, the underside of the tray can be flat and lie in the storage plane. Alternatively, it can also be provided that circular, linear, or point-shaped elevations are formed on the underside of the tray, which define the storage plane with their freestanding ends.
[0011] According to one embodiment, the shell can have a round, in particular circular, outer contour. Alternatively, the outer contour of the shell can also be polygonal.
[0012] An advantageous embodiment is one in which the bowl has a circumferential rim that protrudes upwards. This defines a volume for collecting liquid that drips or flows down from the solid soap after use and thus enters the bowl.
[0013] Another advantageous embodiment is one in which the soap stand has a cylindrical intermediate piece by means of which the bar is attached to the bowl. The intermediate piece can have an outer cross-section that is larger than the outer cross-section of the bar. The solid soap held on the soap stand is then arranged between the intermediate piece and the end piece on the bar. This allows the solid soap attached to the bar to slide down along the bar as far as the intermediate piece, thus avoiding direct contact between the solid soap and the bowl. This in particular prevents the solid soap from standing in residual liquid that may be in the bowl. This prevents any disadvantageous softening of the solid soap.
[0014] The spacer can be a permanent part of the rod, permanently connected to the rod. For example, the rod and spacer can be manufactured as a single injection-molded or die-cast part, or can be made from a single blank. It is also conceivable to weld the rod and spacer.
[0015] Alternatively, the intermediate piece can form a component of the shell that is permanently connected to the shell. For example, the shell and intermediate piece can be manufactured as a single injection-molded or die-cast part.
[0016] The shell and intermediate piece can also be manufactured from a single blank. It's also conceivable to weld the intermediate piece to the shell.
[0017] Alternatively, the intermediate piece can also be provided with respect to the dish and the bar as a separate component of the soap dish, which is detachably attached to the dish, in particular by means of a screw connection, and is also detachably attached to the bar, in particular by means of a screw connection. In this way, commercially available bar material can also be used for the production of the bar and the intermediate piece, which can result in cost advantages.
[0018] A practical embodiment is one in which the rod has a rod thread and the bowl has a bowl thread that complements the rod thread. To attach the rod to the bowl, the rod thread is screwed to the bowl thread. This makes it particularly easy to detach the rod to the bowl. The detachable attachment between bowl and rod can be advantageous, for example, for attaching a new solid soap if the end piece is firmly or permanently connected to the rod. Furthermore, the soap stand is easier to transport if the bowl and rod are not yet assembled and require less packaging space than the assembled soap stand.
[0019] The shell may have a projection on its upper side in the central area that protrudes upwards and has the shell thread configured as an external thread. In this case, the rod thread is configured as an internal thread, so that the rod is screwed to the shell at the projection.
[0020] In an alternative embodiment, the shell can have a recess on its upper side in the central region, in which the shell thread, designed as an internal thread, is formed. In this case, the rod thread is designed as an external thread, so that the rod is screwed to the shell in the recess.
[0021] A particularly advantageous embodiment is one in which the aforementioned intermediate piece is combined with the aforementioned screw connection. The intermediate piece can be a component of the rod and have the rod thread. Alternatively, the intermediate piece can be a component of the shell and have the shell thread. In both cases, the rod is screwed to the shell via the intermediate piece, with the intermediate piece forming a component of either the rod or the shell, depending on the embodiment.
[0022] The end piece can expediently have an outer cross-section that is larger than the outer cross-section of the rod. This secures the solid soap attached to the rod upwards through the end piece. In this case, the free inner cross-section of a through-hole penetrating the solid soap is expediently approximately as large as the outer cross-section of the rod, and in any case smaller than the outer cross-section of the end piece and smaller than the outer cross-section of any intermediate piece present.
[0023] The end piece can, in principle, have any suitable shape. Preferably, the end piece can be spherical, cylindrical, or disc-shaped. A cuboid-shaped end piece is also conceivable.
[0024] The end piece can have an insertion opening that complements the end of the bar remote from the bowl, allowing the end piece to be removably attached to the bar. This design is based on the idea that the soap stand is usually placed on a surface and holds the solid soap ready for use. The end piece can be easily removed from the bar, for example, to attach a new solid soap to the bar.
[0025] Alternatively, a design in which the end piece is screwed to the rod is also conceivable. For example, the soap dish can be gripped by the end piece to lift it off the surface and move or transport it around the room.
[0026] In an alternative embodiment, the end piece can form a permanent part of the rod. In this case, a detachable connection between the rod and the intermediate piece is required, in particular a screw connection, to allow the attachment of a new solid soap to the rod.
