Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a closure lid, in particular for ointments, creams, or other containers containing pastes, ointments, and creams, wherein a double spatula is attached in a holder for removing the contents of the container without having to touch the contents with a finger. Ideally, these contents have a cream-like consistency.

[0002] Even today, cream pots, jars or containers are sealed with lids that offer no way to remove the contents.

[0003] To remove various creams from containers, in the cosmetics industry in this case, a finger is often used, sometimes several. This leads to the cream getting stuck under the fingernail, resulting in unnecessary over-dispensing. Furthermore, it is unhygienic to remove cream from the container with a finger, as one cannot know what material is already under the fingernail or on the finger itself and could be transferred into the container. In many cases, the excess cream is wiped off on the rim of the container. It then collects in the grooves of the outer rim or ends up on the inner lid.

[0004] This remaining cream is usually no longer suitable for application to the skin.

[0005] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a means of dispensing the cream that is integrated as an accessory, is easy to carry, use, and clean, allows for more precise dosing of the cream, and is hygienic, since there is no need to touch the cream with the fingers and potential contamination with cream residue on the outer rim of the container and the inner lid can be avoided. The shelf life of the cream in the container can thus be extended.

[0006] This task is accomplished by a spatula / double spatula integrated into the lid, which is inserted centrally into a holder at the edge of the inner lid. This holder is attached a few millimeters from the inner edge of the lid, to the left and right of the lid's edge, in such a way that it does not impede the lid's rotation when opening and closing the container. In this application, the spatula or double spatula is used as a means of collecting a paste-like or similar material. It can be used with one end or both ends for this purpose.

[0007] This holder should be made of an easy-to-clean material, ideally plastic, roughened on the underside for better grip of the double spatula, and shaped like a strip.

[0008] The dimensions of the retaining strip are ideally adapted to the width of the inner sealing cap and the width of the double spatula. It should be positioned so that the double spatula cannot slip out or has very little room to move.

[0009] Another way to attach the bracket is to secure only one side of it. This leaves one side open, making cleaning easier.

[0010] In this case, the bracket should be made of a firmer, flexible material, also with a roughened inner surface. The single-sided mounting point can be wider than that of a double-sided bracket to ensure a secure attachment.

[0011] Another option for attaching the double spatula is to use double-sided adhesive tape made of nanomaterial instead of a holder. This tape is reusable, bend-resistant, age-resistant, and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. A short strip applied to the inside of the lid—preferably in the first third of the space intended for the double spatula—is sufficient, allowing for easy removal and reattachment with gentle pressure. The double-sided nano tape remains firmly adhered to the inside of the lid.

[0012] The double spatula can be made of the same material as the holder and lid, preferably plastic. Ideally, its length is half the diameter of the inner lid and it is rounded at the front for safe handling. On the back of the double spatula, slightly closer to the end, there is a raised point, ideally a small glass bead, which is easily visible and detectable by touch. This point aids in removing the double spatula from the holder—simply place your finger on it and pull away—and also helps distinguish the front and back of the spatula. (The raised point on the spatula also provides a better grip.) This design also allows for the attachment of a foil strip, which is placed on the upper rim of the container and secured. This foil is made of a sturdier material, ideally aluminum foil, and is attached to the upper rim of the container in such a way that a smaller portion of the foil edge is firmly attached to the rim, while the larger portion is coated with a lighter adhesive. This adhesive strip can be easily opened each time the cream is removed by means of a small, integrated tab on the foil edge, and then securely closed again by gently pressing on the larger portion of the foil after use. This foil serves to cover the cream, to catch the double spatula should it come loose from its holder, and also to keep the cream in the lower part of the container, preventing it from spreading throughout the container due to unforeseen movements (e.g., while traveling or if dropped).
