Beverage maker with detachably connectable mixing container

Abstract

A device for producing frozen beverages (100), comprising: a housing (102) with an upper housing part (122) and a coupling mechanism (110) movable relative to the upper housing part (122) between a coupled position and an uncoupled position; a mixing vessel (104) for receiving a beverage product, the mixing vessel (104) having a rear end with a first opening (117) and a front end with a second opening for dispensing the beverage product; and a flexible seal (121) between the upper housing part (122) and the rear end of the mixing vessel (104);wherein the coupling mechanism (110) enables the coupling of the mixing vessel (104) to the upper housing section (122) when it is in the coupled position, and enables the decoupling of the mixing vessel (104) from the upper housing section (122) when it is in the decoupled position, and wherein, when the coupling mechanism (110) is in the coupled position, the rear end of the mixing vessel (104) is sealed against the upper housing section (122) by the flexible seal (121).