[0027] Alternatively, the end piece can form a separate component of the soap stand from the bowl and the bar, which is detachably attached to the bar, in particular by means of a screw connection, a plug connection, or a bayonet lock. This embodiment is preferred when, on the one hand, the end piece is to be used for gripping and transporting the soap stand, while, on the other hand, a new solid soap is to be placed on the bar at the end remote from the bowl by loosening the end piece.
[0028] A particularly advantageous embodiment is one in which the soap stand has a wall bracket that can be attached to a wall and that has a holding element for releasably holding the end piece on the wall bracket. The wall bracket can also be configured such that, when the wall bracket is attached to the wall and the end piece is held on the wall bracket, the bowl connected to the end piece via the rod is spaced from the wall. This assumes that the wall runs essentially vertically at least from the wall bracket to the bowl. This allows the soap stand to be attached to the wall in a suspended manner using the wall bracket. This gives the soap stand an additional function, as it can now be hung on the wall using the wall bracket, making it particularly space-saving to store, while on the other hand it can be placed on the respective surface for use with solid soap, for example next to the sink.
[0029] A particularly advantageous embodiment is one in which the holding element and the end piece are configured such that the end piece is magnetically held to the holding element. Such a magnetic connection or coupling represents a quick connection that can be easily and quickly released manually, so that the soap stand can be easily removed from the wall mount and reattached. Furthermore, such a magnetic mount can be easily dimensioned so that the weight of the soap stand with the solid soap attached to it can be transferred via the wall mount to the wall, so that the soap stand is securely held to the wall mount. For example, the holding element can be magnetic or have a permanent magnet, while the end piece can be ferromagnetic or have a ferromagnetic body.Alternatively, the end piece can be magnetic or have a permanent magnet, while the holding element can be ferromagnetic or have a ferromagnetic body. Alternatively, it can also be provided that both the holding element is magnetic and / or has a permanent magnet, and the end piece is magnetic or has a permanent magnet.
[0030] As an alternative to a magnetic coupling between the end piece and the retaining element, a hook-and-eyelet connection can also be provided. Accordingly, the retaining element can have a hook, while the end piece has an eyelet. It is also conceivable for the end piece to have a hook, while the retaining element has an eyelet. In any case, the hook and eyelet are coordinated in such a way that the hook is hooked into the eyelet to releasably hold the end piece to the retaining element. In principle, other quick-release connections between the retaining element and the end piece are also conceivable.
[0031] The wall mount can have a flange for attaching the wall mount to the wall, as well as a bracket that connects the flange to the support element. The bracket can be used to define a distance between the support element and the wall, which can also be used to determine a distance between the dish and the wall when the soap dish is attached to the wall via the wall mount.
[0032] A soap stand set according to the invention comprises a soap stand of the type described above and a solid soap configured for use with this soap stand.
[0033] The solid soap can expediently have a through-hole dimensioned such that the bar can be inserted into the through-hole far enough to penetrate the solid soap. In this embodiment, the solid soap is arranged separately within the soap stand set relative to the soap stand. In particular, the solid soap can also be wrapped in protective packaging.
[0034] Alternatively, the solid soap can have a through-hole, with the bar passing through the solid soap in the through-hole. In this embodiment, the solid soap is already mounted on the bar within the soap stand set.
[0035] A solid soap for cleaning hands according to the invention is characterized by a soap body having a through-opening. The soap body and the through-opening are dimensioned such that the solid soap is suitable for use with a soap stand of the type described above, such that to hold the solid soap on the soap stand, the rod penetrates the soap body in the through-opening. For example, the through-opening is dimensioned such that its free inner cross-section is approximately the same size as or slightly larger than the outer cross-section of the rod, but smaller than the outer cross-section of the end piece and smaller than the outer cross-section of any intermediate piece present. Furthermore, a length of the soap body measured in the longitudinal direction of the through-opening is approximately the same size as or slightly smaller than a longitudinal section of the rod intended for receiving the solid soap. This longitudinal section of the rod extends between the end piece and the intermediate piece when assembled, and between the end piece and the shell when the intermediate piece is missing. In this context, the terms "slightly larger" and "slightly smaller" are to be understood as "maximum 15% larger" and "maximum 15% smaller," respectively.
[0036] Further important features and advantages of the invention emerge from the subclaims, from the drawings and from the associated description of the figures based on the drawings.
[0037] It is understood that the features mentioned above and those to be explained below can be used not only in the respective combination specified, but also in other combinations or on their own, without departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the claims. Components mentioned above and those to be mentioned below of a higher-level unit, such as a device, apparatus, or arrangement, which are designated separately, may form separate parts or components of this unit or be integral areas or sections of this unit, even if this is shown differently in the drawings.
