Description

[0001] The one-sided electrically lowerable carrier system allows easy loading and unloading of scooters or e-bikes from the motorhome without the need for an additional ramp.

[0002] The development to be registered for protection consists of a support system made of stainless steel tubes that is flanged to the existing frame extension for the trailer hitch. The round tube system enables the rotational movement required for one-sided lowering.

[0003] A support tube is bolted to both sides of the frame extension. On the left side of the vehicle (driver's side), the support tube accommodates the upwardly offset bracket for the vehicle rail. On the right side (passenger side), the motor column with the spindle drive is inserted into the support tube. The lifting tube, with the spindle nut and the upwardly offset attachment for the vehicle rail, runs inside the motor column. Position adjustment and longitudinal fastening are achieved using adapted rings or the front adjusting ring with clamping screw.

[0004] The vehicle rail for scooter operation has a cutout into which the front wheel is placed. An additional bracket provides lateral support. On the right side, it is secured using tensioning straps and a metal bracket guided along the motor column.

[0005] For e-bike operation, up to four rails can be installed, to which the bikes are attached using commercially available elements.

[0006] For loading / unloading, the lifting tube and the attached vehicle rail on the right side of the vehicle are lowered via a spindle drive with an electric motor. The movable bearings in the two support tubes allow for the desired tilt. The electric motor is controlled via a radio switch.

[0007] When the rail touches the ground, the scooter or e-bike can be easily put on or taken off.

[0008] After the lifting process, which is limited by a limit switch, a locking pin is inserted into a hole through the motor column and lifting tube, thus preventing unintentional lowering.

Claims

[1] Rear carrier characterized by that the carrier on the passenger side can be lowered to the ground by an electric motor for loading and unloading. [2] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the support is made of stainless steel / rust-proof round tube. [3] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by The lowering device consists of an inner tube with a boom and an outer tube, which is lowered for unloading using a spindle drive with a trapezoidal thread and raised after loading. (2.3 & 2.4) [4] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the drive, via a planetary gear motor, acts perpendicularly on the spindle drive and the inner tube is moved up or down. (2.5) [5] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the carrier's ramp is mounted on the left bracket so that it can be rotated to raise or lower the vehicle. (1.3) [6] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the left support (1.1) is screwed firmly but detachably into the frame holder. [7] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the lowering device is rotatably mounted in the frame mount. (2.1 & 2.2) [8] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the fastening of a scooter is metallically connected to a mechanical fastening made of stainless steel by means of an over-tube which moves along while driving on and is secured against accidental release by a locking pin. [9] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that after the carrier has been raised, the inner tube is secured against accidental lowering by a safety bolt with a locking bracket. (2.7) [10] according to one of the preceding claims characterized bythat the ramp on the lowering side can be mounted on a stainless steel plate at a variable distance from the rear wall of the motorhome. (2.6) [11] according to one of the preceding claims characterized by that the ramp is equipped with a front wheel recess and a front wheel support bracket to prevent the scooter from tipping over when driving onto it. (1.4)