[0038] Preferred embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawings and are explained in more detail in the following description, wherein the same reference numerals refer to the same or similar or functionally identical components.
[0039] They show, schematically, Fig. 1 a side view of a soap stand with solid soap, Fig. 2 a side view of the soap stand, but without solid soap, Fig. 3 an isometric view from above of the soap stand without solid soap, Fig. 4 an isometric view from below of the soap stand without solid soap, Fig. 5 a side view of the soap stand with solid soap, but in a different embodiment, Fig. 6 a longitudinal center section of a bowl of the soap stand, Fig. 7 a longitudinal center section of the shell, but in a different embodiment, Fig. 8 a longitudinal center section of the shell, but in a further embodiment, Fig. 9 a side view of a bar of the soap stand, Fig. 10 is a side view of the rod, but in a different embodiment, Fig. 11 an enlarged longitudinal section of an end piece of the soap stand, Fig. 12 a side view of the solid soap.
[0040] According to the Fig. 1 to 5, a soap stand 1, which serves to hold a solid soap 2, which in turn is used to clean hands, comprises a bowl 3, a cylindrical rod 4 and an end piece 5. The bowl 3 defines on its underside 6 a storage plane 7, with or in which the bowl 3 can be placed on a flat surface 8. The rod 4 extends at an angle to the storage plane 7. In the example, the rod 4 runs perpendicular to the storage plane 7. The rod 4 projects upwards on an upper side 9 of the bowl 3 and is fastened to the bowl 3 in a central region 10 of the bowl 3. The end piece 5 is arranged at an end 11 of the rod 4 remote from the bowl 3. To hold the solid soap 2 on the soap stand 1, the rod 4 penetrates the solid soap 2 such that the solid soap 2 held on the soap stand 1 is arranged between the bowl 3 and the end piece 5 on the rod 4.
[0041] According to the Fig. 1 to 8, the underside 6 of the tray 3 can be flat and lie in the storage plane 7. The flat underside 6 thus defines the storage plane 7. Furthermore, the tray 3 can be circularly configured so that it has a circular outer contour. It is further preferred that the tray 3 has a circumferential edge 12 that projects upwards. This creates a collecting volume on the upper side 9 of the tray 3 for collecting residual liquid and soap, which can flow or drip off the solid soap 2 after use and thus reach the tray 3 and be collected therein.
[0042] According to the Fig. 1 to 6 and 9, the soap stand 1 can also have a cylindrical intermediate piece 13, via which the rod 4 is attached to the bowl 3. The intermediate piece 13 has an outer cross section 14 which is larger than an outer cross section 15 of the rod 4. The solid soap 2 held on the soap stand 1 is arranged between the intermediate piece 13 and the end piece 5 on the rod 4. The intermediate piece 13 can, for example, in the Fig. 1 to 4 and 9 form a component of the rod 4 that is permanently connected to the rod 4. An integral production from a single blank or by a single casting process is conceivable. Alternatively, the intermediate piece 13 can be, for example, Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 form a component of the bowl 3 that is permanently connected to the bowl 3. Here, too, production from a single blank or through a single casting process is conceivable. Alternatively, the intermediate piece 13 can also form a separate component of the soap stand 1 with respect to the bowl 3 and the rod 4. The intermediate piece 13 is then detachably attached to the bowl 3, for example by means of a screw connection. Furthermore, the intermediate piece 13 is then also detachably attached to the rod 4, for example by means of a screw connection.
[0043] According to the Fig. 6 to 10, the rod 4 can have a rod thread 16, while the shell 3 has a shell thread 17, which is designed complementary to the rod thread 16. To fasten the rod 4 to the shell 3, the rod thread 16 can now be screwed directly to the shell thread 17. According to the examples of Fig. 7 and Fig. 8, the shell 3 may have on its upper side 9 in the central region 10 a projection 18 which projects upwards and which has the shell thread 17, which is designed here as an external thread. According to Fig. 9, the rod thread 16 can be designed as an internal thread. As a result, the rod 4 can be screwed to the shell 3 at the projection 18.
[0044] In the example of Fig. 6 and Fig. 10, the shell 3 can have a recess 19 on its upper side 9 in the central region 10, in which the shell thread 17 is formed, which is designed as an internal thread. The rod thread 16 is then designed as an external thread. The rod 4 can be screwed to the shell 3 in the recess 19. In the example of Fig. 6, the intermediate piece 13 is a component of the shell 3 and has the shell thread 17. In the example of Fig. 9, the intermediate piece 13 is a component of the rod 4 and has the rod thread 16.
[0045] According to the Fig. 1 and Fig. 2, the end piece 5 has an outer cross section 20 which is larger than the outer cross section 15 of the rod 4. The end piece 5 can be made according to the Fig. 1 to 4 and 11 are spherical in shape. In Fig. 5, however, shows a disc-shaped end piece 5. In principle, other shapes for the end piece 5 are also conceivable, such as a cylindrical shape.
[0046] Accordingly Fig. 11, the end piece 5 can have a recess 21, which in a first embodiment is configured as an insertion opening 22. The insertion opening 22 is designed to be complementary to the end 11 of the rod 4 remote from the bowl 3, so that the end piece 5 can be detachably plugged onto the rod 4 or onto the rod end 11 in question. Alternatively, the recess 21 can also be designed as a threaded opening 23 and have an internal thread 24. Complementarily, the associated rod end 11 can have a matching external thread 25, so that the end piece 5 can be screwed to the rod 4. Preferably, the end piece 5 forms a separate component of the soap stand 1 with respect to the bowl 3 and the rod 4, which is detachably attached to the rod 4, for example via the plug-in connection or the screw connection 24-25 described above. In this case, the rod 4 can also be permanently attached to the shell 3.In another embodiment, however, it can be provided that the end piece 5 is permanently connected to the rod 4. In this case, the connection between the rod 4 and the shell 3 is detachable and can be formed, for example, by the screw connection 16-17 described above. The intermediate piece 13 described above is preferably used.
[0047] At the Fig. In the embodiment shown in Figure 5, the soap stand 1 is also equipped with a wall bracket 26 that can be attached to a vertical wall 27. The wall bracket 26 has a holding element 28 that is configured to releasably hold the end piece 5 on the wall bracket 26. The wall bracket 26 can expediently be configured such that, when the wall bracket 26 is attached to the wall 27 and the end piece 5 is held on the wall bracket 26, the bowl 3 connected to the end piece 5 via the rod 4 is spaced from the wall 27. A corresponding distance between the bowl 3 and the wall 27 is shown in Figure 5. Fig. 5 and designated 29. In other words, using the wall bracket 26, the remaining soap stand 1 can be hung on the wall 27.
[0048] The preferred option is Fig. 5, in which the holding element 28 and the end piece 5 are configured such that the end piece 5 is magnetically held on the holding element 28. For this purpose, it is generally sufficient to design one of the holding element 28 and the end piece 25 to be magnetic or to equip it with a permanent magnet, while the other of the holding element 28 and the end piece 5 is ferromagnetic or has a ferromagnetic body. It is also conceivable to design both the holding element 28 and the end piece 25 to be magnetic or to equip them with a permanent magnet. In the present context, "magnetic" is synonymous with "magnetically attractive," while "ferromagnetic" is synonymous with "magnetically attractable."
[0049] The retaining element 28 and the end piece 5 form a releasable coupling 30, which is realized here by means of magnetic forces. In another embodiment, the releasable coupling 30 can also be formed using a hook and a complementary eyelet. The hook can, for example, be formed on the end piece 5, while the eyelet is formed on the retaining element 28, or vice versa.
[0050] The wall mount 26 comprises a flange 31 configured to secure the wall mount 26 to the wall 27, and a bracket 32 connecting the flange 31 to the support member 28. In the example of Fig. 5, the bracket 32 is L-shaped.
[0051] One in the Fig. 1 and Fig. The soap stand set 33 shown in Figure 5 comprises the soap stand 1 and the solid soap 2. The solid soap 2 is according to the Fig. 1, Fig. 5 and Fig.12 is configured so that it can be used with the soap stand 1. For this purpose, the solid soap 2 has a through-opening 34 which is dimensioned such that the rod 4 can be inserted into this through-opening 34 to such an extent that the rod 4 penetrates the solid soap 2. The solid soap 2 can thus be attached to the rod 4 between the end piece 5 and the intermediate piece 13. In particular, a length 35 of the solid soap 2 measured in the longitudinal direction of the through-opening 34 is less than or at most equal to a distance 36 between the end piece 5 and the intermediate piece 13 in the assembled state of the soap stand 1. In detail, the solid soap 2 has a soap body 37 which has the through-opening 34 and which has the said length 35. A free inner cross-section 38 of the through-opening 34 is equal to or a maximum of 15% larger than the outer cross-section 15 of the rod 4.The length 35 of the soap body 37 is equal to or at most 15% smaller than the distance 36 between the end piece 5 and the intermediate piece 13.
